The Best Black Friday 2024 UK Deals
Black Friday is here, and the UK is ready to splurge some hard-earned money on holiday gifts and treats. Yes, Black Friday is pretty much a month-long affair these days, but the best deals happen on Black Friday and leading into Cyber Monday. It can be overwhelming getting one's head around the sheer amount of deals and websites to filter, though, which is why we're here with our Best UK Black Friday deals guide.
This guide includes game consoles, TVs, Power Banks, Beauty tech, and more. Best of all, it's getting updated as new deals come in. Looking for something specific? Use the table of contents at the side of this article to find the products you're looking after. Let's get straight into it:
Gaming Consoles and Accessories
This section is dedicated to everything related to Xbox, PS5 and Nintendo Switch consoles. We're also planting the best controller, memory card and other accessory / peripheral deals. So here they are section by section/
Nintendo Switch
It's slim pickings for Black Friday switch console deals, so we've found some bundle deals with discounts that make up a good deal and found some great deals on Nintendo-themed SD cards also:
PlayStation 5
The new PS5 Slim? Dualsense Edge controller? Yep, Black Friday is here for Sony fans alright. Here's what we've found so far:
Xbox Series X/S
Xbox Series S is the Black Friday console deal to beat so far, with offers on a range of controllers and memory expansion cards:
Handheld Gaming PCs
This feels like the first year where players have a choice on which type of gaming handheld they need. We're going for ASUS Rog Ally featuring the Z1 Extreme Processor and 512GB SSD. There's also MSI Claw and Lenovo Legion Go if a windows handheld is on your Black Friday hitlist this year:
Video Games
It's no fun buying a new console without picking up any games, right? Hit's like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Astro Bot, Hogwarts Legacy and Jedi: Survivor are some top picks, but here's the best we've found so far:
Nintendo Switch
Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Sonic X Shadow Generations are must plays on Nintendo Switch. Who would have thought two of the best Sonic and Mario games would end up on one console?
PC
It looks like Sony is killing it this Black Friday with plenty of offers on their PS5 game ports. Spider-Man Remastered and Horizon Forbidden West stand out in these deals, with Hogwarts Legacy fighting it's corner with its digital deluxe offer.
PlayStation 4 and 5
PS4 games can sometimes be a cheaper way of getting a PS5 game, wierd right? Sometimes PS4 games can be upgraded via the PS Store either for free or for for cheap, which saves some money when looking at the PS5 version. Make sure to check if a game has an upgrade scheme before buying.
Xbox Series X/S/One
Space Marine 2 and Alan Wake II are both under £40 for Black Friday, which is a straight decision in our opinion. FC 25 has also gone down to £34.99 for it's digital version, so what are you waiting for?
PC Hardware
Graphics Cards and prebuilds, right? We've got you alongside some epic deals on gaming laptops too (Yes, they're awesome too Master Race). Let's dive into these massive Black Friday Savings:
Gaming Laptops
Acer and HP are giving it their best shot with Black Friday offers, but ASUS is killing it with their Tuf and ROG lines. There's some bang for your buck here, so make sure to have a quick look:
Gaming PCs And Components
Here we go! Crucial have some amazing SSD deals for your rig, so maybe it's time for a upgrade? Want to go down the prebuilt route? Massively discounted towers such as Corsair ONE i500 is worth a punt. Let's not forget some great deals on high-end graphics cards to boot:
Apple
The usual suspects have shown up for Apples Black Friday deals such as AirTags and AirPods, but there's also some amazing deals on 10.9 inch iPads and 2024 Macbook Air models featuring the M2 chip. It's a good time to join the Apple eco system for sure:
AR, VR and Smart Glasses
You know about Meta Quest, but what about a pair of augmented reality shades or glasses? XReal are out in force this Black Friday with their impressive take on personal video and audio (Plugging these into a ROG Ally or Nintendo Switch is so cool). Even Ray-Ban has jumped on the hype train this year:
Ear Buds
Want low profile personal audio? Ear Buds are for you, and there's plenty of choice this Black Friday. Beats are dominating the space with cracking deals on their entire Ear Bud range right now:
Headphones
There's some brilliant Beats Audio deals here too, with Sony closing the gap with their headphones. Audio is their bread and butter after all! The amazing Bose QuietComfort are also in the BLack Friday sale, which might turn even more heads thanks to it's noise cancelling tech.
Meta Quest
Meta Quest 3 and 3S are both on sale for Black Friday, including refurbished models for some extra savings. Quest have made their name being the most accessible VR Headsets without needing a gaming laptop or PC to get the ball rolling. Quest 3 clarity and ease of use is amazing, and there's plenty of accessories on offer from brands such as Kiwi design also.
TVs and Monitors
You 100% need a TV upgrade to go with that new PlayStation 5. It's the year of budget TV brand this Black Friday, with brands such as TCL delivering top tier specs at budget prices. A 55-Inch QLED TV with full HDR support and Android TV? That's insane!
Home and Smart Home
Amazon products are obviously out in force, which is fine because they're awesome. There's also some brilliant deals on other tech such as Ninja Air fryers and loads more. If something electrical is broken in your house, the chances are you can replace it for a bargain:
LEGO
It's not Black Friday without LEGO! The clear highlight here is the ridiculously expensive Lord of the Rings Rivendell set with a welcdome £65 off. Star Wars ships are a close second here with the Imperial Star Destroyer and Ghost / Phantom II set.
Health and Beauty
Well if you need your hair straightening, curling or drying, Black Friday 2024 has you covered with big brand like GHD and Shark. This isn't just about hair though, there's plenty to go at this Black Friday.

Garry's Mod Has Sold an Incredible 25.4 Million Copies, Is the Best-Selling PC Exclusive of All-Time
Garry’s Mod has sold over 25 million copies since going on sale 18 years ago, Facepunch Studios has announced.
The physics sandbox is now over 25.4 million sold, to be exact, since going on sale on PC via Steam back in 2006.
Designer Garry Newman tweeted to reflect on the astonishing sales success of Garry’s Mod, saying: “When Valve first floated the idea of selling Garry's Mod on Steam I said no because.. ‘who would pay for that?.’
“Well 18 years later, it turns out that 25,560,290 people would. Glad to have been wrong on this one.”
18 Years. Thank you! 🎉

Enjoy 40% off Garry's Mod in the Steam Autumn Sale too: https://t.co/ARYX23i8J3 pic.twitter.com/dixlHoYZFS
In September, Garry’s Mod was named the best-selling PC exclusive of all-time by the Guinness Book of Records, beating out the likes of World of Warcraft and its expansions. At the time, Newman joked that he “never imagined becoming a world record holder and not be prawn cocktail crisps related.”
Garry's Mod lets you play with models from Valve games developed on the Source engine, and its enduring popularity has seen it remain in steam’s top 100 most-played games list for years.
In July, Newman said the “Skibidi Toilet guys” had hit him with a DMCA in a wild bit of litigious irony. But soon after, an account purporting to be Skibidi Toilet creator Alexey Gerasimov (DaFuq!?Boom) said he wasn’t behind the claim, and Newman then told IGN that the matter had been “resolved.”
Newman had shared the news about the Skibidi Toilet DMCA, including pasting a screenshot of the letter he was sent. The copyright holder the letter was attributed to was Invisible Narratives, the film and TV production studio that’s partnering with Michael Bay on a Skibidi Toilet film.
The letter Newman posted specifically cited Skibidi Toilet characters Titan Cameraman, Titan Speakerman, and Titan TV Man, saying they were "all registered copyrights that are unique and representative of our brand." Sure enough, a public catalog search reveals that Invisible Narratives had indeed claimed a copyright for Titan Cameraman and three other unpublished works.
The letter added that “significant revenue is being generated by unauthorized Skibidi Toilet Garry's Mod games that are being advertised everywhere." The irony was not lost on Newman, who declared: “can you believe the cheek?” Skidibi Toilet, of course, is largely made with assets from Half-Life 2, and was originally created in Garry’s Mod.
Earlier this year, Facepunch removed all Nintendo-related content on Garry's Mod - what amounted to 20 years of uploads - from Steam Workshop after receiving a takedown request from Nintendo. Newman is currently working on a successor to Garry's Mod called S&box.

Hundreds of LEGO Black Friday Deals Are Here: Here Are My Top Picks
If you or someone on your shopping list this holiday season is a fan of building LEGO sets, you’re in luck. The official Black Friday sales are live, which means you can save a bundle on all sorts of LEGO sets at a variety of retailers. We’re sifting through the biggest LEGO Black Friday deals every day to keep this article up to date so you can grab the sets you want at enormously discounted prices. Let's face it, LEGO sets can be expensive, so now is the time to get them when they're on sale. Let’s dive in.
LEGO Star Wars UCS Razor Crest for $416
This is an awesome set for fans of LEGO's Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series. It's a massive build comprised of over 6,000 pieces, and it comes with a number of minifigures, including the Mandalorian and Grogu. If you want it, I'd definitely pick it up sooner than later, before stock runs out.
LEGO Technic Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 for $490
Another super popular discount on a set that almost never goes on sale is this $490 deal on the LEGO Technic Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000. It's a truly massive nearly 3,000 piece set. Even the deal price makes it clear it's not for everyone. But if you're a LEGO collector, now is a good time to pick this one up.
LEGO Deals at Amazon
As is often the case, Amazon is price-matching most of Best Buy's LEGO sale, but it also has a few additional sets on sale. If you prefer to make your purchases at Amazon over Best Buy, you can probably find the same deals at both retailers. That said, Amazon is more likely to sell out of products it price-matches, so you may want to remain open to making purchases at Best Buy in that case.
LEGO Deals at Target
Frankly, Target has been going nuts with LEGO deals lately. A major sale on the building block toys has just ended, but a bunch of Marvel and Disney-themed sets are still on sale, including some majorly popular Target-exclusives, like the Disney Villain Icons 100th Anniversary set. Scroll through our picks above (or the full list of deals) and pick up whatever sets you want.
LEGO Deals at LEGO Store
The LEGO Store has a sale that's available to one and all right now. You can shop the whole sale here, or slide through my favorites in the delightful carousel above. Sets on sale include the LEGO Atari 2600 for elder gamers (myself included) plus a couple of new Christmas decoration sets you can put to good use right now, and more.
LEGO Deals at LEGO Store (for Insiders)
LEGO is running an entirely separate sale for LEGO Insiders (sign up here for free). It includes some of the more sought-after sets, like the LEGO NES and Tree House. The deals run through December 2, so scoop up whatever you like. And sign up for the Insider program if you haven't already, because there's no reason not to.
LEGO Deals at Best Buy
Best Buy has some juicy discounts on LEGO sets in its early Black Friday sale. Fans of LEGO Star Wars sets can save on a nostalgic diorama of the Anakin's pod race. There's a great LEGO Batman set that includes an awesome Batmobile build. Two LEGO Art sets are on sale, both of which you can build and hang on your wall, which is pretty rad if you ask me.
LEGO Deals at Walmart
Some of the best LEGO early Black Friday deals available right now are at Walmart. The Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone set is on sale for $45, and the Marvel Endgame Final Battle Building set is on sale for $70. You can see the full sale here.
If they come back in stock, I also expect the 2024 LEGO advent calendars to go on sale for as low as $20 during the week of Black Friday, so check back here on Monday, 11/25 for an update. Advent calendars should include the Spider-Man advent calendar, as well as the Disney set (already on sale) and LEGO Friends sets. These are all unusually good deals for LEGO, so plan to grab the deals on LEGO gifts you want while they last.
Should You Wait Until Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday 2024 falls on December 2, but by and large, the deals above are the deals that will be available. Some sets that go out of stock now may come back in stock on Monday, but I certainly wouldn't count on it. So, if you see a deal on a set you've been interested in, it's best to grab it now before it's too late.

What to Watch this Weekend: It's Time for the Annual Thanksgiving Binge
Welcome to Streaming Rewind, a weekly breakdown of the new and noteworthy as we work to help readers wade through the absolute deluge of television series and movies in the streaming space.
It’s almost time for turkey! It’s also almost time for the universally accepted media catchup week, which is good, because there isn’t a whole lot new dropping on streaming or digital Thanksgiving weekend. You can finally watch Terrifier 3 at home, though, if you’re looking for a way to deeply scandalize your relatives.
Because there isn’t a ton dropping this week, here’s a quick list of shows and movies that you can stream that I loved this year and you may enjoy watching this weekend.
Hazbin Hotel (Prime Video)
I had never watched Vivienne Medrano’s hit YouTube pilot for Hazbin Hotel; I just knew that fans were ravenous for more. When Prime Video picked up the series (and then renewed for Season 2 and then Seasons 3 and 4 shortly after after the meteoric performance of Season 1), I figured it was time to give the salacious adult animated series a watch. Lucky I did, because it ended up being one of my favorite shows of 2024. Not for nothing, but I’m pretty sure my Spotify Wrapped will be made up exclusively of the soundtrack as well.
The series follows Charlie Morningstar (Erika Henningsen, of Mean Girls — the stage musical — fame), daughter of Lucifer Morningstar, as she works to rehabilitate sinners and convince heaven to give them a second chance. There’s just one problem: Lucifer (Jeremy Jordan) has given up and the angels are all dicks. If you liked Supernatural’s nuanced approach to heaven and hell and angels and demons, you’ll appreciate a lot going on here.
Twisters (Peacock)
I’ve already talked about Twisters once on this weekly what to watch list, mostly because it very recently hit Peacock. But, given that the legacy sequel ended up as one of my favorite movies of 2024, you’re getting the recommendation again. For years, folks have said that 1996’s Twister had no stakes, featuring a ton of disasters but no real consequences for its primary cast. Well, Twisters heard you. You’ll know why after you watch the first 15 minutes of the film.
Outside of that, the chemistry between Daisy Edgar-Jones’ Kate and Glen Powell’s Tyler carries the ensemble cast through a rip-roaring and occasionally absurd disaster film. For the record, I am a firm believer that “rip-roaring and occasionally absurd” should be the descriptor for all disaster films, so let that be your guide when it comes to this recommendation.
The Acolyte (Disney+)
Every time Star Wars does something interesting, something bad happens (read: the executives panic and give a bunch of loud trolls exactly what they want), but that’s OK, because we still have The Last Jedi and The Acolyte. Creator Leslye Headland delivered a complex look at the Jedi and the issues with their authoritarianism during the High Republic era, which was buoyed by lead performances from Amandla Stenberg as twins Osha and Mae and Mannie Jacinto as Qimir. While it’s a pity we won’t get the end of their story, the series’ ending already tells us that Osha and Qimir are doomed, so we’ll just have to be happy to watch The Acolyte’s cult following grow over the years.
The First Omen (Hulu)
No one was a bigger The First Omen hater than me when the film was first announced. A prequel to The Omen was dangerously close to the top of completely unnecessary film projects, but that didn’t stop writer/director Arkasha Stevenson from making a movie that I consider to be damn near essential viewing. Nell Tiger Free acts her ass off as the film’s lead, Margaret, and gives life to a wildly feminist script that, no, is not free of a few prequel pitfalls. Once you’ve watched you may join me in ignoring the film’s cringe-worthy final 15 seconds. (Yoda doesn’t show up, but it’s almost as bad.)
Shogun (Hulu)
If you didn’t watch Shogun back when it first aired, now is absolutely the time to catch up on the series — especially now that it’s shifted from a limited series and will get a Season 2. The first season of the series adapts the novel of the same name in its completion, so we’re still not sure what Season 2 could possibly be about. However, it’s hard not to get excited when Season 1 was the best series of 2024. (We’ll see if the rest of the IGN staff agrees come IGN Awards time!)
Shogun follows the stories of the roguish pirate John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis), the powerful and shrewd Lord Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada) and the whip-smart and deftly loyal Lady Mariko (Anna Sawai) as their worlds collide during a complicated power struggle in feudal Japan.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles (Paramount+)
It’s not new but it’s Thanksgiving and we honor the classics in this house (and John Hughes, John Candy, and Steve Martin, obviously). Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a Thanksgiving tradition in plenty of households, but if you haven’t watched Martin’s Neal Page and Candy’s Del Griffith schlep across several states while one desperately tries to make it home for the holiday, you don’t know what you’re missing!
New and Notable to Streaming and Digital
- Terrifier 3 — November 26 (On Digital)
- The Madness — November 28 (Netflix)
- Nutcrackers — November 29 (Hulu)
- Beatles '64 (new documentary from producer Martin Scorsese) — November 29 (Disney+)
Score Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (PS5) for Just $15 This Black Friday
There are plenty of gaming deals to check out for Black Friday. For PlayStation 5 owners, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has dropped to just $15 today at Amazon. This is a whole 70% off its list price of $49.99, marking a drop to its lowest price ever according to price tracker camelcamelcamel.
If this deal sells out, a good backup option is over at Best Buy where you can score the game for $19.99. This is a few dollars more than the one at Amazon, but still a great option to keep in mind if the $15 deal disappears.
We had high praise for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown upon release. Writer Phil Hornshaw said in our review of the game that "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown captures not only what made games such as The Sands of Time so good, but it irons out a lot of the little issues that plagued the 3D games in this series by opting for a 2D perspective – and owning it. It also works extremely well as a traditional Metroidvania, sticking with tried-and-true elements of the genre but executing on them with precision."
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has also earned a couple of nominations from The Game Awards this year for Best Action/Adventure Game and Innovation in Accessibility. We also consider it one of the best video games of 2024.

Amazon Drops Over 30% Off the Legion Go Gaming Handheld PC for Black Friday
For Black Friday, Amazon has the lowest price on one of the best gaming handhelds on the market, especially if you prefer a Windows-based operating system. Right now you can pick up a Lenovo Legion Go 512GB gaming handheld for only $472.97 shipped after a 32% off instant discount. The Legion Go shares similar specs with the Asus ROG Ally Z1 Extreme, but the Legion Go benefits from a bigger and sharper display, detachable controllers, and a larger battery.
Lenovo Legion Go 512GB Gaming Handheld
The Lenovo Legion Go is a Windows-based gaming handheld that's powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU with Radeon graphics and 16GB RAM, which is the same configuration as the one found in the $700 Asus ROG Ally Z1 Extreme. The Legion Go also boasts a a bigger and sharper 8.8" 2560x1600 144Hz IPS touchscreen display and detachable controllers like the Nintendo Switch. Since the Legion Go operates off Windows 11, it works with most PC game clients, including Steam, Origin, Ubisoft, Epic Games, Genshin Impact, Battle.net, and more.
In Jacqueline Thomas' Lenovo Legion Go review, she wrote that "it is easily the best handheld gaming PC on the market right now as measured by screen size, horsepower, and USB-C port placement, but there are some caveats. It's absolutely massive, and the 1600p display is more than even this powerhouse chip can handle. That means you're going to have to spend some time tinkering with – and specifically lowering – quality settings to get your games running properly. Even then the battery life isn’t great, and naturally you’re paying a premium over the Steam Deck OLED for the bigger display, a full Windows 11 license, and extra oomph. But if you love the idea of the Switch, where you can remove the controllers, prop the screen up on a beefy kickstand, and sit back and enjoy? This is the one for you."
After the article was written, the Asus ROG Ally X was released and has taken over the throne as the new "best gaming handheld". However, the Ally X is far more expensive: even with today's Black Friday deal, it still costs $699.99. The Legion Go is definitely a much better value for the price.
If you end up getting this deal, we'd recommend picking up a portable power bank for extended travels and a Micro SD card. We've compared the Steam Deck to the ROG Ally and although the Legion Go isn't mentioned, the article gives you a good idea of the major differences between a Steam-based and Windows-based gaming handheld.

Although the Odyssey G5 doesn't have official G-Sync certification, it does support AMD FreeSync Premium, which means you can still run it in G-Sync compatibility mode if you have an Nvidia GeForce GPU. In IGN's 8/10 review, Dan Stapleton wrote that "Batman: Arkham Shadow makes most of the Arkham series' defining gameplay work respectably well in VR, and its mystery story pays off."
Metroid Prime Trilogy: Visual Retrospective Art Book for $34.99
Nintendo is releasing Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective, a 212-page hardcover art book that delves into the creation and evolution of the Metroid Prime trilogy. Partnering with Piggyback, the book is set to launch on July 31, 2025. The premium collectible was originally priced at $49.99, but preorders are now available with a $15 discount from Amazon.
The anthology spans over 20 years of Metroid Prime history, offering insights into the series' development, including behind-the-scenes notes and anecdotes from the teams who brought the trilogy to life. There's also exclusive developer interviews, commentary from key creators, and a foreword by Metroid Prime producer Kensuke Tanabe.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $30
It's official, Nintendo is having a great Black Friday this year. Tears of the Kingdom is the only Nintendo Switch game released by Nintendo to retail for $69.99, but it's gotten a fantastic Black Friday discount this year. After being out of stock, it's back on sale to just $30 at Walmart. This is the lowest we've seen the game yet, and the deal applies to both physical and digital copies of the game.
In our 10/10 review, we said Tears of the Kingdom "is an unfathomable follow-up to one of the greatest games ever made, somehow improving upon it in nearly every way – be that with simple quality-of-life improvements, a genuinely exciting story, or wildly creative new building mechanics that make you rethink what is possible."
Metaphor: ReFantazio for $49.99
Among the standout offers for gamers is Metaphor: ReFantazio, the critically acclaimed RPG that launched to rave reviews in October, and has even got a nod for 'Best Game' at the Game of the Year Awards.
For a limited time, you can snag the game for $20 off on PS5 and Xbox platforms, down to just $49.99. Whether you've been holding out for it to go on sale or want the best price when picking it up as a gift, this is likely the lowest we’ll see before Christmas.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for $15
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is now just $14.97 on PS5 at Amazon, a significant $35 off its list price. Despite some disappointment from Ubisoft, the game has garnered praise for its classic feel and modern polish, with many critics calling it one of the better releases this year.
We gave Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown an 8/10, with reviewer Phil Hornshaw stating: "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown captures not only what made games such as The Sands of Time so good, but it irons out a lot of the little issues that plagued the 3D games in this series by opting for a 2D perspective – and owning it.
Silent Hill 2 for $30
If you are into horror games and still haven't played Silent Hill 2, now is a great chance to start as the PS5 version of Silent Hill 2 is more than half off at Walmart for Black Friday. As one of several Black Friday video game deals going on right now, the Silent Hill 2 remake was one highly requested by fans, and it did not disappoint.
From our review: "The remake is a modern reminder not just of an era where Konami was a master of survival horror, but also the significant power of Silent Hill 2’s unrelenting misery." So, are you ready to play one of the best horror games of all time?
Sonic X Shadow Generations for $29.99
Have you tried Sonic X Shadow Generations yet? If not, now’s the perfect time. It's down to $29.99 for Black Friday on PS5, Switch, and Xbox – $20 off the price it launched at just over a month ago. This isn’t a sign of trouble; Sega often discounts even its top-performing games during Black Friday sales. Instead, this is simply one of the season's best gaming deals.
For $30, you’re getting Sonic Generations remastered, paired with the ultimate Shadow experience in Shadow Generations. It’s an incredible package and a contender for game of the year in my opinion. Whether you're a Sonic fan or not, this is a must-play experience and a bargain at this price.
Star Wars Outlaws for $39.99
If you chose patience with Star Wars Outlaws, then here is your reward. The new Star Wars game has been discounted in the Black Friday sales, now down to $39.99 on PS5 and Xbox. That's $30 off the original list price and potentially a much better offering for anyone who was unsure of the game when it launched back in late August.
The deal also features Amazon's exclusive limited edition content pack, which includes Rogue Infiltrator cosmetics for Kay and Nix. It's likely the best deal we're getting on the game before Christmas, so snap it up if you've been waiting for a sale or want to gift it to someone over the holidays.
PS5 Fornite Bundle for $424
Sony released its entire set of Black Friday PlayStation deals last week and most major retailers have followed suit. The best deal is definitely on the consoles themselves.
The PS5 Slim Disc Edition has dropped to $424.99 (originally $500) and the PS5 Slim Digital Edition has dropped to $374.99 (originally $450). I would choose the Disc Edition because it's only $50 more and then I have the option to buy (and later sell or trade) physical disc media.
Metal Gear Solid: The Master Collection Vol. 1 for $18.99
Ready to sneak back into one of gaming's most legendary franchises? Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 for PS5, Switch, and Xbox is just $18.99 at Amazon for Black Friday. That's a stealthy 53% off its $39.99 retail price, saving you over $20 while delivering a masterclass in espionage action. At under $20, this is a Black Friday deal worth crawling through an air vent for.
This iconic bundle includes a lineup of classics that define a generation, such as Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. But the nostalgia doesn't stop there. You'll also get early entries like Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, plus rarities like Snake's Revenge and the NES version of Metal Gear. It's like a time machine for your gaming console with better graphics.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for $49.99
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has a phenomenal campaign that you can play either single-player or with up to three friends. The story is nice and twisty, pitting you and your fellow futuristic military men against the alien Tyranid forces.
Once you’re done with the campaign, there’s a whole lot of cosmetic gear and armor colors you can collect by playing co-op missions or online multiplayer matches. The whole game is just a great shooter that delivers on the fundamentals. Plus, it looks fantastic, having left behind the previous generation of consoles. You can read IGN's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 review for more details to see whether it’ll appeal to you. We loved it, though, giving it an 8 out of 10.
PlayStation VR 2 is $349.99 for Black Friday
This is one of the standout deals of Black Friday: the PSVR2 Horizon: Call of the Mountain bundle is now just $350, a massive $250 discount. At this price, it matches the cost of the standalone PSVR2 in the sale, but the bundle is the clear choice—offering an excellent game to pair with your new high-performance VR headset.
This deal puts the PSVR2 in direct competition with more budget-friendly options like the Meta Quest, making it an enticing option for those looking to dive into premium virtual reality. It’s a great opportunity for newcomers to experience top-tier VR gaming at an unbeatable price.
DualSense Controllers for $54
DualSense controllers are now just $54.99, a significant drop from their usual $74.99 MSRP. Even better, special edition models, featuring unique designs, are also discounted to $59.99. This marks one of the best deals we’ve seen on DualSense controllers in quite some time, making it a great opportunity to pick one up—or even grab a spare for multiplayer gaming.
Whether you're upgrading your PlayStation setup or hunting for a holiday gift, this Black Friday offer delivers exceptional value. With discounts this good, it’s the perfect time to invest in a high-quality controller that enhances every gaming experience.
PS5 2TB SSD for $133.99
Amazon has dropped the 2TB WD Black SN850X PS5 SSD with Heatsink down to just $133.99 for Black Friday today, and tremendous deal this year and one of the best SSD deals we've had since Prime Day.
WD Black SN850X is one of the best-performing PCIe 4.0 SSDs on the market; this is not only the best SSD for your PlayStation 5 console, but it can also be a blazing-fast boot drive for your gaming rig. Whichever you're buying it for, you won't find it cheaper before the end of the sales this weekend.
Switch/ Steam Deck Micro SD Card for $55
Looking for the best micro SD card for your Switch or Steam Deck this Black Friday? Then look no further, as these are truly the absolute best deals today. For $55 you can get a perfect 1TB micro SD card, or for $88.99 you can score one of our favorite 1.5TB micro SD cards.
My advice? Opt for the 1TB card for just $55, as that's an all-time low and one of the best deals I've ever seen for the Steam Deck. 1TB cards can go from upwards of $90+ even when on sale, so this is a rare opportunity to get a real Black Friday discount. Plus, if you're a Switch owner, there's a decent likelihood that the Switch 2 will run optimized for U3 A2 micro SD cards.
Switch OLED Bundle for $274.99
Priced at $275, alongside the standard Switch bundle for $225, if they're in stock they're the best BlackF Friday Switch deal ever. Both include a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription, making them standout Black Friday deals of 2024, and probably my favorite deal of the year.
This deal has already sold out multiple times before Black Friday (today!), and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes again before the end of the day. Even with the rumored Switch 2 likely arriving next year, it’s worth grabbing this bundle for your kids, a friend, or yourself, but do it quickly to avoid missing out, as it’s unlikely to last much longer.

SteelSeries Gaming Headsets for PS5 Are on Sale for Black Friday at Amazon and Best Buy
For Black Friday, Amazon has dropped the price of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P gaming headset to just $107.99 after a lofty 40% off instant discount. The Arctis 7P is one of the best headsets you can get for the PlayStation 5 and PC. I own a pair of these myself and highly recommend it.
IGN writer Matthew Adler reviewed the PC version of the Arctis Nova 7, saying: "SteelSeries continues to push the boundaries of what a headset is capable of. With the addition of simultaneous Bluetooth audio, you can enjoy music, podcasts, or just chat with your friends without losing your game audio – all with a single pair of headphones. The Arctis Nova 7’s new design is sleek, lightweight, and still remains one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve ever used."
40% Off SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Gaming Headset
The SteelSeries Nova 7 is the latest successor to the highly rated Arctis 7 series of headsets. It's every bit as good as its predecessor but with some welcome upgrades like a USB Type-C charging port, a longer battery life (38 hours vs. 30 hours), simultaneous wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, and multi-platform compatibility. PC gamers also have access to the SteelSeries GG app, which opens up a whole suite of customization for your audio. You can tailor your audio settings independently for each game. If that's too much for you, there are presets for specific games that are actually tailormade by the game developers. For PS5 gamers, the Nova 7 is also compatible with the PlayStation 5's Tempest 3D Audio.
The Arctis Nova 7P is definitely one of the best headsets at this price point. It has significantly better build quality compared to the official $100 Xbox wireless headset, or even to SteelSeries' own Arctis Nova 5, which also normally sells for close to this price. If you want an even better SteelSeries branded wireless headset, check out the deal below.
50% Off SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset
If you're looking for a wireless gaming headset with swappable batteries, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless gaming headset is going to be your best bet – now at the best price you'll find. Best Buy just dropped 50% off this headset for Black Friday, now only $139.99 shipped. The packaging mentions only PS4 and PC compatibility, however SteelSeries has confirmed PS5 compatibility. The only other wireless headset with swappable batteries is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, and we've never seen that model sell for under $250.

- The Best Black Friday Deal on the Ray-Ban Meta Warfarer Smart Glasses Is Live at Target and Amazon
The Best Black Friday Deal on the Ray-Ban Meta Warfarer Smart Glasses Is Live at Target and Amazon
So far this year, Target stands near the top of the heap as the retailer with the best Black Friday deals so far. One such deal is on an intriguing – and a bit controversial – pair of smart glasses. Right now, Target is offering a 20% discount off the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses, with prices starting at $239.20. That's the same 20% off deal you'll find at other retailers, however Target is also throwing in a $90 Target gift card with your purchase. Combine the two and you're saving up to 50% off. This will probably be the best deal you'll find on this specific product.
Update: Amazon has matched this offer by throwing in $90 in Amazon digital credit.
Up to $150 Off the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses
The Meta Wayfarer glasses are an influencer's dream, and that's exactly what they're designed for: social media. They're surprisingly slim and lightweight for glasses equipped with an integrated 12MP video camera and speaker. You can use them to take quick snapshots or up to 60 second videos that you can then upload to your social media of choice. You can even livestream 30 second videos in 720p. Note that there's an LED that pulses whenever you're taking a photo or video to let others know that they're on camera. However, it's pretty discreet and can be easily covered up, much to the displeasure of anyone who happens to be in front of you.
The Wayfarer glasses feature open-ear speakers with extended base and low distortion at high volumes in order to deal with wind and ambient noise. Five microphones built into the frame serve up good voice clarity when you're making or receiving phone calls or recording audio. Connectivity options are up to date with both Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The internal battery provides up to four hours of continuous playtime on a single charge and up to 36 hours from the charging case. The Wayfarers are available in several different sizes and lenses options. The least expensive models sport pink or green lenses. The mid-range models have polarized sunglass lenses. The high-end models have transition lenses that automatically darken when you go outside.
If you've been wanting to give these glasses a try, this is the best deal you'll find for the foreesable future, unless Ray-Ban or Meta decides to discontinue the product. With these types of products, there will inevitably be privacy issues that you'll have to deal with, and it's up to you to be responsible for how to use them. But right now I'm here to say "if you're going to get them, there's no better place and time than Target on Black Friday."
