Viral video shows a group of young Jewish men being attacked and threatened while riding the subway in Brooklyn on Monday night -- and police are investigating the incident as a hate crime.

Nick Reiner, 32, is scheduled to make his initial appearance at the Los Angeles Municipal Court at 8:30 a.m. PST. where prosecutors will file formal charges against him.

Police hosted a disorganized press conference there hours later, but revealed minimal details about the slaying — and did not even identify Reiner and his wife as the victims.
