Black Friday is over, but there are many deals still available this weekend, including Apple's AirPods 4 for just $69.00 at Walmart, down from $129.00. This is the base model without Active Noise Cancellation, and Walmart provides free shipping as well as local pickup options.

In addition to AirPods, Walmart's sale has solid discounts on iPhone 17 Clear and Silicone cases, as well as a nice markdown on the original M1 MacBook Air. In terms of the iPhone 17 cases, these are all matching the all-time low prices on each accessory.
For the M1 MacBook Air, this is the model from November 2020 and was one of the first Macs with an Apple silicon chip. While five years old, the M1 MacBook Air is still a capable machine for many typical day-to-day tasks, and a solid option at this discounted price of $549.00.

iOS 26.2 Will Bring 10+ New Features to Your iPhone
Apple is testing iOS 26.2, a new version of iOS 26 that’s going to come out right around mid-December. iOS 26.2 is going to bring big changes to iPhone users in Japan, but there are also quite a few feature tweaks available for everyone.
The new grip and stand, which also quickly sold out through Apple, is an accessibility-minded accessory that attaches to an iPhone via MagSafe. It was designed by LA-based Bailey Hikawa with direct input from individuals with disabilities affecting muscle strength, dexterity, and hand control.
Foldable iPhone to Debut These Three Breakthrough Features
We're continuing to hear rumors about the so-called "iPhone Fold," which is now expected to include three standout features that could set it apart from the competition.
Key rumored features include an industry-first 24-megapixel under-display camera built into the inner display, a crease-free design for the inner display, and a battery consisting of high-density cells that should give it the highest-capacity battery of any iPhone and top that of key competitors like Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7 and Google's Pixel Fold.
All of this certainly won't come cheap, however, with one recent report predicting that prices will be in the $2,400 range.
In his Power On newsletter this week, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said that iOS 27 will be similar to Mac OS X Snow Leopard, in the sense that Apple is focused on improving "quality and underlying performance" over adding new features.
Gurman said there is one exception to this rule, though, as he expects there to be new AI features. He said that iOS 27 will extend artificial intelligence to additional Apple apps, and he reiterated that there will be an Apple Health+ subscription service that offers personalized health recommendations and more.
Report: Low-Cost iPhone, iPad, MacBook Coming Early 2026
According to a new research report by Jeff Pu of GF Securities seen by MacRumors, Apple will launch the iPhone 17e – its second iteration of the "e" line – in the spring, likely along with a 12th-generation iPad, and a new MacBook featuring an A-series chip originally made for iPhones.

Scoring a sweet Black Friday deal on a set of AirPods, the M4 MacBook Air you have had your eye on, an iPad, or even Apple’s new M5 MacBook Pro at $250 off is a relatively easy process – follow 9to5Toys. An iPhone though is a bit of a different beast, especially when it comes to unlocked units. There are some seriously great iPhone deals out there, and perhaps the best source of all is Amazon’s Renewed Premium listings – there are hundreds in savings available here with solid 1-year warranties on the best condition units, but there are few things to watch out for so you don’t get burned.
One of my favorite iPhone features is StandBy, which turns your iPhone into a smart display when it’s in landscape orientation and charging. The best to take full advantage of StandBy is with an upright wireless charger.
Head below for a closer look at some of my favorite MagSafe stands for iPhone, perfect for StandBy. Even better, most of these are on massive deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping.

SupportApp has been one of my favorite free tools to recommend for IT teams who manage fleets of macOS devices. It gives IT teams easy access to the kind of system information that usually takes multiple steps to collect. With the new version 3.0, SupportApp undergoes a major redesign for macOS 26 (Liquid Glass), features improved accessibility, and introduces a new Configurator Mode that enables IT to build and test configurations directly within the app.

The iPhone Air was arguably the biggest innovation in iPhone design since the iPhone X. The iPhone Fold we’re expecting to see launch next year will be an even bigger shift.
All the signs point to the iPhone Fold being the best foldable smartphone launched to date, but there is one big problem with it – and it’s almost the obvious one …

Apple doesn't currently allow iPhone users to change the Side button's Siri functionality to another assistant, but owners of iPhone 15 Pro and newer models can assign ChatGPT to the Action button instead. Keep reading to learn how.
OpenAI's free ChatGPT app for iPhone lets you interact with the chatbot using text or voice. What's more, if you assign voice mode directly to the Action button, you can use it to jump straight into a spoken conversation, giving you quick, handsfree access to a far more capable assistant.
Swipe to Controls, then tap the two chevrons beside the currently assigned control.
Using the control search field, type "ChatGPT."
Select the control Open ChatGPT Voice.
A long press of the Action button will now open ChatGPT's voice mode. The first time you activate it, the app may request microphone access. Tap Allow to proceed. After that, you can begin speaking immediately.
A recent update means voice conversations now take place inside the same chat window as text-based prompts, instead of switching to a separate voice-only interface. Responses appear in real time, combining spoken output with on-screen text and any visuals the model generates. This keeps your conversation's context intact and makes switching between typing and speaking smoother.
Continue the Conversation Anywhere
You can also leave the ChatGPT app during a voice session without ending it. When you swipe away, the conversation continues and appears in the Dynamic Island as long as the assistant is listening and preparing a response. To stop, tap the Dynamic Island to return to the app, then tap End.
Note that while this setup gives you a fast, physical shortcut to a richer, more context-aware assistant, ChatGPT can't perform Siri-like system actions like accessing your calendar or setting an alarm.
This is it folks…Black Friday 2025 is here and so are the best prices of the year on just all of Apple’s latest and greatest. We have already collected an AirPods 4 with ANC, AirPods Pro 3, and AirPods Max, alongside a whole bunch more, but some brand new deals went live this morning. Firstly, Apple Watch Ultra 3. On the Mac side of things, the brand new M5 MacBook Pro has now dropped to new lows at $250 off and we have a wild $300 price drop on select M4 MacBook Air configs. But there’s tons more below.
The next-generation version of the iPad mini is expected to feature an OLED display, as part of Apple's plan to expand the display technology across many more of its devices. Apple's first OLED device was the Apple Watch in 2015, followed by the iPhone in 2017 and the iPad Pro in 2024. It now apparently plans to bring the technology to more devices, such as the iPad Air, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro, and could start with the iPad mini next year.
The current iPad mini has a Liquid Retina LCD display, just like the iPad Air. OLED offers higher contrast with true blacks, wider viewing angles, faster response times, better efficiency, and generally better perceived picture quality than LCD.
The current iPad mini came out in 2024, with the main upgrade over the previous version being the A17 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence support. The previous generation introduced a complete redesign and the A15 Bionic chip.
In August, Apple mistakenly shared code that revealed key information about the next-generation iPad mini with the codename J510/J511: The device features the A19 Pro chip, which is used in the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The current iPad mini uses a version of the A17 Pro chip from the iPhone 15 Pro with a five-core GPU. The A19 Pro used in the iPhone Air also has a five-core GPU, as opposed to the full six-core version in the iPhone 17 Pro models, so it seems likely that this binned version of the chip will be the one used in the next iPad mini.
Bloomberg claims that Apple is working on a version of the iPad mini that has a more water resistant design, making it the first iPad with a water resistance rating.
While the iPhone has IP68 water resistance that allows it to withstand submersion in water up to six meters deep for 30 minutes, it is not yet known what IP rating the iPad mini might feature. The iPad mini's updated casing is expected to offer water resistance similar to the iPhone, making it safe for casual use in wet environments like a bath or a pool area.
Apple has reportedly developed a new speaker system for the iPad mini that uses vibration-based technology, allowing for the speaker holes in the device to be removed. Removing the speaker holes would cut down on areas where water could get into the crevices of the iPad mini.
For the iPhone, Apple uses adhesive and gaskets to protect the speaker holes and other ingress points from water intrusion, so the iPad mini's design would be radically different. The current iPad mini does not have an official water resistance rating and it is not safe to get it wet.
With an OLED display, water resistance, a new speaker system, and a faster chip, the device is expected to be more expensive, and Apple could charge up to $100 more for the device. The iPad mini is currently priced starting at $499. Apple will purportedly launch the iPad mini 8 with OLED display in the third quarter of next year at the earliest.
