Get a Cordless Rechargeable Electric Air Duster for Your PC Maintenance for $19.98 for Black Friday

18 novembre 2025 à 23:15

Maintaining a tidy desk area doesn't have to be labor intensive or expensive. Compressed air canisters used to be the standard but nowadays there is a more versatile and cost effective solution. Amazon is offering Amazon Prime members the JVSCAM Cordless Rechargeable Electric Air Duster (Air Blower) for just $19.98 after coupon code "U6C8Z5P7". This has become the best selling air duster on IGN because it's so cheap. Most electric air dusters under $50 on Amazon are pretty much identical, so I'd recommend just getting whichever one is least expensive.

JVSCAM Cordless Electric Air Duster for PC for $19.98

The JVSCAM cordless rechargeable electric air duster is a fairly straightforward device. An internal fan spins at up to 130,000RPM to move an appreciable amount of air. A nozzle funnels the air into a tight, high-velocity stream that's more than strong enough to kick up layers of dust that's been sitting on top of your computer components. It has three speed settings, although I would recommend keeping it at the max speed for optimal results. You also get four different sized nozzles, including a narrow funnel for tight spaces like the crevices in your keyboard and a wider nozzle for AoE damage.

The best thing about an electric duster as opposed to a compressed air canister is that it isn't disposable. The battery lasts long enough for your PC maintenance and then it can be recharged with a USB Type-C cable, which is included. Your uses aren't limited to dusting, either. I have a similar variant of this air duster that I use for all manner of cleaning, including cleaning my coffee grinder, drying my dog, blowing leaves, and killing spiders.

I've Found the Best Magic: The Gathering Gift Ideas That Aren’t Just Booster Packs

18 novembre 2025 à 23:00

Magic: The Gathering (MTG), the world's premier trading card game, is as popular as it's ever been. Aside from the cards themselves, longtime Magic players know that there are countless accessories and other goodies to enhance your experience.

With Black Friday coming up soon (November 28), I've compiled a list of great MTG gifts, from playmats and card sleeves to dice and merch, for that special Magic player in your life.

As a competitive player of 10+ years, these are products I've had and would buy for my personal use, so rest easy knowing that these suggestions aren't without extensive trial and error.

Top Magic: The Gathering Gifts

Magic has been around for over 30 years, but thanks to the recent crossover sets with other IPs, what Wizards of the Coast (WoTC) has dubbed Universes Beyond, its audience has grown monumentally. Properties like The Lord of the Rings, Fallout, Assassin's Creed, and more have all received the MTG treatment, with the Avatar: The Last Airbender set releasing next week as the next crossover. The next Universes Beyond crossover after the in-universe Lorwyn Eclipsed set is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Both of these upcoming sets are available to preorder.

Sealed Product

Magic: The Gathering sets are released every few months, and with them come various sealed products to help supplement your collection. You have booster boxes, collector boosters, starter kits, commander decks, the list goes on. I recommend starting with bundles of the most recently released sets, or looking back to expansions like Edge of Eternities. They make great gifts, as they include nine booster packs, an alternate-art promotional card, extra land cards, a spindown life counter, and the box itself is a great storage solution for extra cards.

Card Sleeves

You have all these fancy new cards, what are you supposed to put them in? Card sleeves are the perfect solution not only for protection but for easily shuffling. Ultimate Guard and Ultra PRO are some of the best MTG accessories brands around, but Dragon Shield sleeves are my go-to recommendation as a gift for dad. The Ultimate Guard Katana sleeves are great, too. The matte sleeves are crisp and feel great in your hands. No matter what you pick, make sure you get standard size sleeves, not Japanese card size -- Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are much smaller than Magic cards!

Deck Boxes

Your cards are now sleeved up and ready for battle. Now you need a reliable deck box. Here, you can't go wrong with Ultimate Guard's sturdy options. I'm a big fan of the Flip 'n' Tray myself, as it can hold a fully sleeved deck, sideboard, and tokens, along with a built-in dice compartment. For larger storage solutions, there are massive boxes that can hold up to 500 loose cards. All Ultimate Guard options come in a handful of different colors, and the Ultra PRO boxes sport some great official MTG art.

Playmats

Playmats are a must-have for any Magic player, since playing without one can make it hard to pick your cards up off the kitchen table. Usually made of the same material as a standard mousepad, many people (myself included) like to use mats featuring art of their favorite cards or of their proudest Magic accomplishments. You can even buy blank white playmats if you find yourself at a Magic Con and want to commission your favorite artist to make it look snazzy!

Dice and Counters

Keeping track of Planeswalker loyalty, +1/+1 counters, or Finality counters are a massive headache without an efficient way of doing so. Luckily, a set of D6 will set you right. Some more unique cards, like Qarsi Revenant, give other creatures ability counters that are hard to keep track of, so I highly recommend a set of ability counters to go along with your accessories arsenal.

Binders

If you have rare or valuable cards you don't want to store in a bulk storage box, binders are the way to go to keep them nice and pristine. You can get various sizes and colors from both Ultimate Guard and Ultra PRO, but the Zipfolio from Ultimate Guard is my go-to for expensive singles. These fit great in your backpack for when you're heading out to your local Friday Night Magic

Other Accessories

These suggestions are just scratching the surface of what these accessory makers have to offer. There are countless other sleeves, boxes, and mats to pick from, so pick your favorite Magic player's favorite for a great gift. Other accessories I recommend are lifepads; some Magic players prefer to write their life totals down and take notes instead of using the MTG Companion app or a spindown counter.

Dry erase tokens are great for cards with copy abilities. A playmat tube is a great storage solution to keep your mats dry and safe, and the Ultra PRO land station is a good way to sort your basic lands or have lands ready for your booster draft night.

Merch

Did you know that the IGN store has some awesome Magic: The Gathering merch? We have a handful of t-shirts, a crewneck sweater, and even a 17oz stainless steel water bottle for sale. These make great gifts if you aren't quite sure what cards, sets, or formats your favorite Magic player enjoys!

Twisted Metal Season 3 Gets the Green Light at Peacock as the PlayStation Series' Showrunner Departs

18 novembre 2025 à 22:20

Twisted Metal Season 3 has reportedly received the green light at Peacock but will return without its original showrunner.

An update for the future of PlayStation’s Twisted Metal TV adaptation comes from Variety, which says more episodes for the Anthony Mackie-starring series are on the way. A shakeup, however, means co-creator and showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith won’t be attached going forward.

It’s unclear why Smith is departing the video-game-to-live-action-show project. David Reed, known for his work as a writer for The Boys, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and The Magicians, will board as showrunner and an executive producer under an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television for Season 3 instead.

A Season 3 renewal for Twisted Metal arrives after the Season 2 premiere in July, as the show continues to bring in viewers. NBCUniversal states the 12-episode run has reached 993 million minutes viewed so far.

Twisted Metal began bringing iconic PlayStation characters to television screens when Season 1 premiered in 2023. It stars Mackie as John Doe, with characters like Calypso, Agent Stone, and Mr. Grimm played by Anthony Carrigan, Thomas Haden Church, and Richard de Klerk, respectively. There’s also, of course, franchise mascot Sweet Tooth, who is portrayed by Joe Seanoa and voiced by Will Arnett.

Twisted Metal is a franchise that has gone without a proper video game entry for 13 years, but that isn’t stopping Peacock from bringing its cartoonish vehicle combat to streaming audiences. Co-creators Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are back as executive producers for Season 3, with Arnett and Marc Forman also on board via Electric Ave. Mackie will return as an executive producer through Make It Gravy Productions, with Inspire Entertainment’s Jason Spire, Artists First’s Peter Principato, PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan, and Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Hermen Hulst also attached.

Details on how Twisted Metal Season 3 will continue the story remain a mystery, with release date plans and casting details also under wraps. In the meantime, you can read why we think Season 2 deserved a 7/10 in our review. You can also read about the canceled Twisted Metal game that was revealed earlier this year.

Megabonk Developer Withdraws Game From The Game Awards, Saying It Doesn't Qualify for Debut Indie

18 novembre 2025 à 22:17

Vedinad, developer of Megabonk, has withdrawn his game from The Game Awards following its nomination for Best Debut Indie Game, saying it doesn't qualify for the category.

In a post to Twitter/X from the official Megabonk account, vedinad made the announcement today:

"I'm withdrawing from The Game Awards.

"It's an honor and a dream for Megabonk to be nominated for TGA, but unfortunately i don't think it qualifies for the category 'Debut Indie Game'

"I've made games in the past under different studio names, so Megabonk is not my debut game 🥸

"i really appreciate the nomination, support and votes, but it doesn't feel right in this category. you should vote for another one of the amazing debut titles, they are all amazing games!

"thanks again! new megabonk update coming soon ✌️"

Update 2.23pm PT: Megabonk was listed as a nominee under Best Debut Indie, along with Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Despelote, and Dispatch. Since this statement, The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley has shared a statement of his own acknowledging the request and stating that Megabonk would be removed in a Twitter/X post. At the time of this update, Megabonk was still listed on The Game Awards website as a nominee.

"@MegabonkGame, a nominee for Best Debut Indie Game, reached out to clarify that he is an established solo developer who had been presenting himself as a new creator under the name Vedinad.

"We’re grateful for his honesty. As a result, MegaBonk will be removed from the category.

"He’ll share more about his story when he’s ready, but we respect that he didn’t want to take recognition away from other debut teams — even though the game itself is outstanding."

Original story continues below:

Critically, Best Debut Indie is awarded to the "best debut game created by a new independent studio." So what counts as a new, independent studio? This definition certainly can get a little fuzzy - game dev teams are often Ships of Theseus, with certain groups sticking together, hiring others, and rebranding. For instance, Dispatch was made by AdHoc Studio, and is the team's collective first original game. However, AdHoc was founded by a team of former Ubisoft and Telltale developers who had previously been working together. Cocoon, by Geometric Interactive, won Debut Indie back in 2023 and was arguably in a similar situation with former developers from Playdead. But by that logic, it's also unlikely anyone's "first game" would ever make it to The Game Awards, as most people's first projects are small, student, or experimental.

Vedinad's argument at least makes a bit more sense for himself, given that he is effectively a solo developer and has worked on other projects under other names. But even solo developers have help: Miguel Angel, for instance, is credited with the OST, Giovanni Fim made the Steam art, and there are a handful of names listed as playtesters, as well as a "special thanks" to vedinad's mom. Vedinad seems to be as close to a solo dev as anyone really gets. What really is a game studio, anyway?

What this ultimately seems to boil down to is that there's at least some level of confusion about what the categories of The Game Awards actually mean. This isn't the first time this has happened. In 2023, Dave the Diver - a game made by a subsidiary of Korean gaming giant Nexon - was up for Best Indie, leading TGA creator Geoff Keighley to respond that indie can "mean different things to different people," and even the director admitted the nomination was confusing. We've also seen some oddities like Sifu being up for Best Fighting Game in 2022 (it's an action beat-em-up), and even some recent eyebrow raisers like Monster Hunter Wilds being nominated this year for best RPG.

Define it all however you want, but Megabonk's developer has spoken, as has Keighley. You can catch up on all the other 2025 nominees right here, and check out our early thoughts on Megabonk here.

Deals for Today: The Best Early Black Friday Discounts and Restocks on Pokémon TCG and MTG

18 novembre 2025 à 22:15

It's a trading card game kind of day today, with deals so good that I couldn't help but focus in on them. Specifically, I'm talking about Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Air Bender. Not only are there some exciting restocks, but the potential savings today are literally ridiculous.

TL;DR: Deals for Today

Collector Booster Boxes for Avatar have been restocked at Amazon, with Phastasmal Flames and Mega Evolution restocks coming in heavy too. I've included where's the best to buy at face value alone in today's article, but the heavy hitting discounts on Amazon come from applying for an Amazon Visa card and using AMEX or Discover to pay $1 on your order to get over 50% off.

This means free Booster Bundles, Blisters, Premium Collections and Boosters with just the gift card alone. But when considering Booster Boxes, such as Phantasmal Flames or Avatar Collector Booster Box, you'll halve the price left to pay. Let's get into it and i'll guide you through exactly how to do it.

Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Collector Booster Box

Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the best things Nickelodeon put out when I was a kid, and it's fandom still beats strong. This Universes Beyond MTG set hasn't only got me back into Avatar, but it's got me on MTG Arena to learn the game, not just collect it when I can. Collector Boosters aren't for playing, it's for those who want some solid binder material with far better pull rates than standard play boosters. There's a premium for that of course, but Amazon won't charge until it ships, which means you'll probably have a day or two to get the money you need together.

Up to 50% off Pokémon TCG and Free $60 Gift Card

Imagine getting Pokémon TCG Booster Bundles for free, or paying $20 to $30 for an Elite Trainer Box, cool right? Well it's a real deal, and here's how to do it. Start by applying for a Amazon Visa card, then if accepted you'll get an instant $60 Amazon gift card added to your account, which means free Booster Bundles, Premium Collections and Booster Blisters.

If you're after something more expensive and want to knock the price down before using the $60 gift voucher, you'll need an AMEX or Discovery card. By paying $1 on your Pokémon TCG items in your basket, you'll receive an automatic discount up to 50%. So whatever you need to pay after the gift card is cut in half. That's not bad when you're talking Elite Trainer Boxes and Booster Boxes. If this discount doesn't apply, check the loyalty page on Amazon to see if you're eligible.

TCGPlayer 10% Cashback Black Friday Event

You read that right, everything is eligibe too. Buy something, get 10% back as in-store credit. With sets like Mega Evolution and Phantasmal Flames finding new floors, this is 100% the best time to fill those gaps in your binder. The sale kicks off on Black Friday, November 28. and ends on Cyber Monday December 1.

Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra Resin 3D Printer Deals

The Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra line of Resin printers are perfect for anything that needs intricate detail, especially the 16k model, although the standard ultra does an amazing job too. The Saturn 4 Ultra and Mercury V3.0 wash is a perfect starter kit for anyone wanting to get into the hobby.

Elegoo FDM Printer Deals

What if I said I printed a full sized Stormtrooper helmet on a Neptune 4 Max in one go? It was such a fun project and this printer can handle some insane projects on the large and small side. In fact all of these FDM 3D printers are great for printing anything practical. I'm looking at you cosplayers.

Meta Quest 3S 128GB (Gorilla Tag Bundle)

$50 off a Quest 3S isn't a bad deal to say the least, and you also get the "Cardboard Hero: Gorilla Tag" game bundled alongside a three month trial to Meta Quest Horizon+, which means free access to over 40 games. You can also upgrade to the 256GB version and get Batman: Arkham Shadow bundled in instead for $329 instead of $399.99. Now that's an early Black Friday deal.

TMNT: The Last Ronin Box Set

This set contains three hardcover graphics novels encompassing the TMNT: The Last Ronin continuity. That includes "Lost Years", "The Last Ronin", and "The Last Ronin II: Re-Evolution". I won't spoil them for you, but this is one of the best series i've ever read, and I'm not a massive TMNT fan. And you won't be charged for your preorder until this bad boy ships. Not a bad deal at all with that cheeky 25% off.

Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition

For Final Fantasy fans who haven't played the 2D old school games, or for those who are fans of the sprite-based RPG vibe, this is the deal for you. It features a re-arranged soundtrack by original series c omposer Nobuo Uematsu, improved gamplay, a user interface overhaul, auto battle options and more quality of life improvements. 47% off makes this collection a no-brainer.

New 4K UHD Movies Drop to $12.99 for the First Time in 2025 and Amazon Can't Match the Price

18 novembre 2025 à 21:55

It’s Black Friday season, which means I am checking Amazon deals on the daily (partially because it’s my job). Today, I noticed some of the biggest 4K releases from 2025 were on sale for particularly low prices. Then I realized they were all specifically releases from good ol’ Warner Bros.

By going straight to the source, namely the official retailer for Studio Distribution Services, Gruv.com, I found the same releases and more for just $12.99 each. This pricing is significantly lower than Amazon and thus where you’ll find the real all-time lows across the board.

Tons of 4Ks Drop to $12.99 at Gruv

If you’re not interested in shelling out for 4K UHD quality, Gruv is also discounting Blu-rays to $9.99 and standard DVDs to $7.99. On the other end of the financial spectrum, limited edition 4K steelbooks (that are often sold out at major retailers) have their own spread of discounts. The deals only apply to existing releases, so unfortunately no savings on preorders like One Battle After Another.

On the plus side, all of these deals are in addition to an ongoing ‘3 for $30’ sale on select titles. All in all, I’d recommend some solid scrolling time. The only catch is these are limited time deals with no specific end date, so you unfortunately have to play a little bit of chicken when deciding how long to wait until checking out. At least there’s free shipping.

In terms of what specifically is available, we might as well start at the top with Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. IGN’s 9/10 review of the movie says Coogler “enters the horror realm and nails it in Sinners, which drops vampires into a deeply personal, heartfelt, emotional, sexy, and bloody story that’ll stick with you.” The music also rocks, and naturally there’s an entire bonus feature dedicated to it. Amazon’s ‘all-time low’ pricing has only dropped the 4K down to $23.49, almost double what you can grab it for at Gruv.

Another 2025 standout is James Gunn’s Superman, the first movie in the DC Studios reboot that made kindness cool again. Just looking at David Corenswet on the cover brings me hope.

While not exactly a critical success, A Minecraft Movie paved the way for a new batch of memes and could make a great gift for any dedicated crafter. The special features here include a 14-minute feature on the cast themselves and the Minecraft server they played on together while filming.

What Is Gruv?

Gruv is a physical media retailer owned by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. It serves as the retail arm for Studio Distribution Services, a joint venture between Universal and Warner Bros that has slowly but surely expanded its licensing to include Shout Factory, Paramount, and more.

More Black Friday Deals for Movie Collectors

In case you somehow weren’t already aware, one of the best movie sales is also live: the entire Criterion Collection is 50% off at Barnes & Noble through the end of the month. As we get closer to Black Friday itself, expect more deals from Amazon and Walmart.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Earbuds Review – Still Some of the Best

18 novembre 2025 à 21:51

The $299 price tag on the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 earbuds demands top-tier audio, comfort, customization, and longevity, and if you're spending this much on earbuds, you’ll want them to last for years and years. Sennheiser's excellent track record and the buds' specs sheet – including support for high-quality Bluetooth codecs such as aptX Lossless and LC3 – promise a treat for your ears. So do they live up to that promise?

Although they’re not quite perfect, the short answer is yes: they're some of the best, and best-looking, earbuds you can buy, up there with the similarly priced Sony WF1000XM5. And given they're several years old, you can sometimes get them at a discount.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 – Design and Battery Life

Starting with the packaging, this is by far the most luxurious earbuds case I've held. The colour of the fabric matches your choice of earbuds, with five options. I think the copper variant I reviewed is my favourite: it's understated and classy. Everyone wanted to feel the case whenever I put the buds on or off around friends.

The hardy fabric showed no scuffs or scratches after a week of bouncing around in my jeans pocket and in my bag, and was no worse off after a few drops. Long-term users say it holds up well and that you needn't worry about fraying threads. It is on the chunkier side and it sticks out in my pocket more so than any of the buds I've tested, which bothers me. It's not a dealbreaker, but just know that everyone will be able to see the outline of the case.

The buds themselves look nearly as handsome as the case. The brushed metallic exterior isn't too shiny, and the indented Sennheiser logo lends a lovely texture. This is where you'll be touching to control the buds, and it recognised all my taps perfectly. I'm less keen on the placement of the external microphone holes, which sullies the clean finish.

The buds are chunkier than competitors, which means they extrude from your ear more, but it didn't feel excessive even as somebody with smaller ears. The extra layers on the bud – the metallic exterior, a rubber protector, the main body and stem of the bud, and the ear tip – creates plenty of crevices for grime to accumulate, although it was easy to clean.

The tips felt comfortable to wear for hours at a time at home or at the gym. You get a variety of sizes and the accompanying app – which I'll explore more later – includes a "fit test" to help you pick the right size. It's a useful extra that most buds don't have. The IP54 rating, indicating the level of dust and water resistance, means that rain and sweat won't damage these buds. The ear tips also have a mesh at their base, protecting the headphones from any dust or earwax falling inside: again, it's something that a lot of buds don't have.

And the long battery life enables extended listening sessions. You'll get between 7 and 8 hours on a single charge (although less with noise cancelling, custom EQs, and other funky features that I'll talk about later) and 30 hours total if you keep putting them back in the charging case when they run out. That single-charge life is a smidge less than Sony's best, but the total charge, including the case, is longer; both of which are excellent. They support fast Qi wireless charging and you can also turn on "battery protection mode" to charge the buds slower and stop them reaching 100%, prolonging their long-term life. Most smartphones now have a similar feature but it's rare on earbuds: another bonus.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 – Sound Quality

They look good – but how do they sound? Lovely, thankfully. Smooth and balanced. I listened to music in plenty of genres, different podcasts, watched TV shows and even played games (which I'll talk about in a moment). Everything felt like an easy, pleasant listen, with no noticeable distortion and no artificial boosting.

Vocals felt balanced with background music to surround me when watching films, and voices sounded particularly rich. I enjoyed the "podcast mode", which enhanced the clarity and timbre of voices, and made it sound like I was listening in the studio. I like that the EQs presets are relatively gentle, too. Sometimes EQ presets blow up certain aspects of the audio, but listening to Jay Z's The Black Album sounded good on pretty much every setting.

You can enable "sound personalization", with a quick test on the app to adjust the balance of bass and strings to suit your ears, although I must admit I found it quite confusing, and didn't feel like it improved the sound. You do get a little less punch and clarity than with the Sony WF1000XM5 buds. Sony's earbuds are particularly precise and bassy, so you can really feel the music: Sennheiser's are, I'd argue, gentler and more well-rounded. Neither is obviously better – they're both great out of the box, and it's just what you prefer. If you want a bit more bite, you can always create a custom EQ on the app or toggle "bass boost" for some more oomph without distorting your sound.

You get rich audio, a handsome case, long battery life and extra features you won't find on many other buds.

They support a variety of hi-res and lossless audio codecs, including aptX Lossless and LC3. You'll obviously need to stream from a program that supports those codecs (the base Spotify subscription doesn't cover it, for example), and even when you do, you might not even notice a difference in audio quality. But it does feel good knowing you have buds that can do it all, and ones that are future proof for emerging tech over the next few years.

On the gaming front, the buds' Bluetooth latency won't stand up to a wired gaming headset or a dedicated low-latency gaming earbud like the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds, but I found them to be better than other non-gaming earbuds I've tried. They have a specific "low latency" audio mode designed for gaming, which you can use on your phone or on your PC. The PC connection is a bit fiddly: you first have to connect to both your phone and PC at the same time (these buds can support two devices at once with zero issue), then toggle on low latency on the phone app, and stay connected to your phone as you play, because there's no dedicated Windows software.

There is still a slight delay from screen to ear but it's barely noticeable. I played a lot of Arc Raiders with them, and I felt completely consumed by its soundscape. With these buds, I could tell what was happening around me, and what direction footsteps were coming from. Microphone quality is the one big letdowns of these buds: the volume is fine but your voice will sound a little fuzzy and unclear, which is disappointing.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 – Noise Cancellation and Transparency

These Sennheiser buds have adaptive noise cancellation by default, so you can't manually change the level of it. Some adaptive systems can be jumpy, and often fail to hit max noise cancelling, but there are no such problems here. I didn't actually notice any of the adjustments happening in real time and it cut out the loudest noises when it needed to.

The amount of noise cancellation isn't anything special, and I'd say it's not quite as powerful as the high-end Sony buds. It did everything I wanted, cutting out background noise at the gym and reducing the noise of the London Underground between stops, but it was no more impressive than the mid-range OnePlus Buds 4 I reviewed in September. The screechiest part of the Underground line still came through loud and clear.

The Transparency mode is impressive, mostly because you get more options than with most buds. You can pick between five levels of transparency, and you can decide to turn it on or off in phone calls. That level of customisation is useful: sometimes, you only want a bit of transparency – for example, so I can hear my wife calling from another room – and sometimes you want a lot, say, if we're in the same room. The highest transparency does produce a noticeable background hiss, which is annoying but expected. The trade-off for clearly hearing things going on around you is worth it, and most of the time you won't need to crank it to max.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 – Software and Customisation

All the settings for the True Wireless 4 earbuds come in Sennheiser's SmartControlPlus app. It's crammed with options you won't find on other buds. I've talked about some of them already: bass boost, podcast mode, battery protection mode and the fit test are all here. But you can also set Sound Zones, which apply specific settings when you arrive at or leave a location. It's a neat trick that means you can, for example, turn on noise cancellation by default when you reach the gym.

The app can be a little confusing because some of the settings are under the "my device" tab, while some come under the "settings" tab. That distinction, I'd argue, is illogical. But once you get used to finding what you need the app is easy to navigate, cleanly laid out, and works reliably. I particularly liked the detailed customisation of the touch controls. You have the freedom to set commands for single, double, and triple taps individually on the left and right buds. I would've liked a desktop app too, so I could change settings directly on my PC, but sadly that's not an option with these buds.

The Alienware Black Friday Sale Starts Early with Some Amazing Deals on Gaming PCs and Laptops

18 novembre 2025 à 21:15

The Dell Black Friday Sale kicks off early this year with some outstanding deals on Alienware gaming PCs, gaming laptops, and gaming monitors. This is an excellent opportunity to upgrade your gaming PC so that you can play recently released games like Battlefield 6 or Ghost of Yotei in glorious 4k with buttery smooth framerates. Several of these deals are the lowest prices I've seen all year long, including some huge discounts on "Like New" models from Dell Outlet.

Alienware Early Black Friday Gaming Laptop Deals

Alienware Outlet Early Black Friday Deals

You can quickly browse through all of the listed products on sale above. See below for our favorite picks.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5080 Gaming PC

Ahead of Black Friday, Dell just launched one of the best deals I've seen this year on a generously equipped Alienware Aurora R16 GeForce RTX 5080 gaming PC. It's normally listed at $3,199.99, but a $900 off discount drops it to just $2,299.99 with free shipping. Although I've seen other less expensive Alienware RTX 5080 systems in the past, this is a better deal because it features an upgraded Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and double the memory and storage capacities for just a slightly higher cost. The Alienware brand itself also normally commands a higher price point, but this Black Friday deal is extremely reasonable compared to similarly equipped prebuilts from other brands.

Alienware Area-51 RTX 5090 & 5080 Gaming PC

If you're seeking the absolute best of the best in PC gaming performance, look no further. Alienware has just dropped the price of its flagship prebuilt gaming PC equipped with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card for just $4,299.99 with free shipping. This is the lowest price I've seen for an Alienware 5090 gaming PC and it has been upgraded with an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, double the storage capacity, and 360mm all-in-one liquid cooling. The price is actually competitive compared to other boutique PC builders. The Alienware Area-51 is also on sale for the lowest price I've seen this year.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PC

Of the new GeForce cards, the RTX 5070 Ti is considered the best bang for your buck for 4K gaming. It performs neck-and-neck with the RTX 4080 Super (and better in games that support DLSS 4), which means it is capable of high framerates in all games, even at 4K resolution. It also has the same amount of VRAM as the RTX 5080, making it a more economical alternative to the 5080 for AI work. Check out our Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070 Ti GPU review.

Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 5060 Ti Gaming PC

The RTX 5060 Ti is the successor to the RTX 4060 Ti and delievers a roughly 15%-20% improvement in games. That's a better generational uplift than the RTX 5070 (over the RTX 4070). This is absolutely the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming from a value perspective and much more future-proof than an RTX 5060 (non-Ti) gaming PC.

Alienware Aurora 16 and 16X Gaming Laptops

Alienware's new mainstream gaming laptop for 2025 is dubbed the "Alienware Aurora" and it replaces the previous generation's x16 and m16 series of laptops. It comes in two models: the 16 and 16X. The 16 is the more economical model, but gamers should definitely opt for the higher-end 16X model. If you're looking for build quality and performance on par with the previous generation m16, then the 16X is its spiritual successor. It features an anodized aluminum lid and base, a higher quality display, a more powerful CPU, and a GPU that isn't throttled for maximum gaming performance.

Alienware Area-51 Gaming Laptops

New for 2025, the Alienware Area-51 gaming laptop features an anodized aluminum shell for both the lid and bottom chassis with a gorgeous iridescent finish. The frame is made of a durable and lightweight magnesium alloy. Cooling has been upgraded with generous amounts of copper and a new thermal interface material to better transfer heat away from your hottest components as well as more fans and bigger cutouts for greater airflow. Dell claims that the laptop can handle a higher power ceiling of up to 240W TDP without raising acoustics.

Design-wise, the Area 51 has a sleeker, more contoured shape compared to previous models, with rounded edges and soft corners replacing the traditional squared off design. The hinges are internally positioned so that they're near invisible. There's a transparent window on the undercarriage to show off the internal components. As befits an Alienware laptop, there's plenty of RGB illunimation, although most of it can be turned off if you want your laptop to be a bit more subtle.

"Like New" Alienware Area-51 Gaming Laptops at Dell Outlet

The Alienware Area-51 is Dell's best and boldest lineup of gaming laptops for 2025 and they've just dropped to the lowest prices I've seen for Black Friday. Dell Outlet typically stocks "Like New" Alienware 16 Area-51 gaming laptops at anywhere between 10%-35% off retail price. However, for Black Friday, there's an additional 18% discount that's automatically applied in your shopping cart. Configurations include RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and even RTX 5090 GPUs. Note that "Like New" models are certified refurbished and include the same 1 year warranty as buying new.

GameStop Reveals Its Black Friday Ad for 2025 Alongside Early Deals

18 novembre 2025 à 21:14

GameStop isn't nearly as prominent as it used to be, but it's still a great place to find video game deals during the holiday season. If you're wondering what the gaming retailer has in store for Black Friday, you can already check out the GameStop Black friday ad for all of the details. There's also currently an early sale on video games, accessories, and more that runs from now until November 22.

Early GameStop Black Friday Sale

The early GameStop Black Friday sale consists of a mix of video game deals, some discounted accessories, and a bunch of toys and merch. The most prominent deals featured on the website are the $20 or less section. The overall selection here isn't all that impressive, but there are a few good discounts on PS5 games like Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Hellboy: Web of Weird. If you move up to the "Under $30" section you'll find a few more decent deals like NBA 2K26 for $30 and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for $30 as well. There are very few Xbox games featured in either of the video games sales, so the most of the discounts are centered on PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

Outside of the video game sales GameStop is offering the same discount on Meta Quest headsets you can currently find at Amazon or Best Buy as well. There's also a $30 discount on the new Backbone Pro that is worth a look if you're in the market for a high-end mobile controller.

GameStop Black Friday Ad

GameStop's early Black Friday sale is only part of its larger Black Friday ad for 2025. It features a mix of discounts we already know about from Nintendo's Black Friday sale announcement earlier this month as well as the more recent PlayStation sale announcement. To check out the full ad, I'd recommend just flipping through this handy ad scan from the Black Friday subreddit.

The Nintendo Switch deals are what we already expected to see. Most notably there's a significant lack of Switch 2 games or console deals available at all. Nintendo has gone ahead and ditched the usual Black Friday Switch + Mario Kart bundle and is only planning on offering discounts on older games and amiibo. The GameStop ad does have a prominent Switch 2 page, but it doesn't mention any discounts whatsoever.

Outside of the early deals on Borderland 4 and NBA 2K26, there are some notable video game deals starting on Thursday when the Best Buy and Amazon Black Friday sales go live. This includes Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 for $50 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for $30.

Following that, most of the PlayStation deals are set to begin on Friday, November 21 when PlayStation officially kicks off its sale. This will include a $20 discount on the PlayStation Portal and all of the DualSense colors for under $60. You can see the full breakdown of the PlayStation Black Friday deals directly from the PlayStation Blog.

As of right now there's no sign whatsoever of Black Friday Xbox deals at GameStop or anywhere else. With Xbox raising its prices multiple times this year, it's unclear if we'll see any discounts from Microsoft or major retailers in 2025.

Black Friday Humble Choice Deal Saves $30 Off 1 Year

18 novembre 2025 à 20:26

Here’s an excellent deal for PC gamers. Between now and December 1, you can save $30 off a one-year subscription to Humble Choice. All you have to do is enter HOLIDAY25IGN at checkout, and you’ll knock the price down to $124.99. That’s an excellent deal, considering it gets you a monthly bundle of 8 PC games (via Steam codes) that you can download and keep forever.

Humble Choice Black Friday Deal

So what does Humble Choice get you, exactly? The first Tuesday of each month, you’ll get a new curated selection of eight Steam games. These generally offer a healthy range in terms of genre, size, and scope, but there are always a few AAA games and a few indies in there. The games are yours to keep and play forever, regardless of whether you cancel your membership at some point down the road.

In addition to a monthly bundle of games, you get up to 20% off games on the Humble Store, including new releases. You also get access to a vault of games you can play for as long as you’re a member. And 5% of your membership goes to charity. The particular charity changes each month, but you can always read up on them.

The November’s Humble Choice games include Total War Warhammer III, Another Crab’s Treasure, and Etrian Odyssey HD. Based on MSRP, it’s $254 worth of games, all for $14.99 for one month. But if you take advantage of the deal above, it comes to $10.42 per month. That $254 is right about the normal range for what each month’s bundle is worth. So, over the course of the year, this deal gets you over $3,000 worth of games for $124.99.

Humble Choice Games for November 2025

If you sign up now, the first bundle of games you'll get contains the following (blurbs from Humble's press release).

  • Total War Warhammer III: A grand-scale strategy game where fantasy armies battle daemonic forces in the Realm of Chaos.
  • Another Crab's Treasure: A Soulslike adventure where a hermit crab fights enemies using trash as makeshift shells.
  • Pharaoh: A New Era: A 4K remake of the classic city-builder where you manage resources, appease gods, and build magnificent monuments in Ancient Egypt.
  • Etrian Odyssey HD: A first-person dungeon crawler focused on creating a party and mapping a dangerous labyrinth.
  • No More Heroes 3: A stylish hack-and-slash game where an assassin fights alien superheroes in over-the-top battles.
  • Synergy: A sci-fi city-builder about building a sustainable human settlement on a harsh alien planet.
  • Spin Hero: A roguelike RPG where combat and progression are determined by spinning a slot machine.
  • Paleo Pines: A cozy farming sim where you run a ranch, explore an island, and befriend dinosaurs.

The Best Dell & Alienware Deals and Coupons: Gaming Laptops, PCs, Monitors, and More

18 novembre 2025 à 20:20

Not everyone is the DIY type. If you're in the market for a prebuilt gaming PC, Dell is one of the best brands we'd recommend. Alienware desktops and laptops feature solid build quality, top-of-the-line gaming performance, excellent cooling (further improved on the newer models), aggressive styling, and pricing that is very competitive with other pre-built options. Best of all, there are plenty of sales that happen throughout the year, so it's not difficult to grab one of these computers at considerably less than their retail price.

Sony Is Knocking $100 Off PS5 Consoles for Black Friday 2025

18 novembre 2025 à 20:00

PlayStation's Black Friday deals have been officially announced, and the standout deals include a $100 discount on all PS5 consoles that kicks off on November 21.

There's also a pair of Fortnite bundles that undercut the console's usual MSRP pricing by a wide margin, effectively having the Black Friday discount baked in.

The brand new PS5 825GB Digital Edition Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle drops at $399.99, while the 1TB PS5 Fortnite bundle lands at $449.99.

Both ship with PlayStation-exclusive Fortnite cosmetics and 1,000 V Bucks included.

Sony's price drop also applies to all other PS5 configurations, including the PS5 Pro, which will drop to $649.99 in the US ($100 off) and £609.99 in the UK (£90 off).

These cuts come only a few months after Sony raised PS5 prices by $50, which makes this Black Friday promotion feel somewhat like a course correction.

Sony is also running wider Black Friday offers as well, including $100 off accessories like the PlayStation VR2 and various headsets, earbuds, and controllers, dropping around 20 to 30 bucks as well, and there will up to 60% off digital games.

As mentioned, these deals start on November 21 and will run through December 1, so if you’ve been holding off on a PS5 upgrade, this is the moment Sony clearly wants you to bite.

PS5 Early Black Friday Deals

There are already a handful of PS5 games that have been discounted in the run up to Black Friday.

For now, you can pick up Borderlands 4 for $47.99, alongside Final Fantasy's 1-6 Pixel Collection for $39.99, its lowest price ever, EA Sports FC 26 for $34.99, Battlefield 6 for $62.95, and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake for $34.99.
