The MTA on Wednesday unveiled a new "easily readable" New York City subway map for the first time in nearly 50 years.

The MTA unveiled a fully redesigned subway map for the first time in nearly 50 years.

Transit officials believe the new map is easier to read and will help riders better navigate the underground rail system.

Straphanger's, however, feel the latest graphic is confusing and complicates their travels.

The new graphic will be featured in ever train car and rail station in the coming weeks and months.
