Alienware's new mainstream gaming laptop for 2025 is dubbed the "Alienware Aurora" and it replaces the previous generation's x16 and m16 series of laptops. It comes in two models: the 16 and 16X. The 16 is the more economical model, but gamers should definitely opt for the higher-end 16X model. If you're looking for build quality and performance on par with the previous generation m16, then the 16X is its spiritual successor. It features an anodized aluminum lid and base, a higher quality display, a more powerful CPU, and a GPU that isn't throttled for maximum gaming performance.

Alienware Aurora R16 Gaming PC Deals

The Aurora R16 is Alienware's bread and butter gaming PC. The chassis is a super-sized upgrade to the Aurora R16 system with aesthetic and cooling redesigns. The internal components have been refreshed with a new motherboard, faster RAM, and bigger power supply to accommodate the new generation of CPUs and GPUs. With a high-end system like this, it's only fitting that it be equipped with an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 graphics card, so these are the configurations I've listed here. Cooling has been upgraded with generous amounts of copper and a new thermal interface material to better transfer heat away from your hottest components as well as more fans and bigger cutouts for greater airflow. Dell claims that the laptop can handle a higher power ceiling of up to 240W TDP without raising acoustics.

Design-wise, the Area 51 has a sleeker, more contoured shape compared to previous models, with rounded edges and soft corners replacing the traditional squared off design. The hinges are internally positioned so that they're near invisible. There's a transparent window on the undercarriage to show off the internal components. As befits an Alienware laptop, there's plenty of RGB illunimation, although most of it can be turned off if you want your laptop to be a bit more subtle.

The Apple AirPods Pro 3 Drops Back Down to $199, Target Is Still Offering Delivery by Christmas

Heads up: AirPods Pro 3 earbuds just got a new price cut that beats all previous deals, including Black Friday. Several retailers have once again lowered the price of the Apple AirPods Pro 3 earbuds to $199. That's $20 lower than the Black Friday sale price, and a big drop compared to the retail price of $249. This would make a fantastic (albeit extremely generous) gift for any iOS user, even if that person already has an older generation AirPods Pro. Some of the retailers can still have it delivered by Christmas, although at this point you certainly don't want to dawdle.

Update: If you want to get it by Christmas, get it from Target.

AirPods Pro 3 Earbuds for $199 (New All-Time Low Price)

The AirPods Pro 3 launched on September 19, so it's just over 2 months old and you can already get it for over 30% off. Like its predecessor, this is easily the best earbuds for anyone who uses an iPhone. Although it looks pretty similar to the 2nd gen AirPods, there are some pretty significant improvements under the hood. The most notable new feature is the built-in heart rate sensing, but the AirPods Pro 3 improves in other subtle ways as well, including better audio quality, better noise cancelation, long battery life, and a more weatherproof IP57 shell.

Released alongside the AirPods Pro 3 was Apple's "Live Translation", which is an Apple Intelligence feature that will translate other languages on the fly. Nintendo Switch 2 compatible

As you should already know, the Switch 2 console will only accept MicroSD Express cards. If you have a standard MicroSD card from your previous Switch, you sadly won't be able to use it to store games in the Switch 2. Although the two might look similar, MicroSD Express cards are much, much faster than their precedessors, with speeds of up to 800MB/s. Most MicroSD cards cap out at well under 200MB/s.

The RTX 5060 Ti (8GB) is a great GPU for 1080p gaming. It outperforms the RTX 4060 Ti by about 20%, but the gap widens in games that support DLSS 4 technology with multi-frame generation. It's also obviously better than the RTX 5060. Note that because this graphics card has 8GB of VRAM, it's not the ideal card for high resolution (1440p or 4K) gaming. However, if you're intending to play at strictly 1080p, then it should handle any game out there.

Just in time for Christmas, Target has lowered price of the latest 2025 Apple iPad Air 11" M3 128GB tablet to the lowest price of the year. Right now you can pick up the 128GB WiFi model for $399.99 after a $200 off discount (normally $599). This beats the lowest price I saw during Black Friday and Cyber Monday by $50. 2025 Apple iPad Air 11" M3 128GB for $399.99

The iPad Air M3 is the newest generation iPad Air that was released earlier in March. The biggest upgrade is the Apple M3 chip, which is about 20% faster than the M2 chip found on the previous generation model. The inclusion of the M3 chip also means that the new iPad Air now supports Apple Intelligence, which isn't available on any earlier iPad Air model.

The rest of the specs are pretty much identical to its predecessors. The iPad Air boasts an 11" 2360x1640 (264ppi) Liquid Retina display with P3 Wide Color and True Tone that's better quality than the screen found on the standard iPad. Storage capacity starts at 128GB but 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities are also available (and they're all currently discounted). In fact, the newer model Magic Keyboard that was released earlier this year is specifically catered to the iPad Air.

Give the gift of Sonos for Christmas. That's nearly $500 less than its original retail price of $900. It's a better value than picking up the Arc Ultra, currently "on sale" for $879.

The release of the Arc Ultra doesn't make the Arc any less of an outstanding speaker. During Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there were surprisingly few GPU deals. Fortunately, if you've been waiting for one of the more affordable Blackwell cards to come back in stock at a reputable retailer, there are a couple of good deals available right now. Walmart is offering two GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card models starting at just $489 shipped. That's better than most 5070 deals I've seen because both GPUs feature a triple-fan cooling system. The RTX 5070 is an excellent GPU for gaming at up to 1440p at comfortable framerates, and even at 4K with the help of DLSS4.

DLSS4 also makes the 5070 a viable card for 4K gaming. This particular Gigabyte model has a triple-fan cooling system, which has the potential to run cooler and quieter than two-fan cards.

The only problem was that they were out of stock for the majority of the time and all but disappeared after Cyber Monday ended. LG Evo C5 4K OLED Smart TV Black Friday Deals Are Back

LG's OLED TVs have been our favorite TVs for console gaming for three years running thanks to their outstanding image quality, low input lag, and high refresh rate. The 2025 C5 uses LG's proprietary Evo panel, which is significantly brighter and offers a wider color gamut than traditional W-OLED TVs.

Aside from higher production costs, there's no downside to this technology; the C5 boasts the near-infinite black levels, near-infinite contrast ratio, and near-instantaneous response times you'd expect from any OLED TV. This is easily the best TV for streaming 4K HDR content in its intended glory.

The Meta Quest 3 is the best standalone consumer-oriented VR headset. There's a good reason why it costs $200 more (at retail) compared to the more entry level Quest 3S. The Meta Quest 3S is the best standalone consumer-oriented VR headset under $300. It retails for 40% less than the Quest 3 and yet retains most of its hardware and functionality, including the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, Touch Plus controllers with inside-out tracking, and mixed reality passthrough. However, whereas the Quest 3 has been updated with a new pancake lens design, the Quest 3S retains the Fresnel optics of the Quest 2. Although obviously not as good as the Quest 3, the Quest 3S still very much offers an immersive visual experience that is sure to impress. I myself logged in hundreds of hours on the Quest 2 before I moved on to the Quest 3. For newcomers who want to try out VR gaming without investing tons of money, of for people who want to give this as a gift to someone who's never tried VR, I would recommend the Quest 3S over the Quest, especially at this price.
