‘Not authorized’: Family fights to regain Lemkin name from vehement Israel critic

15 novembre 2025 à 13:00
Raphael Lemkin coined the very word “genocide,” but his legacy is now at the centre of a bitter fight over that term: Family members and Jewish leaders say the American institute bearing his name is betraying everything he stood for — by turning the charge of genocide against Israel itself. Conrad Black: Conservative MPs leaving Poilievre shame themselves

15 novembre 2025 à 12:00
There has been a good deal of nasty talk recently, especially in notoriously Liberal journalistic circles, about dissenters crumbling away from Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre into the outstretched arms of the Liberal government, straining to scavenge itself into a parliamentary majority. The customary version is that the Liberals are rubbing their hands in glee at this anticipated Conservative disintegration but prayerfully hope that it will not shake out the Conservative leader, Pierre Poilievre, whom they believe to be a permanent doormat for them on the threshold of the prime minister's residence, (if it is ever ready for reoccupation). Todd Howard: A message to those who injured my Jewish daughter in TMU attack

15 novembre 2025 à 12:00
My children are Jewish. Since the October 7, 2023 attack on the Nova Musical Festival, my eldest child has twice been violently attacked in Toronto, in effect, as a result of being born Jewish. The most recent violence perpetrated upon my daughter saw her hospitalized. I speak of the Nov. 5 attack by masked protesters on the attendees of a private event in downtown Toronto where Israeli Defense Forces soldiers were scheduled to speak. Read More

Adam Zivo: The $100 million Ukrainian kickback scandal masterminded by Zelenskyy ally

15 novembre 2025 à 12:00

The investigators further suggested that this scheme compromised the wartime security of the national electrical grid and indirectly allowed Russia to plunge much of the country into prolonged blackouts this autumn.   Read More

Avi Benlolo: Naftali Bennett’s unapologetic plan to unite Israel around Zionism

15 novembre 2025 à 12:00
Thursday night, I had the honour and pleasure of interviewing Israel’s former prime minister, Naftali Bennett, live on stage at The Abraham Global Peace Initiative’s annual Defender of Israel Tribute. My timing couldn’t have been better as he just happens to be leading in the polls to become Israel’s next prime minister. It was a sweeping evening and conversation about his vision for the future of Israel and the Jewish world. His views on geopolitics and particularly on artificial intelligence demonstrated his critical understanding about the future of humanity.   Read More

15 novembre 2025 à 04:36
The latest in a series of drafts that Washington has penned of a resolution to the United Nations Security Council suggests the Trump administration believes “conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood” after the Palestinian Authority undergoes reforms and Gaza’s reconstruction is “advanced.” Read More

Real Canadians: The growing Men’s Sheds movement is helping men who feel isolated

14 novembre 2025 à 20:41
Doug Mackie credits his daughter Lisa with the idea of starting Men’s Sheds in Canada. In June 2008, Lisa sat next to an Australian woman during a lunch break at a conference she attended in Saskatoon. The two women casually talked about the Men’s Sheds movement, which began in Australia and has hundreds of sheds and thousands of participants across that country. Read More
