The "Boardwalk Empire" actor was arrested Friday in Brooklyn.

Actor Michael Pitt, 44, was arrested Friday and arraigned on sex and assault charges.

The actor is best known for his role on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."

Pitt is accused of assaulting his old flame with a wooden plank and a cinderblock.

He is also accused of fondling his former girlfriend and sexually assaulting her between April 2020 and August 2021
