That means it's superior to the more mainstream LG C5. Although both TVs are equipped with a premium "Evo" panel that's already better than traditional W-OLED TVs, the G-series goes one step further by incorporating MLA (micro lens array) technology, which significantly improves brightness.

We picked the LG Gallery series as one of our favorite TVs for gaming. It has all the features you'd want in a current generation gaming TV, including a native 120Hz-165Hz panel and four HDMI 2.1 ports that can run games in 4K at 120Hz on a PS5 or Xbox Series X console. It supports variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM).

The LEGO Spider-Man Daily Bugle 76178 is an impressively sized build measuring 32" tall, 10" wide, and 10" deep with a brick count of 3,789 pieces. This is a four-story rendition of the famous newspaper building, including the offices of demanding editor J. Jonah Jameson and budding photographer Peter Parker. The collection of mini-figures includes Doctor Octopus, Spider-Man, Venom, Miles Morales, Spider-Ham, Green Goblin, Peter Parker, Spider-Gwen, Mysterio, Sandman, Robbie Robertson, and even some characters unique to this set like Blade the vampire hunter, J. As you should already know, the Switch 2 console will only accept MicroSD Express cards. If you have a standard MicroSD card from your previous Switch, you sadly won't be able to use it to store games in the Switch 2. Although the two might look similar, MicroSD Express cards are much, much faster than their precedessors, with speeds of up to 800MB/s. Most MicroSD cards cap out at well under 200MB/s.

The LEGO Icons Vespa 125 is a collaboration between LEGO and Vespa to produce a replica of the real-life Vespa scooters popularized in the 1960s. The finished build measures an impressive 19" long, 11" tall, and 4 inches wide. The finished model is well proportioned and looks great from all angles. Details include a front wheel mounted on one side, a removable engine cover with a brick-built engine underneath, working steering and kickstand, classic 1960s Italian license plate, helmet, and a basket with a miniature flower bouquet.

A special mention should be given to the color scheme. Although SSDs are all the rage these days, traditional hard drives are still the superior choice for long term storage. The Bose QuietComfort is just a rename of the QuietComfort 45 with more color options. That's a good thing, because the QC45 was highly praised for its sound, noise canceling performance and all-day comfort.

Prospective VR gamers, there's no better time to immerse yourself in real next-gen gaming. Best Buy has discounted both Meta Quest 3S models ($249 for the 128GB model and $329 for the 256GB model) and is also throwing in a bonus $50 Best Buy gift card with either purchase. That's basically getting a Quest 3S headset for as low as $199. You also get a free game: The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners for the 128GB model - a Best Buy exclusive bundle.

The Meta Quest 3S is the best standalone consumer-oriented VR headset under $300. I'd say that you'd likely have to wait until mid to late 2026 before prices stabilize again. I'd recommend getting one now so you don't need to worry about running out of space.

Even after all these years, the Nvidia Shield Android TV Pro sits atop the throne as the best Android-based streaming box on the market. For Cyber Monday, you can get it on sale for just $169.99 after a 15% off discount. This deal isn't exactly an exclusive - it's also available at Amazon - but Best Buy is most likely to have it in stock for the longest.

Make no mistake the Shield TV Pro beats the Roku, Apple TV, Fire Stick, Chromecast, and just about every other media player in terms of performance and functionality. It's capable of handling 4K video with Dolby Vision HDR from all of your favorite streaming apps as well as Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus audio support. The Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones is the 2025 successor to the WH-1000XM5 that was released back in 2022. Both sound quality and noise cancelation have been noticeably improved on the XM6 thanks to a more powerful QN3 audio processor and a total of 12 beam-forming microphones that do a great job of picking up and cancelling out unwanted noise. The XM6 is also more comfortable to wear because of the hinged earcups. The same design also allows the XM6 to be more easily stowed away since the earcups can be folded inwards to fit in a smaller carrying case. It can last up to 30 hours on a single charge, and a quick 3 minute top-up over USB Type-C will give you up to 3 hours of continuous playback. You can save some money by going with an older generation XM5 or even the XM4, but as long as it is within your budget, the XM6's improvements in sound quality, noise cancelation, and ergonomics makes the new model worth it.

LG's OLED TVs have been our favorite TVs for console gaming for three years running thanks to their outstanding image quality, low input lag, and high refresh rate. The 2025 C5 uses LG's proprietary Evo panel, which is significantly brighter and offers a wider color gamut than traditional W-OLED TVs.

Aside from higher production costs, there's no downside to this technology; the C5 boasts the near-infinite black levels, near-infinite contrast ratio, and near-instantaneous response times you'd expect from any OLED TV. This is easily the best TV for streaming 4K HDR content in its intended glory.

The LG C5 has the necessary gaming features as well, including a native 120Hz panel that can be pushed to as high as 144Hz, HDMI 2.1 inputs for running PS5 games in 4K at up to 120fps, variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM). The C5 is also lightweight for its size because the rear cabinet housing is made of a composite fiber; for example, this 65" model weighs only 36 pounds without the stand, making it much easier to wall mount.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 series is a higher-end model featuring an aluminum top and durable plastic bottom. It weighs in at about 5.6 pounds. The gorgeous 16" OLED display has a 2.5K 189ppi resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, HDR 1000 True Black certification, and 100% DCI-P3 color range. The Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX has a max turbo frequency of 5.1GHz with 16 total cores. According to PassMark, the Core Ultra 7 255HX is Intel's fourth best mobile gaming chip and beats out every AMD CPU. This is a great processor for both gaming and workstation use, and a good match with the GPU.

The GeForce RTX 5070 is about 10% better than the RTX 4070

The mobile RTX 5070 GPU performs about 5%-10% better than the RTX 4070 that it replaces. That's not a very big generational improvement, but the RTX 5070 has the newer DLSS 4 technology with multi-frame generation, which widens the performance gap in games that support it. DLSS 4.0. This GPU is a good match with the display's enhanced 2560x1600 resolution and bumping up to the next GPU in the stack (RTX 5070 Ti mobile) will cost you hundreds more.

New for 2025: The Alienware Area-51 Chassis

Dell unveiled the new Alienware Area-51 gaming PC at CES 2025. The chassis is a super-sized upgrade to the 2024 R16 system with aesthetic and cooling redesigns and updated components. The I/O panel is positioned at the top of the case instead of the front, and the tempered glass window now spans the entire side panel instead of just a smaller cutout. As a result, the side panel vents are gone, and instead air intakes are located at the bottom as well as the front of the case. Alienware is now pushing a positive airflow design (more intake than exhaust airflow), which means a less dusty interior. The internal components have been refreshed with a new motherboard, faster RAM, and bigger power supply to accommodate the new generation of CPUs and GPUs.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 has emerged as the most powerful consumer GPU on the market. Although with this generation Nvidia has prioritized software updates, AI features, and DLSS 4 technology to improve gameplay performance, the 5090 still boasts an impressive 25%-30% uplift over the RTX 4090 in hardware-based raster performance. If you want the absolute best performance for your gaming PC, there is literally no other option from any other brand.

This particular Lenovo Legion Go S is equipped with the more powerful AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, 32GB of RAM, 512GB storage capacity, and it runs off SteamOS instead of Windows. The Z1 Extreme is much more powerful than the APU found in the Steam Deck and as such, it will outperform the Steam Deck in pretty much any situation. Graphics also look sharper with more fluid movement, thanks to a bigger 8" 1200p display with a higher 120Hz refresh rate. The Legion Go S also supports a much higher maximum charging rate (up to 100W vs 40W for the Steam Deck). This deal prices the Legion Go S on par with the highest end Steam Deck, but it's superior in almost every way.

Since a Steam Deck with equivalent specs will still cost you $549, this is a much better value: you get more features and pay less money.

Xbox Ally Z2 A Windows Edition

The Xbox Ally was released last month, with the AMD Ryzen Z2 A model retailing for $599.99. For Cyber Monday, Antonline (via Walmart) is throwing in an Xbox controller. The Xbox Ally is based on the ROG Ally X platform but with Microsoft's collaboration. If you're pinching pennies, you won't find a less expensive gaming handheld PC. Every Steam Deck is equipped with the same processor, so the base model will still run games just as smoothly as the highest end $650 system. Despite its affordable price point, it offers all the benefits of the iOS operating system with premium build quality and snappy performance. The 11th generation model is equipped with an 11" 264ppi Liquid Retina display, A16 Bionic chip, and starts at 128GB of internal storage. This model doesn't support Apple Intelligence, so you'll need to move up the ladder if you want Apple's new AI tech.

However, the processor isn't the only reason why the iPad Pro is superior to all other iPads. It's also the only tablet, Apple or otherwise, equipped with a tandem OLED display. Tandem OLED is better than traditional OLED (which is already best-in-class) for two reasons: 1) it's far brighter, and 2) it's less prone to burn-in. If you're wondering why this technology hasn't found its way into TVs, the answer is simply because it's not cost-effective at larger sizes. The iPad can get away with it because the display is smaller, but that's also a reason for the premium price point.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX is a 20-core processor with a max turbo frequency of 5.2GHz. In terms of gaming performance, upgrading to an Ultra 9 would be a waste of money. Games are typically GPU-bound, so getting the best GPU within your budget should be the highest priority. Most games also can't utilize more than 4-8 cores, so the extra cores on the Core Ultra 9 are unnecessary. The Ultra 9 275HX does have a slightly higher clock speed (5.4GHz vs 5.2GHz) but that's just a 4% difference in performance, completely unnoticeable in actual gameplay.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU can handle the most demanding games

The RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU is comparable in performance to the previous generation's RTX 4080 and pulls ahead of it in games that support DLSS 4. It should be able to handle even the newest and most demanding games like Ghost of Yotei, Battlefield 6, and Borderlands 4 on the native 1920x1200 resolution. It can also run the same games at 2560x1600 if you opt for the OLED upgrade, although you may have to minimally tweak some graphics settings to maintain 60fps.

LG's OLED TVs have been our favorite TVs for console gaming for three years running thanks to their outstanding image quality, low input lag, and high refresh rate.
