How to Redeem Anime Shadow 2 Codes (August 2025)

Knowing how to redeem codes in Anime Shadow 2 isn't too hard but just in case you're not sure where to look, we've put together this section. Follow these simple steps to start getting those rewards:

  1. Launch Anime Shadow 2 on Roblox
  2. Press the red Shop button on the left side of your screen.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the shop.
  4. Then, enter your code into the "Enter Code" box and click Redeem when you're ready.

Why Isn't My Anime Shadow 2 Code Working?

If you're having trouble redeeming a code, there are two common reasons why it may not be working:

  • The code is expired
  • The code has been entered incorrectly

If a code has been entered incorrectly or has expired, you'll see a message that says, "[CODES] Invalid/Expired Code". In order to avoid this, we recommend copying and pasting the code directly from this article. As long as you don't accidentally get an extra space in there when copying it, it should work if it's active. We make sure to check and test every Anime Shadow 2 code before we add them to this article.

Where to Find More Anime Shadow 2 Codes

One of the best ways to get new codes is coming back to this page as we frequently update it with new and active codes. Otherwise, you can search for codes on your own by checking out the dedicated Discord server for Anime Shadow 2.

How to Redeem Codes in Anime Boss Raid

Before you can redeem codes in Anime Boss Raid, you'll need to do two things:

When both steps are complete, you'll be able to redeem codes in-game, which you can do by following the steps below:

  • After booting the game up, look on the left-hand side of the screen. You'll see a "shop" icon, which is represented by a shopping basket.
  • Click this icon and you'll pull up the shop tab. Scroll to the very bottom of this shop tab, and you'll find a codes bar.
  • Type your code into the codes bar and then click the claim button to redeem the code.

Why Isn't My Anime Boss Raid Code Working?

If your Anime Boss Raid code isn’t working, it’s likely due to one of two scenarios. The first is that the code was input incorrectly. Check the spelling and that the case is correct, then redeem again. You can even copy and paste the codes directly from this article over to Roblox if you want to make sure you’re inputting them correctly.

The other possibility is that the code has expired or you’ve already used it. In this scenario, you should see an error message pop up within the bar informing you that the code has already been redeemed or is invalid.

How to Get More Anime Boss Raid Codes

If you're on the hunt for extra Anime Boss Raid codes, you'll want to become a member of the game's official Discord server. If you keep an eye on the server's announcements channel, you'll see all the latest codes as they drop.

What is Anime Boss Raid in Roblox?

Anime Boss Raid is similar to the array of popular anime-focused tower defense games currently on Roblox, but with one major twist. Instead of summoning units and then positioning them around a battlefield, you'll take your summoned units and pit them in a duel against a single powerful opponent. To defeat them, you'll need to assemble a squad of iconic warriors, with units hailing from Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball Z, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece and Solo Levelling.

As you begin to take down increasingly powerful foes, you'll sell loot from fallen enemies to purchase new heroes, reroll your units' stats to finesse their build, and assign buffs to ensure they're dealing optimal damage.

Corsair Scimitar Elite SE Gaming Mouse Review – A Simple Revision, But Still Great

A gaming mouse is an important tool, and it’s also perhaps one of the most personal ones. The shape of a mouse is a huge factor in how easy it is to use, and the many buttons and their placement can impact how well a mouse works in different types of games. The Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE is a rather specific sort of mouse, intentionally designed for MMORPGs and MOBAs, whose deep well of spells and abilities calls for a ton of easily accessible buttons. This newer model follows up several generations of Scimitar mice, changing little but bringing some technological advancements. It’s a somewhat pricey mouse and isn’t the best fit for all genres, but if you’re trying to step up your game in specific games (or even everyday productivity), it has plenty to offer.

Corsair Scimitar Elite SE – Design and Features

We’ve seen this before, almost exactly – the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE is just about a clone of the Scimitar Elite Wireless that ranks as our favorite gaming mouse for MMOs and MOBAs. Aside from some recoloring and a new 33K DPI sensor, almost nothing has changed.

What you’ll get is a decently ergonomic mouse with good finger perches and grip on the right side and a grid of 12 buttons on the left side in the style of a number pad. This gives you access to a ton of control with just your thumb, and it makes finger placement all the more crucial. To that end, the mouse’s number pad sits on a rail, letting you slide it to your preferred position and then lock it in place with a little bolt on the bottom of the mouse (all of which is the same as its predecessor).

Along with the side buttons, you still get your typical mouse controls on top, including a DPI switch. These are quality buttons, too, with snappy switches for the primary mouse buttons and a gently notched scroll wheel with a grippy rubber finish. The side buttons are a bit mushier when pressed hard, but have a clear, pronounced actuation.

There’s some RGB lighting with each number on the side buttons and Corsair’s logo on the palm both illuminated. Above the DPI switch, there’s also colored light but this only briefly shines as an indicator of which DPI level has been selected.

Underneath, the mouse rides on four small PTFE feet. There, you’ll also find a profile switch, helping avoid accidental presses along with a toggle to turn the mouse off, set it to Bluetooth mode (which comes with a 500-hour battery life) or set it to 2.4GHz wireless mode (which has a 150-hour battery life). The primary wireless connection is handled by a small USB-A dongle that can slip into a little compartment on the bottom of the mouse for safe keeping when not in use.

The Corsair Scimitar Elite SE is a mouse designed for a very specific task, and it performs wonderfully.

With such long battery life, you won’t have to charge it often, but there’s a USB-C port at the front of the mouse for when you do. The port is slightly recessed, so you might not be able to plug in with USB-C cables that have chunky ends, but most USB-C cables should fit, and Corsair supplies a nice, lightweight one.

Corsair Scimitar Elite SE – Software

As with any of the company’s products, the Scimitar Elite Wireless SE uses Corsair’s iCue software for customization. This provides control over lighting effects, key assignments, DPI, and sensor calibration – the lighting is customizable in two zones with the logo and the full number pad on the side representing each zone.

The side buttons, right click, middle click, and DPI toggle buttons can all be reassigned to various functions. You also have the option to assign keyboard shortcuts, keystrokes, open apps, control media, create macros, and plenty more. The mouse will let you set five different DPI stages ranging from 100 DPI all the way up to 33,000 DPI in one-DPI increments. It also supports a sniper mode with its own assigned DPI value. In addition to the settings created in IQ, the software will let you save certain profiles directly onto the mouse's internal memory. This does have some minor limitations, such as fewer light effects and shorter macro strings, but it is otherwise quite comprehensive. And you can save up to five different profiles on the device.

Corsair's software doesn't necessarily present everything in a clear fashion, however, as some settings are haphazardly placed in the UI. For instance, the DPI settings are in one area, but the liftoff distance and polling rate information has to be found in another section, even though all of them relate to performance. The lighting effects and lighting brightness are also in two separate areas, and not every setting gets an actual description in the software. “Motion sense power saving” sounds like a good thing, but the software doesn't explain it at all (it disables lighting while the mouse is in motion, since you can't see much when your hand is covering the lights).

Corsair Scimitar Elite SE – Gaming and Performance

You won’t find the Corsair Scimitar Elite SE lacking in performance – the sensor is indeed precise and tracks extremely well, holding up with the demands of twitchy and accurate aim from my experience playing Delta Force and Insurgency: Sandstorm.

The number pad on the left side of the mouse has a little curve to it, which helps me maintain my grip on the mouse even while lifting it up to swipe. The grips on the right side of the mouse help as well, but the thumb buttons are a bit too easy to press in cases like that, which can lead to errant inputs if you’re not careful. Because of this, the mouse really isn’t ideal for other fast-paced genres like first-person shooters; this is definitely better suited to the MMO and MOBA games that it’s made for.

As nice as it is to have 12 different assignable buttons all within reach of your thumb, I struggle to feel out individual buttons quickly and can’t readily tell whether I’ve centered my thumb on the “5” or “8” button even though they’re textured differently. I think one could reasonably expect to get familiar with distinguishing the positions of six or maybe nine of the buttons even, but sliding around on all twelve is a steeper learning curve. To Corsair’s credit, making the number pad unit itself adjustable ensures you can find a position that’s ideal for your grip and eventually build up the muscle memory to leverage all the buttons. Corsair also made a clear effort to help you feel your way around them with its texturing. But as it stands, my thumb just isn’t sensitive enough – maybe yours will be.

Need to upgrade your keyboard?

Check out our roundup of the best gaming keyboards!

I do question whether cramming all 12 buttons into one spot is the best move. Opting for nine thumb buttons may have made just as much sense if Corsair incorporated something like side-ways scrollwheel clicks or some extra index finger buttons like those on the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed. These are also two features Razer’s cheaper Naga V2 HyperSpeed did in addition to a 12-button number pad.

The DPI switch at the center of the mouse is janky. When I click near its front edge, it has a tendency to get slightly stuck against its housing, making it hard to press. In one way, that can actually be a plus. It makes it something you need to use with intention, so accidentally switching DPI in the heat of battle should be easy to avoid. On the other hand, sticky keys are unreliable, and if you need to frequently use this button, it won’t have your back.

The battery lives up to Corsair’s claims. Even with lighting active, the mouse just runs on and on. I’ve used the mouse extensively for work and play, and maybe charged it twice. If you can remember to just plug it in at the end of every week, you’ll likely never wind up with a dead mouse. And unlike some wireless devices, the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE works almost as soon as it’s turned on, not requiring time to slowly establish a connection.

Mark Ruffalo's Hulk Set to Return to the MCU for Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Big news in the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Mark Ruffalo’s The Hulk is reportedly set to return for next year’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

According to a The Hollywood Reporter story both Sony and Marvel declined to comment on, Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner for the hotly anticipated 2026 superhero sequel.

Meanwhile, Michael Mando will reportedly reprise his role as supervillain Mac Gargan, aka, the Scorpion, in Brand New Day. The Scorpion was last seen in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland in the title role.

Ruffalo last played The Hulk in 2022 Disney+ show She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, a follow-up to which seems unlikely at this point. Ruffalo was not among the many names confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, although Marvel has indicated more announcements on that front are to come, so perhaps The Hulk will appear in the film in some form.

With production about to kick off, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is starting to take shape. Today, August 1, Sony released the debut teaser for the film, but all it did was show Spider-Man's new suit up close — and only for eight seconds.

Something brand new is coming… #SpiderManDay pic.twitter.com/hfOxYiYszw

— Sony Pictures (@SonyPictures) August 1, 2025

The release of the teaser and the Hulk news come amid set leaks that show an armored truck that appears to confirm an established Spider-Man villain will appear in Brand New Day.

Warning! Potential spoilers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day follow:

The truck in question displays a red demon mark, which may relate to Mister Negative's Inner Demons group. Mister Negative, who players of Insomniac's Spider-Man games will be familiar with, debuted in 2008’s Amazing Spider-Man #546 as the literal dark side of philanthropist Martin Li. While the benevolent Li runs a homeless shelter, his alter ego is a crime lord who controls the Inner Demons, one of the most powerful gangs in New York City. Check out IGN's Mister Negative explainer for more.

Here's what we know for sure: Tom Holland will reprise his role as Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also in the movie. Newcomers include Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal, who will reprise his role as The Punisher. Marvel itself hasn't revealed plot details, but it seems likely Brand New Day will be set before Avengers: Doomsday, which comes out late 2026. Perhaps Spider-Man, The Hulk, and The Punisher will eventually team up to take down some world-ending threat. But who else might join the team?

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is due out July 31, 2026.

Turtle Beach Has a New Victrix Pro Controller for PS5 and Xbox

Turtle Beach has announced the Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded, an updated – and slightly pricier – version of the Victrix Pro BFG modular pro-style controller. This new version features a redesigned fighting game module that the company says has been “ergonomically optimized” for resting your wrist on the grip if you prefer to play with your fingers, arcade-style.

You’re probably still better off with one of IGN’s best fight stick picks, but it’s nice to have options and this isn’t a bad one. The original Pro BFG is already one of the best PS5 controllers around thanks to its heavy customization options, and it sounds like that’s continuing here. Like that controller, the BFG Reloaded’s swappable components include a reversible thumbstick and d-pad and custom options for both thumbsticks and thumb caps. It’s got drift-resistant Hall effect analog sticks, too. The rear triggers, also Hall effect sensor-equipped, feature customizable sensitivity, and there are four mappable back buttons.

The BFG Reloaded is available in two colors – black and white – as well as versions specific to either the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One or PS5 and PS4. Both models are Windows-compatible. The company says they’ll get up to 20 hours on a full charge, and have a 30ft wireless range. They also come with a 3-meter braided USB-C cable if you’d rather wire it up. Each has a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well.

The Pro BFG was missing a couple of things – haptics and adaptive triggers. Unfortunately, Turtle Beach doesn’t mention either in its press materials, so it sounds like both are still out this time around. That’s a shame, as the Pro BFG Reloaded is nearly as expensive as the haptic-equipped Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra, its cousin that made both our best Xbox controllers and best PC controllers lists.

The Pro BFG Reloaded is available to preorder at $209.99 – up from $199.99 for the standard Pro BFG – when it goes up for sale in North America starting on September 28th. Gamers in the UK (£179.99) and EU (€199.99) can buy it today.

The Amazing New Razer BlackShark V3 Pro Gaming Headset Is Now Available to Buy

The Razer BlackShark V3 Pro is now available for purchase, providing a worthwhile upgrade for fans looking to get the most out of their gaming audio. If you're interested in seeing what the company has cooked up with its newest headset, you can currently buy it directly from Razer or through major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy. If you opt to pick it up from Best Buy, you can currently get a free month of Discord Nitro (for new and returning customers only).

Where to Buy the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro Headset

With its price point of $249, the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro is a pricey model in Razer's headset lineup, coming in $50 higher than the BlackShark V2 Pro. Whether this new entry is worth the upcharge comes down to personal needs, but the refined design, improvements to audio quality, and addition of ANC (active noise cancellation) make it a particularly attractive pickup for enthusiasts.

The Razer BlackShark V3 Pro comes in either black or white. The PC variant of the headset sports solid colors all the way around, while PlayStation and Xbox-specific models add some extra flair with blue or green stitching around the headband based on the color scheme of their respective platforms.

It's worth noting, however, that the PC and PlayStation variants do not work on Xbox due to Microsoft's proprietary connection protocol. So, if you're looking for a version that will work across every platform in your setup, your best bet may be to grab the Xbox-specific model.

Of course, it's up to you to decide if you're willing to splurge on a premium headset like the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro. You can always check out our guide to the best gaming headsets to see what we recommend across multiple price points.

Darksiders 4 Announced With Teaser Trailer, Continues Where the Original Darksiders Game Left Off

Darksiders 4 is coming from developer Gunfire Games. We have a teaser trailer, below, revealed as part of publisher THQ Nordic's 2025 showcase event, as well as some high level gameplay details.

Darksiders 4, like the previous entries in the series, is a third-person action adventure game featuring combat, traversal, and puzzle solving in a “lore rich” post-apocalyptic world.

You play as one of the legendary Horsemen, each with their own unique weapons and combat styles. The “cinematic” combat is described as “fast-paced, visceral action blending melee, fluid traversal, and supernatural abilities.”

The only story detail we have is that Darksiders 4 continues the saga of the Four Horsemen and picks up where the original Darksiders game left off. According to store listings, there's online co-op for 2-4 players as well as single-player and split screen.

Darksiders began life in 2010 with the Vigil Games-developed original. It revolves around the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who attempt to bring balance to the universe while fighting on a post-apocalyptic Earth.

A sequel, Darksiders 2, followed in 2012, but it wasn’t until 2018 that Darksiders 3, from Gunfire Games, came out, with Airship Syndicate’s top-down action game Darksiders Genesis following in 2019. The series had remained dormant since then, with Gunfire releasing the successful Remnant: From the Ashes and Remnant 2 games either side of Chronos: Before the Ashes.

There’s no release window for Darksiders 4 yet, but THQ Nordic did open wishlists today.

We Build LEGO Star Wars: K-2SO, the Show-Stealing Droid From Rogue One and Andor

The new LEGO build of K-2SO, the deadpan security droid from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Andor, is a carefully rendered depiction of a beloved character. The LEGO Star Wars line is acclaimed for its fastidious attention to detail, and this set does nothing to upset that earned reputation. Standing over 16 inches tall, this model lovingly captures K-2SO at his most awkward and mechanical.

K-2SO comes in eight well-organized bags; no less than three years ago, LEGO was still inconsistent when it came to bagging its pieces. Bag #1 might come in a single bag labeled '1,' whereas Bag #2 might be spread out across two bags, both labeled '2.' But as LEGO has continued its mainstream ascent, the packaging and organization has followed. Now, it's always 'one bag, one number' for all of these newer sets, which is a lot less confusing.

You get a single sheet of stickers – mostly decals for the droid – rather than having the graphics printed onto the bricks themselves. You also get a display placard on a buildable stand, along with a minifigure depiction of K-2SO that's poseable alongside it.

K-2SO has a simple, monolithic design, and the set's build process follows that ethos. This is neither a difficult build nor a particularly innovative build , especially in comparison to, say, R2-D2. It's lots of black-on-black, and lots of LEGO Technic joints and hinged connection points. But LEGO Star Wars has always been more about the destination than the journey to get there, and there's no sense in complicating something that isn't complicated to begin with. You start with the small stand that K-2SO stands on. Then you build the legs. Then the torso. Then the arms. And finally, the head. Each element is built piecemeal, separate from the final build, before being attached via pins or ball joints.

LEGO K-2SO has a black exterior, but there are numerous colorful pieces – several of them pink – inside the droid. This is a fun LEGO tradition, in which the designers will incorporate bright bricks into otherwise monochromatic sets where they cannot be seen. But they also serve a practical purpose by breaking up the monotony of the build, orienting the model to denote which side is the front and which side is the back, and signposting where the respective overlaid elements will go.

This is a fun LEGO tradition, in which the designers will incorporate bright bricks into otherwise monochromatic sets, where they cannot be seen.

Despite its ungainly, spindly (movie-accurate) appearance, this K-2SO model is surprisingly sturdy, unlike many LEGO sets that, despite looking structurally sound, will fall apart if you so much as breathe on them. It's not fall-proof, but it can withstand an incidental amount of stress without coming undone.

My favorite part of the entire build is the head, which you build as an upper half and a lower half and then fasten together in the middle. At the midpoint where these two halves intersect, the designers used two LEGO Technic pins to create the impression of eyes. It is simple yet effective, and it underlines K-2SO's artificiality. It also begs for some additional customization; someone who's a bit handy could rig lights in the hollows of the eyes and really make an impression.

As a former Imperial security droid, K-2SO is a contradiction. His proportions are all wrong, like something that was fashioned to resemble a human, but instead falls into a creepy uncanny valley. His head looks like a skull. Generally speaking, Star Wars' aesthetics are thematically consistent with their messaging; it is the beeping, booping, conventionally cute droid that is Resistance-affiliated – not a droid like K-2SO.

We get a taste of K-2SO's former nature in Season 2 of Andor, when he nearly killed Cassian. At that time, it took a repulsorcraft ramming into him to stop his relentless pursuit. But despite his menacing appearance and violent past, anyone who's watched Rogue One can attest: post-reprogramming, K-2SO has more humanity in him than many of the actual humans he's serving.

And yet, his physicality carries the underlying implication that something could go horribly wrong. We're glad this droid is on our side, because we've seen what it's like when he's not. And when I look at this LEGO model, I have a bit of that emotional dissonance between loving this character and finding it unnerving. It's a unique mix, for sure.

LEGO Star Wars: K-2S0 Security Droid, Set #75434, retails for $89.99, and it is composed of 845 pieces. It is available now at Amazon and the LEGO Store.

These New Spider-Man Figures Will Launch With Magic: The Gathering Cards and I Can’t Work Out Which Is Coolest

Magic: The Gathering has only just kicked off its Edge of Eternities set today, but already, fans are itching for fresh information about the upcoming Spider-Man set, which marks the second Universes Beyond collaboration of 2025 after the record-breaking Final Fantasy set in June.

And, while we only have limited cards revealed so far, we’re getting something a little new as Hasbro works in some of that corporate synergy we all love so much.

These Magic: The Gathering cards will come with Spider-Man figures

A new set of Marvel’s Spider-Man Marvel Legends figures is available for pre-order at Amazon, but the kicker here is that each will come with its corresponding Magic: The Gathering card.

It’s a cool idea, but at $39.99 each, they’re hardly cheap. Still, given there are no Commander Decks for the Spidey set, maybe this will be a neat substitute to have on store shelves instead. All cards included are foils, which is nice.

As you’d expect, Spidey himself is included in the lineup, and this Spectacular variant is sporting some battle damage with a torn suit.

This two-cost card has Flash and can gain flying or make your other creatures hexproof and indestructible when sacrificed.

The other inclusions were a little out of left field, we must admit. Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade has Mary Jane donning the suit, and her card has Vigilance and taps to power up artifact creatures or vehicles, or turns that power to card draw.

Next up, Man-Wolf is a 4/4 Werewolf with Trample and a transformation mechanic. It’s a reprint of Ravager of the Fells, just with a Spidey twist.

Finally, and we’ve saved the best for last, Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer reanimates cards and turns damage into power. His figure looks awesome, too.

Lloyd Coombes is an experienced freelancer in tech, gaming and fitness seen at Polygon, Eurogamer, Macworld, TechRadar and many more. He's a big fan of Magic: The Gathering and other collectible card games, much to his wife's dismay.

Mastercard Denies It Pressured Steam, Itch.io to Delist Adult Games

Mastercard has issued a statement claiming is has "not required restrictions of any activity on game creator sites and platforms", despite allegations from both Steam and itch.io to the contrary.

https://t.co/ORNC1ZIyck pic.twitter.com/T4B9cVUuLY

— Mastercard News (@MastercardNews) August 1, 2025

In a post on Twitter/X today, Mastercard said the following:

Mastercard has not evaluated any game or required restrictions of any activity on game creator sites and platforms, contrary to media reports and allegations.
Our payment network follows standards based on the rule of law. Put simply, we allow all lawful purchases on our network. At the same time, we require merchants to have appropriate controls to ensure mastercard cards cannot be used for unlawful purchases, including illegal adult content.

Mastercard's statement comes in response to recent actions from both Steam and itch.io to remove or restrict adult content on the storefronts. Earlier in July, Steam removed numerous "adults only" games from its platform, largely ones that included sexually explicit content. It also added a new guideline to its policy, stating that "content that may violate the rules and standards set forth by Steam’s payment processors and related card networks and banks, or internet network providers" would not be permitted.

This was followed up with a similar move from itch.io just over a week ago, when it "deindexed" thousands of NSFW games from its browse and search pages. In a statement, itch.io said it had recently "came under scrutiny from our payment processors" following pressure from organization Collective Shout regarding certain adult games. In the days since, itch.io has said it is conducting a "comprehensive audit" of its content to ensure it can meet payment processor requirements. Just last night, the storefront re-indexed free adult NSFW content, stating it would be "re-introducing paid content slowly" and was in ongoing discussions with payment processors.

In the same post, itch.io shared a statement from payment processor Stripe, which passed the buck another step further to banking partners while confirming it would not be able to support adult content that is "designed for sexual gratification."

Stripe is currently unable to support sexually explicit content due to restrictions placed on them by their banking partners, despite card networks generally supporting adult content (with the appropriate registrations). Stripe has indicated that they hope to be able to support adult content in the future.

Collective Shout is a non-profit group that purports to fight against "the objectification of women and the sexualisation of girls in media, advertising, and pop culture." Its campaign against video game platforms is allegedly an effort to pressure processors to stop allowing payments for "rape and incest" games. However, game developers are claiming that the refusal of payment processors to allow people to purchase such content freely amounts to censorship - porn, after all, isn't illegal. What's more, it seems to be causing games that don't fit Collective Shout's objectives to be impacted as well, such as games that artfully explore trauma, assault, and other heavy topics or those that attempt to raise awareness of issues, such as sex trafficking. Others have expressed fears that this is a slippery slope that could lead to stricter and stricter definitions of forbidden "adult" content, potentially resulting in censorship of LGBTQ+ games.

In the wake of these decisions, many have joined a campaign to put pressure on payment processors such as Mastercard to reverse their decision. As Aftermath reports, grassroots groups are attempting to bombard customer support centers for Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, and PayPal with phone calls demanding the companies to back off. Thus far, the effect this effort has had has been largely anecdotal, with some reporting irritated call center workers stating they had already heard from many people on the subject. Mastercard's statement today is the first indication that the pressure might be having a real impact, and has emboldened the community to continue to protest in hopes of tipping the scales.

Meanwhile, itch.io has stated it's seeking out new payment processors who are more comfortable with adult material. Valve has yet to comment publicly on the situation on Steam.

BioShock 4 Reportedly Getting a Narrative Overhaul Amid Development Struggles

BioShock 4 is currently undergoing a bit of a development overhaul after it recently failed a review by 2K Games executives, according to a new report from Bloomberg.

Per the report, the new BioShock game, which has been in development for the last decade, was criticized by executives especially for issues with its narrative. The studio will allegedly work to overhaul the story in the coming months.

BioShock 4's struggles have also apparently resulted in the removal of Cloud Chamber Games studio head Kelley Gilmore, and the shifting of creative director Hogarth de la Plante into a publishing role. Employees were told in a recent all-hands that the company needs to become, per Bloomberg, "more agile and efficient," which has some workers afraid layoffs may be on the horizon.

2K Games confirmed Gilmore and de la Plante's role changes to Bloomberg, and shared the following statement:

We are working hard to set BioShock up for the best possible future. Right now, we have a good game, but we are committed to delivering a great one. We are working closely with leadership at the studio to define this path.

Bloomberg's report also revealed that a BioShock 1 remake was in development at 2K, but was canceled earlier this year.

We first heard reports that BioShock 4 was in development way back in 2018, when it was still apparently pretty early in the process. The following year it was officially confirmed to be in development at new studio Cloud Chamber, but IGN was told at the time that the team was at "the earlier end of our process." It was also confirmed that original BioShock creative director Ken Levine was not working on the game, but was instead focusing on his own project, Judas, at Ghost Story Games (it's due. However, a number of other BioShock veterans were said to be working on it, including de la Plante, art director Scott Sinclair, and design director Jonathan Pelling.

In the years since, we've gleaned very little in the way of details on BioShock 4. From job listings, we've put together that it won't take place in any of the settings from previous games, and that it may be open-world. In 2022, it picked up former Ghost of Tsushima writer Liz Albl as a narrative lead. And last year, an image that may have come from the in-progress new BioShock leaked online, though it was allegedly from an early 2021 demo of the game.

Given that we have yet to see gameplay or hear even a whisper of a release window, it may still be a while yet before BioShock 4 fully emerges. In the meantime, while Levine's Judas was at one point expected to be out by March 2025, that deadline has come and gone. But we got a preview of the game last March, so it may have to serve to tide over fans until BioShock 4 is ready to emerge once more.

Save an Extra 10% Off the Tomtoc Slim, Our Favorite Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case on Amazon

The Nintendo Switch 2 is an excellent gaming console, but the official Nintendo Switch 2 case you can get it for it is another story. For the $40 sticker price, it could be a lot better. Fortunately, If you want something that protects your Switch 2 while looking a lot nicer and still maintaining a slim profile, there's a better alternative: the Tomtoc Slim. For a limited time, you can get the black version for $33.29 after you clip the 10% off coupon on the product page. It's easily one of the best Switch 2 cases currently available and many of us use this case ourselves.

Tomtoc Slim Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case for $33.29

Tomtoc has a history of making great cases for mobile electronics, including most current gaming handhelds like the original Switch and Switch Lite, Steam Deck, and Asus ROG Ally. Its signature trademark is the raised indent patterning for each handheld's unique analog joystick and button layout. This is mostly an aesthetic touch, but it helps set Tomtoc cases apart from the clamshell design you'll see for nearly every other case out there.

Material-wise, the Tomtoc is a hardshell case with a felt inner lining. It has an interior flap that can fit up to 12 game cards. Other features include a buckle strap and durable YKK zipper. The Tomtoc Slim is available in black, white, and gray, although only the black color has the multi-colored logo. Since this is a slim case, there's no room to fit a charger.

Need something bigger?

If you're looking for something roomier, Tomtoc also has a sling-style case that's specifically made for portable gaming handhelds including the Switch 2. The padded compartment is shaped like a "W" to make room for a wide range of handhelds that have dual analog joysticks. It's not specifically designed for the Switch 2, so don't expect a molded fit, but there's plenty of room here to fit extra controllers, a charger or power bank, and more.

Stock up on more essential Switch 2 accessories

Nintendo Switch 2 orders have shipped and many lucky gamers are playing Mario Kart World as I write this. In addition to a new case, you might want to think about picking up some other Switch 2 accessories, like a MicroSD Express card for extra storage, a screen protector for extra protection, or a power bank for extra battery life. Check out the list of officially licensed Switch 2 accessories that are already up for preorder, including the all-new Switch 2 Pro controller.

A Quiet Place Part 3 Secures 2027 Release Date With John Krasinski Back as Director and Writer

A Quiet Place Part 3 is officially on the way with a July 9, 2027, release date and John Krasinski reportedly back to serve as its writer and director.

Paramount Pictures confirmed the release date news with a post on the official A Quiet Place X/Twitter account. It’s a post that comes with the new A Quiet Place Part 3 logo and little else, as the film sets a course to return to its silent, sci-fi horrors in a little less than two years.

— A Quiet Place (@AQuietPlace) August 1, 2025

Deadline reports that there are a few other details accompanying today’s announcement, though. This includes the news that original star and director, Krasinski, is attached to write and direct A Quiet Place Part 3. He’s also producing alongside Allyson Seeger’s Sunday Night Productions, with Platinum Dunes also on board. The former The Office star touched on his involvement with his own post on Instagram.

Story details for A Quiet Place Part 3 remain under wraps, but its name signals that viewers can expect a return to the storyline that began with the original movie. This mainline section of the A Quiet Place universe focuses on Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbott and her three children: Regan (Millicent Simmonds), Marcus (Noah Jupe), and an unnamed baby.

Their story began with the original, small-scale thriller, simply titled A Quiet Place, in 2018. A direct sequel, A Quiet Place Part 2, followed with a theatrical premiere in 2021, upping its number of sound-sensitive aliens and stars with appearances from the likes of Cillian Murphy, Djimon Hounsou, and more. A spinoff, A Quiet Place: Day One, premiered in 2024 and follows a new cast led by Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, and Alex Wolff.

Day One featured some loose connections to the original storyline but ultimately served as an in-between tale that could be watched without the context of the previous two movies. It also saw Krasinski step back from a directing role to focus on writing instead. Assuming A Quiet Place Part 3 ties back into Part 2 when it arrives in 2027, it will be the first time audiences have seen more from the original post-apocalyptic family in six years.

While we wait to learn more about A Quiet Place Part 3, you can read our reviews for Part 1, Part 2, and Day One. You can also learn more about a few Easter Eggs from the numbered sequel that may tie into the next movie.

The hinges are also mostly internally positioned so that they're near invisible. As befits an Alienware laptop, there are ample customization options for RGB LED lighting.

Why pick a Dell or Alienware gaming PC?

If you're in the market for a prebuilt gaming PC, Dell is one of best gaming brands we'd recommend. We Build the LEGO Batman Forever Batmobile, a Sleek Futuristic Vehicle from the 90s

Batman is absolutely no stranger to getting the LEGO treatment. Over the years, the iconic DC superhero has had countless iterations of sets and minifigures depecting everything from the live-action films to the animated shows, and of course from the comics. Many of these sets have since been retired, but they're still available at third party retailers like Amazon.

The Batmobile in particular has had wide breadth of LEGO adaptations, one of my favorites being the Tumbler from The Dark Knight. Now, we have a great to-scale recreation of the version from Joel Schumacher's movie Batman Forever from 1995.

Batman Forever celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025, and this intricate set is a great way to join in on the festivities. The Val Kilmer-led Batflick sees him and Robin (Chris O'Donnell) facing off against Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and the Riddler (Jim Carrey). Sadly, this set only comes with a new Batman minifigure. I would have loved to see Jim Carrey's Riddler in minifigure form. Notably, this version of the Batman minifigure comes with a rubber cape instead of the typical cloth capes from years past.

Coming in at 909 pieces, the finished vehicle is much larger in person than I had originally thought it would be; same with the box. The build is spread out throughout 10 separate bags of pieces, each containing a new component of the vehicle. Bigger, more detailed LEGO sets for adults always have impressive build strategies and steps. While this one is aimed at the 12+ age group, it uses some advanced techniques as well – the chassis on the Batmobile is a great example of this. The way it's built feels extremely sturdy, and is wide enough to support the huge amount of details of the exterior and still give it that slim look.

One of my favorite build techniques to see with any detailed LEGO car set are the wheel wells. Here, they're tall and super sleek, really capturing the essence of the vehicle's on-screen counterpart. The rear wheel wells sport those iconic points from Batman's cowl, giving it a nice aerodynamic look to go witih the narrowness of the Batmobile overall.

The level of detail under the hood and behind the wheel are equally as impressive. The nose of the car sports a sleek design with its grill that uses a really cool unorthodox Technic attachment style, complete with the bat symbol hidden in the design. Just like in the movie, you can pop up the front to expose the machine guns the car comes equipped with.

The cockpit is also extremely detailed. Each seat is made up of a few bricks to give off a racecar seat aesthetic, and the dashboard (which is two bricks adorned with stickers) really helps with immersion. My only gripe here is that the windshield piece can be a pain to remove.

Now that the chassis, exterior structures, and hood are done, let's have a look at the rest of the exterior. The body of the Batmobile is all black with sharp, distinct edges that closely mimic the Batsuit. Everything from the windshield onward is super sleek with rounded bricks to mimic the broken-looking design from the movie, and the blue translucent bricks are the set's attempt at giving it the blue glow we see on screen. On either side are what I'm calling the cars "ribs", which is another of my favorite details. Like I mentioned above, removing the windsheild to see the cockpit interior is a bit annoying since you'll likely knock a couple of these ribs off. It's an easy remedy, though.

The top rear and exhaust are also super detailed and complicated builds. The top and back of the cockpit uses arm-joint pieces to give it a sort of armored insect look, coming to a point at the back to match the rest of the vehicle's sharp edges. The massive fin on top is this Batmobile's focal point, and it really ties the rest of the build together.

The massive gray exhaust at the car's rear uses a cool technique I haven't seen before, and I'm suprised it didin't come with a big blue flame piece to attach to it for added detail.

To round it all out, the Val Kilmer Batman minifigure comes with a futuristic-looking display stand. It's made up of a few bricks, both with pointy black pieces and the same translucent blue to match the aesthetic of the Batmobile. On the front is a printed brick with the Riddler logo and "Batman Forever" on it. I appreciate that this is printed rather than a sticker, since over time it might warp or curl.

The build only took me about 2.5 hours to complete in one sitting, so throwing Batman Forever on in the background while you work your way through this set sounds like an incredible night to me. Once completed, it stands 6.5 inches tall and is 16 inches long, which is strikingly large. It's a great set to display in your home office or nerd cave (I'm still trying to find a good place for mine), and is the perfect addition to any LEGO or Batman fan's collection. Luckily, I'm very much both, and I think this is one of the best LEGO Batmobiles we've had years.
