The Best Hulu Deals and Bundles Right Now (May 2024)

17 mai 2024 à 18:33

Hulu has been around for a while, and for our money, it's one of the absolute best streaming services available. From high-quality movies like Palm Springs and Prey to excellent television series like Shogun (which was just renewed for more seasons), The Bear, or Abbott Elementary, there is always something awesome to watch.

Below, we've detailed all of the best Hulu deals and bundles so you can get started on your streaming adventures in their library right away. To see even more streaming and bundle deals, make sure to check out our roundups of the best Disney Plus deals and the best Max deals.

Add Disney+ (With Ads) For Just $2/Month More

Looking to add a little extra to your streaming plan? The great news is that you can add Disney+ (With Ads) onto your plan for an additional $2 a month! It requires you to have a Hulu (With Ads) or Hulu (No Ads) base plan subscription, but then you'll gain access to Disney's entire library (from Marvel to Pixar to FX and so much more), for only $2 extra. That's a deal you definitely don't want to miss out on.

Hulu Deal for Students - Get Hulu (With Ads) For Just $1.99 a Month

If you're a student enrolled in a university (a U.S. Title IV accredited college or university, per Hulu's website), you can sign up for Hulu (with ads) for $1.99 a month! That's an excellent deal if you're a student, saving you $6 on the usual monthly price.

Hulu Subscription Tiers

Hulu is available in a couple of different tiers. You can get the least expensive option for $7.99 a month (and get your first month free), which gives you access to everything exclusive, tons of movies, Hulu Originals, children's programming, and more, but you'll have to stomach some ads. If you want to get rid of the ads, you can spring for the $17.99 a month 'Hulu (No Ads)' package (and the first month is still free).

Hulu: Bundle to Best

If you want a more affordable option when it comes to a Hulu subscription, you can't go wrong with a bundle, and Hulu has several to choose from:

  • Hulu + Live TV (with ads) - Hulu + Live TV (with ads) is $76.99 a month and includes Disney Plus and ESPN+. It also gives you access to over 75+ channels with live TV and unlimited DVR functionality, along with ad-supported versions of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.
  • Hulu + Live TV (ad-free) - The ad-free version of Hulu+Live TV is $89.99 a month and comes with ad-free versions of Hulu and Disney Plus, although ESPN still shows ads.
  • Disney Bundle Duo Basic - This is the most economic bundle. It will set you back $9.99 a month and comes with subscriptions to Disney+ and Hulu. Duo Basic lets you stream on multiple devices at once and comes with ad-supported versions of both Disney+ and Hulu. Plus, Hulu's app has merged with Disney+, so when you're on one of these bundles you can view everything in one app!
  • Disney Bundle Trio Basic - The Trio Basic bundle comes with all of that, but also adds ESPN+ to the mix, bumping up the price to $14.99 a month. You can also download and watch select content on ESPN+ at this level.
  • Disney Bundle Trio Premium - The Trio Premium bundle is $24.99 a month and comes with ESPN+ (with ads) and ad-free versions of Disney+ and Hulu, and you can download select content across all three streaming services.

How Will the Disney Plus, Hulu, and Max Streaming Bundle Work?

And speaking of bundles, it was recently announced that Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery are coming together to release a brand new streaming bundle that will feature Disney+, Max, and Hulu. Similar to other bundles, there will be options with ads or ad-free, but pricing for the bundle has not yet been revealed. A release date is also yet to be announced, but we will update this accordingly when it is.

What can you watch on Hulu?

There is a bonkers array of shows and movies you can watch on Hulu. Let's start at the top and simply talk about the verticals on offer here, with the base subscription, because if we also talk about what is available via Disney Plus, ESPN+, or live TV, we'll be here forever. (You can also sync up Hulu with HBO to gain access to things like Succession and Barry).

Here's what you get:

  • Television shows (AMC, Adult Swim, ABC, A&E, FX, etc.)
  • Movies (HBO, Hulu Originals, anime films, etc.)
  • Sports (NHL, Soccer, MLB, Auto Racing, NFL, College Football, PGA, Tennis, etc.)
  • News (ABC News Live, Good Morning America, World News Tonight, 20/20, The View, etc.)

Hulu Television

Hulu has some awesome shows, including many that are finished or are ongoing. For comedy, Community and New Girl are awesome for self-contained highjinks, and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia has a whopping 16 seasons available. What We Do In The Shadows, Modern Family, Cougar Town, Broad City, Abbott Elementary, and Drunk History; there is a ton of great stuff to get into, whether your sense of humor is edgy or not.

There are also some big originals, like The Bear, The Old Man, Under the Banner of Heaven, as well as The Handmaid's Tale and Only Murders In The Building.

As far as animated fare, there are modern adult classics like Rick and Morty and Bob's Burgers, as well as Futurama, Family Guy, and King of the Hill. Anime staples like Cowboy Bebop are also available. And if you want to bring more youth-friendly fun, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Animaniacs, Adventure Time, and Curious George are just a small sample of what Hulu has available.

The Future of Hulu

Hulu isn't going anywhere. As a matter of fact, beyond it being awarded the best streaming service of 2023 by us and receiving a 9/10 in our updated Hulu review, it was recently bought in full by Disney in November last year and the House of Mouse has created a one-app experience for those bundling the two. With an FX partnership, Hulu is also home to big shows including the latest drama miniseries, Shogun.

16 mai 2024 à 18:29

Disney Plus is one of the best streaming services on the block, especially considering all that you have to watch. With offerings from classic Disney animated films to the latest Marvel and Star Wars movies and shows, excellent kids' programming like Bluey, and so much more, it puts an incredible range of high-quality viewing options at your fingertips. And with exciting series like Star Wars: Tales of the Empire or concert films like Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour available to watch, you'll want to find a plan that best suits you to jump in on the streaming fun, and we're here to help.

TL;DR - The Best Disney Plus Deals and Bundles Today

You can find some of the best Disney Plus deals and bundles available right now below. If you are looking for more deals for other streaming services, though, make sure to check out our other posts on the best Hulu deals and bundles right now and the best Max deals.

What Are the Different Disney+ Subscription Tiers?

Disney+ is available in a couple of different tiers. You can get the least expensive option (called Disney+ Basic) for $7.99 a month, which gives you access to everything except the ability to download select shows to watch on the go, and it does still have ads. If you want to get rid of ads and be able to download certain shows, you can spring for the $13.99 a month Disney+ Premium package.

What Are the Different Disney+ Bundles?

Want a way to save on your Disney+ membership? Bundles are a great, affordable way to go. As far as bundles go, there are two ad-supported bundles and one ad-free bundle. And now that Hulu has merged into Disney+ when you have one of these bundles, you can get everything in one app as well! Here's the breakdown:

  • 'Duo Basic' bundle is $9.99 a month and comes with subscriptions to Disney+ and Hulu. Duo Basic lets you stream on multiple devices at once and comes with ad-supported versions of both Disney+ and Hulu.
  • 'Duo Premium' bundle is $19.99 a month, and comes with Hulu and Disney+ with no ads, but you don't get ESPN+. This is a good option if you don't like ads or sports.
  • The 'Trio Basic' bundle comes with all of that, but also adds ESPN+ to the mix, bumping up the price to $14.99 a month. You can also download and watch select content on ESPN+ at this level.
  • 'Trio Premium' bundle, is $24.99 a month and comes with ESPN+ and ad-free versions of Disney+ and Hulu, and you can download select content across all three streaming services.

How Will the Disney Plus, Hulu, and Max Streaming Bundle Work?

If you're looking for even more bundle deals, don't worry, Disney has even more in store. It was recently announced that Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery are coming together to create a brand new streaming bundle that will feature Disney+, Max, and Hulu. There will be ad-free or ad-supported options to choose from, but pricing for this bundle has not yet been announced nor has the release date. However, we will update this accordingly when it is.

Disney+ Gift Cards

If you want to help someone out and give them a gift that will keep on giving, gifting a 1-year Disney+ card is a great way to go. All the great things Disney+ offers and it costs a fraction of what it would take to buy even a small sampling of those movies physically.

What Can You Watch on Disney+?

There is a bonkers array of shows and movies you can watch on Disney+. Let's start at the top and simply talk about the verticals on offer here, with the base subscription.

Here's what you get:

  • Disney
  • Pixar
  • Marvel
  • Star Wars
  • National Geographic

Disney on Disney+

On the Disney front, you have awesome classic movies like The Sword In The Stone, Robin Hood, 101 Dalmations, Hercules, and Sleeping Beauty, more modern classics like The Princess & The Frog, Tangled, and Frozen, alongside a wide range of animated shows.

You also gain access to a ton of vintage content like Escape to Witch Mountain, The Apple Dumpling Gang, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, The Love Bug, and a whole lot more. The Disney Junior section is home to absolutely top tier animated shows like Bluey (which, for my money, is worth the price of admission on its own).

There's way more on offer, too, including a ton of Muppet movies, new live-action films and adaptions, nature programs, documentaries, The Pirates of the Caribbean, and musical programs featuring Taylor Swift (like her wildly popular The Eras Tour), Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and more.

Pixar on Disney+

When it comes to computer generated films, Pixar stands alone. Kicking off the revolution with Toy Story, Pixar has consistently put out fantastic films, and they are all here. From the Toy Story series to Finding Nemo, Cars, and more recent hits like Turning Red and Elemental, there is a ton to love.

Beyond even that, there are incredible shorts like Bao and Party Central, as well as a wide range of originals and series based on major films, such as Dory's Reef Cam, Forky Asks A Question, Cars On The Road, and more.

Marvel on Disney+

The MCU has become a true juggernaut, and there are many viewers who subscribe to Disney+ purely for access to nearly the entire MCU lineup of films and shows.

Whether you are a fan of the blockbuster action films, you are an appreciator of the classic 90's runs of "Saturday morning" cartoons like Spider-Man & X-Men, or you are currently vibing to the funky theme of the 1981 Spider-Man series, there is a ton of Marvel to enjoy on Disney+, and with new movies and shows being added to the MCU all the time, there is always more coming.

Star Wars on Disney+

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a film that changed everything. The original Star Wars is a seminal sci-fi fantasy work that inspired generations of creators, but there is still nothing quite like that far away galaxy. Disney+ grants access to the remastered versions of the original trilogy (hopefully some day they'll add the theatrical cuts, but I'm not holding my breath), as well as the prequels and sequels.

You can also stay up-to-date on all the latest series, including The Mandalorian and the critically-lauded Andor, which some viewers call "the best Star Wars has ever been." There are also fantastic short series like Star Wars Visions, and longer-form series like The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, Young Jedi Adventures, and a whole lot more.

The 9 Best Nerf Guns and Blasters for Adults and Kids 2024

9 mai 2024 à 21:00

NERF guns are awesome. They've always been awesome, but much like LEGO sets, some of their coolest stuff has come around in recent years with the advent of licensed blasters. Whether you want to check out standard NERF blasters to play games with friends, or you just want to enjoy a functional version of weapons from your favorite shows or video games, there is a lot out there.

From Star Wars and Halo weapons to Fortnite and Destiny blasters, here is our list of the best NERF guns.

NERF Hyper Siege-50 Pump-Action Blaster

  • Model Number: B096MQLDQX
  • Dimensions: 22.52 x 2.64 x 10 inches
  • Price: $19.99
  • Age Rating: 14 and up

This Amazon-exclusive bundle includes a Nerf Hyper Siege-50 blaster, 65 Nerf Hyper rounds (25 more rounds than the standard model) -- and an exclusive color design. Kinda cool.

NERF MicroShots 6-Blaster Bundle

  • Model Number: E8889F07
  • Dimensions: 16.5 x 1.73 x 10.98 inches
  • Price: $33.99
  • Age Rating: 8 and up

As the old saying goes, the more NERF blasters you have, the better. This 6-pack gives you everything you need to have a NERF war with your friends. Note that it only comes with six darts, so you'll probably want to pick up a few more so everyone can fire more rounds.

NERF Pro Gelfire Raid Blaster

  • Model Number: B0BS48YKGL
  • Dimensions: 2.6 x 24 x 9 inches
  • Price: $39.99
  • Age Rating: 14 and up

When you think NERF ammo, you probably think foam darts. The Gelfire series ditches the foam in favor of tiny gel pellets that you have to soak in water before using. Do that, load them into this weapon, and you're ready to riddle your friends with soft gel rounds that burst on impact and somehow leave nothing to clean up. Nice.

NERF LMTD Star Wars Boba Fett's EE-3 Blaster

  • Model Number: B09MZKMKNR
  • Dimensions: 3.74 x 32.36 x 9.02 inches
  • Price: $109.99
  • Age Rating: 8 and up

Despite his minimal screentime and comical death in the original trilogy, Boba Fett became a breakout beloved character years before the prequels were even a glimmer in George Lucas's eye. This NERF re-creation of his blaster is a worthy addition to your collection.

NERF Fortnite Heavy SR Blaster Scope

  • Model Number: B08SY8GH5F
  • Dimensions: 2.63 x 33.5 x 14 inches
  • Price: $52.99
  • Age Rating: 8 and up

If you've ever wanted to score a chicken dinner (wait a second... that's not right) in the real world, this NERF blaster themed around the Fortnite Heavy SR is an awesome way to do it. With a 6-dart clip, a removable scope, and a bolt action, it's time to 360 no-scope your friends.

Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike Blaster

  • Model Number: B5577F07
  • Dimensions: 3.58 x 15 x 22.01 inches
  • Price: $24.99
  • Age Rating: 8 and up

If you want a NERF blaster that gives you options for how to blast away at your friends and enemies, the Modulus Tri-Strike Blaster is the weapon for you. It comes with 10 Nerf Elite Darts, 4 Nerf Mega Darts, 1 Rocket, giving you all the options you need to wage foam warfare.

NERF Halo Needler

  • Model Number: F5487
  • Dimensions:
  • Price: $24.99
  • Age Rating: 8 and up

This blaster has a 10-dart rotating drum as well as light-up needles and accents, and is modeled on the popular Covenant homing weapon from the Halo series. It comes with a display stand and unlocks a NERF-colorized skin in Halo Infinite.

N-Strike Mega Mastadon Blaster

  • Model Number: B5575F07
  • Dimensions: 4.33 x 15.83 x 33.86 inches
  • Price: $99.99
  • Age Rating: 8 and up

If you need power, this is the one. The Amazon-exclusive N-Strike Mega Mastadon has a crank firing mechanism with a big, 24-dart drum, and a shoulder strap so you can just aim and blast away.

Star Wars Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster (The Mandalorian)

  • Model Number: F2901
  • Dimensions: 3.75 x 53.13 x 9.25 inches
  • Price: $125.99
  • Age Rating: 8 and up

The Mandalorian is a no-nonsense bounty hunter, scouring the stars for the next big job. This Amban Phase-Pulse blaster is a replica of his long rifle from the Star Wars Disney Plus show, including a breech-load setup for 10 darts, as well as blaster sounds and light-up effects. And if that's too pricy, you can pick up a cheaper model with fewer features.
