The New Minecraft Movie Already Has a Limited-Edition 4K Steelbook Up for Preorder

4 avril 2025 à 19:54

A Minecraft Movie just hit theaters, but fans are already able to preorder the limited edition steelbook of the new film. Starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa, the new Minecraft movie is a fun comedy for the entire family. Whether you've played the best-selling video game or are an armchair observer of the Minecraft phenomenon, this new steelbook is potentially worth adding to any video game movie collection.

The new limited-edition steelbook is priced at $37.99 and does not currently have a release date. Standard Blu-ray and DVD copies of the movie are up for preorder too, but these are less likely to sell out.

A Minecraft Movie 4K Steelbook Is Up for Preorder

This new steelbook is priced fairly resonably considering some major movies will start upward of $60 for limited edtions. The steelbook itself features a ton of minecraft mobs, items, and animals across the cover. The indside also includes high-res Creepers in all their glory. You'll get both the 4K and Blu-ray disc with your purchase, and special features are included within.

This preorder also comes with Amazon's preorder price guarantee. This basically means that if you preorder now at full retail price, you won't necessarily have to pay that full price. Amazon will often offer discounts on preorders before the actual release date and you'll pay the lowest price the steelbook reaches before it gets shipped to you.

The Midnight Switch 2 Launch at Best Buy Feels Like a Forgotten Era

4 avril 2025 à 02:02

We live in an era of getting things shipped straight to your home, without needing to leave your house. Pretty much anything I could ever want can be sent directly to me in seemingly no time flat. It's an incredible thing, and yet part of me still yearns for the experience of getting something in person. It feels like it's more of an actual event and a memory you'll have forever.

With the Nintendo Switch 2 preorders starting soon, Best Buy has announced that customers will have the option to pick up the new console at their local store at the stroke of midnight EST. It's the earliest possible time fans can get their hands on the Switch 2, with Walmart offering free deliveries before 9 a.m. on June 5. While having it shipped directly to me would be the easiest path, the idea of actually going somewhere to secure the console with my own two hands appeals to me a lot more. If I do end up getting a preorder for the Switch 2, I'm going to choose to wait in line and make a big deal out of it.

Preorders Start at Best Buy on April 9 at Midnight (EST)

Best Buy preorders for the Switch 2 console, Switch 2 games, and its accessories begin on Wednesday, April 9. If you're able to secure a console before stock disappears, you'll be able to choose preorder pickup at your local Best Buy location. You can sign up to get notifications directly from Best Buy about all things Switch 2. Best Buy stated that most stores will be open at midnight ET on launch day — June 5 — for pickup.

How to find a Best Buy Store near you for pickup

You can always use Google Maps to find your local Best Buy, but you can also use the tech retailer's store locater page to find all locations in your surrounding area. You can widen the range of your search by simply expanding the map and see if the closest store is actually worth the drive.

Some Best Buy Memberships Offer Nintendo Rewards

In case you aren't familiar with Best Buy's memberships, there are a total of three. There's the free My Best Buy membership (which you'll need to preorder), My Best Buy Plus, and My Best Buy Total. Only the Plus and Total memberships are offering rewards for Nintendo purchases, but the rewards themselves are worth considering. You'll get a $20 certificate for every $150 you spend on Nintendo games and gear.

This sounds great in theory, if the Switch 2 itself was a qualifying purchase, but the fine print of the offer states that all Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 hardware is disqualified. With the price of some Nintendo Switch 2 games sitting at $80, though, you could easily spend over $150 with just two new game preorders.

How to Watch A Minecraft Movie: Showtimes and Streaming Details

4 avril 2025 à 15:15

The new Minecraft movie has looked interesting from the very virst trailer. With Jack Black and Jason Momoa plopped into the world of Minecraft, it's a video game movie that has the potential to be popular with a massive audience of both kids and adults. Minecraft is one of the best-selling video games of all time that has infiltrated pretty much every medium, so its jump to a feature film was all but a matter of time. In our review of A Minecraft Movie, we found it to be surprisingly funny despite its contraints.

If you're hoping to catch the new live-action Minecraft movie in theaters this weekend, I've gathered all of the details below. For those of you waiting for it to come out on streaming and digital, I've also gathered the latest info I could find about release dates for both.

Where to Watch A Minecraft Movie

A Minecraft Movie, with a wide release date of April 4, is now available in theaters everywhere. To find when and where you can watch the film near you, check the listings featured below for local showtimes.

When Will It Come to Streaming?

We don't yet have a streaming release date for A Minecraft Movie, but we know that it will land on Max when it does hit streaming because it's a Warner Bros. project. There is no clear time period when we can expect the movie to make the jump to a streaming service since it depends on how the film does in the box office, but we can make an educated guess based on past Warner Bros. movies. Theatrical windows have shrunk in the last few years, some as short as 14 days before hitting VOD. For a movie with such crossover appeal like this one, we'd bet that it has a longer life in theaters and won't hit streaming for three to four months. That would place the potential streaming release date sometime in June or July 2025.

What about the digital and physical release?

A Minecraft Movie does not currently have a release date for when it will become available to rent or purchase digitally. However, a limited edition steelbook is available for preorder, though without a release date. I'd venture a guess that it will release sometime closer to the end of May 2025.

The marketing team has already pushed Minecraft Movie LEGO sets and a McDonald's collaboration, and we'll likely see even more merchandise over the coming weeks.

A Minecraft Movie - Plot Summary

If you haven't been keeping up with the latest trailers for A Minecraft Movie, here's a quick synopsis of the film directly from the Warner Bros. website:

A Minecraft Movie Cast

A Minecraft Movie is directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) and stars:

  • Jason Momoa as Garrett
  • Jack Black as Steve
  • Sebastian Hansen as Henry
  • Emma Myers as Natalie
  • Danielle Brooks as Dawn
  • Jennifer Coolidge as Vice Principal Marlene
  • Rachel House, Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie, Matt Berry, and YouTubers Valkyrae, DanTDM, Aphmau, Mumbo Jumbo, and LDShadowLady all appear in various cameos or voice roles.

Rating and Runtime

A Minecraft Movie is rated PG for some violence, language, suggestive humor, and occassionally scary images. It has a total runtime of 1 hour and 41 minutes including credits. There is a mid-credits and post-credits scene you'll want to stick around for as well.

LEGO Minecraft Sets Are Getting Big Discounts as the New Minecraft Movie Hits Theaters

4 avril 2025 à 00:00

LEGO and Minecraft fit together perfectly. The popular game is all about using your imagination to build just about anything out of digital blocks, and LEGO is the ideal medium to bring that into the real world. There are already a ton of LEGO Minecraft sets out there and more are on the way. Now that A Minecraft Movie is in theaters, Amazon is offering some pretty steep discounts on older sets that are actually really cool.

Although there were some newer Minecraft Movie LEGO sets released earlier this year, none of those have gone on sale. If you're a fan of the game itself and not just interested because of the new movie, however, the sets that are on sale are worth a look.

The Best Minecraft LEGO Sets on Sale at Amazon Today

Although there are other LEGO Minecraft deals available on Amazon, the two options we've featured here are the best overall savings. First there's The Sword Outpost set, which is recognizable by the massive sword backdrop, of course. At just over $30, this is the lowest price we've seen on this set all year and close to the lowest-ever price on Amazon. It also comes with quite a few minifigures, including Skeleton and Creeper mobs. With only 427 pieces, it's fairly easy to put together in an afternoon and can be easily displayed or played with once you're done.

The second discount we've highlighted here is The Deep Dark Battle Set. At $44.49, this is the lowest price we've ever seen on this LEGO Minecraft set. This particular set takes you to the Deep Dark and offers some cool functionality for kids. There's a knob included in the build that lets you raise and lower the Warden. The tower can also "explode" with a built-in switch. You only get two minifigures with this set, but each one comes with armor and weapons you can equip them with.

What About the Minecraft Movie LEGO Sets?

There have only been two Minecraft Movie LEGO sets released so far: The Ghast Balloon Village Attack and Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring. Both of these sets reflect specific scenes from the movie and include minifigures of the characters, including Jack Black as Steve.

Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Is on Sale and Getting a Free Update for Switch 2 Later This Year

3 avril 2025 à 20:14

I started playing Pokémon Scarlet when it first came to the Switch back in November 2022. I was excited to get back into the usual Pokémon formula again after Legends Arceus mixed it up. The open world gameplay combined with the standard gym battle progression had me feeling like a little kid again.

Unfortunately, when the game first launched it was riddled with problems. In IGN's Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Review, we loved a lot of things about it, but found that it just ran terribly. The game has since received various patches and updates to help resolve the major issues, but it's the free Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade that is likely going to finally bring this game to its full potential.

Nintendo has listed the games that will be receiving free updates to improve performance or add extra features on the Nintendo Switch 2 console, and both Scarlet and Violet are on there. Additionally, Amazon is having a sale on physical copies of these games that brings the price down to well below many of the upcoming Switch 2 editions of older games. If you're a Pokémon fan who has been on the fence about the latest games in the series, now is the time to buy before the new console arrives.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Deals at Amazon

The discount on these games aren't exactly massive right now, but with the price of Switch 2 games being revealed at $70 and above, they feel actually reasonably priced. Both of these games are currently sitting at full price a the Nintendo eShop, and it's unlikely that prices will drop much further than they are now once the free Switch 2 upgrade drops on June 5. If you are planning on getting the new Switch console at launch, you should check out our Switch 2 preorder guide for all of the details.

What Pokémon Games Are Coming to Switch 2?

Nintendo has stated that the Switch 2 will be compatible with most Nintendo Switch games. This means that you'll most likely be able to play the full library of Pokémon Switch games on the Nintendo Switch 2 when it comes out in June. Only Scarlet and Violet will be receiving the free upgrades, however. Outside of those games, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is the next announced game and will be coming to both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. There will also be a Switch 2 enhanced version of the game that will offer better resolutions and frame rates.

Nintendo Switch 2 Game Listings Are Live at Walmart, Preorders Start April 9

3 avril 2025 à 01:00

After the latest Switch 2-focused Nintendo Direct, we now have all of the details about the upcoming console. Unfortunately, preorders for the Switch 2 still aren't officially becoming available until April 9. Until that day arrives, Nintendo fans are stuck looking for retailer listings to start showing up across all major retailers so they can bookmark the specific pages.

Alongside Best Buy, Walmart has dropped its specific Switch 2 listings that you can check out now. The Switch 2 console, Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle, and more Switch 2 games listings are now live. Below we've listed out all of the current game pages you can bookmark ahead of the April 9 preorder date. You can also check out the full landing page here for all of the details at once.

Nintendo Switch 2 Game Preorder Listing Live Now

The games that are featured in these listings are a mix of brand-new and Switch 2 upgrades. The most popular new games like Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World are listed here, but there's also the Switch 2 edition of Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Some of these games will arrive on the Switch 2 launch date of June 5 if you preorder them, but there are more to come at a later date. Donkey Kong Bananza doesn't come out until July 17, about a month after the launch of the new console.

Are any games getting free Switch 2 upgrades?

With Switch 2 versions of games popping up in these listings, you may be wondering if any of your regular Switch games will be eligible for free upgrades. The answer is yes! Nintendo has released a transfer guide that lists out various games that will be eligble for an upgrade. The list includes Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as well as Mario Odyssey.

What Comes With the Switch 2 Console?

Unless you're planning on snagging the Mario Kart Bundle to save some money, the new console doesn't come with any games. You do however get a few of the newer Switch 2 accessories in the box.

  • Nintendo Switch 2 console
  • Joy-Con 2 controllers (L+R)
  • Joy-Con 2 Grip
  • Joy-Con 2 Straps
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Dock
  • Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable
  • Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter
  • USB-C Charging Cable

Pick Up a Nintendo Switch Online Gift Card Before the Inevitable Price Increase

2 avril 2025 à 20:11

I've had a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription for little over a year now and it's been great. I've been able to play some older Game Boy Advance games I never got to experience as a kid as well as revisit classic N64 games like Banjo-Kazooie. Now with the Switch 2 on the horizon, the Switch Online subscription is going to start including GameCube games – plus be required to use the new GameChat function – and I couldn't be more excited. What I'm not excited about is the increased prices for the new console and games.

The price of the Switch 2 was revealed to be $449.99 and the new Mario Kart game is going to cost $80 at launch. These price increases make me think that a Nintendo Switch Online price increase is probably inevitable. If you are looking to pick up a subscription for the first time, there are still gift cards available at some retailers that you can purchase now instead of later. These are only available for new subscribers and do not stack upon existing subscriptions.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Gift Cards - 12 Months

These gift cards are currently available at Walmart and Target, but sold out at Amazon. These are e-gift cards that will be sent to your email where you'll be able to add the subscription to your account via code. The 12 months don't start counting down until you actually access the membership, so there's some leeway about when you start it. If you redeemed the membership right now, you would still have access when the Switch 2 launches in June this year.

Will there be a NSO price increase with the Switch 2?

Although Nintendo has not mentioned anything about a price increase to any of the Switch Online membership plans in the U.S., it seems likely that it will happen. Prices have already started to increase in some regions outside of the U.S. in 2025 and with the Switch 2 looming, it's likely we will see the same thing occuring here.

What Does the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Include?

The gift card we've featured above is specifically for an individual membership. Here's everything that has been confirmed to be included as we head into the Switch 2 era.

Where You Can Buy the Original Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Ahead of the Switch 2 Release

2 avril 2025 à 18:17

Nintendo revealed all of the juicy details about the Switch 2 during its April Direct. The price of the new console wasn't too much of a surprise, but the reveal of the cost of first-party Switch 2 games at launch was definitely an eyebrow raiser. Most notably, Mario Kart World is going to cost $80 on its own at launch. In addition to that, Nintendo is launching a new line of Switch 2 accessories that have gotten similar price increases compared to the original Switch.

The only Switch 2 accessory I was concerned about was the new Switch 2 Pro controller, which is now priced at a whopping $80. I already have multiple Switch Pro controllers at home and would prefer not to have to buy a new version. Thankfully, Nintendo confirmed in its developer interview that the original Switch Pro controller will be compatible with Switch 2.

Where You Can Still Buy Switch Pro Controllers

While many folks will choose to opt for the newer Switch 2 Pro controller, it's not going to be necessary for most games. If you already have a Switch Pro controller, you should be fine holding onto that so you can save $80 to spend on new games. If you don't already have a Pro controller and are planning on buying the Switch 2, the standard Switch Pro controller is still a cheaper option right now at $69.99.

It's possible these older controllers could sell out before the Switch 2 arrives to make room for the newer controller. Amazon already has a signifcant lack of stock and is currently only offering third-party alternatives. Alongside compatiblity for the regular Switch Pro controller, Nintendo has also stated that the original Joy-Con controlllers will also be compatible – though we generally recommend the Switch Pro controller over Joy-Con for most games.

When Will the Switch 2 Pro Controller Be Available?

If the only accessory you really care about getting your hands on is the new Switch 2 Pro controller, you're going to have to wait until the console launches. The new controller will be officially available alongside the launch of the Switch 2 on June 5. You should be able to preorder the new console starting on April 9, which is likely when the official accessories will also become available for preorder. The Switch 2 Pro controller will only be compatible with the Switch 2, however, so you won't be able to use it on the standard Switch.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Gets a Huge Discount Again, But at Target This Time

1 avril 2025 à 23:40

The Google Pixel line has seen its fair share of discounts so far in 2025. Amazon and Best Buy have been dropping prices on the standard Pixel 9, Pro, and XL versions of this phone pretty much every month so far this year. Now Target has decided to get in on the action by dropping the price of the Pixel 9 Pro down to just $699. The last discount we saw on this phone was at Amazon back in February, so this is a great deal to take advantage of if you've been looking to upgrade.

I purchased a Pixel 8 during Prime Day last year when it went on sale and have loved the phone so far. It's a great alternative to the iPhone with an excellent camera and a pretty good battery life. The Pixel 9 series is the latest in the Pixel phone line, so it's the newest model you can buy.

The Best Google Pixel 9 Pro Deal Today

This deal is only available at Target right now and only for the Obsidian and Porcelain color options. The discounted price doesn't show up unless you add it to your cart, so if you don't initially see the price, that's why. It's also worth noting that only the 128GB version of the phone is available at this price, so you'll need to look elsewhere if you want increased storage.

If you're on the fence about the Pixel 9 Pro, you can check out our guide to the best overall smartphones for 2025. We've featured the Pixel 9 Pro as the best camera phone on the market. This is thanks to multiple excellent front and back cameras as well as AI-powered photo editing features that make it really easy to edit photos after you take them.

When Is the Next Line of Pixel Phones Coming Out?

If you are hoping to wait for the next generation of Pixel phones to arrive before you make a purchase, you will still need to wait quite a while. We expect Google to launch the Pixel 10 line sometime in August or early September. The new phones will usually come out a month or two before the new iPhones tend to release. There is also the Google Pixel 9A, which is set to come out on April 10. This should be Google's answer to the budget iPhone 16e.

Nintendo Switch Online, Explained: How Much Does a Subscription Cost?

2 avril 2025 à 17:10

With its online services allowing players to enjoy iconic games from previous console generations and access several expansions for some of its biggest releases, Nintendo bundles a lot into its pair of Nintendo Switch Online membership plans. For those hopping onto the Nintendo Store in search of some new Switch games to play, you can find a ton of added extras with the right subscription.

Now that Nintendo has confirmed that NSO will carry over to the Switch 2, we know for sure that these memberships will continue to provide the same perks, including retro game libraries, on the new console. In fact, a Nintendo Switch Online membership can help you secure a Switch 2 preorder, and will eventually be required to take advantage of the Switch 2's new GameChat features.

But which membership plan is right for you? With two plans available, it’s worth deciding which benefits you’re looking for from a Nintendo Switch Online membership and the best offers you can take advantage of when signing up.

Does Nintendo Switch Online Have a Free Trial?

Nintendo Switch Online offers a seven-day free trial of its basic membership, giving you access to online play in your existing Switch games as well as a wide range of NES, SNES, and Game Boy libraries. You can sign up for the free trial on your Switch or through the Nintendo Online website by signing into your Nintendo account and following the prompts when you head to the eShop. After your free trial, your subscription will automatically renew as a monthly subscription at $3.99/month. Keep in mind each Nintendo account is limited to one free trial period.

How Much Is Nintendo Switch Online?

There are two Nintendo Switch Online membership plans: Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Both plans can be purchased in an individual or family package, which affects the number of accounts with access to the plan’s benefits. We’ll run you through what each of these plans offer, the benefits and drawbacks, and the pricing.

Nintendo Switch Online: Individual - 1 month: $3.99, 3 months: $7.99, 1 year: $19.99

Nintendo Switch Online: Family - 1 year: $34.99

Additional Subscription Details

Nintendo Switch Online: Individual - 1 month: $3.99, 3 months: $7.99, 1 year: $19.99

The base Nintendo Switch Online package, this is the ideal pick for a player who’s the sole user of their Switch and mainly just wants to play online multiplayer. Offering full access to Nintendo’s online multiplayer services, after purchasing the pass, you’ll be granted access to the online portions of your favorite games, including GameChat features on the upcoming Switch 2.

There are also a few added extras. The full Switch Online NES, SNES and Game Boy games emulator libraries are included, featuring a curated list of games that includes classics like Super Mario Bros. 3, F-ZERO and Donkey Kong Country. As long as you have logged into your Nintendo Switch Online account in the last seven days, you’ll also be able to play these games offline, meaning you can take them with you on the go. However, at this price point, you won’t be able to play titles from the N64, Game Boy Advance, or SEGA Genesis emulator library.

Finally, you’ll get additional deals and offers, the ability to save your data to the cloud (allowing you to transfer saves between Switch consoles) and access to the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app.

One of the biggest selling points of this pass is that you don’t have to commit to paying for a yearlong membership from the outset. Although you will save $27 by paying for a full year up front, for those that largely play on other consoles and hop onto their Switch when a big new release hits stores, it means you can jump in and out of paying for Switch Online without having to purchase a full yearlong membership.

Nintendo Switch Online: Family - 1 year: $34.99

Nintendo Switch Online Family is practically identical to the Individual tier listed above but up to eight accounts can join. Unlike the Individual package, you have to pay for a year upfront with the family plan. For large households all using different accounts, it’s a much lower price than paying for eight Individual accounts separately.

As with the Individual plan, you’ll be granted access to online play for all of Nintendo’s multiplayer titles as well as the NES, SNES, and Game Boy emulated libraries. You can also expect member-exclusive offers and deals, the ability to save games to the cloud and full access to the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app.

The Nintendo Switch Online Family package is the best deal for large households mainly wanting to play online without any of the additional bonuses and features included in the Expansion Pack.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: Individual - 1 year: $49.99

For frequent Nintendo Switch players, the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass offers a few extra goodies for a bump in price. In the Individual package, you’ll get all of the features listed in the standard Nintendo Switch Online plan for one account, plus some additional emulators and expansion packs. It’s worth noting that you have to purchase a year’s subscription for the plan instead of being able to opt in monthly like you can with the standard Nintendo Switch Online package.

In terms of emulators, you’ll be able to hop into the N64 games, Game Boy Advance, and SEGA Genesis emulated libraries, allowing you to play a curated catalog of classic hits like Ocarina of Time, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario 64, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Metroid Fusion. Nintendo also recently added more Rare games to their Switch Online library. Announced during the April Nintendo Direct, Switch 2 users will also get access to a new GameCube Classics library, including the likes of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

You’ll also be able to access major expansions for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 2. It’s worth noting that each of these expansions can be purchased separately via the Nintendo Switch Online store if you want to play the DLCs without subscribing.

NSO + Expansion Pack subscribers will also get access to the Switch 2 Edition upgrades to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom for free, as long as you've already purchased the games on Switch.

The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Individual package is best suited for those looking to play some classic games on their Switch without having to source old consoles and games. If you’re mostly just looking to play with friends in multiplayer, you’re best opting for the standard Nintendo Switch Online plan rather than paying extra for the Expansion Pack upgrade.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: Family - 1 year: $79.99

As with the Individual version of the plan, the Family Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack package offers the N64, Game Boy Advance, and SEGA Genesis emulator libraries plus the Animal Crossing, Splatoon 2, and Mario Kart 8 expansions. The major difference is that up to eight accounts will be able to use these benefits simultaneously.

That’s also packaged with everything contained in the standard Nintendo Switch Online plan, including the NES, SNES, and Game Boy emulated libraries, online multiplayer, cloud saving, and exclusive deals and discounts.

The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Family package is best for households all wanting access to Nintendo Switch Online and the Expansion Pack’s various bonuses. However, the hike in price is much larger than the standard Nintendo Switch Online package, so it’s worth noting that the expansion packs included are purchasable separately if that’s mainly what you’re after.

The One Piece Film Red 4K Steelbook Drops to a New Low on Amazon as the Anime Returns for More Episodes

1 avril 2025 à 22:29

One Piece as a franchise has been getting a lot of extra attention lately. There's the live-action version of the show on Netflix, some highly anticipated LEGO One Piece sets, and even a recent collaboration with the NBA. Whether you're new to the series or have been around since the very beginning, there's never been a better time to be all-in on One Piece, especially with new episodes arriving next week as the anime returns from its six-month hiatus.

While the series seemingly has an endless amount of episodes – more than 1,000 to be more precise – One Piece has no shortage of movies either. The latest film in the franchise, One Piece: Red, was released back in 2022, but Amazon has only recently dropped the price of the 4K steelbook to a reasonable price. You can also find the same deal at the Crunchyroll store right now.

The Best One Piece Movie Deal at Amazon Today

Since this steelbook was first available on Amazon, it has not dropped below $29.79 as its lowest ever price. The discount that is happening now is largely thanks to the Crunchyroll store offering a price reduction alongside the Crunchyroll Anime Awards that are starting in April. If you're hoping to add this steelbook to your One Piece collection, right now is the best time to do so.

One Piece Film: Red is the most recent movie in the series and probably not the best place for a newcomer to jump right in. There are are actually a total of 15 One Piece movies in the franchise and they all fit in various points in the timeline. This particular movie takes place after episode 1030 on the One Piece timeline, so you have a long ways to go if you're just starting on The Romance Dawn Arc. If you're ready to start the ultimate anime marathon, One Piece is available on pretty much every anime streaming site, including Crunchyroll.

Where to Stream One Piece Film Red

If you want to stream this movie online rather than purchase a physical version, there are currently two main places you can watch it online with a subscription. The first is on Netflix, which has pretty much all of One Piece available to stream. The second option is a Premium Crunchyroll subscription, which does offer a free trial for new subscribers.
