A pair of smirking killers blamed alleged police brutality for a high-speed chase that killed a 101-year-old World War II veteran in Las Vegas.

An Arizona convenience store manager allegedly purchased a $12.8 million lottery ticket left on the counter overnight, knowing its historic value, with the company claiming it should receive the prize money.
