Noctua launches NH-D15 G2 and NF-A14x25 G2 fans in chromax.black finish
Noctua has finally released the all-black chromax.black versions of its G2 cooling products. Both the NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler and the NF-A14x25 G2 140mm fans now arrive in a sleek design.
The new NF-A14x25 G2 fan (Sx2-PP also available) features advanced aerodynamic engineering, including an impeller made from Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer (LCP) and a record-tight 0.7 mm tip clearance. The new design allows the G2 models to maintain a performance-to-noise advantage over their renowned predecessors in both high-impedance scenarios (radiators) and airflow-oriented case cooling. The fans also integrate the etaPERF motor and SupraTorque technology, ensuring rotational stability against back pressure.
The NH-D15 G2 chromax.black inherits the further refined heatsink design, which now has eight heatpipes instead of six. Paired with the new NF-A14x25r G2 PWM fans (available separately as a single unit or pair), the all-black version offers the same cooling efficiency as the original brown model. The full chromax.black treatment includes a black-coated heatsink and black fans, delivering the highly requested subtle aesthetic. The cooler ships with the Torx-based SecuFirm2+ multi-socket mounting system, NT-H2 thermal compound, and a full 6-year manufacturer's warranty. Builders can further customise the look with coloured anti-vibration pads, which are available separately.
The NH-D15 G2 chromax.black is available now for €159.90 in Europe or $189.90 in the US. The standalone NF-A14x25 G2 fans are also available in chromax.black finish starting at €39.90/$44.90 for a single unit and €76.90/$84.90 for a bundle of two. A full 6-year manufacturer's warranty backs all products.

Mafia: The Old Country released earlier this year to a solid amount of praise – with one of its biggest detractors being the game’s redundant-feeling open world zone. As was promised, the team have now released a new free expansion improving on this aspect, with the Free Ride Update officially available from today.
Making the announcement, the team at Hangar 13 officially detailed today’s free update, writing: “Free Ride is a callback to the original Mafia’s Free Ride Extreme, as well as the Free Ride mode we shipped in Mafia: Definitive Edition. It’s a collection of Challenges separate from the main story that give players chances to revisit the world in a more self-guided way.”
Going into more depth, they continued, “This time, we’ve constructed several kinds of repeatable Challenges—including combat, stealth, and different race types—in a variety of new and familiar locations. Completing Challenges will earn you the Dinari in-game currency to spend on the new outfits, charms, weapons, and vehicles unlocked by progressing through this content (as well as on items unlocked via the campaign).”
Beyond this, the update is also said to include “a number of other fresh and exciting features” – though this was not elaborated upon.

Following the disappointment that was Battlefield 2042, EA / DICE came back bigger and stronger than ever with the recent release of Battlefield 6. While the game is already a certified success, EA themselves have now claimed Battlefield 6 to be “the best selling shooter game of the year.”
As discovered by Call of Duty leaker CharlieIntel, the main Battlefield 6 page on EA’s website has been updated with a new description.
While in and of itself nothing worthy of note, the updated page states that “There's never been a better time to jump into the best selling shooter game of the year” – the first official confirmation that BF6 has taken the top spot.
For context, it was already reported that Battlefield 6 managed to achieve the biggest launch in franchise history, with the game having sold over 10 million copies since its official launch back in late October.
Of course, we would be remiss not to mention the Call of Duty sized elephant in the room, with Treyarch’s Black Ops 7 having arrived just last week – though to a middling reception on PC at least.
That said, even the worst CODs have historically ended up taking the top spot in the best-sellers list each year, and so we will have to wait and see whether Black Ops 7 winds up outpacing Battlefield 6 by the end of 2025. So far however, Battlefield seems to be leading the pack.

2026 appears to be the year in which last-gen support could finally be winding down, with multiple live-service titles announcing that they will no longer update their games on PS4 / Xbox One come next year. Joining this ever-growing list is Embark Studios’ The Finals – with the PS4 version set to be discontinued this upcoming March.
Making the announcement on Twitter, the team at Embark Studios confirmed that the PS4 version of The Finals (which actually launched AFTER the current-gen versions) will soon be discontinued, writing:
“When Season 10 begins (18th of March, 2026), we'll be retiring THE FINALS on PlayStation 4 and focusing our support on current generation hardware.”
Of course, being an online game, players will be able to continue playing elsewhere, with Embark noting “your progress and purchases will be stored in your Embark ID and will transfer to anywhere you choose to play.”
As mentioned, The Finals is far from the first game to be ceasing last-gen support, with PUBG: Battlegrounds officially moving over to current-gen just last week (and Genshin Impact set to do the same in April of next year).
It will be interesting to see whether The Finals’ switch to current-gen only will allow for more ambitious updates in the future. We will have to wait and find out.

Prior to the game’s official release, the team at Sucker Punch Productions revealed that they plan to support Ghost of Yotei in a similar manner to the previous Ghost of Yotei. While fans will have to wait until next year to get their hands on the promised multiplayer Legends Mode, a major free update is set to arrive early next week – adding a NewGame+ option, extra cosmetics and more.
Making the official announcement on the PlayStation Blog, the Senior Communications Manager at Sucker Punch Productions ‘Andrew Goldfarb’ wrote:
“On November 24, a free patch for all Ghost of Yōtei players will introduce New Game Plus, allowing you to replay Atsu’s quest for vengeance from the beginning with everything you earned throughout the campaign. Yes, that means it’s time to bring a gun to a sword fight, with all of the armors, abilities, and weapons from your first playthrough available from the start of the game.“
Beyond being able to play through the story with all of your upgrades unlocked, the NewGame+ mode introduces quite a lot in the way of new content, including by not limited to:
- A new harder difficulty
- Two additional Trophies to earn (most likely tied to the new difficulty and NG+)
- New Ghost Flower currency
- Used to obtain additional armour sets, weapon dyes and charms
- The ability to “earn an additional tier of upgrades for your existing armor sets and weapons”
Outside of NewGame+, the update also introduces a number of quality-of.-life improvements, such as:
- Being able to replay post-game content with new player stats
- More accessibility options
- Photo mode expansion with shutter speed, composition grid and more
Ghost of Yotei has had a strong launch so far, matching that of Tsushima despite being available on fewer systems. With this upcoming update arriving so soon (and the multiplayer Legends mode slated for early next year), Atsu still has a ways to go before completing her journey.

The Thrill of the Fight 2 is now out of Early Access with a launch update that adds a singleplayer campaign.
The original The Thrill of the Fight arrived on Steam for the original HTC Vive all the way back in 2016, and is still considered to be one of the best VR games of all time, as well as one of the first to get you breaking a sweat. It was ported to Quest soon after the original Oculus Quest launched, and last saw a major update in 2023.
Compared to the original, the biggest addition in The Thrill of the Fight 2 is multiplayer, which was the only mode available when it entered Early Access on Quest headsets back in November.

The Thrill of the Fight 2 also adds a visible and customizable player body model, as well as a thumbstick locomotion option in addition to the default room-scale movement. It's also a little more game-like, with visible scoring, a departure from the simulation feel of the original.
While the multiplayer-only Early Access release was $10, the full game with a singleplayer campaign too is now $20 for new buyers (existing buyers get the update for free).
You can find Thrill of the Fight 2 on the Meta Horizon Store, with support for Quest 2, Quest Pro, Quest 3, and Quest 3S.

Antec has announced the debut of the Flux M case, an mATX chassis designed for high-performance cooling right out of the box thanks to its six pre-installed fans.
The Flux M case is built around Antec's dedicated F-Lux airflow platform. Equipped with six PWM fans out of the box, including three 120mm PWM ARGB fans and three 120mm reverse fans, the case features a multi-directional vent design with large intake ports at the front, bottom, and right side, ensuring continuous airflow. On the left side, there's a tempered glass panel that lets you look at the internals of the system housed in the case.
The vertical cooling approach is based on the large bottom mesh panel. With 20mm of clearance between the GPU and the bottom fans, the reverse fans can deliver targeted and effective cooling directly to the graphics card. Despite its mATX size, the Flux M offers substantial component clearance. It can house motherboards up to Micro-ATX and ITX, supports CPU coolers up to 175mm tall, and fits graphics cards up to 405mm long. For liquid-cooling enthusiasts, the case supports a top-mounted 360mm radiator and a rear-mounted 120mm radiator.
Antec has also included several builder-friendly features. The PSU chamber is front-mounted, which frees up internal space for better airflow, and a 13A extension cable is included to connect the PSU to the rear socket. Cable management space is generous for a small chassis, offering up to 59mm in front and 49mm at the back for routing. The I/O panel includes USB 3.0, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and an audio combo port. The Flux M is expected to cost €69.90 or £59.99.

AMD's GM and SVP, Jack Huynh, has posted a video teaser confirming the imminent launch of the company's newest iteration of FSR, dubbed Redstone. The Redstone update represents the most significant architectural shift in FSR history, fully leaning into machine learning and AI acceleration.
The teaser doesn't show much besides a few game snippets within the “FSR” logo and a date for the announcement, scheduled for December 10th. In this announcement, we expect AMD to reveal much more information on how FSR Redstone works, whether it will completely replace FSR 4, which GPUs will be compatible with it, and which other titles Redstone will be available for, aside from Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

For those who don't know what FSR Redstone is, it builds on the machine learning super-resolution introduced with FSR 4 and adds three key innovations. First, AMD FSR Ray Regeneration uses a neural network to reconstruct and filter high-frequency noise from ray-traced data. This functions similarly to Nvidia DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction, helping to improve reflection quality and clean up artifacts from sparsely sampled ray tracing. This feature has already been seen in a limited, early state in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Second, we have Neural Radiance Caching, which continuously learns how light propagates within a scene, allowing the system to predict and cache indirect illumination. This is designed to significantly reduce the computational cost of implementing ray-traced global illumination. Finally, ML Frame Generation marks a significant evolution from the interpolation technology used in FSR 3. This new model employs machine learning with integrated temporal and spatial awareness to produce highly accurate intermediate frames.

There’s no doubt that being a PC enthusiast has had its challenges in recent years, with shortages, skyrocketing prices and a general slowdown in innovation, but it’s been great to see the gaming monitor segment bucking that trend and going from strength to strength. Today’s monitor is a great example of that, with the AOC CU34G4Z offering a curved 34in 3440×1440 ultrawide panel clocked at 240Hz, for less than £300. It certainly sounds good on paper, so let’s dive in and see what it’s like to use in the real world…

Just for some context around the pricing, right now AOC’s CU34G4Z is listed at £280 on Amazon and Currys, and while that does appear to be a Black Friday special at the time of writing, PCPartPicker price tracking reveals it’s been selling for under £300 since September anyway, so we’re only talking a £10-20 difference.
That’s still a great price for a curved ultrawide with these specs, too. It was only back in mid-2020 I myself spent £500 on the AOC CU34G2X, also a curved ultrawide but with a slower 144Hz refresh rate – and let me tell you now, the response times on that screen were nowhere near as good as they are with the CU34G4Z!

ArenaNet, a subsidiary of NCSoft, has announced Guild Wars Reforged, an update and modernisation of the classic 2005 MMORPG. The update will be free for all existing owners and will launch on December 3rd for Steam and Windows PC.
The project is a co-development venture between ArenaNet and the small studio 2weeks, which was founded by former ArenaNet developers who worked on the original. This collaboration ensures the game, which has amassed over nine million players since its 2005 debut. The Reforged package will include the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall content, and it will be free if you have at least one of them.
The update's primary focus is on accessibility and visual fidelity. Guild Wars Reforged will officially introduce XInput controller support and be Steam Deck verified. Visual improvements include support for high-DPI displays, new antialiasing options, ambient occlusion, enhanced bloom effects, refined textures, and new HD skill icons. The audio system has also been upgraded with enhanced 3D environmental sound.
For QoL improvements, the update will overhaul the user experience by adding a new quest-tracking system to simplify navigation and implementing high-DPI support with increased font size options for modern high-resolution monitors. New players can purchase the Guild Wars Reforged package for £17.99/$19.99, which is quite affordable given that it includes all three original campaigns.
