The Apple TV Cyber Monday Deal Knocks Over 50% Off Your First 6 Months, Just in Time to Check Out Pluribus

1 décembre 2025 à 19:22

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are theoretically the best times to buy just about anything, but with ongoing price hikes, I’ll be the first to admit it’s getting harder to figure out what’s an actual deal. Rest assured, there is one certainty: Right now is definitely when you’ll find the lowest prices on streaming subscriptions.

We've seen plenty of Cyber Monday streaming deals go live, but Apple TV is offering one of the best discount on an ad-free subscription. Until midnight tonight, you can grab six months of Apple TV for $5.99/month.

Save Over 50% on Six Months of Apple TV

Apple TV has always kept it simple with a single ad-free subscription plan. The Cyber Monday deal offers six months of this subscription at a rate of $5.99/month, adding up to around $36 total. Six months at the regular Apple TV pricing, now $12.99/month after a recent price hike, would add up to around $78, making this over a 50% discount.

The deal is available to both new and returning subscribers, but there are some caveats. If you have Apple TV through a third party, like your internet plan, you unfortunately will not qualify. Same deal goes for if you happen to be eligible for the three-month free trial included with most Apple purchases, which I'd argue is a better deal anyway.

Aside from the $3 increase to its subscription cost, Apple TV also recently removed the “+” from its name as part of an ongoing rebrand. Per Apple's press release, the aim is to foster a "vibrant new identity."

That doesn’t seem to mean too much of a shift in their library. The big Apple TV exclusive right now is Pluribus, a new sci-fi series from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan that stars Rhea Seehorn. Other Apple TV staples include Severance, Silo, The Studio, and Ted Lasso. It may have a smaller library than something like Netflix, but Apple TV certainly has the juice.

When Does the Apple TV Deal End?

Apple TV states clearly on their site that the deal lasts until December 1 at 8pm PT.

More Cyber Monday Highlights So Far

On the streaming front, Crunchyroll has launched a Cyber Monday sale for the anime-inclined, while a Walmart+ deal is currently your best bet for Peacock or Paramount+. You can check out some more streaming highlights below.

Otherwise, Amazon has already launched its big sale, which happens to include plenty of Apple products. You can check out our full breakdown of Cyber Monday for more guidance through the deals chaos.

Rare Crunchyroll Cyber Monday Deal Is Your Last Chance to Save on Anime Streaming

1 décembre 2025 à 17:55

We're at the end of the seemingly endless saga that is Black Friday season. The Crunchyroll Store has been having sales all month long, discounting its spread of DVDs, figures, and anime merch. However, for Cyber Monday, the service is also offering an incredibly rare deal on what I think most people actually use it for: anime streaming. Until tonight, you can get $20 off annual Mega Fan subscriptions, which already offer some savings over the monthly price.

Get $20 Off 12 Months of Mega Fan Crunchyroll for Cyber Monday

Now, $20 off a $120 subscription is not exactly incredible in the grand scheme of things. Across Cyber Monday streaming deals, we've seen closer to 70% discounts on major services like Disney+ and Apple TV. However, Crunchyroll has historically been on the Netflix side of things by never discounting their streaming plans, at least not by themselves. As such, $20 off is pretty much the best deal I’ve seen.

Mega Fan subscriptions typically cost $11.99/month, which would add up to a little over $143/year. The annual subscription usually costs $119.99, already offering around a 16% discount over the monthly cost. The Cyber Monday deal increases that discount to 30%.

Crunchyroll was also kind enough to offer a firm timeline on how long the discount will be available: until midnight on Cyber Monday. That's tonight, by the way. If you do get a subscription sooner rather than later, you can stack a membership discount on top of any existing Cyber Monday deals in the Crunchyroll Store.

You Can Also Get Two Months for $2.99 Through Prime Video

If you are dedicated to the monthly subscription side, you also have options! Amazon’s Cyber Monday sale has already gone live and features a spread of discounts on Prime Video Channel Add-Ons.

This is really only a deal if you’re already a Prime Member (which is 50% off for anyone aged 18-24), but if the Prime subscription is already baked into your spending bill, you can grab two months of Crunchyroll for $2.99/month. Just try and remember that your subscription will automatically renew at the standard $11.99/month pricing after those two months.

What About the Other Crunchyroll Plans?

The Crunchyroll Mega Fan plan is ideal for anyone who just wants to stream as much anime as possible. You get unlimited, ad-free viewing of everything on the site on up to four devices. You can also download anime to take on the road.

While this mid-tier plan is the only one with a discount, you can still sign up for a seven-day free trial for the cheaper “Fan” plan, which includes ads and a limited library, or the priciest ‘Ultimate Fan’ plan, which now includes access to Crunchyroll manga.

Final Fantasy Games Are Still at All-Time Low Prices on Cyber Monday

1 décembre 2025 à 16:02

If you've been waiting for the right time to bulk up your gaming library, now's your chance. Massive Cyber Monday deals from Nintendo, Xbox, and Amazon are still live following Black Friday. In addition, PlayStation also has many great discounts available on games, accessories, and even PS5 consoles.

While it's worth checking your wishlist and doing some scrolling, as a starting point, we're seeing great discounts for anyone looking to start or fill in the gaps on a Final Fantasy collection.

Final Fantasy Games on Sale for Cyber Monday

Overall, you’ve got options. The PlayStation Store offers the best discounts on the FF7 Remakes, but Amazon is actually offering physical copies. It really comes down to how much you care about having those games lined up on your shelf vs. sitting in your digital library. If you’re on the PC side, Steam is also running a PlayStation publisher sale that includes roughly the same discounts.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Collection is pretty unreal bang for your buck. It includes the pixel remasters of the first six Final Fantasy games for just $40 total with the current price drop, making it a great choice for something you can really dig into over the holidays. The discount also applies to the Nintendo Switch version.

While we wait for news on the third and final part of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy, you can pick up the first two games at a discount. Remake Intergrade (Intergrade just meaning the PS5 version) has dropped to $19.99 for physical and $14.99 for digital.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, released just last year, has dropped to a whopping $29.99 for the physical copy on Amazon and $34.99 through PlayStation. Michael Higham's 9/10 review of Rebirth for IGN describes how it "impressively builds off of what Remake set in motion as both a best-in-class action-RPG full of exciting challenge and depth, and as an awe-inspiring recreation of a world that has meant so much to so many for so long."

The most recent mainline release, Final Fantasy XVI, has dropped to its lowest ever price on Amazon, which happens to be $5 cheaper than you can find it on the PlayStation Store.

More PlayStation Cyber Monday Deals

PlayStation has knocked $100 off both its PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles, the only real console deals we'd seen this year up until a surprise Cyber Monday discount on the Switch 2. There’s also PlayStation Plus discounts and a spread of DualSense controllers on sale, including my personal favorite, the limited edition Ghost of Yotei version.

The Disney+ and Hulu Cyber Monday Streaming Deal Drops the Monthly Bundle Price to $4.99, Ends Tonight

1 décembre 2025 à 15:54

If you were burned by the latest round of Disney+ and Hulu price hikes, here's some Cyber Monday balm: Disney is offering and ad-supported bundle of both services for $4.99/mo or the ad-free bundle for $14.99/mo. Jump on it quickly, though – the deals are only running through midnight tonight.

Get 12 Months of Disney+ with Hulu for $4.99/mo

Disney+ with Hulu bundle with ads usually costs $12.99 per month, but at $4.99 a month, subscribers will save close to $100 for the year. That's quite a deal at a time when streaming plans are pricier than ever. It's easily the cheapest way to get caught up on all things Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. With Hulu, you’ll get an unreal batch of comfort shows like Always Sunny, Abbott Elementary, and New Girl as well as more dramatic Hulu originals like Shōgun and The Handmaid’s Tale.

Ad-Free Bundle Also Discounted

The big catch, of course, is you’re stuck with ads. Good thing that, unlike other streaming services, Disney has discounted the ad-free Disney+ with Hulu Premium bundle for Black Friday. It's not quite as big a discount by percentage, at $5 off a $19.99-per-month subscription, but that's still $60 in savings for a year of watching all the Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar you can handle, with no startling ad breaks jammed in.

When Does the Sale End?

Both deals are live until midnight on December 1. Because the deal lasts for a full year, you’ll be all set until the next round of Black Friday discounts.

More Cyber Monday Streaming Deals

Pretty much every Cyber Monday streaming deal is live until midnight. If you’re already a Hulu subscriber, you can tack HBO Max into your subscription as a Premium Add-On for $2.99/mo, over 70% off the standard price. That deal is also available through HBO Max itself.

Unfortunately we're not seeing any deals on standalone Hulu, but Apple TV is offering six months at $5.99/mo, while Crunchyroll has knocked $20 off its annual ad-free subscription plans. The new Disney+ bundle with ESPN Unlimited is also still discounted for new subscribers.

You can also check out what's coming to Disney+ next month for a sneak peek at what you're paying for. If you’re in the market for more than just subscriptions, feel free to scroll through our full breakdown of this year's Cyber Monday deals.

Cyber Monday Streaming Deals Are Your Best Chance to Save on Disney+, HBO Max, Apple TV

1 décembre 2025 à 14:25

Cyber Monday is your last chance to scoop up streaming services for their lowest prices of the year. Some of these discounts last a full 12 months, setting you up until the next round of Black Friday deals.

Yes, the deals aren’t as good as last year’s. Pretty much every service has increased their prices since then, so I think it’s fair to debate what’s worth keeping. Heck, I’d check out some 4K and Blu-ray deals for your favorite movies or comfort shows. That said, if you’re dedicated to certain subscriptions, you might as well get them at the lowest price possible.

Here’s what Cyber Monday streaming deals are on offer this year, most of which last until midnight on December 1.

Cyber Monday Streaming Deals 2025

Here’s the big spread. You can learn more about some of my top recommendations below or check out our full breakdown of Cyber Monday sales for more guidance through the deals chaos.

Disney+ and Hulu Deals

By far and away one of the most popular Black Friday deals we’ve seen at IGN this year is the Disney+ discount. While there aren’t any standalone offers for either service, Disney+ and Hulu are offering 12 months of their ad-supported bundle for $4.99 each month or the same bundle without ads for $14.99.

The ad-supported deal is $2 more expensive than last year, which roughly equates with the price increases on both services since then. On the plus side, this is the first Disney+ Cyber Monday deal we’ve seen on the ad-free plan.

HBO Max Deal: 12 Months for $2.99

The best deal this year by the numbers is also the one that locks you into ads. HBO Max is offering a full year of its Basic subscription plan for $2.99 each month. That's over 70% off the regular rate of $10.99. The discount is also available as an add-on through Hulu if you’re trying to keep your subscriptions in one place.

Apple TV Deal: 6 Months for $5.99

One of my top recommendations from this list, Apple TV only offers one subscription plan, so you’re never getting ads. With six months for $5.99 each month instead of $11.99, you get that colorful new intro as well as access to some of the best TV shows from the past couple of years. (Looking at you, Severance.) If you’re looking for the quality of the HBO Max library but without the ads, I’d give this one a try.

Crunchyroll Deal: $20 Off 12 Months of Mega Fan

Not the prettiest numbers I've ever seen, but I'm giving the anime streaming service some credit because I wasn't expecting any Cyber Monday deals from them at all. If you're already paying for Crunchyroll, you might as well get a full year for as cheap as you can. The Mega Fan membership includes the full Crunchyroll anime library without ads and also gives you an extra 15% discount on all of the merch and home video releases in the Crunchyroll Store.

Paramount+ Deal: 2 Months for $2.99

Paramount+ is offering what I’d consider an extended free trial. You get two months of the ad-free Premium plan, which includes the Showtime library, for $2.99 each month, adding up to just shy of $6. At least that’s enough time to catch up on the new South Park episodes.

If you’re interested in Paramount+ specifically for next year’s UFC matches, note that the partnership kicks off on January 24, pretty much exactly when this deal ends. With that in mind, I’d actually recommend the next deal on this list instead.

Peacock Deal: 50% Off Walmart+ Subscriptions

I can’t hide my feelings: Peacock is the big disappointment of this year’s Cyber Monday deals. The streaming service, which did recently launch a new bundle with Apple TV, has not brought back their ‘full year for $19.99’ deal from last year.

Instead, the best deal you can get for Peacock right now is actually through Walmart. Walmart+ subscriptions include either Paramount+ or Peacock Premium, and annual plans have dropped from $98 to $49 upfront. This is also your best shot at getting a Paramount+ deal that lasts through next year’s UFC schedule.

Even if you don’t shop at Walmart, these are the best prices you’ll get on either of these services over a full year. You’ll also get free shipping, member-exclusive discounts, and early access to new releases like Pokemon TCG drops.

Cyber Monday Streaming Deals FAQ

What’s the best streaming deal for sports?

Sports streaming is a mess, to be honest, and the best deal really comes down to which channels or leagues you care about watching. In terms of pricing, the new Disney+ bundle with ESPN Unlimited is discounted to $29.99/mo for new subscribers until January, significantly lower than most live TV subscriptions. An alternative, YouTube TV, is down to $72.99 from $82.99 for your first three months.

Is there a Netflix Cyber Monday deal?

Nope. Netflix never has discounts, and I sincerely doubt that will change any time soon.

  • The Great Christmas Fight Light (S13)

December 12

  • The End of an Era (Premiere)
  • Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show

This one’s for the Swifties, who I am sure have already booked this date in their calendar. The End of an Era behind-the-scenes documentary will premiere its first two episodes at the same time as the live concert recording of the final Eras tour performance in Vancouver.

December 26

  • The End of an Era (Finale)

All good things must come to an end. Sorry, Swifties.

December 30

  • Project Runway S5-8

Not too much reality TV this month, but Disney+ is picking up a couple more of the older seasons of Project Runway.

December 31

  • Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out S1
  • Little Angel S8
  • Percy Jackson & the Olympians S2 (New Episodes)
  • Made in Korea (New Episodes)
  • Strangest Things S3

To top off the month, you’re getting another spread of weekly releases as well as a very TikTok-coded Lifetime series about Dr. Sandra Lee’s dermatology practice.

Finally, not to be confused with the new episodes of Stranger Things coming to Netflix on the same day, Strangest Things is a Nat Geo series about mysterious objects from across the globe.

Black Friday Streaming Deals End Tomorrow Night

They’re basically Cyber Monday deals now, but either way, this year's slate of streaming discounts last until Monday at midnight. Aside from the Disney+ and Hulu deal, we’ve seen solid discounts on HBO Max, Crunchyroll, and Apple TV. You can check out the full spread of highlights above.

Black Friday Streaming Deals Are Still Live This Weekend: Save on Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max

29 novembre 2025 à 19:22

From now until December 1, you can stock up on Black Friday discounts from pretty much any streaming service. The only caveats? Some services limit their deals to new subscribers, and the lowest prices are always on subscriptions with ads.

It’s worth double-checking what you already have, but if you’re committed to a specific service, you might as well lock it down now at its cheapest price of the year. Without further ado, here is this year's lineup of Black Friday streaming deals.

The Best Black Friday Streaming Deals for 2025

Here’s the big list if you’re happy to scroll and check out each deal from the source. I’ve also broken down each deal below. In general, most discounts last until midnight on December 1, otherwise known as Cyber Monday.

12 Months of Disney and Hulu for $4.99/mo

Disney+ and Hulu have dropped standalone deals entirely, instead opting to only offer a discount on their bundled plan. The plus side? The discount lasts a full 12 months.

Right now, you can get a full year of Disney+ and Hulu with ads for $4.99 each month. The ad-free version of the bundle has a slightly smaller discount, dropping the monthly price from $19.99 to $14.99. Both deals are available to new and returning “eligible” subscribers, which pretty much includes anyone who hasn’t already paid for an annual plan.

I personally cancelled my Disney+ when the most recent price hike took effect in October, and this is enough to get me back into it. Yes, I’m a slave to the machine. Getting a full year at a discount is well worth it if these are the staple streaming services in your life.

2 Months of Paramount+ for $2.99/mo

Paramount has been making plenty of moves recently, including a massive acquisition of the streaming rights to South Park. If any Paramount franchises have caught your eye, you can try out the service for two months at $2.99 each month, adding up to around $6 total. Just enough time to get in a Mission Impossible marathon or catch up on new Star Trek spin-offs. This discount is available to both new and returning subscribers who have previously cancelled their subscription.

12 Months of HBO Max for $2.99/mo

One of the best Black Friday discounts overall

One of the best Black Friday discounts overall, HBO Max is offering a full year of its ad-supported plan at a rate of $2.99/month to both new and returning subscribers. That’s over 70% off the standard rate of $10.99/month. If you’re trying to keep all your subscriptions in one place, this deal is also available as a Channel Add-On through Hulu. Unfortunately, we’re not seeing any discounts on the ad-free plan.

6 Months of Apple TV for $5.99/mo

Apple TV has always kept it simple with a single subscription plan, which means its Black Friday deal actually gets you an ad-free subscription. Get your first six months for $5.99/mo, just in time to jump on the Pluribus or finally see what the Severance hype was all about. This deal is open to anyone who isn't already eligible for a three-month Apple TV trial from a recent Apple purchase, which is honestly a better deal anyways.

$20 Off 12 Months of Mega Fan Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll was a surprise for me, as it's typically on the Netflix wave of “never discount your streaming subscription.” This year, the anime service dropped a surprise Black Friday deal that knocks $20 off annual Mega Fan subscriptions. This is the ad-free plan that gives you unlimited access to Crunchyroll’s library as well as a 15% discount at the Crunchyroll Store. Not a doorstopping discount, but certainly the lowest we’ll get for the best anime streaming service.

50% Off Walmart+ Subscriptions, Which Include Paramount+ or Peacock Premium

It's official: We're not seeing the return of Peacock's killer Black Friday deal from last year. The service did recently announce a new bundle with Apple TV, but the actual best deal you can get on the comfort-filled streaming library is through Walmart. Annual Walmart+ memberships have dropped 50%, from $98 to $49, and they happen to include a Paramount+ or Peacock Premium subscription.

Aside from being the only real deal we've seen on Peacock, this is also your best shot at getting a Paramount+ subscription that'll actually cover next year's UFC season.

17% Discount on Disney+, ESPN Unlimited, and Hulu Bundle

Sports streaming is a mess and isn't likely to get cleaned up any time soon. If you do happen to be in the market for a sports-oriented streaming service, Disney+ has a slight discount on its new bundle with ESPN Unlimited for new subscribers.

Unlike the rest of the deals on this list, this discount isn’t going anywhere on Cyber Monday. Instead, it lasts through the start of January. I'd recommend doing some research about what's included in ESPN Unlimited compared to other live TV streaming services to make sure you're getting channels you're actually interested in.

Black Friday Streaming Deals FAQ

What’s the best Black Friday streaming deal?

This one really comes down to you, because any streaming library is only worth as much as you enjoy it. The big questions I’d ask are what you already pay for, what you’re looking for in a streaming library, and how much you care about ads.

In general, the HBO Max deal is pretty darn good, but you’re stuck with ads for the full year. If you’re interested in a similar quality of programming but without the ads, I’d check out Apple TV.

The Crunchyroll deal might not be as pretty of a number, but if you’d be signing up for the anime anyways, you might as well get the $20 discount. Same goes for Disney+ and Hulu. If these are staples in your household, even the $14.99 ad-free price will save you a decent chunk over the course of a year.

Does Netflix have a Black Friday deal?

Nope. As far as I know, and I check pretty much every day, Netflix has never had a Black Friday deal. Unfortunately, 2025 isn't looking like the year that changes. If you're debating whether to stick with the full-price subscription, you might as well check out what Netflix is adding to its library next month.
