3D printers are the future. In fact, according to Fortune Business Insights, "The global 3D printing market size was valued at USD 22.39 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow from USD 27.52 billion in 2024 to USD 150.20 billion by 2032." I firmly believe that one day we'll use 3D printing to make all kinds of things to use in our daily lives (but can we get to the incredible 'food' level, like in Star Trek: The Next Generation?).
Although right now they're still a little more niche for the regular consumer and more common for company use, creatives and collectible enthusiasts are still in the market for one. 3D printers are great tools to make parts, crafts, figures, statues, and other useful things. You can even use them to 3D print your own unique D&D figures and miniatures! If you're into miniatures and model kits, you may want to look into 3D printer deals this Black Friday. You can save hundreds on the FlashForge Adventurer 3D printer at Walmart and Amazon right now. Scroll on for more info and tips about 3D printing, a fascinating new niche hobby in the gaming community.

iFixit might be a familiar brand name for you from all of the helpful teardown videos of various electronics that've hosted on YouTube. Well, they also sell an extremely practical and high quality toolkit that helps you do the same. For the final hours of Black Friday, Amazon is offering the iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit for electronics, smartphones, gaming consoles, PCs and laptops, and tablets for only $59.96. It normally retails for $75 and we've only seen a price drop only once this year back in May. This is one of the very best tool kits you can buy for disassembling and repairing your electronics -- including your Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck -- without spending hundreds of dollars on a commercial kit.
iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit
The iFixit Pro Tech Tookit contains pretty much every tool you'll ever need to get inside your electronics. The parts list consists of: a 64 precision bit set that includes flathead, screwdriver, hex, torx, and star bits as well as plenty of other bits you've probably never seen or heard of, the screwdriver handle, flex extension, tweezers, opening tools like pry bars, picks, and spudgers, and more, all packed in a hard shell magnetic case. iFixit also includes a generous lifetime warranty: they'll replace any of the pieces that break, even if you caused it.
I've owned this toolkit for several years and it has served me very well. I've changed the shells on my Joy-Con controllers, swapped the SSD in my ASUS ROG Ally, rebuilt my gaming PC quite a number of times, replaced the heatsink on my GPU, modified my keyboard, opened up my fishing reels for maintenance, and more with the help of this toolkit. Aside from some of the more disposable plastic spudger and picks (they supply quite a few), everything still looks and works as new. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Should I Wait Until Cyber Monday to Buy?
Many of the best Black Friday deals should last until Cyber Monday on December 2nd, but there isn’t any reason to wait to make a purchase, as you can expect the savings to be similar during the entire deal period. If you wait too long, the Amazon Fire HD 8 could sell out.

Xbox Expansion Card SSD Deals
Is Call of Duty eating up your internal SSD space? Black Friday has you covered with excellent deals on storage solutions. Our top pick is the Xbox 1TB Expansion Card, now at its lowest price ever – just $99.99 at Amazon. Typically, these expansion cards hover around $125 during sales, with occasional steep discounts at Woot that sell out quickly.
This Black Friday, the WD Black C50 1TB Storage Expansion Card is $50 off its list price, making it the best Xbox storage deal you’ll likely find. Amazon hasn’t matched the price yet, but it’s worth keeping an eye on them in case Best Buy sells out before you grab one.
Separately, the items in the 4K Max bundle would set you back about $142, so you're saving $62. That’s a phenomenal deal to access Xbox’s Game Pass library without even needing a console.
If you don't need the controller or Game Pass, a Fire TV Stick 4K is also now at its lowest-ever price of $21.99. If you're eyeing an upgrade, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is also at a record-low $32.99. Both are stellar deals, but act quickly – these prices won’t last forever.
Xbox Series X|S Black Friday Deals
If you’ve been thinking about upgrading to an Xbox console, now might be the perfect time. The 1TB Xbox Series X is currently $50 off, bringing it down to $448 – a rare discount on Microsoft’s flagship console. This price is set to last until at least November 23, giving you a bit of time to decide, but don’t wait too long as stock might dwindle closer to Black Friday.
For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the Xbox Series S is also available for just $248 at Walmart. The Series S is a fantastic entry point to the Xbox ecosystem, offering next-gen performance in a compact and affordable package. With both consoles on sale, there’s never been a better opportunity to dive into Xbox gaming.
Should You Wait for Xbox Deals on Cyber Monday?
We hope you've prepared your wallets, because it's Black Friday season. Unlike back in the day, most retailers combine their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals into one, and that's most likely the case with Xbox.
During the biggest sales event of the year, keep an eye out for price drops on the games you've been waiting to add to your library. The same can be said for TVs, gaming PCs, Apple products, and more. Whatever you're in the market for, right now is probably one of the best times to make your biggest purchases.

Black Friday has arrived, and there is no better time of year to upgrade your home entertainment than during the Sonos Black Friday Sale. If you're looking for an easy solution to add great sound to your home, then you've probably already heard of Sonos. Sonos speakers are very easy to set up, don't take a large amount of space, and most importantly, offer distortion-free room-filling audio. They're not cheap, so it's a wise investment to jump on a deal when you see one.
Sonos' Black Friday sale is better than the few other sales sprinkled throughout the year for two main reasons: 1) the discounts are bigger, with some prices at historical lows, and 2) nearly its entire lineup of speakers, soundbars, and headphones are on sale instead of just a small selection.
Best Sonos Deals for Black Friday 2024
Sonos Arc
The Arc is Sonos' flagship product. We rated it the best soundbar of 2024. This is a premium soundbar and it shows. This 45" soundbar houses 11 precisely engineered internal speakers, including two dedicated height channels. It's Dolby Atmos ready, and there's enough power here that you can probably get away without a subwoofer. However, the Sonos Arc can be wirelessly paired up with other Sonos speakers and subs to add even more sound distribution. The Arc also has a built-in microphone for voice control so it is Alexa and Google Assistant compatible.
Sonos Beam Gen 2
If your TV is too small for the Arc's 45" footprint, the consider the Sonos Beam instead. The Beam is a smaller 26" soundbar that still boasts excellent audio quality thanks to four elliptical midwoofers, one central tweeter and three passive bass radiators. It's Dolby Atmos ready and has a mic for voice control.
Sonos Ray
Thanks to its diminutive 22" length, the Sonos Ray soundbar fits just about anywhere with just about any size TV. Despite its compact size, it still pumps out room-filling audio with its two tweeters and two woofers. The Sonos Ray has built-in Wi-Fi so it can double up as a home audio speaker through the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and more. Note that the Sonos Ray does not have built-in smart functionality.
Sonos Sub Mini & Sub 4
If you want to add ground-shaking bass to your Sonos setup, there's still nothing better than a separate standalone subwoofer. Despite its compact size, the Sonos Sub Mini boasts two 6" drivers that face inwards towards each other in a sealed enclosure to eliminate unwanted vibrations. Each driver is powered by its own Class D digital amplifier and delivers more than enough sound pressure for even a large room. The Sonos Sub Mini maintains a small footprint and it looks good.
The Sub 4 offers even more power in the form of two 5"x8" woofers housed in a larger enclosure. Unlike the Sonos Mini which uses a sealed design, the Sub 4 is ported for a louder, deeper low-end.
Sonos Roam 2
The Sonos Roam 2 is a compact, portable speaker that's designed for both indoor and outdoor use. To that effect, it has a rugged IP67 waterproof and dustproof housing and weighs in at under a pound. The internal battery supplies the Roam 2 with nearly 10 hours of playtime on a single charge. It supports both Bluetooth and wireless and the presence of an internal mic means it is Amazon Alexa compatible.
Sonos Era 100 and 300
The Sonos Era 100 is a direct successor to the Sonos One. Sound quality is equivalent to a Sonos Move, which isn't surprising considering they have similar internal components: two tweeters, a mid-woofer, and three class-D digital amps. The Era 100 also supports Dolby Atmos when it is paired with an Arc or Beam soundbar. It has a built-in microphone and can be voice controlled; it can also be used as a smart speaker for both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The Era 300 is a much larger and better sounding speaker. It has four tweeters and two woofers (double the Era 100), which makes it great for spatial audio. Unlike the Era 100, it supports Dolby Atmos content.
Sonos Move 2
The Move is Sonos' biggest and best portable speaker. Thinks of it as a portable Era 100. This is a standalone speaker with a self-contained battery and can be carried around from room to room. It's also made of more durable materials and is IP56 rated for weather resistance and a small dock is also included. The Move 2 pumps out great sound for its small footprint. Like the Era 100, the Move 2 has two tweeters, three class-D digital amplifiers, a mid-woofer. It also has a built-in microphone for voice control so it is Alexa and Google Assistant compatible.
Sonos Ace
The Sonos Ace is Sonos' first headphone and it delivers on all fronts. It offers superb sound quality and excellent noise cancellation, it's comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and it looks pretty stylish as far as headphones go. The only knock on it is the price, since it's more expensive than the popular Bose QuietComfort Ultra or Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones. But that's why you get it on Black Friday, when it's $100 off.
Are Sonos Amps on sale for Black Friday?
At this time, we're not seeing any live deals on Sonos Amps. They are already low in stock at Amazon and Best Buy. Check back throughout the weekend and come Cyber Monday here for an update. You can get the full-priced Sonos Amp on Best Buy at $699 or on Amazon for the same price.
Why is Sonos so popular?
Sound quality vs. size
Despite the fact that Sonos products are compact and don't take up much space in your house, they offer surprisingly loud and distortion-free audio. They're definitely pricier than budget options, but the sound quality is more akin to audio products that cost hundreds more or take up much more space.
Easy setup
Sonos devices are usually simple plug and play. All you have to do is plug in a power cable (if even that's necessary) and one connection to your TV (if even that's necessary), download the Sonos app, and you're done. Generally a receiver isn't required; the soundbars are designed to plug right into your TV and the speakers are designed to work wirelessly. For something like a 5.1ch home theater setup, you don't have to deal with a mess of cables. Individual Sonos speakers can pair with your soundbar and be used as rear satellites, and the subwoofer is also wireless so it can be positioned virtually anywhere in your room.
Communication between devices
Practically all Sonos speakers can communicate with each other. That means you can pair different Sonos speakers in different rooms for multi-room capability. Or you can pair two speakers for stereo output. Or you can pair speakers to your soundbar to be used as a 5.1ch setup. It's all seamlessly done through the app.

In our 9/10 review, we said, "The Corsair HS65 Surround may be a little slim on the extras, and if you want the frills, this might be too minimalist for your taste. However, where it counts most – comfort, sound quality, even versatility – it serves up plenty. This gaming headset is not just comfortable, but also one of the best-sounding gaming headsets I’ve tested, especially for that sub-$100 price."

The Best Deals on Speakers, Soundbars, and Headphones from Sonos

For Black Friday, Walmart is offering a phenomenal deal on a pair of wireless noise-cancelling headphones, and best of all, it won't cost you hundreds of dollars. Right now, you can get the JLab JBuds Lux for just $29 after a huge $50 price drop.
These headphones are an incredible value. First of all, they feature both wireless connectivity and noise cancellation for under $30. Better yet, unlike virtually all other headphones at this price point, they're actually very good!
JLab JBuds Lux Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones for $29
SoundGuys recently reviewed the JLabs JBuds Lux and gave these headphones an absolutely glowing review, mentioning that they were one of the best headphones under $100. SoundGuys considered them an extremely good value at their retail price of $79. Imagine their opinion at the current $29 price point.
The JLabs JBuds Lux boasts a lot of features you'd find in far more expensive headphones, like big 40mm drivers, Spatial Audio that's compatible with Dolby Atmos, Tempest 3D AudioTech and Windows Sonic, hybrid active noise cancellation with a "Be Aware" mode that lets you listen in on your environment, and a built-in microphone for hands-free calling. JBLabs also touts up to a 70-hour battery life, or 40 hours with ANC enabled. It also supports Bluetooth Multipoint for simultaneous pairing with up to two devices. Those are impressive specs.
These headphones even look the part. The JLabs JBuds Lux are thoughtfully designed for both comfort and performance, with cushy earcups that conform to your ear while also providing an effective seal for passive isolation, a padded headband for prolonged comfort, and a foldable design that makes them easy to tote around. Honestly, the only thing JLabs seems to have omitted was the egregious price tag.
Of course, there are plenty of other good wireless noise cancelling headphones on sale for Black Friday, but I guarantee you that you won't find a better pair of headphones at such an incredibly low price.

Tablets are a great way to play games, watch movies, read articles or books... really, anything. These devices are often expensive, with many starting well above $500 for both Apple and Samsung. For Black Friday, however, Amazon has discounted the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus to $199, which saves you 26% off this device. The 11" screen is great for all ages, and it's an excellent choice for a gift this holiday season. For under $200, there's likely no better tablet deal out there for Black Friday this year.
Save $70 Off Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is perfect for adults and children alike. The 11" screen has a refresh rate of 90Hz for smooth and vivid content. If you plan to play games on this tablet, this will allow you to see smoother visuals. Additionally, the battery life is exceptional, with a battery capacity of 7,040mAh. This is more than enough to last throughout the day, so you won't need to worry about having a charger on hand.
Additionally, this model has 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, you can expect solid performance overall. While you shouldn't expect performance on the level of the S9 Plus, this is still one of the best Android tablets you can buy. You likely won't find anything better at this price, especially with this discount.
Should You Buy Now or Wait for Cyber Monday?
With Black Friday officially here, you might be wondering if this deal may get better on Cyber Monday. The post-Black Friday shopping day focuses on online deals, with many revolving around technology – including tablets! This deal for Black Friday is the lowest we've ever seen the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus at, so it's unlikely we will see a better deal on Monday. Still, since most Black Friday deals carry over to Monday, it won't hurt waiting just in case, especially since there's no indication that this is running low on stock.
Noah Hunter is a freelance writer and reviewer with a passion for games and technology. He co-founded Final Weapon, an outlet focused on nonsense-free Japanese gaming (in 2019) and has contributed to various publishers writing about the medium.
Amazon has been stealthily rolling out Black Friday deals all week, but it's pretty hard to top its 43% off discount on the Bose QuietComfort Bluetooth Headphones. This pair of noise-cancelling wireless headphones typically sells for $349, but today you can grab a pair for just $199. Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Headphones for $199 ($349)
Earlier this year, we ranked the best Bose headphones in 2024, and the QuietComfort headphones ranked second on the list for their competitive battery life in comparison to previous models, elite noise cancellation capability and prolific sound quality. Snagging first place on our list of contenders were the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, which offer similar features in a more compact package — though, if you're in the market for new earbuds, these are also on sale at Amazon for $70 off their standard retail price.
Noise Cancellation
Tune out the world with Bose QuietComfort headphones, which combine active and passive noise reduction technologies so users can manipulate exactly how much external sound sneaks through. You can toggle between Quiet mode, which eliminates distractions like strong winds or large crowds with the highest level of noise cancellation, or Aware mode, which lets you hear your surroundings while listening to audio. Or, customize your own noise control settings based on whatever environment you find yourself in — the perfect way to drown out outside distractions on a work call while still being able to hear your own voice.
Battery Life
In our previous ranking list, the Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones stood out for their 24-hour battery life, which is a major step up from past iterations of Bose headphones. Using active noise cancellation might make the battery bleed a little bit faster, but these headphones will still last you all day before needing a charge. Plus, just 15 minutes of charging will give you another 2.5 hours of play time. Once the headphones are dead, users can plug in to their computer or phone with a provided audio cable to continue listening even when the battery is depleted.
Sound Quality
High-fidelity audio and adjustable EQ cements these headphones as the superior choice for users looking to get the most out of their listening settings by manipulating the bass, mid-range and treble. Transport yourself to a club in Ibiza with bass-boosted EDM music or let the lyrics shine through on your favorite tracks with increased treble. All of these controls are adjustable on the headset itself or through the Bose app.
Connectivity
Convenience is at an all-time high with the Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones, which allow users to switch between a Bluetooth connection across all of their devices within 10 meters without having to disconnect and reconnect each time. You can jam to some tunes on your laptop and then keep the party going on your phone with the touch of a single button.
Comfortability
It's literally in the name. These over-the-ear headphones offer a cushy listening experience with memory foam earcups that prioritize comfort as much as they do audio quality, making them the optimal pick for all-day use. A secure steel band keeps the headphones in place while running on the treadmill or running errands.
Deep into Black Friday, Amazon has finally offered a pretty sweet deal on a Meta Quest 3 512GB VR headset. You can get it for the current retail price of $499.99, however Amazon is throwing in a bonus $75 in Amazon digital credit. This is very similar to the super popular Meta Quest 3S VR headset deal that has been floating around since the beginning of the week. I am not complaining, because it was less than two months go that Meta dropped the official retail price from $649.99 to $499.99. The bonus $75 credit is just icing on the cake.
Meta Quest 3 VR Headset with Batman: Arkham Shadow
Bonus $75 Amazon Digital Credit
The Meta Quest 3 is the best standalone consumer-oriented VR headset you can get right now. It continues Meta’s legacy of offering a cost-effective headset that doesn’t require an expensive gaming PC, but can still benefit from one if you have it. That’s a unique feature that sets it apart from almost every other VR headset out there, other than its own predecessors. It's not the best value for a VR headset. That title goes to the Meta Quest 3S. However, the Quest 3 has enough features under its belt to make it the better purchase for experienced VR enthusiasts who want a better visual experience.
What really sets this deal above all other VR deals (like the PlayStation VR2) is that the Meta Quest 3 can be played completely untethered. That means you can play games like Beat Saber or Pistol Whip without having to own a powerful gaming PC or a PlayStation 5 console. Try to find another standalone VR headset at this price and you'll come up empty.
To sweeten the pot even more, every Quest 3 purchased this month comes bundled with the Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game and a three-month trial of Meta Quest+. In IGN's 8/10 review, Dan Stapleton wrote that "Batman: Arkham Shadow makes most of the Arkham series' defining gameplay work respectably well in VR, and its mystery story pays off."
Cheaper Alternative: Meta Quest 3S VR Headset
Bonus $75 Amazon Digital Credit
The Quest 3S is an improvement over the original Quest 2 in every way and, amazingly, without a price increase. It adopts many of the same features of the Quest 3, like the new Touch controllers, the upgraded SnapDragon APU, and full color AR passthrough. In IGN's 9/10 Quest 3S review, Gabriel Moss wrote that "raw processing power, full-color passthrough, and snappy Touch Plus controllers make the Quest 3S a fantastic standalone VR headset that also brings entry-level mixed-reality gaming to the masses for – arguably – the very first time.
How Is the Quest 3S Different from the Quest 3?
The Quest 3 costs $200 more than the Quest 3S. That's not a small amount, considering that price difference is 40% of the cost of the Quest 3S, but in my opinion it's worth it. The spec comparisons are listed below:
Quest 3S vs. Quest 3 Similarities
Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor
Touch Plus controllers
120Hz refresh rate
Mixed reality passthrough (same cameras, different layout)
Quest 3S vs. Quest 3 Differences
Lower per-eye resolution (1832x1920 vs 2064×2208)
Fresnel lens vs. pancake lens
Lower FOV (96°/90° vs 104°/96°)
Smaller storage capacity (128GB vs 512GB)
Longer battery life (2.5hrs vs 2.2hrs)
In essence, the Quest 3S has very similar internals, and the same Touch controllers, but with downgraded optics. That's more significant than it reads on paper. How much enjoyment you get from VR headset is largely determined by the visual quality of the display. If the image that you see is blurry, or distorted, it takes you out of the immersion.
In his Quest 3 review, Eric Song (yes that's me!) wrote that "The Quest 3 continues Meta’s legacy of offering a cost-effective headset that doesn’t require an expensive gaming PC, but can still benefit from one if you have it. That’s a unique feature that sets it apart from almost every other VR headset out there, other than its own predecessors. The sheer amount of upgrades are well worth the $200 generational price increase. For everyone else is willing to make the splurge, the Quest 3 sets the new standard for VR and mixed reality gaming."

The Acer Nitro 5 is the perfect pick for thrifty gamers looking for the performance of a higher-priced gaming laptop without breaking the bank. Its retail price is already fairly competitive, with models in the Nitro 5 series ranging from anywhere between $580 to $1,200.
Right now, Amazon is offering one of the best prices of the year for the $779.99 version at just $599.99, saving buyers a total of $180. It's a low price to pay for a laptop powered by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, which makes playing a game like Cyberpunk 2077 on the highest settings possible (which, let's be honest, is a pretty lofty feat on a laptop).
Acer Nitro 5 - Performance
Combined with its high-powered GPU, this specific model comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H processor that offers eight cores and 12 processing threads. The CPU defaults to a frequency of 2.1 GHz but can amp up to a Max Turbo Frequency of 4.6 GHz. While its competitor, the Ryzen 5 Processor, is typically better for handling multi-threaded workloads, the i5 features much faster speeds overall when it comes to single-core performance.
In terms of storage space, the laptop comes installed with 8GB of RAM but can reach a capacity of 32GB. It's equipped with a 512GB Gen 4 SSD that may not be big enough for gamers with profoundly large gaming archives, but certainly does the trick if you're downloading a few games at a time from your Steam library. The computer's battery also has the advantage on its competitors with a lifespan of 57 Watt Hours, which lasted around 9 hours and 40 minutes in practice based on PCMark's battery test.
Acer Nitro 5 - Design and Notable Features
When it comes to visuals, the Acer Nitro 5 certainly does not feel budget, despite its low price. This version offers a 15.6" screen with a quick 144Hz refresh rate and a display resolution of 1920x1080 that makes gameplay effective and incredibly immersive. The backlit keyboard takes this laptop to the next level and heavily caters to gamers by using a brighter outline that's used to illuminate the WASD and arrow keys.
Beyond how it looks, feels, and plays, one of the most notable features of this gaming laptop is the Nitro V 15 dual fans and exhaust system that keep the computer chilled during use. Say goodbye to crashing mid-game due to overheating. Fan speeds can be adjusted for the games you play using the NitroSense utility app, which allows users to customize their gaming setup to their needs.
Plus, this laptop comes fitted with Wi-Fi 6, which uses Gigabit Ethernet to provide gamers with substantial upgrades to connection speeds and improvements in computer security.
If you're in the market for a gaming laptop that feels elegant without costing an arm and a leg, look no further. Amazon's deal on the Acer Nitro 5 is pretty unbeatable, providing gamers with comparable features to high-end competitors at a far lower cost that just got even lower.
This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC features an Intel Core i7-14700F CPU, RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU, 16GB of DDR5-1600MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core i7-14700F Raptor Lake Refresh CPU boasts a max clock of 5.4GHz with 20 cores, 28 threads, and a 33MB cache. If you plan to use this PC as a gaming rig, then an i7 is a better choice in terms of value than an i9. Performance is nearly identical because games cannot utilize the extra cores that the i9 has and at higher resolutions, games are almost always GPU-bound.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is about 10% more powerful than the RTX 4070 Ti. This is a great card for gaming at any resolution, from 1080p all the way to 4K. At 1080p and 1440p you'll be able to achieve 144fps or beyond in most games, so it's a great complement to FHD or QHD monitors capable of achieving high refresh rates. 4K is a much more demanding resolution, but you should still be able to run most games at a consistent 60fps. The RTX 4070 Ti Super also has more VRAM than the RTX 4070 Ti (16GB vs 12GB), which means it's a great economical option for AI work.
A note on Alienware's newest "R16" desktop chassis
The R16 is Alienware's current 2024 desktop PC design. It's 40% smaller in volume compared to previous iterations. It features a simple yet proven airflow pattern; air is drawn in through the side intake vents over the GPU area and a 120mm fan at the front of the case, and exhausts by way of a 120mm rear fan and two 120mm top fans. A 240mm radiator for the all-in-one liquid cooling system is mounted to these top fans. Some configurations don't actually include the liquid cooling system, but we rarely include them in this roundup. That's because Alienware's liquid cooling solution is far superior to their stock air cooling and is easily worth the price premium.

The best high-end prebuilt PCs command premium prices, but that doesn't mean you can't find great deals that will still save you a lot of money. The Alienware Black Friday Sale is well underway, and one of the best deals we've seen is this Alienware Aurora R16 GeForce RTX 4090 gaming PC for $1,999.99 after a $1,000 off instant discount. I rarely see an Alienware RTX 4080 Super config drop to under $2000, so this is a good deal to get if you decide not to wait around for Black Friday. The RTX 4080 Super is Nvidia's second most powerful GPU on the market and can pretty much handle any game at any resolution and at any graphic setting.
Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 4080 Super Gaming PC
The Alienware Aurora R16 is equipped with a 13th-gen Intel Core i9-13900F CPU, GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16GB GPU, 32GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The 14th-gen Intel Core i9-14900F Raptor Lake Refresh CPU boasts a max clock of 5.8GHz with 24 cores, 32 threads, and a 36MB cache. This is still one of the most powerful CPUs out there, and gaming performance compared to the newer i9-14900 is negligilbe, especially at higher resolutions.
The 4080 Super is a second generation card. It's about 5%-10% faster in performance than its 4080 predecessor thanks to its higher base clock speed, higher CUDA core count, and higher memory bandwidth. It's a superior GPU to AMD's Radeon RX 7900 RTX if you factor in DLSS and ray tracing performance. In our RTX 4080 Super review, Jacqueline Thomas writes, "If you're in the market for a 4K graphics card around $1,000, it's hard to think of any GPU that's a better purchase right now. This is the RTX 4080 that should have launched in 2022."
The 2024 Alienware "R16" desktop chassis is a major improvement.
Some configurations don't actually include the liquid cooling system, but we rarely include them in any of our articles. That's because Alienware's liquid cooling solution is far superior to their stock air cooling and is easily worth the price premium.
Why Pick a Dell or Alienware Gaming PC?
The Alienware Aurora R16 is one of our picks for best prebuilt gaming PCs of 2024. Not everyone is the DIY type, and these days prebuilt gaming PC aren't that much more expensive than building your own computer. In fact, depending on the demand of certain components like the GPU, it might even be cheaper. Alienware desktops offer a staggering array of options, all built into a custom chassis that's both easy on the eyes and easy on the wallet. Consistent build quality, frequent sales, and solid customer service are the main reasons why Dell is at the top of our buying list.

AMD has some of the best graphics cards out there, offering a solid alternative to Nvidia's RTX lineup that even surpasses it with certain models. One of our favorite graphics cards last year was the AMD Radeon 7800 XT, which provided excellent performance across both 1080p and 1440p. For Black Friday, you can save $60 off the XFX Qicksilver AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT at Best Buy. This is one of the lowest prices we've seen this model at, so don't miss out on this limited time deal.
XFX Qicksilver AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT for $469.99
One of the major features of this XFX Qicksilver model is the Magnetic Air technology. With this, you can remove and replace the three fans instantly – no tools or removal of your GPU required. This can be a godsend if you run into issues with a fan, which usually means you have to take apart your graphics card by yourself, often voiding a warranty in doing so.
You also have access to three display port outputs on the back, which is perfect for using up to three monitors. You can even use one port for a PC VR headset – which is also on sale for Black Friday. The included 16GB of GDDR6 memory is essential for high-performance 1440p gameplay, with some 4K support even possible. This RX 7800 XT is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p.
Should You Buy Now or Wait for Cyber Monday?
With Black Friday officially here, you might be wondering if this deal may get better on Cyber Monday. The online holiday sees major discounts online across retailers each year, but as of late, these deals mostly carry over from the week of Black Friday deals. While you can't go wrong with today's price, there is always a chance this graphics card could be further discounted come Monday.

Black Friday is here, and Amazon and Best Buy are offering a four-pack of Apple AirTags keyfinders for only $72.99. That's 26% off the retail price and only $18.25 for each AirTag. This Apple Black Friday deal would make an excellent stocking stuffer gift idea for anyone who owns an iPhone and tends to lose small wearables like wallets, keys, or remotes. Although we saw these at a slightly lower price before Black Friday for an early deal special at $69.99, I wouldn’t expect them to drop lower since Black Friday is here and the price still remains at $72.99.
4-Pack Apple AirTags for $72.99
The Apple Airtag is a small coin-shaped device that you can put in your wallet or attach to your phones, keys, remote, or anything small enough to be easily misplaced. It works as a little Wi-Fi keyfinder that helps locate your lost objects by pinging its general location to your iPhone using Bluetooth 5.0. However, if your iPhone model has a U1 chip with Ultra Wideband, then you can take advantage of the "Precision Finding" mode. This gives you numerical distance and direction guidance when your lost item is close by. It points you right to it. The CR2032 lithium 3V coin battery is also easily user-replaceable.
