Prior to Computex, Nvidia invited members of the media to a briefing on upcoming announcements for gaming and AI. We've already gone over the RTX 5060 launch today, so now our attention turns towards Nvidia's latest AI software updates. 

The Nvidia AI PC software stack now covers over 750 games and applications, making use of RTX GPUs' accelerating hardware. For instance, TensorRT still provides best-in-class AI performance with gains of up to 2x compared to DirectML. TensorRT for RTX will be available to developers in June, offering an optimised inference backend for PCs running AI applications.

The new NIM for RTX container will further aid development efforts, with pre-packaged generative AI models, optimised for TensorRT. NIMs and AI blueprints will be available to download via Nvidia's own website, as well as through partners.

Project G-Assist also continues to grow. This is Nvidia's locally-run AI digital assistant for PCs. Through new plugins, users can now use G-Assist in conjunction with popular apps like Discord, Twitch and Spotify, as well as more professional apps like IFTTT, Gemini, SignalRGB and penRGB.

The tools for developers to build their own plugins are now publicly available, so we should see even more functionality added to G-Assist over time.

A new examination of Apple partner TSMC's Arizona facility shines a spotlight on how the U.S. bet on domestic chipmaking is colliding with labor shortages, cost overruns, and global dependencies.


Just outside Phoenix, a sleek, high-security facility is taking shape. Known as Fab 21, the site is operated by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and will soon be one of the most advanced chipmaking facilities in the world.

The microscopic transistors produced here will power Apple devices, artificial intelligence systems and critical infrastructure, representing a significant shift of advanced technology manufacturing to American soil.

The Borderlands franchise continues to be a sales powerhouse in the looter-shooter genre. According to Take-Two Interactive's latest financial report, the series has sold approximately 93 million copies since its inception in 2009. However, it's far from being its most successful series, with GTA, NBA 2K, and Red Dead Redemption already exceeding 100M since their inception.

Starting with Borderlands, Borderlands 2 remains the series' best-seller, having moved over 30 million units since its 2012 debut. Borderlands 3 is positioned as ‘2K's fastest-selling title', surpassing 22 million units sold since its 2019 release. Beyond the main sequels, spin-offs like Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands have expanded the franchise's reach, even if at the same level as Borderlands 2 and 3.

With the next main instalment, Borderlands 4, just a few months away, the series' sales figure will surely increase. The game is expected to propel the franchise above the 100 million sales mark, putting it at the same level as the Red Dead Redemption series. However, the Red Dead Redemption series only has two entries, with Red Dead Redemption alone being able to sell over 74 million units.

The Grand Theft Auto series is still (and should maintain for the foreseeable future) Take-Two's best-selling franchise, with almost 450 million units sold, up from 440 million in the previous quarter. Grand Theft Auto V alone has sold over 215 million units, 5 million more than last quarter. As for the NBA 2K series, it has sold over 160 million units globally, an increase from over 155 million. Lastly, Sid Meier's Civilisation series has sold over 76 million units, up from over 73 million.

Apple's constant legal wrangling has caused a lot of work for its lawyers, just like many other tech giants. However, big tech legal battles are now so massive and important to the company's bottom line that new legal tactics need to be employed.

In a profile of how the major courtroom fights have played out, The Wall Street Journal alleges that the legal teams of big tech outfits are enabling the companies to hide evidence. Or at the very least, delay handing over requested documents until the last possible moment.

At Computex this week, Intel is showcasing two new graphics cards – the Intel Arc Pro B50 and Arc Pro B60, designed for professional workstations, rather than gaming PCs. Intel is also furthering its push in AI with the new Gaudi 3 accelerator and the new Intel AI Assistant Builder.

Starting off with new graphics cards, Intel has expanded its Arc Pro graphics card line-up with the new B50 and B60 GPUs. These are the latest GPUs based on Inte's Arc Battlemage architecture, as well as Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) AI cores and Ray Tracing units to accelerate intensive visual and AI workloads.

The GPUs are optimised for architecture, engineering, construction and inference workstations, offering stability and performance through a wide range of independent software vendor (ISV) certifications and optimized software. The Intel Arc Pro B-Series GPUs are compatible with consumer and pro drivers on Windows. On Linux, the GPUs support a containerized software stack to simplify AI deployments, and will be progressively upgraded with features and optimisations.

The Intel Arc Pro B60 GPU will be sampling from add-in board partners including ASRock, Gunnir, Lanner, Maxsun, Onix, Senao and Sparkle starting in June 2025. The Intel Arc Pro B50 GPU will be available from Intel-authorized resellers starting in July 2025.

Moving more into the topic of AI, Intel has launched the Gaudi 3 AI accelerator. These PCIe cards support scalable AI inferencing within existing data center environments. Customers can expect Gaudi 3 to provide a use when running AI models like Llama, and Maverick. These PCIe cards will be available starting in the second half of this year. The rack-scale version supports up to 64 accelerators per rack and offers up to 8.2TB of high-bandwidth memory. The racks are designed with liquid cooling in mind too for those seeking the highest performance possible.

The final thing on Intel's Computex list is the AI Assistant Builder. This lightweight, open source software framework is now available, allowing developers to create custom AI assistants that run locally. The public beta release is now available through GitHub, and systems from the likes of Acer and Asus will be demonstrating examples at Computex.

KitGuru Says: Unfortunately the rumoured high-end ‘Battlemage' gaming GPU was a no show here. However, Battlemage is expanding in other areas as Intel looks to take a larger piece of the AI enterprise market.

Changes to the iPhone keyboard and the Apple Pencil in iOS 19 at WWDC 25 could help boost Apple's sales in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, by improving how its tools work with Arabic.


Apple has included extensive language support in its operating systems, which it has worked to improve over time. In one set of alleged changes on the horizon, its next improvement could help people working in Arabic.

According to Monday's "Power On" newsletter from Bloomberg, Apple is planning on a few changes affecting iOS 19 and iPadOS 19, as well as the Apple Pencil. These are changes that could be introduced as part of Apple's operating system announcements at WWDC.

Wooting, known for making analogue and Hall-Effect keyboards popular, is back with an updated version of the 60HE. Building on that foundation, they've introduced the Wooting 60HE v2, incorporating years of feedback and technological advancements to push the original model to new heights. The new keyboard will be available in Q4 2025.

One upgrade in the 60HE V2 is the updated MCU, enabling the keyboard to poll at up to a blistering 8K Hz. With Tachyon Mode enabled (which turns off RGB), it achieves ‘real 8K polling' with precise analogue key scanning, reducing input latency to 0.125 ms. The keyboard comes pre-assembled with the new linear Lekker Tikken switches (MX stem), the latest addition to the Lekker family. These are the first closed-bottom switches with a full 4 mm actuation range, designed to provide a marbly sound profile. With a rated lifespan of 100M clicks, the Lekker Tikken switches have a 40cN start and 60cN end force.

The 60HE v2 features a full aluminium casing with an enhanced design, including a friction-fit mount and silicone standoffs to protect the PCB. Users can also customise the look with replaceable strap and no-strap components on each side and choose between a standard or split space bar layout.

To shape the keyboard's sound and feel, Wooting is including a PET film layer behind the switches for a marbly sound, a PC plate sandwiched in HD Poron layers to soften keystrokes and add low-frequency sound, and an FR4 switch plate for a thocky sound. The bottom case dampening is made with a removable silicone block that can be replaced with EPDM foam or left empty for different acoustic profiles.

OWC's latest Thunderbolt 5 Dock adds a lot of connectivity to Apple's M4 Pro and M4 Max Mac lineup, while also taking advantage of the massive amount of bandwidth.


In November, OWC introduced its Thunderbolt 5 Hub, which allowed users to gain more Thunderbolt 5 ports for their M4 Pro and M4 Max Mac. Six months later, it is bringing out another port-adding device that uses Thunderbolt 5.

The OWC Thunderbolt 5 Dock again connects to the host Mac using Thunderbolt 5. However, this time it offers a wider selection of ports, to maximize the 80Gbps of bandwidth available through the connection.

On May 19, 2001, the very first Apple Stores were opened, changing not only how customers would buy Apple hardware and get service for purchases, but also alter brick-and-mortar retail forever.


"This is our store," Steve Jobs said simply, as he introduced the Apple Store for the first time. He did it in a video launch on May 15, 2001, just ahead of the first-ever Apple Stores opening the following Saturday.

The Apple Store, Apple's first foray into its own retail stores, opened its first two locations on May 19, 2001, in Glendale, Calif. and then in Tysons Corner, Virginia. One AppleInsider staffer was present for the opening of the latter store.

Computex 2025 is now underway and we are beginning the week with Nvidia's keynote. Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, is hosting once again and Leo has come away with the impression that Nvidia just doesn't care about gamers anymore.

While Nvidia did give a few gaming-related updates to members of the media prior to the event, Jensen's actual keynote was entirely focused on AI, outside of a quick mention of the RTX 5060 desktop graphics card and RTX 5060 for laptops, both of which are available starting today.

Nvidia is now described as an AI infrastructure company, pushing the acceleration and adoption of this technology. However, Nvidia is also exploring Quantum Computing, which could open up a whole new avenue for Nvidia's massive supercomputers.

The keynote closed out with talk of Nvidia's new headquarters being built in Taiwan, codenamed ‘Constellation'. In all, the keynote gives the impression that the future for Nvidia will clearly be AI focused, and gaming is becoming more of a footnote in the company's plans.

While the company may not have introduced a brand new UI for its latest Xbox Series X|S consoles, Microsoft has continued to update and refine the overall user experience on Xbox through consistent firmware updates. As part of the newest release, Xbox owners will soon be able to customise their homescreen to a much greater degree.

Making the announcement via a blog post, Xbox’s Eden Marie detailed the latest firmware update coming to those signed up for the Xbox Insider Program, writing: “Starting this week, Xbox Insiders will notice a fresh set of customization options rolling out to the recently played games and apps list on Home. This update is part of our ongoing effort to make Home more personal, flexible, and responsive to your feedback.”

With that, the full list of new features landing with this update include the following:

• You can now hide system apps from the recently played games and apps list on Home
• You can now pin up to three of your recently played games or apps directly to the recently played games and apps list
• You can now reduce the number of visible tiles in the recently played games and apps list

Currently available to ‘Alpha Skip-Ahead’ and regular ‘Alpha’ users, these changes were made in “direct response” to fan feedback, writing “We’ve heard from many of you that Home should feel more like your space. Whether it’s surfacing your favorite games, hiding what you don’t use, or simply making Home feel less crowded.”

Though far from the most transformative update, this latest firmware release should allow those who prefer a clean homescreen to finally have the catharsis which they have long wanted.

One of the biggest controversies surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2 currently is its use of a new Game-Key Card feature, which essentially gives you a physical cartridge which holds little more than a ‘game key’ to allow owners to then download the game to their system’s internal storage. While a large portion of the currently-announced 3rd party titles will be using these Game-Key Cards, Nintendo has no plans to utilise these cards for their own first-party titles.

In a statement by Nintendo UK to the Switch-focused publication NintendoLife, the console maker claimed that “We currently have no plans to use game-key cards for Nintendo-developed titles.”

Of course, though far from a permanent and definitive statement, it does put to rest some concerns which players had regarding Switch 2 games – especially as physical releases will now cost consumers extra compared to digital.

That said, it will be interesting to see how closely Nintendo sticks to this as currently the Switch 2 only offers a 64GB cartridge or the aforementioned Game-Key Card. What Nintendo will choose to do if/when one of their first party titles exceeds 64GB in size, we will have to wait and see.

At the very least it seems that for now, those who purchase any first-party Nintendo titles can rest assured that the cartridges themselves will be actual cartridges.

These results are some of the strangest we have seen as it doesn't much matter how many fans you install in the DeepCool CH690 Digital, but instead the main factor is how fast you run the fans. It is clear to us that the mesh pattern used by DeepCool is quite restrictive and the fans have to work hard to overcome that obstacle.

Closing Thoughts

The DeepCool CH690 Digital is one of a great many PC cases on the market that give you plenty of space to showcase your PC components with a good amount of tempered glass to allow you to make the most of the inevitable show of RGB lighting. The difference with the CH690 is that the glass is on the front and side – as expected – and also on the back, which is unusual. If you want to install a fan in the rear of this case you have to do a bit of panel swapping, as we show in our video.

Once we had built our test PC and installed an AIO cooler in the roof along with seven 120mm fans we found the lighting show to be very pleasant and we also enjoyed the digital display in the side of the case that reports data from the CPU and graphics card. The weird thing is that cooling is more dependant on fan speed than it is on the number of fans you install. This means you can either have a quiet but warm PC or a really loud PC that cools effectively, exactly as you will see in our video.

Switching up their typical development cycle, NetherRealm Studios followed up 2019’s Mortal Kombat 11 not with a 3rd Injustice game, but instead another entry in the Mortal Kombat series: MK1. Reception towards the game was mild, with its post-launch support receiving particular criticism – ultimately ending its live-service plans prematurely. With MK1 now out of the way, it seems Netherrealm is finally returning to Injustice 3.

As reported by known Warner Bros. / Multiversus leaker ‘multiversusie’ the insider shared a rather humorous tease for what Netherrealm has planned next, taking to twitter to say:

“Multiversus shutting down is an injustice, then doing it all again is another injustice. Leaving me without any leaks is yet again another injustice. 3”

Though not outwardly stated, this is a clear reference to Injustice 3 seemingly being Netherrealm’s next project.

As mentioned, the studio has in the past released an Injustice game following each new Mortal Kombat title – with MK1 being the first time they’ve moved away from this structure.

Given the disappointing performance of Mortal Kombat 1 however, it seems either WB, or Netherrealm (or both) figured out that following up a Mortal Kombat with another MK title may not have been the best move.

It will be interesting to see how an Injustice 3 will be received – especially in a post-MK1 world.

Death Stranding has been a huge hit for Hideo Kojima, with the the first ‘strand type’ game surpassing 20 million players while spawning a sequel and an upcoming film adaptation. According to Kojima, the film is currently scheduled to arrive some time in 2027.

As part of an interview with French magazine Le Film Francais, Kojima spoke on a range of topics from the upcoming Death Stranding film to his other project Physint.

With regards to the former, a tentative release date was shared, with the publication stating (as translated by ResetEra user Red Kong XIX): “An adaptation of Death Stranding is in development at A24, with a release planned for 2027. Would you one day like to direct a film?” to which Kojima responded:

“Oh yes! I've had so many offers since I left Konami, with serious conditions to develop games in my independent studio. Besides Death Stranding 2, there's also Physint in development. That will take me another five or six years. But maybe after that, I could finally decide to take on a film. I grew up with cinema. Directing would be, in a way, a tribute to it. Also, I'm getting older, and I'd prefer to do it while I'm still young!”

Beyond confirmation of Death Stranding’s film release, it is also interesting to learn just how far along the director’s PlayStation exclusive ‘action espionage’ Physint is currently – which is to say, not that far along.

Perhaps most curiously is the omission of any mention of Kojima’s other in-development project, the Xbox aligned genre-breaking OD. Announced back in 2023, the experimental title appears to be further along in development when compared to Physint – making the lack of any updates curious to say the least.

Of course, in the meantime, fans can look forward to Death Stranding 2’s release, which is set to arrive in just over a month’s time.

Ahead of Computex opening its doors, Nvidia is making a number of announcements today. For starters, the RTX 5060 is available starting today, in both desktop graphics card and laptop GPU form.

According to Nvidia, the RTX 5060 will be capable of running many AAA games at max settings, with over 100 frames per second frame rates. You can see the results for each game in the slides above, but make note of the small print, which shows that testing is done at 1080p, with DLSS Quality and the maximum Frame Generation level supported.

Another slide also shows some of the first RTX 5060 laptops we'll be seeing, from OEMs like Acer, Alienware / Dell, Asus, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, MSI and Razer.

As part of Nvidia's list of gaming announcements for Computex 2025, we get a preview of DOOM: The Dark Age's upcoming Path Tracing update. The game already has ray-tracing effects, but Path Tracing will ensure rays interact with the entire scene, as you can see in the comparison images above.

With DOOM: The Dark Ages being out now with DLSS 4 support, it is time to look towards the coming months. Today, Nvidia has confirmed 10 more titles launching with or updating to DLSS 4 this year, including:

Nvidia is also using this opportunity to remind us all that RTX Remix is now widely available. So far, over 150 RTX Remix mods have been released, and there are over 350 RTX Remix projects in development. One RTX Remix project getting updated soon is Portal RTX, which is being upgraded to include DLSS 4. The RTX Remix Mod Contest is also set to begin, offering modders an opportunity to win up to $50,000 worth of prizes.

Apple may have started late, and hit some speedbumps along the way, but Apple's Senior Vice President of Machine Learning and AI Strategy, John Giannandrea, wants to beat Apple Intelligence into shape before handing over the reins to a successor.


Giannandrea is still in charge of AI and Large Language Model (LLM) research, AI analysts, and integrating those technologies into the larger OS infrastructures. A report from Bloomberg suggests that some Apple executives would like to see his role reduced further, ahead of a near-future departure.

Apple leadership reportedly wants to put Giannandrea on a path to retirement and the eventual naming of a successor. That said, the executive still attracts top engineers and researchers to Apple, so for now he's staying put.

Apple's executives are pushing for Siri to become a proper AI chatbot that scours the web, potentially as a direct competitor to ChatGPT. It's just not clear when that's going to happen.


As part of the Apple Intelligence shift, Apple said it would overhaul Siri to be more context-aware, but that change has yet to arrive. However, if the urges of Apple's chiefs to change course work, Siri could become even more powerful down the road.

According to Apple employees speaking to Bloomberg on Sunday, Apple executives are keen to make Siri into a competitor to current top chat bot, ChatGPT. While former Siri chief John Giannandrea was apparently reluctant to go down that route, the company's leadership are leaning to go that way with Siri.

Apple is reportedly preparing to allow iPhone users in the EU to select third-party voice assistants to be the default, instead of Siri.


Apple has tried hard to deal with the regulatory changes in the European Union, such as the Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act. It now seems that Siri could be the next major victim in the Apple ecosystem from those rule changes.

According to Bloomberg on Sunday, Apple is working to meet EU regulations that affect Siri. Specifically, Apple is working to enable other digital assistants to operate in Siri's place.

A new report from a reliable leaker suggests that the AirPods line will see IR cameras added next year, with an update to the AirPods Max waiting until 2027.


Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has reiterated a June prediction that Apple's AirPods line would gain cameras, potentially as an alternative to the development of smart glasses. In his latest report, the frequently-reliable Kuo says the cameras in AirPods would be infrared (IR) cameras.

These would enter production sometime in 2026 and could be used to help direct users to a destination. The computer vision information gathered from the IR-equipped AirPods could also be passed on to other devices.

MSI is showcasing a new line of AI-powered QD-OLED gaming monitors at Computex 2025. There are two new models: the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 and the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50.

Leveraging Samsung Display's 3rd-generation QD-OLED technology, both monitors are 27-inch displays featuring WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, a 500Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms GTG response time. These monitors meet the VESA ClearMR 21000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certifications, ensuring industry-leading motion clarity, high contrast, true blacks, and rich colour (around 99% DCI-P3). The MPG 271QR is highlighted as the “world's first” 27-inch 2K QD-OLED at 500Hz, while the MAG 272QP is billed as MSI's first 27-inch 2K QD-OLED esports gaming monitor.

Although both monitors look the same spec-wise, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 has some unique AI features that the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 doesn't. These AI features include the AI Navigator, which provides a simplified menu for easily adjusting and optimising the monitors' AI settings in one location. Moreover, MSI's AI Care Sensor uses real-time human identification and dynamically modifies settings to protect the monitor and increase efficiency. This system, powered by an NPU-based IC and CMOS sensor, detects user presence; when no user is identified, it automatically dims the monitor or engages OLED Care features, extending the monitor's life while saving energy.

Both monitors are covered by the MSI OLED Care program, but while the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 is under version 2.0, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 is covered by version 3.0, likely due to the OLED-protective AI features that it has. Pricing and availability aren't yet known for the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 (should be cheaper than the MAG 272QP), but these could be unveiled during Computex 2025. As for the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50, this monitor is already available in China and costs about CNY 6000 (£626).

AMD Zen 5-based CPUs and APUs are still coming out, but details about their next generation of chips are already starting to surface. According to a recent report, potential configurations for AMD's Zen 6-based APUs, codenamed “Medusa Point”, have appeared.

The “Medusa Point 1”, as HXL refers to it, reportedly has a quite different core configuration. The Ryzen 5 and 7 chips will supposedly pack up to 10 CPU cores in a hybrid structure: four classic high-performance cores, four ‘dense' cores, and two low-power cores. Moreover, the leak suggests eight RDNA 3.5+ CUs for integrated graphics, a new RDNA graphics architecture built upon the RDNA 3.5 that we've already seen in action.

The leaks also include rumours about how AMD might scale up for higher-end Ryzen 9 APUs based on this architecture. Speculation suggests AMD could add more cores via an extra CCD, adding 12 classic cores to the base configuration for a total of up to 22 CPU cores, while the integrated graphics are expected to remain at 8 CUs.

This modular approach is not new to AMD, as seen in previous designs like the Strix Halo platform. Interestingly, the rumoured 8 CUs in Medusa Point are a considerable decrease compared to the 16 CUs of Strix Point, suggesting that Medusa Point might not be a direct successor to Strix Point but an entirely new series. On the other hand, we don't know the enhancements that RDNA 3.5+ brings, which might compensate for the reduced CU count.

Stellar Blade is heading to PC next month but the game has unfortunately found itself roped into a long-running controversy with Sony. With Stellar Blade now being listed on Steam, fans have quickly learned that the game is regionally blocked from being sold in over 170 countries. 

If you were following the Helldivers 2 launch in 2024, this will all sound very familiar. When Sony began enforcing PSN integration with its PC published games, Sony had to go back and remove the game from sale in over 170 countries, as PSN is not available in those territories. Since then, games like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and other PlayStation PC titles have also been blocked in those same countries. With PlayStation publishing Stellar Blade on PC, this game has also fallen subject to Sony's sales policy.

Fans were quick to denounce the game for this and developer, Shift Up, has confirmed it is in discussions with Sony about this. However, Arrowhead Studios did the same thing when this controversy hit Helldivers 2, and no changes came out of it.

Stellar Blade launches on PC on the 11th of June.

While Nintendo will be charging for Switch 2 upgrades for certain titles, like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, some titles will be getting free updates for the Switch 2. This week, Nintendo detailed the first dozen titles to get free Switch 2 upgrades for those that own the original game on Switch 1. 

Every game on the list has been ‘optimised for the Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution TVs' and a few select titles are adding HDR support too. Some games have also received frame rate upgrades.

All 12 games will receive their Switch 2 updates on the 5th of June, the same day the Switch 2 becomes available to the public.

Last month, Nintendo removed mentions of the Switch 2's support for Variable Refresh Rate from its website. This was confusing, as previously Nintendo had confirmed that the console supports VRR. Now several weeks later, we finally have an explanation. 

In a statement given to Nintendo Life (via Eurogamer), Nintendo confirmed that VRR is supported on the Switch 2's mobile display. However, the console does not support VRR in docked mode.

“Nintendo Switch 2 supports VRR in handheld mode only. The incorrect information was initially published on the Nintendo Switch 2 website, and we apologise for the error”.

It is unclear if VRR will be enabled for docked mode later on but it is not something Switch 2 buyers should expect as part of the package.

The Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5th for £399.

KitGuru Says: Not having VRR in docked mode immediately puts the Switch 2 at a disadvantage for 120Hz games. At those higher refresh rates, frame rates tend to waver more frequently, which can in turn cause a lot of screen tearing.

While COD Mobile has been a huge success for Activision, Warzone Mobile did not take off after its launch last year. As a result, Warzone Mobile will soon shut down. 

Warzone Mobile was separate from COD Mobile, which already contains its own Battle Royale and Zombies modes. Considering that, it isn't entirely surprising to see that Warzone Mobile as a standalone game didn't really take off.

Warzone Mobile released on iOS and Android in March 2024, while COD Mobile has been out since 2019 and has only improved over time.

Activision confirmed on Friday that Warzone Mobile has “not met expectations with mobile-first players”. Starting today, the 18th of May, the game will no longer be available to download.

KitGuru Says: COD Mobile is just a better and more complete game. Warzone Mobile as a standalone game was already competing with a more established version of itself.

This week, Bungie found itself in hot water again after another instance of the studio stealing art. Bungie was quick to admit that stolen art did appear in the Marathon alpha build but the studio may have bigger problems on its hands. 

Paul Tassi, a well-known Destiny reporter, has heard that morale amongst Bungie employees is at an all-time low after this week's events. Development on Marathon has hit a roadblock, as Bungie and Sony legal teams now need to review all assets in the game to ensure any stolen art is removed and replaced.

Right now, it is unclear how long this review of assets will take, but there is some internal discussion of a delay. Marathon was planned to release in September but now with so much negativity surrounding the game, launching that early could be a mistake. However, there is also concern internally about what will happen to the studio if Marathon is not a success. There is a sense that this is a make or break moment for Bungie.

While Marathon did just recently have a publicly playable alpha, Bungie was unable to show any new gameplay during its dev stream this week, due to the stolen art fiasco. With that in mind, plans to even showcase more of the game are likely to be impacted.

If Marathon does flop, it is likely that Sony will begin to take full control of Bungie. Considering what has happened at the studio under current leadership, a change at the top might be for the best.

It has been several weeks since a US court ruled that Apple could no longer block developers from using third-party payment providers for in-app purchases. This move opened the door up for Fortnite to return to the iOS App Store. However, Apple is now finding seemingly new excuses to keep the game off the store 

Epic Games resubmitted Fortnite for the App Store on the 9th of May and by May 14th, Apple had still not approved the game. Now, Epic says that Apple has “blocked” Fortnite's return to the App Store:

Epic says that Fortnite on iOS “will be offline worldwide” until Apple unblocks the game. Apple has not publicly commented on the matter.

Fortnite had existed on the iOS App Store for years before Apple pulled the game due to an update that included a third-party payment method, circumventing Apple's rules that all apps use Apple Pay. Since then, courts around the world have ruled this practice as illegal, forcing Apple to allow developers to use third-party systems for in-app purchases. In some parts of the world, Apple has also been forced into allowing third-party stores and app sideloading.

MSI is showcasing a vast array of cutting-edge PC hardware at Computex 2025 in Taipei, emphasising the integration of artificial intelligence across its product portfolio. The showcase covers AI-powered laptops, desktops, gaming handhelds, storage solutions, networking gear, and wireless peripherals.

Among the numerous products on display are several award-winning and uniquely designed laptops. The Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition won a Best Choice Award for combining traditional Japanese lacquer art (featuring Hokusai's ‘Great Wave') and modern AI tech. The laptop features Katsushika Hokusai's iconic Ukiyo-e woodblock print, “The Great Wave off Kanagawa”, bridging tradition and innovation.

The Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition also received a Best Choice Golden Award for Gaming/Entertainment, showcasing a striking Norse mythology-inspired design with advanced metal etching and supporting up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. The system has distinctive things such as a 3D Dragon keychain, a mouse, and a mouse pad. MSI continues collaborations with Mercedes-AMG, introducing new Stealth A16 AI+ (AMD CPU/RTX 50 GPU) and Prestige 16 AI+ (Intel CPU/4K OLED) models featuring distinctive co-branded designs and accessories.

Their Claw 8 AI+ portable gaming handheld also earned a Best Choice Award for Portable Gaming, with an updated Polar Tempest Edition featuring an Intel Lunar Lake CPU and 2 TB SSD on display. Another full system, which received A Best Choice Award, is the MEG Vision X AI desktop, featuring an AI HMI touchscreen interface, Silent Storm Cooling AI, and packing up to an RTX 5090 GPU, PCIe 5.0 SSDs, and a Core Ultra 9 CPU.

Moving on to more compact systems, we have the Cubi NUC AI and AI+ PCs (0.51L PC), which feature Intel Core Ultra CPUs with AI Boost NPUs and Copilot+ support. The AI+ adds features like fingerprint ID and Thunderbolt 4, plus a unique Power Meter. The Pro DP80 is another compact system from MSI. It's an 8L compact PC that targets SMBs with AI capabilities and enterprise security features, and offers a flexible I/O.

In the motherboard segment, MSI is showcasing the MEG X870E Godlike as part of its high-end DIY PC segment. They also launched new AMD ITX motherboards, the MPG X870I Edge TI WIFI and MPG B850I Edge TI WIFI, featuring silver-white designs, premium cooling, PCIe Gen 5, Wi-Fi 7 (320 MHz), and 5G LAN, with the X870I specifically highlighting expandability via an Xpander Card. For Intel Core Ultra 200 chips, there's the MPG B860I Edge TI WIFI, which has the same silver-white look, an 8-phase power architecture, a Lightning Gen 5 PCIe slot, two M.2 interfaces, and Wi-Fi 7 (320 MHz) support.

For storage, the Vortiq portfolio (U.2, E3.S, E1.S, and SATA 2.5″ formats) targets AI/data centres with capacities up to 61 TB and up to 14.8 GB/s read speeds. At Computex, MSI will also showcase the new Spatium M571, a PCIe 5.0 M.2 SSD built with a Phison E28 controller, and the Datamag portable SSD (up to 40 Gbps) with new Apple software aimed at boosting workflow productivity.

In the network department, we have the Roamii BE Pro Mesh System, which brings high-speed Wi-Fi (up to 11 Gbps) with MLO, 320 MHz channels, and 4 K-QAM modulation. Setup is relatively easy thanks to the MSI Route 2.0 App, and with smart features like Find Wi-Fi Spot for optimal placement, connecting to it will be equally simple. Lastly, upcoming wireless lightweight gaming peripherals include the Versa 500 and 300 Wireless 8K mice, with the Versa 500 featuring a magnetic scroll wheel with Hall-effect tech. The Pro line promises flagship wireless gear like the Versa Pro mouse (multiple programmable buttons) and the Strike Pro keyboard (quiet build, custom keys), which are planned for release this month.

Rumors about the iPhone 17 Air have not only discussed how thin it will be, but also how it could have a limited battery capacity. In a Friday post from a serial leaker, it could be considerably smaller than usual.

Posting to Naver, leaker "yeux1122" makes some claims about the iPhone 17 Air. The information is said to be from a "mass production-confirmed sample."

Apple's potential plan to partner with Alibaba to bring Apple Intelligence to its products in China is raising eyebrows in Washington.


Officials from both Congress and the White House have expressed concerns about plans Apple has to partner with Chinese commerce giant Alibaba to bring Apple Intelligence to China. The company sees such a deal as crucial to remaining competitive there.

A report from The New York Times notes that China accounts for about 20 percent of Apple's total sales. The company will require a partnership with an AI provider in China in order to compete against China's own smartphone companies.

Officials in the US are worried that such a deal would help China become even more competitive against US AI companies. Any agreement would likely obligate Apple to further follow Chinese laws that promote censorship and user data-sharing with the government there.
