ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial Review - A Masterpiece

Fixer Undercover is a terrific escape room adventure limited only by your tolerance for jank.
Are you a fan of the I Expect You To Die trilogy, but always wish you could get up and walk around the room to figure out what to do? That's Fixer Undercover in a nutshell, an escape room spy thriller using handyman tools (a wrench, hammer, pliers, electric drill, and grinder) along with whatever happens to be in the room to get to the next room. Fixer Undercover adds full artificial locomotion to IEYTD's established formula and the ability to move around and get more hands-on with the environment is both a strength and a weakness.
Fixer Undercover stars a character codenamed, wait for it, The Fixer, a secret agent for an unnamed organization sent to a prison under the guise of a handyman. We're not alone though as a cute drone named Winston accompanies us for the duration of the game. Winston serves multiple functions: an extra set of holsters for tools, the source of the game's soundtrack via a radio it carries (with multiple stations to choose from), and the game's built-in hint system via a projector for a UI.

Fixer Undercover's story is told in media res, meaning most of the narrative has already happened and intermissions between chapters see Fixer and Winston recounting the mission and reading news articles written about it. It's an interesting choice because it removes virtually any sense of peril. For players who don't like to feel a time crunch or danger in their games, like a wall of lasers bearing down on them while trying to decipher a code on a keypad, this could be a good thing.
It's a narrative choice I've never really cared for, but it doesn't drag the game down at all. Fixer Undercover's tone is mostly light anyway, with Winston's stellar voice acting doing most of the tone setting. The story is perfunctory at best and I had already guessed the villain's true plan hours before it was revealed, but Fixer Undercover's gameplay is where it shines. Walking around a room looking for clues, places to use your tools (most of the time clearly marked yellow), or other random objects to get to hard-to-reach places is a genuine joy. The dopamine hit when finally exiting a room (even if a hint was used) was always there during my six hour playthrough.
Solving a puzzle in Fixer Undercover captured by UploadVR
The aforementioned weakness stems from something most VR players are used to: jank. Have you ever opened a drawer in VR and reached inside only to get a hand stuck and watch it violently vibrate and contort into inhuman angles before it snaps back to normal? There's a lot of that here. If two items are near each other, it's a coin toss on which one gets grabbed. More than once, I got a chair or a barrel or box stuck to my hand and had to move it completely across the room to avoid triggering it again.
If this is something you're used to from other games, it won't hinder your experience. This is the unintended side effect of allowing a VR player to be more hands-on with everything. It thankfully never prevents solving a puzzle, but getting a pair of jumper cables stuck on a chair one too many times can become a nuisance.

Graphically, Fixer Undercover is your average standalone VR game. Everything has that plastic looking sheen most Quest players will be accustomed to. I'm interested to see if the visuals get an uplift when the planned PC VR and PlayStation VR2 ports are released down the line. Ironically, that actually helps when solving puzzles. Items that cannot be touched are very easy to distinguish, which saves time that could be wasted trying to open or mess with anything non-interactable. Most of what can be touched, aside from all the food laying around, serves some sort of purpose.
Fixer Undercover, jank aside, is also a clean experience. No major bugs or performance issues to speak of and the game only hitched very briefly during scene loads. The only glitch I experienced was when I replayed the first room to record it. I moved a little too fast since I already knew what to do and one of Winston's lines ("you know you can open that flap, right?") got stuck on a loop for the rest of the room, repeating roughly every 30 seconds. There were times when lines of dialogue trampled one another, but that happens to me personally quite often because I move around a lot during chatty scenes and sometimes trigger a proximity based line.
Fixer Undercover uses stick-based movement with options for smooth or teleport locomotion and smooth or snap turning. It also has motion vignettes that can be turned off for experienced players.
There are multiple sections of climbing that may be tough for some users. The game also can be comfortably played seated and the hip holster even adds a wrap around method for easier grabbing when in the seated mode.
VR has always had a penchant for great puzzle games and Fixer Undercover is no exception. The heavy emphasis on VR interactions and encouragement to think outside the box on solutions makes for a highly entertaining spy caper. The game is only held back by a healthy dose of grab jank, average graphics, and a fairly predictable story. None of those should be dealbreakers though. Fixer Undercover is a worthy addition to any puzzle lover's library.

NVIDIA is out here living its best life as it rides an AI wave that has yet to break to yet another quarter of record earnings, driven primarily by more explosive growth in its Data Center division.
Total revenue for the fourth quarter, which ended January 26, 2026, tallied $68.1 billion for a 20% sequential gain and a massive 73% year-over-year Balatro is yet another hit indie rogue-like to have been released in the past couple years, with the Poker-inspired deck-builder selling millions of copies across its suite of platforms. Released for the OG Nintendo Switch back in early 2024, Balatro has now gotten a free Switch 2 Edition upgrade, adding full mouse mode support, a framerate bump and more.
In a surprise release, a Switch 2 version of Balatro recently landed on the Nintendo eShop. Being offered a free upgrade for those who already own it on Switch 1, the listing itself does not go into any details regarding what enhancements players can expect.
That said, the publication Nintendo Life has confirmed that the Switch 2 release includes full support for the system’s mouse mode – a welcome addition given the game’s card-based nature. Other noted enhancements include supposed support for HD Rumble 2 as well as a more smooth 60fps.
Oddly enough however, it appears as though the Switch 2 edition does not include any option to transfer over your progress from Switch 1. Hopefully this gets resolved sooner rather than later.
Regardless, Balatro is a highly addictive and replayable game, and worth experiencing on any system, be it the Switch 1; Switch 2; mobile; PC or wherever else. Now we just have to remain patient for the long-awaited update 1.1.

Continuing this trend with their recently-released sequel, the first crossover DLC coming to PowerWash Simulator 2 has now gotten an official release date, with the Adventure Time Pack arriving in early April.
Publishing a new trailer as part of IGN Fan Fest 2026, the team at FuturLab officially confirmed that the PowerWash Simulator 2 x Adventure Time DLC will arrive on the 9th of April.
Featuring 5 new levels to clean up, this DLC pack goes all-in on the Adventure Time aesthetics, transforming the artstyle into one which more closely matches the cartoon it’s based on.
Some of the levels will have you clean up Finn and Jake’s treehouse, while others require you to undo antics caused by the Ice King. All-in-all, this DLC seems to be quite faithful to the source material in a bunch of different and welcome ways.
Ahead of the DLC’s launch, FuturLab have also confirmed that PowerWash Simulator will be getting its big 1.2 update next month – set to introduce:

Arriving in March, all PS Plus users can look forward to claiming a variety of titles, including Monster Hunter Rise, indie hit Slime Rancher 2 and PGA Tour 2K25.
Making the announcement via the PSBlog, March’s PlayStation Plus Essential line-up includes 4 titles in total – all of which will be available to claim from the 3rd:
As expected, March’s PS Plus offerings are rather varied in nature, and so depending on the type of games you prefer, the headliner for the month could be any of these 4 titles.
PGA Tour 2K25 is the latest entry in 2K’s long-running golf series. While certainly not for everyone, those who enjoy the sport have deemed 2K25 to be a strong entry in the franchise.
Monster Hunter Rise on the other hand needs no introduction, with the highly-popular title having sold over 18 million copies; currently sitting as publisher Capcom’s 2nd best-selling game of all time. If you haven’t played a Monster Hunter game before, Rise is a solid place to start thanks to its refined combat and movement mechanics alongside its greater focus on battling monsters.
Slime Rancher 2 meanwhile is a sequel to the hit farming sim, in which you discover, raise and take care of a variety of different slimes – this time on the brand new Rainbow Island. If you enjoyed the first game then you’ll love its sequel.
Last but not least, The Elder Scrolls Online: Golden Road Collection includes pretty much all of the previous content released for the MMO over the past decade…everything except the 2025 content pass that is. Still, if you have yet to try out ESO, the Golden Road Collection nets you access to countless hours worth of gaming.
As mentioned, all 4 titles will be available to claim and download from the 3rd of March. This means that you have a little under a week to add February’s games to your library before they are removed – the details of which can be found HERE.

Unfortunately, in the wake of the recent shake-ups at Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Hexe’s director ‘Clint Hocking’ has left the promising project.
As reported by the publication VGC, following the recent shake-up at Ubisoft (which included an overhaul to the Assassin’s Creed franchise team), long-time veteran Clint Hocking has been confirmed to have departed Ubisoft.
Announced by the newly-appointed AC franchise leadership team during an internal meeting, Ubisoft confirmed that Hexe has not been cancelled and that development will continue. Jean Guesdon (the director of AC Origins and the beloved Black Flag) is taking over as creative director.
Speaking to VGC on this latest change, a spokesperson for the company shared the following:
“We sincerely thank [Clint] for his vision, creative contributions, and dedication over the years, and we wish him the very best in his next chapter. Development on Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe continues with a seasoned team. The game will deliver something distinctive within the Assassin’s Creed franchise. We look forward to sharing more information in the future.”
Assassin’s Creed Hexe was first teased all the way back in 2022. With little-to-nothing seen from the project since – and now this latest spanner being thrown into the works – it will be interesting to see what becomes of the title.
