South Park Nabs Five-Year Streaming Deal With Paramount+ For $1.5 Billion Ahead of Season 27 Premiere

22 juillet 2025 à 17:14

You can’t get rid of Eric Cartman that easy, folks. South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are reportedly close to securing a major breakthrough deal for the show’s streaming rights, after lengthy and tense negotiations in the wake of the Paramount-Skydance merger.

Paramount agreed on July 21 to purchase the streaming rights for South Park to be part of the Paramount+ catalog, according to The Los Angeles Times. The deal — in which Parker and Stone’s company Park County Productions agreed to produce 10 episodes a year — is not yet final, but according to the outlet, it is being valued at a whopping $300 million a year and is expected to pull through.

The deal, which will span five years, will garner the streamer over $1.5 billion over the length of their contract — which makes this one of the most valuable franchises in television at the moment. To be fair, it makes sense! South Park took the world by storm when it debuted in 1999 and blew up as a franchise in the years since, with countless specials, a theatrical film, video games, merchandise, and more.

But South Park's future recently felt like it was up in the air after the expiry of HBO Max's previous streaming rights to the show, which ended in June and has since left the show in the lurch. Parker and Stone seemed to be frustrated both with the ensuing streaming deal battle as well as how the Paramount-Skydance merger was affecting the production of the series, which has only aired six episodes and three specials since February 2023.

After Paramount delayed the season 27 premiere from July 9 to July 23, the creative team took to social media to share their feelings. “In response to the press release from Comedy Central about the change in premiere date for South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone said: 'This merger is a s**tshow and it’s f**king up South Park,'” their statement read after the network’s announcement on July 2. “We are at the studio working on new episodes and we hope the fans get to see them somehow.”

Thankfully, it seems as though Parker and Stone will get some creative harmony — you know, amidst the South Park chaos, of course — very soon.

Until Dawn Developer Blames 'Challenging and Ever-Evolving Environment' as It Announces Layoffs, Delays Long-Awaited Next Horror Game Directive 8020 Until 2026

22 juillet 2025 à 17:03

Supermassive Games, developer of Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures Anthology horror series, has said it will lay off up to 36 staff in a fresh wave of redundancies.

In a statement published to the studio's social media this afternoon, Supermassive also confirmed a delay to its long-awaited sci-fi horror project Directive 8020, which will now arrive in "the first half of 2026".

Announcing the studio's job losses, Supermassive said it had been forced to adapt its team structure to "better align" with "a challenging and ever-evolving environment" in which to make games. The cuts follow an earlier round of redundancies in March 2024, when the developer said it would shed around 90 workers in a similarly-worded statement.

Supermassive previously stated it had around 350 employees as of 2023, meaning it has laid off around a third of the studio over the past 18 months.

"We remain focused on our upcoming projects and have made the decision to move the launch of Directive 8020 to the first half of 2026," Supermassive said. "The response to the game so far has been fantastic, and this additional time will help us deliver the very best experience for our fans. We're deeply grateful for the patience and support of our community."

A standalone entry in Supermassive's Dark Pictures Anthology, Directive 8020 was one of a list of apparently-upcoming entries in the series spotted back in early 2022. The game was then made official later that year, in a trailer included at the end of The Dark Pictures: The Devil In Me. Three years on, however, and fans are still waiting to play it.

A statement from Supermassive Games. pic.twitter.com/Vom1CSGYGs

— Supermassive Games (@SuperMGames) July 22, 2025

The Dark Pictures Anthology kicked off in 2019 with spooky boat mystery Man of Medan, before 2020 historical horror Little Hope, and then 2021's Iraq-set House of Ashes. Next up was the murder hotel-inspired The Devil in Me in 2022, before then the virtual reality spin-off Switchback VR a year later.

Since then, progress on further entries in the series appears to have slowed, with Directive 8020 now set to arrive at least three years after the franchise's previous entry, and positioned as a more standalone title. Supermassive has said it has used the extra time to improve the franchise's gameplay, though links to previous games — such as via the mysterious recurring character of the Curator — sound like they'll be played down.

In the meantime, Supermassive will continue working on its delayed Little Nightmares 3, currently set to launch on October 10. Development on this project is unaffected by today's layoffs, the studio has confirmed.

Funko Pop figures are back on the menu, boys. The company is releasing three brand new figures this year from The Lord of the Rings: Frodo Baggins, Gollum, and a model of Lurtz next to Orthanc. The first two are available to preorder right now for $14.99 while Lurtz and Orthanc is listed for $34.99, but all three are expected to release on the same day this year, October 4. If they've caught your eye and you're hoping to add them into your collectibles, head to the links below to get your preorder in.

Preorder New Lord of the Rings Funko Pop Figures

A fun detail on the Frodo and Gollum Funko Pops is that they both glow in the dark. Each of them stands atop a base of the One Ring which features glow-in-the-dark inscriptions, which will certainly help them stand out amongst your other collectibles. Lurtz does not glow in the dark, unfortunately, but the model of Orthanc that he comes with makes for a cool all-in-one display piece for your collection.

If you're in the mood to pick up even more figures to add to your collection, you're in luck. Outside of Lord of the Rings, there are also some great Marvel action figures from Hasbro and S.H.Figuarts up for preorder at the moment. The former currently has a Juggernaut figure available to preorder, while the latter is releasing an awesome figure of Cyclops. If you're a Marvel fan with a growing collectible collection, these are well worth checking out.

And if these figures have you itching for more Lord of the Rings items, check out our breakdowns of the best Lord of the Rings LEGO sets to buy or the best Lord of the Rings puzzles to stock up on even more goodies for your collection.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Officially Confirmed to Bring Back a Popular X and Y Character

22 juillet 2025 à 16:38

During today's Pokémon Presents, we saw a ton of new footage of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, including a brand new Mega Evolution. But for lore nerds, what was far more interesting was the official, confirmed appearance of a very popular character from our adventure in Pokémon X and Y. And yes, I'm going to spoil it for you below this video, so don't keep scrolling if you don't want to know.

If you watched today's trailer, you'll know this isn't much of a spoiler: Emma, from Pokémon X and Y, is officially confirmed for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Emma has been a part of fan speculation ever since the game was announced, and theories about her presence in Z-A have only multiplied over time.

For some context, Emma is a young girl in X and Y who is adopted and trained by Looker, a detective in Lumiose City who's become a fan-favorite character after multiple game appearances. At the end of X and Y, Looker effectively hands over the keys to his Looker Bureau to Emma. We've already seen that the Bureau appears in this futuristic Lumiose, so it makes sense that Emma would be running it. What's more, her design suggests she's still running around the city as the crime-fighting Essentia, based on the outfit under her jacket.

That said, Emma's presence does beg some questions. When exactly is Pokémon Legends: Z-A set? We don't know! Emma is definitely older in her Z-A appearance, but probably not so much older that there would have had time to essentially rebuild Lumiose from the ground up, from its X and Y aesthetic to the futuristic city appearing in Z-A.

Have there been time-traveling shenanigans? Is this Emma's daughter, also named Emma? Probably not that second one. Maybe the denizens of the Kalos region are just really, really fast at building cities.

— Serebii.net (@SerebiiNet) July 22, 2025

It's also worth pointing out here that another familiar face from X and Y appeared during today's trailer, albeit one that's maybe a little less instantly recognizable. If you spotted Mable, the new director of the Pokémon Research Lab, you might have recognized that she's a former member of Team Flare. She's uh, not exactly the most moral of people in X and Y, so it will be interesting to see if she's reformed since then or if there's something unsavory going on at the research lab.

There were other reveals during today's trailer, including brand new characters like Naveen, Lida, and either Urbain or Taunie. We also saw a brand new Mega Evolution, Mega Dragonite. Pokémon Legends: Z-A is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2025.

You can catch up on everything shown during today's Pokemon Presents right here.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Will Be Playable With Six Characters At Evo 2025

22 juillet 2025 à 16:27

The 4v4 superhero brawler Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is making its playable debut this summer. Arc System Works' next fighter will be playable at Evo 2025 in Las Vegas.

The build being shown off at Evo 2025 will let players build their four-person team from a lineup of six Marvel favorites: Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star Lord, Ms. Marvel, and Doctor Doom. Players can get a feel for how Arc System Works' take on Marvel fighting feels, and walk away with a collectible pin.

Taking place August 1 through 3, the Las Vegas Evo event is one of the largest fighting game tournaments of the year. Featuring main stage events around games like Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8, as well as side tournaments and open competition around beloved niche games, it should be a good time to get Arc System Works' superhero game in the hands of some fighting game aficionados.

For those at home or in-person, a Developer Combat Panel will be held with members of both Arc System Works and the Marvel Games Development teams. The panel will air on Friday, August 1 at 8pm PT on the showcase stage and streaming live on Evo's streaming channels. Currently, the team is just teasing that it will shed some "new light on the core gameplay mechanics."

On the PlayStation Blog, director Kazuto "Pachi" Sekine shared a brief message about the game:

“This is Sekine, Director of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls," Sekine wrote. "I’d like to express our thanks on behalf of the entire development team for the incredible response to the State of Play trailer. The game is still under development, but we’re really looking forward to sharing more in our Evo panel, and especially for fans to try it out for themselves with the very first trial version at the event.

"My hope is to 'Assemble' with all of the players and create an amazing game together. We’re trying out many new things to offer a fresh experience. I can’t wait to hear your feedback and thoughts.”

Arc System Works is well-known for its work in the fighting game space on Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, and Dragon Ball FighterZ, so it's not an understatement to say many are curious to see what the developer will do with Marvel. Tōkon: Fighting Souls is definitely playing into some nostalgia for the universe's tag-fighting legacy, but with a style—and fighter count—all its own.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is currently aiming for a 2026 window on PS5 and PC. Meanwhile, if you want to tune into all the fighting game action at Evo 2025, the tournaments start on August 1.

Pokémon Champions Looks to Have a Solid Training Suite, As It Aims for a 2026 Launch

22 juillet 2025 à 16:03

Pokémon Champions, the battle-focused Pokémon game, got a new trailer at today's Pokémon Presents. The competitive Pokémon game is aiming to arrive in 2026, and it's got a surprisingly solid suite of Pokémon training options packed in.

In today's trailer, we got an overview of the main pillars of Pokémon Champions. Pokémon can either be brought in from Pokémon Home, or recruited directly in Pokémon Champions, to fill out a competitive roster for both Singles and Doubles battles.

The surprising feature shown off today was in the training section, where The Pokémon Company showed options that will let players set specific statistical parameters for their Pokémon, as well as opting for specific movesets or "stat alignments."

These statistics, known in the Pokémon community under names like EVs and natures, are the backbone of Pokémon training for those who want to max out their potential. Having the option to set these, alongside movesets, within Pokémon Champions should hopefully make for a streamlined competitive experience. Mixed in with all this is a mysterious currency, "VP," which looks to meter specific aspects of training, like setting new statistics.

There are both Ranked and Private Battles for facing off with other Trainers, in both Single and Double battles. And plenty of animations, too, to show off all your freshly trained Pokémon's cool new moves.

Pokémon Champions is currently aiming for a 2026 release on both Nintendo Switch and mobile through iOS and Android.

Pokémon Friends, a New Pokémon Brain Teaser Game, Is Out Now on Mobile and Nintendo Switch

22 juillet 2025 à 15:44

During today's Pokémon Presents, The Pokémon Company announced a brand new Pokémon spin-off game. It's called Pokémon Friends, and it's a daily brain teaser game featuring lots of Pokémon-themed puzzles.

In the trailer, we got a look at a number of examples of the sorts of puzzles we'll encounter in Pokémon Friends. The first one showed a design of tiles with light bulbs on them, asking players to draw a line from one tile that touched every single other tile only once. Another had a player sliding lined tiles around to connect a path so that water could flow from one side to the other. Still others involved connecting train tracks, predicting which balloons wouldn't be popped by a flying arrow, sliding around an ice maze, and more.

All the games are themed around Pokémon such as Pikachu, Piplup, Mudkip, Sableye, and more. Completing puzzles gets the player in-game Pokemon plush items that they can use to decorate a virtual room.

Pokémon Friends is out right now on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch. It costs $9.99 on Nintendo Switch, and is "free to start" on mobile but eventually will block the player from progressing without paying. The game purports to feature over 1,200 different puzzles.

Pokémon Presents July 2025: Everything Announced

22 juillet 2025 à 15:39

A brand-new Pokémon Presents has arrived and, alongside giving us a glimpse at the adventure ahead in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, we were given a new look at Pokémon Champions, a sneak peek at Aardman's Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu, and even a surprise game called Pokémon Friends that is available right now!

There were a lot of exciting announcements during today's Pokémon Presents, and we're here to break them all down for you in one place!

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Footage Showcases Mega-Evolutions, Team MZ, the Rust Syndicate, Side-Quests, and More

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is headed to Switch and Switch 2 on October 16, 2025, and the latest Pokémon Presents gave us one of our best looks yet at the upcoming title set in Lumiose City. The star of this new footage just may have been Mega Dragonite, who is one of the new and returning Mega Evolution Pokémon that will be featured in Z-A. Mega Dragonite actually takes inspiration from Dragonair with the wings on its head and pearl on its tail.

Mega Evolutions will factor into the story as well, as there will be Rogue Mega Evolution Pokémon who can't contain their own strength for some reason and need to be stopped. Luckily, you won't need to do it alone and can fight these powerful Pokémon with friends you make along the way.

Speaking of friends, we were also introduced to many of the other people we'll be interacting with in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, including members of your team, Team MZ. These new friends include a fashion designer named Naveen and a professional dancer named Lida. Depending on your character, you'll also be introduced to either Urbain or Taunie, who will be an integral part of your team.

Not everyone will be your friend, however, as you just may run into the Rust Syndicate and its boss, Corbeau, as you are competing in the nighttime Z-A Royale event. While Pokemon Legends: Z-A's daytime hours are all about exploring Lumiose City and finding Pokemon to add to your party, nighttime is about battling trainers and climbing the ranks in this competition, and Corbeau is just one of the obstacles that will be in your path.

The city will additionally be home to a ton of side activities, including the ability to change your look at will. If you have a Pokemon like Furfrou, you'll even be able to change their appearance as well. Trainers will then be able to embark on side quests from characters like a detective named Emma and the acting director of Pokemon Research Lab, Mable.

Pokémon Friends, a New Pokémon Brain Teaser Game, Is Out Now on Mobile and Nintendo Switch

The Pokémon Company has announced Pokémon Friends, a brand-new brain teaser game that is out now on both mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. This new game features daily Pokémon-themed puzzles that, for example, have you connecting/lighting bulbs with one line for Pikachu, making a path for water, connecting tracks, and much more.

By completing these puzzles, you can unlock Pokémon plush items that can be used to decorate a virtual room in a the way you choose. Pokémon Friends will set you back $9.99 on Switch, but it's free-to-start on mobile.

Pokémon Champions Gets a Gameplay Overview

A new gameplay overview for Pokémon Champions was revealed, the upcoming battle-focused game headed to Switch, iOS, and Android in 2026, and it showcased how trainers will be fighting and training their Pokémon teams.

While players will be able to connect Pokémon Home and bring their caught Pokémon into Pokémon Champions, there will be an extensive recruiting system that lets players pick other Pokémon they'd like to test out for a limited time. If that Pokémon ends up being a perfect fit, they can be permanently added to the team using Victory Points (VP), which can be gained by Ranked Battles and more.

VP can also be used to alter Pokémon's stats and abilities to create the exact team players are looking for. As for the battles themselves, there will be Ranked Battles, Casual Battles, and Private Battles, giving flexibilty for how players can chose to engage with Pokémon Champions.

New Cards Revealed for Pokémon Trading Card Game's Mega Evolution Expansion

The twist is that players won't be able to just catch them, but they can get them as a Mystery Gift if players around the world defeat each one a million times. There will also be a series of Mass Outbreaks featuring Grass-, Ice-, Ground-, and Fire-type Pokémon over the next few months.

Elsewhere, Pokémon GO will be celebrating its "biggest event in history" with the Pokémon GO Fest: Max Finale on August 23-24 that will bring Eternatus into the game. Wallace and Gromit Studio Announces Animated Series Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu For 2027

22 juillet 2025 à 15:26

A new animated series is on the way for the world of Pokémon, from a very famous UK animation studio. Aardman Animation Studio announced today that it's partnering with Pokémon for a stop-motion animated series, Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu, arriving in 2027.

Aardamn Animation Studio is well-known for its work on stop-motion animated features, perhaps most notably the Wallace & Gromit series. With Pokémon Tales, Aardman is centering two particular Pokémon: Sirfetch'd and Pichu.

As co-founder Peter Lord said in today's Pokémon Presents showcase, the new series will take place in a region "very close" to the studio's hearts, told from the perspective of Pokémon and with Aardman's comedy chops. Given Aardman's UK background and Sirfetch'd being featured, we can easily assume Pokémon Tales will take place in the Galar region.

The short teaser we got today shows Sirfetch'd and Pichu up to some hijinks, as a Wooloo calmly enjoys the outdoors. It does seem like the comedy and tone are already in the right place.

Alongside Pokémon Tales, the second season of Pokémon Concierge got a firm release date at today's Pokémon Presents. Netflix's stop-motion animated series about an employee at a Pokémon resort won over some hearts when it first premiered, and now we're getting a follow-up on September 4.

It looks like Haru is back at work again, this time dealing with the sudden re-appearance of her ex. Chill vibes, cute Pokémon, and relatable crises seem to all be in store for Pokémon Concierge Season 2, which is now only a little over a month away.

Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu, meanwhile, is aiming for a much further target in 2027.

New Mega Pokémon Species Revealed for Pokémon Legends: Z-A

22 juillet 2025 à 15:21

Pokémon Legends Z-A will include new Mega Pokémon, it's been confirmed, with today's Pokémon Presents broadcast revealing the first.

The new Switch and Switch 2 game, due to launch for both consoles on October 16, sees the Pokémon series return to X and Y's Kalos region. With this comes a renewed focus on the franchise's popular Mega Evolution mechanic — something that's taken something of a backseat in recent years.

Now, we know that Pokémon Legends will feature all-new Mega Evolved Pokémon — such as Mega Dragonite.

A previous trailer confirmed the return of other, already-existing Mega Evoutions, such as Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Absol, and Mega Charizard X.

While something of a spin-off from the main series of Pokémon games, fans had expected Pokémon Legends Z-A to indeed feature new Mega Pokémon, just as Pokémon Legends: Arceus also introduced new species.

But where Arceus offered a different time period for its version of Sinnoh, retitled Hisui (something that allowed it to offer now-extinct Pokémon to catch and add to the franchise's Pokédex), Legends Z-A is set in the modern day, making adding all-new entries to the Kalos region's Pokédex more difficult. Except, of course, if those entries are Mega Pokémon — additional evolution stages that don't require their own bespoke Pokédex number.

Legends Z-A will see players recruited to join Team MZ, a group of heroes whose mission is to protect the city of Lumiose. Your friends and teammates include fashion designer Naveen, professional dancer Lida, and either Urbain or Taunie, depending on the appearance you choose for your player character.

Lumiose City's day and night-time gameplay sees you exploring and catching creatures during daylight hours, before competing in the Z-A Royale ranks using the Pokémon you've caught. It's throught the Z-A Royale you'll come to meet Corbeau, boss of the Rust Syndicate, a nefarious-looking organization operating in the city.

Outside of battling, you can spend time customizing your player character with different hair styles and colors, eye styles and shades, plus numerous outfits — something that will come in handy when looking your best in the game's Photo Mode.

Another ally on your journey will be Emma, described as the best detective in Lumiose City — and someone who will be very familiar to Pokémon fans. Now running her own detective agency, it looks like you'll pick up side-quests to help the city's residents from her — such as leading a group of Trubbish back to some trash cans.

Then there's Mabel, acting director of the Pokémon Research Lab, who will reward your Pokédex progress with items such as TMs.

As for the game's main story, it involves the seemingly-spontaneous Mega Evolution of local wild Pokémon, here dubbed as Rogue Mega Pokémon. You'll need to utilise your own Mega Pokémon to take them down, and you can also bring in help from another of your Team MZ allies to battle alongside you. But exactly what's going on here (I blame the Rust Syndicate), how the mysterious figure of AZ factors in, and what's going on with Zygarde are all questions for another day.

In the meantime, players have a few more months to speculate which other Pokémon will also receive Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends Z-A.

American Caper Is a New Crime Fiction Comic Series From the Mind of Grand Theft Auto's Dan Houser

22 juillet 2025 à 15:00

IGN can exclusively reveal Dark Horse and Absurd Ventures' American Caper, a new crime fiction comic series from the mind of Dan Houser, the co-founder of Rockstar Games and longtime head writer and creative director of the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption series.

The first issue of American Caper will be released on November 12, 2025, and the first arc of the series will consist of 12 issues. You can check out the trailer for American Caper below.

The official description below sheds more light on the story, which is set in Verona, Washington:

"American Caper is a tale of two totally normal, completely damaged families in a world of corrupt business, inept politics, bungling crime, leisure wear, and self-righteous justice," the synopsis reads. "We follow the fortunes of two neighbors who are on the point of collapse: a Mormon hitman and a gambling addict lawyer, both intertwined in a real estate deal gone wrong. Added to the mix are a Mexican beauty queen on the run from her past, two escaped convicts in love, a Wall Street billionaire who has become a cowboy, and a maniac hell-bent on revenge.

"From the tax avoiders in the manicured wilderness of Wyoming, to the thought police of Brooklyn, to the confused political battlegrounds of Florida, one thing is certain: this tragedy is someone else’s fault."

Houser said in a statement: American Caper is based on my lifelong fascination with hypocrites, sociopaths, political idiots, dysfunctional families, and violence. Dark, morally ambiguous, very vulgar and, we hope, funny, American Caper is a comic for the confusing world in which we live right now."

Houser won't be alone in bringing this "brutal crime fiction satire set against the backdrop of our current, hopelessly fractured, preposterous political nightmare" to life, as he will be joined by fellow Grand Theft Auto veteran Lazlow, who will be producing and contributing additional writing to American Caper.

The series will also be illustrated by Eisner Award-winning artist David Lapham (Stray Bullets, EC Epitaphs from the Abyss) with finishes by Chris Anderson (Creepshow, Lost Angels), colored by Lee Loughridge (Nemesis: Rogue’s Gallery, G.I. Here's the First Footage of Resident Evil 2: Dead Shot, a New Arcade Version of Capcom's Classic — and a Test Cabinet Is Available Now in the UK

22 juillet 2025 à 14:44

There's a new version of Resident Evil 2 made specifically for arcades, and an early version of it is already playable at Namco Funscape in the UK.

Resident Evil 2: Dead Shot, as this on-rails lightgun iteration is known, is the product of a collaboration between Bandai Namco and Capcom to create a fresh arcade iteration of the latter's survival horror classic.

IGN has visited Namco Funscape in Romford, north-east London, and gone hands-on with Resident Evil 2: Dead Shot ourselves — as you can see in our first footage above.

In it, we can see that Dead Shot has split Resident Evil 2's narrative into five episodes, with the first two already unlocked. It's believed that this arcade cabinet has been installed within Namco Funscape for testing, with early bugs ironed out after public play.

Dead Shot's first episode is its prologue, with a second episode titled "Hunted". Loading up the prologue, the game then introduces Resident Evil 2's setting to players: "Leon and Claire find one another on the streets of Raccoon City. Chased by zombies, they evacuate to the police department only to discover further horrors within."

As you select your episode, a zombified hand shatters through the screen, pulling you (and your co-op partner) in.

The opening section sees Leon and Claire fighting their way into the Raccoon City Police Department, past zombie cops and zombie dogs. The game's visuals appear to be based on Capcom's 2019 Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Once inside the building, the pair introduce themselves to each other before more zombie cops interrupt the party. Still, there's time for a little bit of exposition from just-about-still-alive cop Marvin Branagh, before the action continues.

As with other arcade lightgun games, you'll need to point the gun away from the screen and pull the trigger to reload. You'll automatically reload when you run out of bullets, but manual reloading is faster.

It's unclear how long Resident Evil 2: Dead Shot will remain playable at Namco Funscape, but if you're headed down in the near future look out for the neon red-lit cabinet with images of Leon, Claire and Ada Wong.

It's intriguing to see the Resident Evil series featuring Raccoon City here once again, ahead of the franchise's 30th anniversary next year, and the launch of Resident Evil: Requiem.

Capcom has teased that Requiem will see a return to the "overarching narrative" of Resident Evil begun 30 years ago, and an early trailer has already featured the reappearance of the RCPD — albeit after its later destruction in Resident Evil 3. (Fans are also certain Leon will appear, though for now, Capcom is keeping schtum.)

How to Redeem Brainrot Evolution Codes

To redeem Brainrot Revolution codes, boot up the game and, once you’re in, follow the steps below:

  1. After booting up the game, look on the left-hand side of the screen and you'll see a shop icon. It's represented by a red shopping basket.
  2. Click this icon to bring up the shop menu.
  3. On the right-hand side of the shop menu, you'll see an icon labelled "codes."
  4. Click it to be taken down to the codes bar.
  5. Type in your chosen code and then hit Verify to redeem your code.

Why Isn't My Brainrot Evolution Code Working?

If your Brainrot Evolution code isn’t working, it’s likely due to one of two scenarios. The first is that the Brainrot Evolution code was input incorrectly. Check the spelling and that the case is correct, then redeem again. You can even copy and paste the codes directly from this article over to Roblox if you want to make sure you’re inputting them correctly.

The other possibility is that the code has expired or you’ve already used it. In this scenario, you should see an error message pop up below the code bar informing you that the code has already been redeemed or is invalid.

How to Get More Brainrot Evolution Codes

If you're on the hunt for more Brainrot Evolution codes, you'll want to search several spots. The most common place to find new codes is the game's Discord server. The team posts new codes alongside every update, and you'll be able to find them in the announcements channel. Unique codes also crop up on the i2Perfect YouTube channel and xFrozen Studios' X account, so it's always worth checking both social media pages in case new codes have dropped there.

What is Brainrot Evolution in Roblox?

Brainrot Evolution is incredibly similar to xFrozen Studios' other popular Roblox evolution sim, Cabybara Evolution. You start out as a lowly Brainrot minion and must fight your way to evolve, growing to inhabit more powerful forms, including Bombardiro Crocodilo, Tralalero Tralala, and Chimpanzini Bananini. All the while, you'll be able to buff your character with purchasable pets, unlock gear with loot chests and take on towering bosses to cement yourself as the ultimate life form at the top of the Brainrot hierarchy.

Amazon Has Restocked a Ton of In-Demand Pokémon Card ETBs, Bundles & Boosters

22 juillet 2025 à 14:26

Despite the ongoing stock shortages throughout the Pokémon TCG community, retailers like Amazon have still been able to get stock of in-demand expansions like Destined Rivals, Black Bolt and White Flare, Paradox Rift, Temporal Forces, Surging Sparks, and Shrouded Fable.

The big caveat, however, is that while Amazon is hosting a variety of listings from different sellers, products from some sets are being sold well above their MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) due to higher marketing demand vs supply.

While this does deter standard scalpers and the coordinators of bot accounts, this has unfortunately inflated the expected prices of each set. Still, if you want to buy the latest Pokémon cards regardless of cost, here is the best of what Amazon has available for you right now.

White Flare & Black Bolt ETBs

Only released last week, the Elite Trainer Boxes for the Black Bolt & White Flare S&V expansions have been in hot demand most of all, but Amazon has listings for both ready to buy right now.

I previously found a deal on the Black Bolt ETB going for under $80, but those listings have been selling out awfully quick. For now, the White Flare ETB being sold for as low as $109.59 at the time of writing. Black Bolt Elite Trainer Boxes are still available, but the lowest is a higher $99.95.

Destined Rivals ETBs, Bundles & Boosters

The popular Destined Rivals expansion has also been just as elusive since launching in late May, but you can grab an ETB from Amazon for as low as $102.44 right now. That is a much higher price tag than its MSRP of $49.99, but eight-pack Booster Lots are alternatively available for $69.95, or six-pack Booster Bundles for $59.

If you just want to buy a pack or two, Destined Rivals Sleeve Boosters are available for as low as $11.89 each.

Charizard ex Super Premium Collection

“Super Premium” is a fitting title with the minimum $93 price tag, but any Charmander fan will get a kick out of this Charizard ex Collection. The 10 included booster packs are a random selection of different sets, but will guarantee promo cards of Charizard ex, Charmleon, and Charmander, and a cool-looking Charizard card display figure.

Paradox Rift ETB

At a still high (but not the most expensive) $94 for the cheapest Amazon listing, the Paradox Rift Elite Trainer Box will include a full-art foil promo card of Roaring Moon or Iron Valiant, along with nine Paradox Rift booster packs and all the usual bonus Pokémon TCG accessories

Twilight Masquerade ETB

Supposedly in more demand due to being a newer set compared to Paradox Rift, Amazon is selling the Twilight Masquerade Elite Trainer Boxes for $104.50 at the lowest. Along with the usual nine boosters respective to its set, the bonus full-art Pokémon card you’ll get this time is Teal Mask Ogerpon.

Cynthia’s Garchomp ex Premium Collection

Another mixture of different sets from $54.98, Cynthia’s Garchomp ex Premium Collection features a three-card trio; Cynthia’s Garchomp ex, Cynthia’s Gabite, and Cynthia’s Gible; along with six booster packs. The packs are an interesting assortment of three boosters of Paradox Rift, one of Journey Together, and two from Destined Rivals.

Journey Together Booster Bundle

Feeling slightly cheaper by comparison to Destined Rivals’ equivalent bundle, the six-pack Journey Together Booster Bundle has actually gone down in price to $44.90 from $59.99.

Charizard ex Special Collection

From $52.88, this second Charizard-based collection boasts its own full-art Charizard ex promo card, two more foil cards of Charmeleon and Charmander, and five TCG booster packs.

Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex Box

For those who want to bolster their Destined Rivals decks, this slightly cheaper set included Team Rocket’s Mewtwo (plus an oversized version), along with Team Rocket’s Meowth and Team Rocket’s Giovanni and bonus foil cards.

As for packs, you’ll get four boosters. At least two packs of Destined Rivals are shown in the product pictures, but we believe the actual variety to be randomised.

Paldea Legends Tin

For $39.89, the Paldea Legends Tin on Amazon will give you a random tin between those containing either Koraidon ex or Miraidon ex as a foil promo card. Then, alongside the code card for Pokemon TCG Live, like most of the other products on this list, you’ll get five booster packs.

Stacking Tins

You’ll get one of several random designs for the Stacking Tins as well, but for a cheaper $26.32. You only get three TCG booster packs, but also two Pokémon sticker sheets.

Shrouded Fable Mini Tin

Another Pokemon card restock with a sticker sheet, buying a Shrouded Fable Mini Tin guarantees you two Shrouded Fable booster packs, alongside a Pokemon art card showcasing each tin’s illustration.

Temporal Forces Sleeved Booster

Usually going for around $16, Amazon has Temporal Forces Boosters going for as little as $9.89 each at the time of writing. Each packs gives you 10 from its overall 218-card set.

Surging Sparks Sleeved Booster

Also still in demand since releasing in late 2024, Amazon has sleeved Surging Sparks Boosters to grab for $9.99 each. These also contain Pokémon 10 cards per pack from its 252-card set.

Monster Hunter Wilds Is Heating Up For Summer With Its Next Season Event — Here's What's New

22 juillet 2025 à 14:20

The new Monster Hunter Wilds update is almost here. From tomorrow, July 23, the Festival of Accord: Flamefete seasonal event kicks off, ushering in new quests and cosmetic gear, as well as special equipment earned from "event-exclusive login bonuses and event quests." It runs for two weeks.

The "majestically decorated" Grand Hub is all set for summer, as is your feathery friend, courtesy of the new Firebird Caparison Seikret Decoration. There's also special forgeable equipment up for grabs — use the tickets you earn throughout the event — as well as complimentary vouchers that can be used at the canteen.

Tickets can also be used to forge the Afi α armor set and Felyne Afi α Palico equipment. Equipping it will help you unlock even more bonus event rewards, such as additional tickets and Beach Barrel Bombs. You can also expect to see a new nameplate, background, and pose for your hunter profile, plus a tent customization item and camp gear options.

"You can have Alma try on the Summer Poncho outfit, Gemma try on the Summer Coveralls outfit, and Erik try on the Summer Hat outfit during the event!" Capcom teases. Oh, and did I mention the water gun? Yes. There's a water gun.

The Flamefete DLC pack includes summer-themed outfits, a special pendant, gesture, sticker set, and seikret decoration, all of which will be available at the store once the event goes live.

Earlier this month, Capcom said it had received requests to make time-limited Arch-tempered monsters permanently available to hunt, so it did, making the fights with Arch-tempered Rey Dau and Uth Duna permanent. They both arrive in Monster Hunter Wilds for a permanent stay on July 23.

Capcom has been gradually working to address feedback and issues players have with Monster Hunter Wilds, even as it's reportedly received harassment over the latest entry in the Monster Hunter series. This seems like a solid change, and a sign the team is listening, even as it continues to roll out pretty big additions like the new battle with Lagiacrus.
