Après une décennie de domination et un support logiciel sans précédent, Nvidia confirme explorer activement la création d'un nouveau modèle pour sa box Shield TV. Selon Andrew Bell, vice-président de l'ingénierie, cette future version corrigerait ses principales faiblesses en intégrant les codecs modernes comme l'AV1 et le support du format HDR10+ de Samsung, répondant enfin aux attentes des utilisateurs.
