Intel Core Ultra 9 285 leaks via Geekbench

The upcoming Intel Arrow Lake-S desktop launch lineup will only include the unlocked K-series, a move that aligns with the company's history. Still, non-K CPUs are also coming, and thanks to an entry recently found on the Geekbench 6 database, we just got the first glimpse of how the top-tier non-K CPU will perform.

The Geekbench entry found by Benchleaks shows the first non-K SKU in the Arrow Lake-S family to be found in the wild. This 65W TDP processor mirrors the CPU configuration of the 285K, featuring 24x cores, eight of which are Lion Cove P-cores and 16 of which are Skymont E-cores. According to the Geekbench entry, the CPU was tested on an Asus Prime Z890-P with 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory.

Delving into the test results, the Core Ultra 9 285 hit a maximum boost frequency of 5.6GHz, just 100MHz lower than its 285K counterpart. The 3081 single-core score suggests that the CPU could match the 265K(F) in single-threaded programs. As for its multi-core performance, the 14,150 score seems a bit too low, even with the power constraints. Hopefully, retail samples will fare better in this test.

Intel's public launch of the new series is slated for October 10th, but the non-K CPUs are not expected to be part of this announcement. Instead, Intel will likely introduce the new 65W TDP chips later, potentially around CES 2025. This window aligns with the arrival of Intel's B860 motherboards.

Ryzen 9950X running at 7.55GHz breaks five world records

Overclockers “safedisk” and “elmor” broke various world records with an overclocked AMD Ryzen 9 9950X pushed to 7.55GHz on an ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard.

According to the various entries (CB R20, CB R23, 7-zip, Geekbench 3, and HWBOT x265), the system was cooled using liquid nitrogen to maintain temperatures as low as -189°C. Moreover, the entries show the testing setup featured 32GB of DDR5-6200 memory with timings of 30-36-36-34-62 and a 256GB Kingston SSD.

To achieve the 7.55GHz clock frequency, the overclockers had to deactivate SMT to enhance single-threaded performance, allowing all 16 CPU cores to operate without interruption from hyperthreading. The overclocking involved setting an x75 multiplier and a voltage setting of 1.025V, allowing the CPU to hit a peak frequency of 7548.68MHz, a record for Ryzen processors. Moreover, it also scored a Cinebench R23 multi-core score of 60,709 points.

Not stopping at just frequency and Cinebench R23 results, the team also clinched a world record Geekbench 3 Multi-Core score of 170,646 points, a 7-Zip score of 321,970 MIPS, a Cinebench R20 multi-core score of 23,550 points, and an impressive HWBot x265 4K benchmark of 77.57FPS. The record 16-core results were achieved by safedisk, while the frequency record was handled by elmor.

Zowie has just unveiled the latest wireless versions of its popular FK, ZA, and S series gaming mice. The FK2-DW, ZA13-DW, and S2-DW models have all been tested and certified to enhance in-game performance, particularly in micro-adjustments, flick shots, lifting, and tracking. Paired with the advanced 4K receivers, these wireless versions are engineered to provide gamers with the precision and responsiveness required for competitive gaming.

The wireless FK2-DW retains its signature low-hump design, offering a lower profile than its competitors and allowing for increased space between the palm and the mouse. According to Zowie, this design enhances micro-adjustment flexibility, especially during long-range shooting or tracking moving targets. Tests have revealed that the extended distance between the palm and mouse facilitates a wider range of motion, resulting in more precise micro-adjustments and reduced aiming time.

Meanwhile, the ZA13-DW features a taller hump to provide comprehensive palm support, evenly distributing muscular effort on both sides. Scientific research has demonstrated that the unique high-hump shape and symmetrical curves of the ZA13-DW promote balanced muscle activation in the palm, facilitating quicker flick shots and improved palm support during fixed-point braking.

Lastly, the S2-DW's compact shape and ergonomic curves on both sides promise to enable more robust muscle engagement while offering enhanced flexibility during vertical movements. Compared to other models, the S2-DW encourages more balanced activation of the palm muscles on both sides, resulting in consistent and precise tracking.

The new Zowie 4K wireless mice will be available starting this month for around £130/€150/$150.

Thermal Grizzly's WireView GPU Pro is a new monitoring and measurement tool designed by renowned overclocker Jon Sandstrom, also known as “elmor”. This device uses a power passthrough to connect to the GPU via the 12V-2×6 connector, monitoring GPU power consumption and temperature and providing users with alerts for potential issues.

Intel Core Ultra 7 265K shows up on Geekbench with considerably better scores

In the past, we had already seen a few Geekbench entries of the Core Ultra 7 265KF, but none scored as high as this one. The latest Intel Core Ultra 7 265K entry puts it much closer to the top Core Ultra 9 285K entries in the database, showing a much more promising picture for the Core Ultra 7 200 series processors.

Previous results showed a modest improvement compared to the Core i7-14700K(F), suggesting an improvement of under 10%. However, recent benchmarks reveal a more optimistic performance boost, with the new CPUs nearly matching the performance of the high-end Core Ultra 9 285K category.

An entry (via Benchleaks) conducted on the Asus TUF Gaming Z890 WIFI motherboard, equipped with 64 GB of DDR5 RAM of unspecified speed, demonstrated shows the Core Ultra 7 265K scoring 3,283 points on the Geekbench 6 single-core test and 22,293 in the multi-core test. With 8x P-Cores and 12x E-Cores, all without hyperthreading, the new CPUs showcased an impressive 15% improvement in single-core and multi-core performance over the 14700K. A look at the running speeds shows that the processor boosted up to 5.5 GHz, which is within the CPU's rumoured specifications.

The Intel Core 200K series is slated for release on October 24th, leaving room for more details to surface between now and then.

MSI confirms X870 motherboards will support DDR5 CUDIMMs

CUDIMM has emerged as a game-changing innovation, offering a CPU-decoupled CDK clock driver that enhances signal integrity and allows memory makers to achieve higher frequencies independent of the memory controller. With support for speeds starting at 6400 MT/s, CUDIMM promises improved stability and reliability at higher rates. Some memory kits using CUDIMMs are already hitting the market at 9200 to 9600 MT/s, and plans to launch 10,000 MT/s kits are already in motion.

The recent announcement that Intel's Arrow Lake-S platform will support CUDIMMs via the GEAR 2 option has raised questions about AMD's future platform compatibility. AMD's X870 boards will also support CUDIMMs, with compatibility varying depending on the RAM, motherboard, and CPU.

This information comes from MSI (via VideoCardz), which recently announced in a press event that the Ryzen 9000 and 8000 series would support DDR5-8400(+) memory, which was only possible by adjusting the memory slot architecture. As for the Ryzen 7000 series, according to MSI's in-house overclocker TOPPC, CUDIMM is currently not compatible with the CPU series.

The overlocker explained that an incompatibility issue prevents CUDIMM memory from functioning on Ryzen 7000 CPUs. He speculates that future support for the Ryzen 7000 may be possible, with the potential for motherboards with CUDIMM to start at a lower frequency, which can be manually or automatically adjusted to the supported speed. However, further information is currently unavailable due to the scarcity of CUDIMM memory in the market.

The first AMD Ryzen 9000 3D V-Cache CPU reportedly launching in November

AMD seems to be doing things differently with the upcoming Ryzen X3D series. In addition to reports claiming that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D will be the first CPU of the series, there are also rumours that a Ryzen 5 9600X3D is already planned.

Hoang Anh Phu claims that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D will be available in early November, and that AMD has a 6-core Ryzen 5 X3D variant on the way too.

AMD Ryzen

With the recent launch of Zen 3-based 5600X3D and Zen 4-based 7600X3D models, it's no surprise that AMD is expanding the X3D series. The rumoured Ryzen 5 9600X3D is expected to be the fourth and potentially the most affordable CPU in the upcoming lineup, featuring 64MB of 3D V-Cache on top of the Ryzen 5 9600X cache configuration. That would put the upcoming 6-core X3D chip with 102.5 MB of cache (L1 + L2 + L3 + 3D V-Cache).

However, a potential hurdle for the 6-core model is AMD's historical reluctance to release it across all regions and retailers. Previous-generation versions had limited availability, but with the release of the 9600X3D seemingly coming around quicker then prior generations, we hope to also see a wider release.

Bandai Namco has recently revealed the official PC system requirements for the much-anticipated Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. Let's dive into the details to ensure your PC is ready for this new Dragon Ball gaming experience.

According to the specifications, PC players will need a minimum of an Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 8GB of RAM. Additionally, an Nvidia GTX 1050, AMD Radeon RX 590, or Intel Arc A750 and 29GB of free disk space are essential. This setup is projected to deliver a smooth 60FPS experience at 1080p/Low settings. For those aiming for a more enhanced gaming experience at 1080p/High settings, Bandai Namco suggests an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of memory and an Nvidia GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 64.

Despite being a 2024 release and using Unreal Engine 5, the game's minimal PC requirements are quite accessible. This suggests the game may not use some of the engine's more advanced features, such as Lumen or Nanite. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is slated for release on October 11th.

Lenovo confirms Legion Go 2 and Go Lite through Legion Go Dock spec sheet

Photos of the Lenovo Legion Go Lite have recently been leaked. This new device differs significantly from the original Legion Go, featuring a smaller screen and non-removable gamepads, deviating from the original's design and features. Lenovo has already confirmed the new console via the Legion Go Dock's spec sheet, where the Legion Go 2 is also mentioned.

On Lenovo's website, the Legion Go Dock page (via VideoCardz) states it's compatible with two gaming handhelds that have yet to be released: the second-generation Legion Go (Gen 2) and the Legion Go Lite. While some details about the Go Lite have already surfaced, little is known about Gen 2.

If the Legion Go Gen Two follows the path of its predecessor, we should expect it to feature a Ryzen Z2 Extreme. Reports hint at it being an 8-core APU, but the graphics specifications remain uncertain. Should the APU be based on Strix Point, it could feature up to 16 RDNA 3.5 CUs, presenting a 33% performance boost compared to the Z1 Extreme. On the other hand, the Legion Go Lite is rumoured to run on the standard Ryzen Z1, positioning itself as an alternative to the Z1-based ROG Ally 2023.

Lenovo has refrained from making any promises or official statements regarding the future of the Legion Go. However, considering the Ryzen Z2 series is expected to debut early next year, we should be getting official news around that time.

Report claims Nvidia RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 specs

The specifications for Nvidia's flagship next-gen RTX 50 series graphics cards may have been leaked. Fresh claims say that the RTX 5090 will feature as much as 32GB of GDDR7 memory, as well as a GB202-300 GPU with 21,769 CUDA cores. The RTX 5080 has also been detailed. 

Regarding the RTX 5090, kopite7kimi claims that the upcoming GPU will feature a 512-bit memory bus (up from the rumoured 448-bit) and 32GB of GDDR7 RAM. The flagship card is said to use the GB202-300 GPU with 21,760 FP32 (CUDA) cores. Additionally, the card is rumoured to have a power specification of 600W, but it's unclear whether this refers to TBP or TGP.

In a separate report from Benchlife (via VideoCardz), it's also claimed that the flagship RTX 50 series card will feature a 14-layer PCB, a PCIe 5.0 interface, and UHBR20's DisplayPort 2.1a. Moreover, the card will be powered by a single 12V-2×6 connector, as there is currently no power solution using two of these connectors.

Moving on to the leaked specifications for the RTX 5080, kopite7kimi claimed the graphics card would be based on the GB203-400 and pack 10,752 CUDA cores, along with 16GB of GDDR7 memory and a 256-bit memory bus. Notably, the RTX 5080 features almost half the cores and memory of the GB202, including the memory bus width, and is expected to require 400W of power, up from the RTX 4080's 320W. Given the gap between the RTX 5080 and the RTX 5090, there is plenty of room for a Ti or Super variant.

It is currently unknown when Nvidia plans to announce its next-generation gaming graphics cards. Previous rumours have both claimed late 2024 and early 2025 release windows, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Intel Arc Battlemage GPU spotted on Geekbench running at 2.85GHz

Intel Battlemage GPUs are rumoured to be released in early 2025, but the company has been conservative in sharing details on the upcoming series of graphics cards. However, the recent reviews of the Core Ultra 200V “Lunar Lake” with integrated Xe2-LPG graphics gave us a glimpse of how the new GPU architecture performs in a laptop format. What many want to know now is how well it works in a desktop format.

The recently spotted Geekbench entry (via Wccftech) might gives us more information on that point. The results have unveiled a model named “Iris Xe Graphics RI” boasting 160 CUs (possibly 20 Xe2-cores), a maximum frequency of 2,850 MHz, and 11.6 GB of VRAM (read 12 GB). The entry shows the GPU was tested on a PC equipped with an Intel Core i5-13600K processor and an MSI Pro Z790-A WIFI motherboard with 32GB of DDR5-4800 memory.

Determining the exact specifications of this GPU has proven challenging, with questions raised about how Geekbench detects cores for Battlemage. Suggestions point to a 160/8 arrangement, equating to 20 Xe2-Cores. Furthermore, the 12GB VRAM config instead of 16GB suggest this isn't a flagship model. Instead, it should be something more akin to a mid-range variant (B750/B730?).

Performance-wise, with 97,943 points, the Battlemage GPU has shown lower performance in OpenCL benchmarks compared to its competitors. Moreover, it also seems to be on par with Intel's own Arc A750 (28 Xe-cores). However, it is worth noting that we are still some ways off from this architecture debuting on desktop graphics cards and as a result, there won't be mature drivers for it yet. During Intel's first run of GPUs, performance has improved tremendously through driver updates, so we are better off waiting until launch to truly judge performance.

Moreover, Meta has significantly improved the Quest ecosystem in 2024, which will benefit the Quest 3S upon its release.

Some of these improvements include the updates made to the Meta Horizon OS for spatial computing. That includes enhanced support for 2D applications like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram and improvements to spatial audio and Passthrough colour and contrast to deliver a more engaging mixed reality experience. Additionally, the introduction of Travel Mode allows users to utilize the Quest even while in transit, with plans to expand this feature to train travel.

The Meta Quest 3S is compatible with Meta's extensive library of applications and games, including exclusive titles like Batman: Arkham Shadow (included with the headset). Performance enhancements for Quest 3-specific games will also benefit Quest 3S users, offering improved graphics and faster load times.

In conjunction with the Quest 3S launch, Meta has also reduced the 512 GB Meta Quest 3 price to £409.99/$499.99/€479.99. As for the Meta Quest 3S, it will come for £289.99/$299.99/€329.99.

InWin introduces new F3 mini-tower series

InWin has unveiled the F3 mini-tower, the company's latest case for mini ITX and micro ATX configurations. Available in black and white variants, the latter model stands out with the wooden accent on the front panel. 

The InWin F3 mini-tower features minimalist aesthetics with SECC steel and offers easy installation with a screw-free design. Moreover, it uses mesh in the top and bottom half of the front panel to improve airflow and allow the system to breathe.

InWin's F3 case supports motherboards with backside connectors, allowing users to create a cleaner build worthy of being showcased through the side tempered glass panel. To accommodate motherboards with different backside connection positions, the F3 comes with multi-orientation brackets on the motherboard tray. It also provides four PCI-Express slots for graphics cards with large heatsinks while complying with Nvidia's SFF-ready specifications for simplified component compatibility.

The compact enclosure supports CPU heatsinks up to 160 mm tall and radiators up to 240/280 mm on top. ATX power supplies up to 160 mm long can also be mounted behind the front panel. The front I/O panel includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C connector, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a 3.5 mm HD audio combo jack. InWin also includes a Neptune AN120 PC case ARGB fan capable of producing up to 60.1 CFM and 2.27 mm/H2O at just 20.5 dB(A).

Sony makes the jump to OLED with new InZone gaming monitors

Sony has just unveiled its latest gaming monitors developed in partnership with Fnatic. If you're looking for an OLED gaming monitor with an ultra-fast refresh rate, the Inzone M10S might interest you. If you prefer something with a higher resolution, then the M9 II might be more to your liking.  

The M10S features a 27-inch 1440p 480Hz OLED screen with a resolution of 2560×1440, 10-bit color depth, 0.03ms response time, and 1300 nits peak brightness using Micro Lens Array+ technology. It is also certified for DisplayHDR True Black 400. Designed for competitive gaming, the M10S offers a 24.5-inch mode with a resolution of 1332×1332 or Full HD at 480Hz. Moreover, it has an FPS Pro+ mode that enhances motion clarity and picture sharpness. Additionally, it comes equipped with DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports.

On the other hand, the M9 II is a 4K 160Hz IPS monitor with a 27-inch display with a peak brightness of 750 nits, DisplayHDR 600 certification, and 95% DCI-P3 coverage. Although it lacks the OLED technology of the M10S, it delivers excellent resolution for gaming enthusiasts who prioritise visual quality. Like the M10S, it includes DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports. However, unlike the cable included with the OLED monitor, the one packed within the M9 II is only DP 1.4-compatible.

Besides the DP 2.1 and HDMI 2.1, it's also worth noting that both monitors include other connectivity options, such as a headphone-out 3.5mm jack and USB-A ports. Moreover, the monitors also come with heigh-adjustable stands with tilt and swivel support and support for VESA 100×100 mounting. Pricing for these displays has also been revealed, with the M10S set at £1,199/$1,099/€1349 and the M9 II at £899/$799/€999.

SteelSeries’ new Apex Pro Gen 3 keyboards have 40 configurable actuation levels

SteelSeries is updating its Apex Pro line of gaming keyboards. This latest offering boasts various new features designed to provide gamers with a competitive edge, including OmniPoint 3.0 technology and the Hall Effect Gen 3 sensor, promising to set a new standard for in-game response with less noise, higher accuracy, and consistent performance.

The OmniPoint 3.0 technology allows users to customise their experience with 40 configurable actuation levels, ranging from 0.1mm to 4.0mm. This results in a lightning-fast reaction time of under 0.54ms, significantly improving over the 6ms in regular mechanical keyboards.

To complement the OmniPoint switches, SteelSeries has introduced the SteelSeries GG QuickSet, a tool that allows players to choose from profiles created by pro esports players. Ryzen Z2 Extreme will stick to 8-core CPU design

We know a Ryzen Z2 Extreme is already in the works, but besides the name and the fact that it's coming in 2025, not much is known about it. However, a recent shipping manifest has revealed a couple of new details, including CPU core count. 

The shipping manifest shared by Olrak29 has provided insights into the APU's configuration, revealing a “Z2X” laptop CPU designed for the FP8 socket with a 28W TDP. Notably, the processor is expected to feature 64-bit memory and is speculated to be based on the Kraken or Strix Point architecture, packing eight cores.

The revelation of an 8-core configuration has surely caught some by surprise. Still, AMD's decision to go for an 8-core configuration hints at a potential emphasis on graphics performance within the mobile processor, possibly allowing AMD to use the full 16-CU RDNA 3.5 iGPU.

Although we don't know much about the Z2 Extreme, there are a few things one can assume, like using Zen 5 CPU cores and RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics. While no vendors have officially announced products featuring the Ryzen Z2, Asus and Lenovo are expected to use these APUs on their next generation gaming handhelds.

KitGuru says: Considering the performance of the Z1 Extreme, it makes sense for AMD to focus on improving graphics over CPU. The jump from a 12-CU RDNA iGPU to a 16-CU RDNA 3.5 iGPU should provide a much bigger improvement in games compared to additional CPU cores.

ASRock expands its Phantom Gaming monitor series with seven new models

ASRock has unveiled various new monitors to expand the Phantom Gaming monitor lineup. In total, ASRock will launch seven new monitors ranging from 25- to 34-inch with refresh rates going up to 280 Hz.

At the forefront of this release are the PG34QRT3A and PG34QRT2B, both 34-inch gaming monitors with a 180 Hz refresh rate and a curved WQHD display. The flagship PG34QRT3A sets itself apart with its Phantom Gaming Mini OLED display (1.3-inch) integrated into the stand, allowing users to showcase personalised content, such as photos and GIFs, while keeping track of real-time PC metrics. Additionally, the PG34QRT3A and PG34QRT2B come equipped with height-adjustable stands and a built-in Wi-Fi antennas in it, featuring up to 7dBi gain for improved wireless connectivity.

The PG27FRS1A, a 27-inch FHD curved monitor, boasts a refresh rate of 280 Hz, making it the fastest monitor of the batch. Meanwhile, the PG27QRT2A (curved) and PG27QRT1B, both 27-inch monitors with QHD resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate, offer exceptional resolution and rapid response times. Notably, the PG27QRT2A is also equipped with a height-adjustable stand with a built-in 7dBi gain Wi-Fi antenna to ensure consistent wireless connectivity.

Lastly, the PG25FFT is a 25-inch FHD flat monitor featuring a 180 Hz refresh rate and a rapid 1ms response time. Of all the monitors, this is the only one to feature an IPS display (all others use VA),

Intel Arrow Lake-S Refresh might have been cancelled, new “Razer Lake-S” codename shows up

Intel has been making significant changes to its product roadmaps. As per the latest reports, the supposed refreshed architecture that Intel planned to launch after Arrow Lake-S was cut from the roadmap. Moreover, a new “Razer Lake-S” codename has appeared, but a release window is still unknown.

The upcoming LGA 1851 platform is set to be released next month. This socket was initially planned to debut alongside Intel's first generation of Core Ultra series processors, Meteor Lake-S. However, Intel has scrapped plans for a desktop version, with this architecture now primarily targeted for laptops and Mini-PCs.

Soon, Intel is set to unveil Arrow Lake-S, the first desktop CPUs to use this new socket. However, HXL stated that Intel cancelled its plans to upgrade this architecture, which was intended to bring about minor changes to the NPU and clock rates. Previous rumours suggested that Intel was considering a 40-core model (8P+32E), but these plans appear to have been put on hold.

Currently, Arrow Lake-S is the only confirmed product to support the LGA 1851 socket, suggesting the platform may not last as long as the LGA 1700. However, there is hope that this will change as Intel reveals more about its plans in the coming months.

However, to “compensate” for the cancellation of Arrow Lake-S Refresh, we've learned about a new platform Intel is reportedly working on. According to HXL (corroborated by Bionic Squash), the successor to Nova Lake-S will be named Razer Lake-S. While this codename has surfaced previously, it has not been backed by credible sources until now.

KitGuru says: We expect that Nova Lake-S and Razer Lake-S will run on the next socket after LGA 1851. However, since Intel hasn't yet confirmed this, we don't eliminate the possibility of Nova Lake-S being supported by the LGA 1851 socket. If that's the case, the platform should, at least, last another year before whatever comes next.

Frostpunk 2 has already sold over 350K copies

Frostpunk 2 was released on September 20th and things seem to be off to a good start so far, with 11-Bit Studios confirming that 350,000 copies have been sold in the first three days. 

With the 350,000 copies it sold, 11 Bit said that Frostpunk 2's expected income has already paid the expenditures associated with the game's production and marketing. In comparison, the original Frostpunk sold 250,000 copies in three days when it was published exclusively on PC in 2018. Within three years (after debuting on other platforms), this figure increased to 3 million copies. By April 2024, this total sales had already exceeded the 5 million mark.

Frostpunk 2 has similarly exceeded its predecessor in terms of player count. According to SteamDB, it launched to a peak player count of 35,533 on September 20th, significantly more than the original Frostpunk's opening of 29,361 players in 2018. However, it's worth noting that SteamDB won't take the players who bought and played the game on PC via Microsoft Store or Game Pass (available for subscribers on launch day), leading us to believe the actual peak was higher.

11 Bit Studios' new strategy survival game currently has an average critic score on Opencritic of 86 and a “Mostly positive” score on Steam, with 72% of the players recommending it. Frostpunk 2 is now available for Mac and PC, with Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions coming in 2025.

Steam sets new record with over 38 million users online

Steam has achieved a new record for concurrent players, surpassing 38 million concurrent users this past Sunday at around 3:00PM. That's an increase of one million players in just over a month since its previous record.

Setting a new record with 38,367,277 concurrent players on the platform, the top most-played games were a good reason for the new milestone set by Steam. This ranking is led by Counter-Strike 2 (with a 1,459,492 24-hour peak CCU), followed by PUBG: Battlegrounds (787,340) and DOTA 2 (731,193). Black Myth: Wukong remains strong with a 24-hour peak CCU of 533,128 players, which is quite impressive for a single-player game.

Making its mark at the ranking's fifth position is Banana, a free-to-play game where players click on a banana to earn more bananas. Despite its seemingly simple premise, Banana has garnered mostly positive reviews and boasts a sizable player base, with a player base peaking at almost 400,000 players during the day and an all-time peak of nearly one million players. Naraka: Bladepoint claims the sixth spot, followed by Apex Legends, Satisfactory, and the ever-popular GTA 5. Deadlock, Valve's latest game, closes Steam's top 10 most-played games.

Despite setting a new record for peak concurrent players online, the in-game peak concurrent player record wasn't beaten. This record was set last month, with over 12,534,703 users playing a game on Steam.
