Computex 2025: Nvidia reveals latest AI tools and Project G-Assist improvements

Prior to Computex, Nvidia invited members of the media to a briefing on upcoming announcements for gaming and AI. We've already gone over the RTX 5060 launch today, so now our attention turns towards Nvidia's latest AI software updates.

The Nvidia AI PC software stack now covers over 750 games and applications, making use of RTX GPUs' accelerating hardware. For instance, TensorRT still provides best-in-class AI performance with gains of up to 2x compared to DirectML. TensorRT for RTX will be available to developers in June, offering an optimised inference backend for PCs running AI applications.

The new NIM for RTX container will further aid development efforts, with pre-packaged generative AI models, optimised for TensorRT. NIMs and AI blueprints will be available to download via Nvidia's own website, as well as through partners.

Project G-Assist also continues to grow. This is Nvidia's locally-run AI digital assistant for PCs. Through new plugins, users can now use G-Assist in conjunction with popular apps like Discord, Twitch and Spotify, as well as more professional apps like IFTTT, Gemini, SignalRGB and penRGB.

The tools for developers to build their own plugins are now publicly available, so we should see even more functionality added to G-Assist over time.

KitGuru Says: As Leo noted during Nvidia's keynote presentation, the primary focus now is AI, with gaming starting to feel like a footnote in Nvidia's plans. With that said, some AI projects do intersect with gaming, like Project G-Assist.

Borderlands closing in on 100M copies sold

The Borderlands franchise continues to be a sales powerhouse in the looter-shooter genre. According to Take-Two Interactive's latest financial report, the series has sold approximately 93 million copies since its inception in 2009. However, it's far from being its most successful series, with GTA, NBA 2K, and Red Dead Redemption already exceeding 100M since their inception.

Starting with Borderlands, Borderlands 2 remains the series' best-seller, having moved over 30 million units since its 2012 debut. Borderlands 3 is positioned as ‘2K's fastest-selling title', surpassing 22 million units sold since its 2019 release. Beyond the main sequels, spin-offs like Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands have expanded the franchise's reach, even if at the same level as Borderlands 2 and 3.

With the next main instalment, Borderlands 4, just a few months away, the series' sales figure will surely increase. The game is expected to propel the franchise above the 100 million sales mark, putting it at the same level as the Red Dead Redemption series. However, the Red Dead Redemption series only has two entries, with Red Dead Redemption alone being able to sell over 74 million units.

The Grand Theft Auto series is still (and should maintain for the foreseeable future) Take-Two's best-selling franchise, with almost 450 million units sold, up from 440 million in the previous quarter. Grand Theft Auto V alone has sold over 215 million units, 5 million more than last quarter. As for the NBA 2K series, it has sold over 160 million units globally, an increase from over 155 million. Lastly, Sid Meier's Civilisation series has sold over 76 million units, up from over 73 million.

KitGuru says: Surprised by any of the sales figures shared by Take-Two on the earnings call?

Computex 2025: Intel unveils new Arc Pro Battlemage GPUs, Gaudi 3 accelerators and more

At Computex this week, Intel is showcasing two new graphics cards – the Intel Arc Pro B50 and Arc Pro B60, designed for professional workstations, rather than gaming PCs. Intel is also furthering its push in AI with the new Gaudi 3 accelerator and the new Intel AI Assistant Builder.

Starting off with new graphics cards, Intel has expanded its Arc Pro graphics card line-up with the new B50 and B60 GPUs. These are the latest GPUs based on Inte's Arc Battlemage architecture, as well as Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) AI cores and Ray Tracing units to accelerate intensive visual and AI workloads.

The GPUs are optimised for architecture, engineering, construction and inference workstations, offering stability and performance through a wide range of independent software vendor (ISV) certifications and optimized software. The Intel Arc Pro B-Series GPUs are compatible with consumer and pro drivers on Windows. On Linux, the GPUs support a containerized software stack to simplify AI deployments, and will be progressively upgraded with features and optimisations.

The Intel Arc Pro B60 GPU will be sampling from add-in board partners including ASRock, Gunnir, Lanner, Maxsun, Onix, Senao and Sparkle starting in June 2025. The Intel Arc Pro B50 GPU will be available from Intel-authorized resellers starting in July 2025.

Moving more into the topic of AI, Intel has launched the Gaudi 3 AI accelerator. These PCIe cards support scalable AI inferencing within existing data center environments. Customers can expect Gaudi 3 to provide a use when running AI models like Llama, and Maverick. These PCIe cards will be available starting in the second half of this year. The rack-scale version supports up to 64 accelerators per rack and offers up to 8.2TB of high-bandwidth memory. The racks are designed with liquid cooling in mind too for those seeking the highest performance possible.

The final thing on Intel's Computex list is the AI Assistant Builder. This lightweight, open source software framework is now available, allowing developers to create custom AI assistants that run locally. The public beta release is now available through GitHub, and systems from the likes of Acer and Asus will be demonstrating examples at Computex.

KitGuru Says: Unfortunately the rumoured high-end ‘Battlemage' gaming GPU was a no show here. However, Battlemage is expanding in other areas as Intel looks to take a larger piece of the AI enterprise market.

Wooting is launching a 60HE V2 keyboard in Q4 2025

Wooting, known for making analogue and Hall-Effect keyboards popular, is back with an updated version of the 60HE. Building on that foundation, they've introduced the Wooting 60HE v2, incorporating years of feedback and technological advancements to push the original model to new heights. The new keyboard will be available in Q4 2025.

One upgrade in the 60HE V2 is the updated MCU, enabling the keyboard to poll at up to a blistering 8K Hz. With Tachyon Mode enabled (which turns off RGB), it achieves ‘real 8K polling' with precise analogue key scanning, reducing input latency to 0.125 ms. The keyboard comes pre-assembled with the new linear Lekker Tikken switches (MX stem), the latest addition to the Lekker family. These are the first closed-bottom switches with a full 4 mm actuation range, designed to provide a marbly sound profile. With a rated lifespan of 100M clicks, the Lekker Tikken switches have a 40cN start and 60cN end force.

The 60HE v2 features a full aluminium casing with an enhanced design, including a friction-fit mount and silicone standoffs to protect the PCB. Users can also customise the look with replaceable strap and no-strap components on each side and choose between a standard or split space bar layout.

To shape the keyboard's sound and feel, Wooting is including a PET film layer behind the switches for a marbly sound, a PC plate sandwiched in HD Poron layers to soften keystrokes and add low-frequency sound, and an FR4 switch plate for a thocky sound. The bottom case dampening is made with a removable silicone block that can be replaced with EPDM foam or left empty for different acoustic profiles.

KitGuru says: Have you ever tried a keyboard with analogue or Hall-Effect switches? What do you think of the upcoming Wooting 60HE V2 keyboard?

Computex 2025: Leo reacts to Nvidia keynote – does Nvidia still care about gamers?

Computex 2025 is now underway and we are beginning the week with Nvidia's keynote. Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, is hosting once again and Leo has come away with the impression that Nvidia just doesn't care about gamers anymore.

While Nvidia did give a few gaming-related updates to members of the media prior to the event, Jensen's actual keynote was entirely focused on AI, outside of a quick mention of the RTX 5060 desktop graphics card and RTX 5060 for laptops, both of which are available starting today.

Nvidia is now described as an AI infrastructure company, pushing the acceleration and adoption of this technology. However, Nvidia is also exploring Quantum Computing, which could open up a whole new avenue for Nvidia's massive supercomputers.

The keynote closed out with talk of Nvidia's new headquarters being built in Taiwan, codenamed ‘Constellation'. In all, the keynote gives the impression that the future for Nvidia will clearly be AI focused, and gaming is becoming more of a footnote in the company's plans.

KitGuru Says: Did any of you tune into Nvidia's Computex keynote? Do you think we'll eventually see Nvidia drop ‘gaming' from its portfolio and entirely focus on enterprise and B2B sales?

Xbox firmware update brings new homescreen customisation options

While the company may not have introduced a brand new UI for its latest Xbox Series X|S consoles, Microsoft has continued to update and refine the overall user experience on Xbox through consistent firmware updates. As part of the newest release, Xbox owners will soon be able to customise their homescreen to a much greater degree.

Making the announcement via a blog post, Xbox’s Eden Marie detailed the latest firmware update coming to those signed up for the Xbox Insider Program, writing: “Starting this week, Xbox Insiders will notice a fresh set of customization options rolling out to the recently played games and apps list on Home. This update is part of our ongoing effort to make Home more personal, flexible, and responsive to your feedback.”

With that, the full list of new features landing with this update include the following:

  • You can now hide system apps from the recently played games and apps list on Home
  • You can now pin up to three of your recently played games or apps directly to the recently played games and apps list
  • You can now reduce the number of visible tiles in the recently played games and apps list
Xbox Firmware Xbox Firmware

Currently available to ‘Alpha Skip-Ahead’ and regular ‘Alpha’ users, these changes were made in “direct response” to fan feedback, writing “We’ve heard from many of you that Home should feel more like your space. Whether it’s surfacing your favorite games, hiding what you don’t use, or simply making Home feel less crowded.”

Though far from the most transformative update, this latest firmware release should allow those who prefer a clean homescreen to finally have the catharsis which they have long wanted.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this latest update? Is your homescreen organised? What other features would you like to see changed/added? Let us know down below.

First-party Nintendo titles won’t use the Switch 2’s Game-Key Card system

One of the biggest controversies surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2 currently is its use of a new Game-Key Card feature, which essentially gives you a physical cartridge which holds little more than a ‘game key’ to allow owners to then download the game to their system’s internal storage. While a large portion of the currently-announced 3rd party titles will be using these Game-Key Cards, Nintendo has no plans to utilise these cards for their own first-party titles.

In a statement by Nintendo UK to the Switch-focused publication NintendoLife, the console maker claimed that “We currently have no plans to use game-key cards for Nintendo-developed titles.”

Of course, though far from a permanent and definitive statement, it does put to rest some concerns which players had regarding Switch 2 games – especially as physical releases will now cost consumers extra compared to digital.

Game-Key Switch

That said, it will be interesting to see how closely Nintendo sticks to this as currently the Switch 2 only offers a 64GB cartridge or the aforementioned Game-Key Card. What Nintendo will choose to do if/when one of their first party titles exceeds 64GB in size, we will have to wait and see.

At the very least it seems that for now, those who purchase any first-party Nintendo titles can rest assured that the cartridges themselves will be actual cartridges.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the new Game-Key Card system? Is 64GB too little for the current console generation? Will Nintendo eventually introduce a 128GB card? Let us know your thoughts down below.

Testing

To put this case through its cooling paces we will be using a test system consisting of an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, Radeon RX 6950XT and an SSD. This system allows us to produce a substantial amount of heat and effectively test the DeepCool CH690 Digital‘s cooling capabilities.

Test System:

  • Processor: Intel Core Ultra 7 265K
  • CPU Cooler: Corsair H170i Elite Capellix
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Pro Ice
  • Memory: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000

Cooling Performance

Cooling Performance Overview

These results are some of the strangest we have seen as it doesn't much matter how many fans you install in the DeepCool CH690 Digital, but instead the main factor is how fast you run the fans. It is clear to us that the mesh pattern used by DeepCool is quite restrictive and the fans have to work hard to overcome that obstacle.

Closing Thoughts

The DeepCool CH690 Digital is one of a great many PC cases on the market that give you plenty of space to showcase your PC components with a good amount of tempered glass to allow you to make the most of the inevitable show of RGB lighting. The difference with the CH690 is that the glass is on the front and side – as expected – and also on the back, which is unusual. If you want to install a fan in the rear of this case you have to do a bit of panel swapping, as we show in our video.

Once we had built our test PC and installed an AIO cooler in the roof along with seven 120mm fans we found the lighting show to be very pleasant and we also enjoyed the digital display in the side of the case that reports data from the CPU and graphics card. The weird thing is that cooling is more dependant on fan speed than it is on the number of fans you install. This means you can either have a quiet but warm PC or a really loud PC that cools effectively, exactly as you will see in our video.

You can buy the DeepCool CH690 Digital for £99.99 inc VAT HERE.

Pros:

  • Loads of options for cooling, up to 420mm in the roof.
  • Digital display is included.
  • The CH690 is so large it cools fairly well without any case fans.

Cons:

  • There are very few cable grommets and cable management is basic.
  • The square pattern holes in the steel panels seem rather restrictive.
  • User guide is tiny.
  • No fans are included.

KitGuru says: The DeepCool CH690 Digital has plenty of ‘show’ and not so much ‘go’.

Leaker claims Netherrealm is working on Injustice 3

Switching up their typical development cycle, NetherRealm Studios followed up 2019’s Mortal Kombat 11 not with a 3rd Injustice game, but instead another entry in the Mortal Kombat series: MK1. Reception towards the game was mild, with its post-launch support receiving particular criticism – ultimately ending its live-service plans prematurely. With MK1 now out of the way, it seems Netherrealm is finally returning to Injustice 3.

As reported by known Warner Bros. / Multiversus leaker ‘multiversusie’ the insider shared a rather humorous tease for what Netherrealm has planned next, taking to twitter to say:

“Multiversus shutting down is an injustice, then doing it all again is another injustice. Leaving me without any leaks is yet again another injustice. 3”

Though not outwardly stated, this is a clear reference to Injustice 3 seemingly being Netherrealm’s next project.

Netherrealm Injustice 3

As mentioned, the studio has in the past released an Injustice game following each new Mortal Kombat title – with MK1 being the first time they’ve moved away from this structure.

Given the disappointing performance of Mortal Kombat 1 however, it seems either WB, or Netherrealm (or both) figured out that following up a Mortal Kombat with another MK title may not have been the best move.

It will be interesting to see how an Injustice 3 will be received – especially in a post-MK1 world.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this leak? Would you welcome a 3rd Injustice game? Or would you rather Netherrealm work on something entirely new? Let us know down below.

Kojima’s Death Stranding film is planned to release in 2027

Death Stranding has been a huge hit for Hideo Kojima, with the the first ‘strand type’ game surpassing 20 million players while spawning a sequel and an upcoming film adaptation. According to Kojima, the film is currently scheduled to arrive some time in 2027.

As part of an interview with French magazine Le Film Francais, Kojima spoke on a range of topics from the upcoming Death Stranding film to his other project Physint.

With regards to the former, a tentative release date was shared, with the publication stating (as translated by ResetEra user Red Kong XIX): “An adaptation of Death Stranding is in development at A24, with a release planned for 2027. Would you one day like to direct a film?” to which Kojima responded:

“Oh yes! I've had so many offers since I left Konami, with serious conditions to develop games in my independent studio. Besides Death Stranding 2, there's also Physint in development. That will take me another five or six years. But maybe after that, I could finally decide to take on a film. I grew up with cinema. Directing would be, in a way, a tribute to it. Also, I'm getting older, and I'd prefer to do it while I'm still young!”

Death Stranding 2027

Beyond confirmation of Death Stranding’s film release, it is also interesting to learn just how far along the director’s PlayStation exclusive ‘action espionage’ Physint is currently – which is to say, not that far along.

Perhaps most curiously is the omission of any mention of Kojima’s other in-development project, the Xbox aligned genre-breaking OD. Announced back in 2023, the experimental title appears to be further along in development when compared to Physint – making the lack of any updates curious to say the least.

Of course, in the meantime, fans can look forward to Death Stranding 2’s release, which is set to arrive in just over a month’s time.

KitGuru says: Are you excited for Death Stranding 2? Are you more curious to see OD or Physint? What do you think their final titles will actually be? Let us know down below.

MSI expands QD-OLED monitor lineup with first 500Hz display

MSI is showcasing a new line of AI-powered QD-OLED gaming monitors at Computex 2025. There are two new models: the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 and the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50.

Leveraging Samsung Display's 3rd-generation QD-OLED technology, both monitors are 27-inch displays featuring WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, a 500Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms GTG response time. These monitors meet the VESA ClearMR 21000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certifications, ensuring industry-leading motion clarity, high contrast, true blacks, and rich colour (around 99% DCI-P3). The MPG 271QR is highlighted as the “world's first” 27-inch 2K QD-OLED at 500Hz, while the MAG 272QP is billed as MSI's first 27-inch 2K QD-OLED esports gaming monitor.

Although both monitors look the same spec-wise, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 has some unique AI features that the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 doesn't. These AI features include the AI Navigator, which provides a simplified menu for easily adjusting and optimising the monitors' AI settings in one location. Moreover, MSI's AI Care Sensor uses real-time human identification and dynamically modifies settings to protect the monitor and increase efficiency. This system, powered by an NPU-based IC and CMOS sensor, detects user presence; when no user is identified, it automatically dims the monitor or engages OLED Care features, extending the monitor's life while saving energy.

Both monitors are covered by the MSI OLED Care program, but while the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 is under version 2.0, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 is covered by version 3.0, likely due to the OLED-protective AI features that it has. Pricing and availability aren't yet known for the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 (should be cheaper than the MAG 272QP), but these could be unveiled during Computex 2025. As for the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50, this monitor is already available in China and costs about CNY 6000 (£626).

AMD Zen 5-based CPUs and APUs are still coming out, but details about their next generation of chips are already starting to surface. According to a recent report, potential configurations for AMD's Zen 6-based APUs, codenamed “Medusa Point”, have appeared.

The “Medusa Point 1”, as HXL refers to it, reportedly has a quite different core configuration. The Ryzen 5 and 7 chips will supposedly pack up to 10 CPU cores in a hybrid structure: four classic high-performance cores, four ‘dense' cores, and two low-power cores. Moreover, the leak suggests eight RDNA 3.5+ CUs for integrated graphics, a new RDNA graphics architecture built upon the RDNA 3.5 that we've already seen in action.

The leaks also include rumours about how AMD might scale up for higher-end Ryzen 9 APUs based on this architecture. Speculation suggests AMD could add more cores via an extra CCD, adding 12 classic cores to the base configuration for a total of up to 22 CPU cores, while the integrated graphics are expected to remain at 8 CUs.

This modular approach is not new to AMD, as seen in previous designs like the Strix Halo platform. Interestingly, the rumoured 8 CUs in Medusa Point are a considerable decrease compared to the 16 CUs of Strix Point, suggesting that Medusa Point might not be a direct successor to Strix Point but an entirely new series. On the other hand, we don't know the enhancements that RDNA 3.5+ brings, which might compensate for the reduced CU count.

KitGuru says: Based on the report's information, is Medusa Point a sure win or a possible flop?

Stellar Blade studio in talks with Sony after PC release region locked

Stellar Blade is heading to PC next month but the game has unfortunately found itself roped into a long-running controversy with Sony. With Stellar Blade now being listed on Steam, fans have quickly learned that the game is regionally blocked from being sold in over 170 countries.

If you were following the Helldivers 2 launch in 2024, this will all sound very familiar. When Sony began enforcing PSN integration with its PC published games, Sony had to go back and remove the game from sale in over 170 countries, as PSN is not available in those territories. Since then, games like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and other PlayStation PC titles have also been blocked in those same countries. With PlayStation publishing Stellar Blade on PC, this game has also fallen subject to Sony's sales policy.

Fans were quick to denounce the game for this and developer, Shift Up, has confirmed it is in discussions with Sony about this. However, Arrowhead Studios did the same thing when this controversy hit Helldivers 2, and no changes came out of it.

Stellar Blade launches on PC on the 11th of June.

KitGuru Says: Unfortunately, Sony is unlikely to change its mind here, as it hasn't done so for any other game in the past year.

Nintendo confirms Switch 2 does not support VRR while docked

Last month, Nintendo removed mentions of the Switch 2's support for Variable Refresh Rate from its website. This was confusing, as previously Nintendo had confirmed that the console supports VRR. Now several weeks later, we finally have an explanation.

In a statement given to Nintendo Life (via Eurogamer), Nintendo confirmed that VRR is supported on the Switch 2's mobile display. However, the console does not support VRR in docked mode.

“Nintendo Switch 2 supports VRR in handheld mode only. The incorrect information was initially published on the Nintendo Switch 2 website, and we apologise for the error”.

It is unclear if VRR will be enabled for docked mode later on but it is not something Switch 2 buyers should expect as part of the package.

The Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5th for £399.

KitGuru Says: Not having VRR in docked mode immediately puts the Switch 2 at a disadvantage for 120Hz games. At those higher refresh rates, frame rates tend to waver more frequently, which can in turn cause a lot of screen tearing.

Activision shuts down Warzone Mobile

While COD Mobile has been a huge success for Activision, Warzone Mobile did not take off after its launch last year. As a result, Warzone Mobile will soon shut down.

Warzone Mobile was separate from COD Mobile, which already contains its own Battle Royale and Zombies modes. Considering that, it isn't entirely surprising to see that Warzone Mobile as a standalone game didn't really take off.

Warzone Mobile released on iOS and Android in March 2024, while COD Mobile has been out since 2019 and has only improved over time.

Activision confirmed on Friday that Warzone Mobile has “not met expectations with mobile-first players”. Starting today, the 18th of May, the game will no longer be available to download.

KitGuru Says: COD Mobile is just a better and more complete game. Warzone Mobile as a standalone game was already competing with a more established version of itself.

Marathon could be delayed as Bungie undergoes full review of in-game assets

This week, Bungie found itself in hot water again after another instance of the studio stealing art. Bungie was quick to admit that stolen art did appear in the Marathon alpha build but the studio may have bigger problems on its hands.

Paul Tassi, a well-known Destiny reporter, has heard that morale amongst Bungie employees is at an all-time low after this week's events. Development on Marathon has hit a roadblock, as Bungie and Sony legal teams now need to review all assets in the game to ensure any stolen art is removed and replaced.

Right now, it is unclear how long this review of assets will take, but there is some internal discussion of a delay. Marathon was planned to release in September but now with so much negativity surrounding the game, launching that early could be a mistake. However, there is also concern internally about what will happen to the studio if Marathon is not a success. There is a sense that this is a make or break moment for Bungie.

While Marathon did just recently have a publicly playable alpha, Bungie was unable to show any new gameplay during its dev stream this week, due to the stolen art fiasco. With that in mind, plans to even showcase more of the game are likely to be impacted.

If Marathon does flop, it is likely that Sony will begin to take full control of Bungie. Considering what has happened at the studio under current leadership, a change at the top might be for the best.

KitGuru Says: Did you play the Marathon alpha at all? Are you looking forward to the game and would a delay impact that?

Epic says Apple has ‘blocked’ Fortnite for iOS

It has been several weeks since a US court ruled that Apple could no longer block developers from using third-party payment providers for in-app purchases. This move opened the door up for Fortnite to return to the iOS App Store. However, Apple is now finding seemingly new excuses to keep the game off the store

Epic Games resubmitted Fortnite for the App Store on the 9th of May and by May 14th, Apple had still not approved the game. Now, Epic says that Apple has “blocked” Fortnite's return to the App Store:

Epic says that Fortnite on iOS “will be offline worldwide” until Apple unblocks the game. Apple has not publicly commented on the matter.

Fortnite had existed on the iOS App Store for years before Apple pulled the game due to an update that included a third-party payment method, circumventing Apple's rules that all apps use Apple Pay. Since then, courts around the world have ruled this practice as illegal, forcing Apple to allow developers to use third-party systems for in-app purchases. In some parts of the world, Apple has also been forced into allowing third-party stores and app sideloading.

KitGuru Says: I expect we'll get more news on this in the next week. Epic wants Fortnite back on iOS, so it is going to be pushing as much as it can.

    • 1x RJ45 (2.5Gbps)

The core specs are confirmed in the following CPU-Z and GPU-Z screenshots:

Game testing on the Titan HX AI was carried out using only the native resolution of 3840×2400 as, with a machine of this price, it's fair to assume that reducing the resolution wouldn't be something that most users would be particularly open to. To counter this, I tested all titles configured without any form of scaling or ray tracing and then with the addition of DLSS, frame generation and ray tracing where available. All titles were running at their maximum settings (excluding RT) throughout the testing.

Native, rasterised performance varied from title to title, was decent on the whole, especially when we take the resolution in to account. Adding in RT, frame generation and DLSS saw significant FPS improvements in some titles, such as Cyberpunk but then marginal gains in others.

For full details of all titles we tested, check out our full video review on YouTube.

Cyberpunk 2077 (3840×2400 – Max Settings – DLSS Balanced , 4X MFG, Ultra RT)

Cyberpunk 2077 (3840×2400 – Max Settings – No Scaling , MFG or RT)

Forza Horizon 5 (3840×2400 – Max Settings – DLSS Balanced, FG On, High RT)

Forza Horizon 5 (3840×2400 – Max Settings – No Scaling , FG or RT)

A Plague Tale: Requiem (3840×2400 – Max Settings – DLSS Balanced, FG On, RT On)

A Plague Tale: Requiem (3840×2400 – Max Settings – No Scaling , FG or RT)

Closing Thoughts

The Titan 18 HX AI is a stunning laptop with an eye watering price tag.

The core specs are impressive – the combination of an Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX, Nvidia RTX 5090 mobile, 64GB of DDR5 memory running at 6400MT/s and a whopping 6TB of Raid 0 configured SSD storage combine to deliver truly top tier mobile performance. The design is eye-catching and the machine definitely has the ‘wow factor' – The seamless, haptic trackpad and fully mechanical keyboard are exceptional and the best I've seen in any gaming laptop.

There are some downsides though – the obvious one being the price – but if portability is high on your priority list then the 18″, 3.6KG behemoth of a laptop that is the Titan 18 HX AI may not be for you. What's more, the laptop does suffer from slight thermal throttling when running in its highest performance mode, but not to the level we've seen in previous high end, Intel based gaming laptops.

Also, while the screen is good, there are other options available with higher refresh rates which may suit anyone playing competitive titles a little better, though 120Hz at UHD+ is still very appealing.

All in all, this is a seriously impressive piece of tech, with a price tag to match, given you can buy the Titan 18 HX AI for £6099.98 from Scan HERE.

Pros:

  • Stunning design.
  • Exceptional fully mechanical RGB keyboard.
  • Seamless, haptic trackpad with full RGB backlighting.
  • Good native gaming performance with DLSS and Frame Generation.
  • Very fast 6TB Raid 0 NVMe SSD array.

Cons:

  • Very expensive.
  • Mediocre battery life.
  • Poor quality webcam and speakers.

KitGuru says: The MSI Titan 18 HX Ai is truly a stunning laptop, but with a price this high, it had to be.

Stellar Blade PC system requirements announced

Prepare your PCs, as Shift Up has finally released the official system requirements and key features for Stellar Blade's upcoming launch on the platform. The developers have confirmed that the game will utilise Denuvo's anti-tamper technology and is set to arrive on PC on June 11th.

Built on Unreal Engine 4, Stellar Blade's PC version will support modern upscaling and frame generation technologies. At launch, it will feature Nvidia DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, alongside AMD FSR 3.0 support (though there's currently no information on Intel XeSS). The game will offer uncapped framerates, support ultra-wide displays, and include Japanese and Chinese voice packs in addition to the English one.

Looking at the system requirements, Shift Up has provided targets for 60 FPS gameplay. For the minimum experience, targeting 1080p resolution at low settings, players will need at least an Intel Core i5-7600k or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X CPU paired with 16 GB of RAM. According to the developer, the bare minimum GPU is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580, and the game will require 75GB of storage space.

Moving up to the recommended specifications, targeting 1440p resolution at medium settings and 60 FPS, the CPU recommendation increases to an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, keeping the 16 GB RAM requirement. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super or an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. Stellar Blade is coming to PC on June 11th.

KitGuru says: Are you planning on getting Stellar Blade for PC? Is your system ready for it?

Bungie confirms Marathon alpha included stolen artwork

Bungie has come under fire for copying artwork in the past, but the latest allegation is alarmingly bigger. An artist has discovered that the design language they developed, and elements from a number of their own posters, are plastered all over Bungie's next major game, Marathon.

The artist, Fern Hook, was made aware of their work being copied after Marathon became publicly playable for the first time. In a series of tweets, he shows screenshots of areas where Marathon uses art lifted from his series of posters. There are examples spread out all over the maps present in the Marathon alpha.

the Marathon alpha released recently and its environments are covered with assets lifted from poster designs i made in 2017.@Bungie @josephacross pic.twitter.com/0Csbo48Jgb

— N² (@4nt1r34l) May 15, 2025

Bungie has already confirmed that pieces of Hook's artwork were indeed present in the Marathon alpha. Bungie has reached out to Hook, likely to offer compensation.

We immediately investigated a concern regarding unauthorized use of artist decals in Marathon and confirmed that a former Bungie artist included these in a texture sheet that was ultimately used in-game.

— Marathon Team (@marathonteam.bungie.net) 16 May 2025 at 04:21

In its statement, Bungie also explained that the artist responsible for putting pieces of Hook's posters in the game is no longer employed at Bungie. However, that doesn't really account for the fact that so much of the game's design was seemingly informed by this artist's previous work.

In a separate case, Bungie is being sued for allegedly copying story elements for the original Destiny 2 Red War campaign. Bungie is unable to submit evidence to argue against the claim due to the Red War campaign being removed from Destiny 2.

KitGuru Says: This isn't the first time that Bungie has had to pay an artist after using their work. At a certain point, it starts to look like a pattern, and they keep getting caught, something that will be hugely concerning to Bungie's new owners at Sony.

Blue Protocol is coming to the west after all

Following the cancellation of the original PC version of Blue Protocol, the game appears to be getting a second chance in North America, Europe, and Latin America. The mobile version, previously known as Star Resonance, has reportedly been adapted into a full-scale PC MMO and will release under the name Blue Protocol Star Resonance.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance is being created by Bokura, a Tencent-owned studio, in collaboration with Bandai Namco. A Plus Japan will handle the Western release, which is primarily geared towards English-speaking audiences in North America, Europe, and Latin America.

The game aims to build upon the franchise's signature anime aesthetic, offering players a vibrant, action-packed MMORPG experience. It's expected to feature the dynamic combat system, open environment, character customisation, and multiplayer social experiences like guilds that players have anticipated from the franchise. Specific details are limited for now, with no release date announced beyond 2025.

The system requirements have already been shared, and it seems the game will be relatively easy to run. Across both minimum and recommended tiers, players will need Windows 10 64-bit, 16 GB of RAM, and 35 GB of storage space. For the minimum experience, the developers list an Intel i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 paired with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or an AMD Radeon RX 580. Stepping up to the recommended specifications, CPU recommendations rise to an Intel i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, and the recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT.

KitGuru says: Were you interested in the previous iteration of Blue Protocol? Will you try the new one, even knowing it's not from the same developer?

Acer launches brand new Aspire, Swift and Predator laptops

KitGuru visited Acer HQ in Lugano earlier this year to get hands-on with the next generation of laptops for the Nitro, Predator, Aspire and Swift ranges. Today, we are able to share everything we learned and saw, with the new laptops being officially announced ahead of Computex.

Unlike ultraportables, where weight and battery life dominate, Acer Predator systems prioritise power, thermal headroom and user control – key elements for running demanding games, heavy production workloads or AI-enhanced applications. Traditionally they will be designed around peak specifications, but the models we got hands-on with were fitted with RTX 5070 graphics – with a parting message that “The best is yet to come” – which naturally leads to speculation that more models will be introduced before the end of Q3 2025.

Both new models in Acer’s 2025 Predator AI refresh – the Helios Neo 14 AI and Triton 14 AI – bring with them significant upgrades, including Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPUs. Shared core specifications include:

  • Up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory
  • Up to 2TB NVMe SSD storage, though only the Triton uses PCIe Gen 5
  • Up to RTX 5070 Laptop GPU
  • Support for Thunderbolt 4, Windows 11, AI-enhanced video and audio processing, and PredatorSense system tuning software

Both systems also include Acer’s PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0, which use AI to optimise webcam and microphone performance. They each offer high-resolution WQXGA+ (2880×1800) displays with DCI-P3 100% coverage, and both feature high-speed wireless connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E on the Neo, and Wi-Fi 7 on the Triton. We’re not quite sure why the entire range would not have been fitted with WiFi-7, but in real world use-case scenarios – you’re unlikely to feel the difference.

So what is the difference between the Helios Neo 14 AI and the Triton 14 AI? Well, the Helios Neo 14 features a 14.5-inch 120Hz WQXGA+ display, combined with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor. It uses LPDDR5X 6400MHz memory and offers up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The thermal solution includes 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, Vortex Flow, vector heat pipes, and liquid metal grease, making this configuration ideal for high frame-rate gaming and sustained GPU workloads in a compact chassis.

The Predator Triton 14 AI is positioned more toward creators and premium users, the Triton 14 AI includes a 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen with Calman verification and a Core Ultra 9 288V processor with RTX graphics. Notably, it features much faster 8533MHz LPDDR5X memory and PCIe Gen 5 SSD support—a clear step up in bandwidth. It also introduces a 6-speaker array, per-key RGB lighting, haptic touchpad with pen input, graphene thermal interface, and a vapor chamber, indicating a stronger emphasis on content creation and premium thermals.

The Acer Aspire was originally introduced in the late 1990s. The latest refresh is built around Microsoft's Copilot+ PC initiative and looks to respond to a growing demand for accessible systems capable of supporting AI-assisted workflows and enhanced multitasking.

So what do these new models have in common? The new Aspire AI models – Aspire 14 AI, Aspire 16 AI (Snapdragon) and Aspire 16 AI (Intel) share a consistent foundation in both industrial design and technical specification. All three feature a slim aluminium chassis with a 180-degree hinge and offer battery life rated up to 22 hours. The displays support 16:10 aspect ratios, with optional touchscreen functionality.

On the specification side, each model supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. AI functionality is a central feature across the range, with Copilot+ PC support, integrated Copilot and Cocreator tools and Acer’s own enhancements for voice and video, including PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView (both version 2.0). Other commonalities include IR cameras with privacy shutters, integrated security features, HDMI output (up to 8K), and microSD card readers. Connectivity standards are also high across the board, with Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3 or newer.

It's not exactly the case that all of Ace's new laptop are available in black or white – with a choice of three CPUs – but it's close.

The Aspire 14 AI is the most compact model in the line-up, featuring a 14-inch OLED display (16:10 aspect ratio). It is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI processor and includes Wi-Fi 6E. The size and weight make it more suitable for users prioritising mobility.

Aspire 16 AI is built around Qualcomm's Snapdragon X platform with an 8-core CPU and a 45 TOPS NPU, this variant features a 16-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and is positioned as the model most aligned with extended battery life and native ARM optimisation for AI tasks.

Finally, the Intel based Aspire 16 AI uses a 16-inch form factor, incorporating an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with Arc graphics. It includes a 2K OLED display, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.4, suggesting a stronger emphasis on high-speed peripheral compatibility and enhanced display fidelity.

Since its inception, Acer’s Swift line has focused on delivering thin, lightweight laptops designed to balance usability, style, and efficiency. Positioned between entry-level consumer devices and high-spec productivity systems, Swift has historically targeted users who need strong day-to-day performance in a chassis that won’t weigh down a bag or briefcase.

When you’re in a shop, the difference between 1.1kg and 1.6kg can seem minute, but if you’re carrying it on your shoulder all day long – you start to notice the extra half a kilo.

For 2025, the Swift range evolves again with the introduction of the AI-enhanced Swift Go 16, Swift X 14, and Swift Edge 14. All three are part of the Copilot+ PC initiative with NPU acceleration for AI-assisted workflows and enhanced battery management. Despite their compact builds and modest positioning in the market, these systems incorporate a number of flagship-level features—particularly around display quality, AI capabilities, and connectivity.

What do the specifications have in common?  Well, all three models feature:

  • Intel Core Ultra 9 processors with 48 TOPS AI compute capability
  • Up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSDs (1TB max on Swift Edge)
  • Copilot+ PC features, including Microsoft Copilot and Acer's PurifiedVoice, PurifiedView, and User Sensing (all in version 2.0)
  • OLED panels with at least 2K resolution and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage
  • VESA DisplayHDR 500, Eyesafe Certified 2.0, and facial recognition via IR webcams
  • Wi-Fi 6E or 7, Bluetooth 5.3 or 5.4, and Thunderbolt 4 ports
  • Slim chassis designs with 180° hinges, and all are EPEAT Gold certified

That leaves the key differences. Swift Go 16 AI is a larger-format device with a 16-inch OLED display (2K, 120Hz), this model aims to balance workspace, battery life, and overall flexibility. It includes an enhanced multi-control touchpad, HDMI 2.1, and a weight of around 1.5 kg – which is still competitive for its class.

Swift X 14 is the most performance-oriented of the three, the Swift X incorporates a 3K OLED panel, up to an RTX 5070 Laptop GPU (Studio validation), and stylus-supported haptic touchpad. It’s still relatively light at under 1.6 kg, and clearly targets creators or power users seeking a lightweight system with discrete graphics support.

Finally, the Swift Edge 14 AI (seen here in white) weighs in at less than 1kg – prioritising mobility while retaining most of the AI and display features seen across the range. It uses Corning Gorilla Matte Pro Glass for added durability and offers a 14-inch 2K OLED panel, making it one of the lightest OLED Copilot+ laptops in its class. If you’re considering ‘working on the go’, then it would be worth you checking this unit out in a local store – just to experience what a 1kg laptop feels like.

Microsoft’s insistence on a 40 TOPS minimum for Copilot+ PCs feels more like a marketing line than a meaningful performance threshold, especially when even ‘entry-level’ discrete GPUs like the RTX 5070 can deliver over 2,000 TOPS without breaking a sweat. The idea is that NPUs offer ultra-low power AI processing for tasks like live transcription or background blur – without waking the fans or hitting battery life too hard.

To make a judgement, we will need to see final ‘street pricing’ and to test them thoroughly but, on paper, Acer certainly seems to have a competitive line-up for 2025. Will be interesting to see just how much of a difference ‘local AI’ makes to ever day users. We will probably have a handle on that by this time next year.

KitGuru Says: We'll be seeing many more laptops over the next week, as Computex 2025 gets underway. Stay tuned for our daily updates and reporting straight from the event.

Devs reportedly worried for PS5 exclusive ‘Fairgames’ after recent playtests

This week, we learned that the founder of one of PlayStation's newest multiplayer-focused game studios, Jade Raymond, had stepped down and left the company. As it turns out, there might be more to the story, with reports painting a worrying picture for Haven's first title, Fairgames.

Originally announced in 2023 as ‘Fairgame$', the multiplayer title is set to offer co-op heists with quick action-packed matches and live service elements. The game was one of at least a dozen ‘live service' titles greenlit under Jim Ryan's tenure as head of PlayStation. After Ryan departed, Sony began cancelling many of these projects, but Fairgames was one of just a handful to survive. Now, Sony might actually be regretting that decision.

According to Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, external playtests for Fairgame$, now rebranded as ‘Fairgames', took place in recent weeks and there is now internal concern as to how well the game will be received. The game was also recently delayed from its planned 2025 launch to ‘Spring 2026', which now puts the title in competition with Grand Theft Auto 6.

Sony PlayStation has not yet made any announcements about Fairgames, nor has it publicly shown any gameplay. So far, the only real look we've had at the game is a CGI reveal trailer, released two years ago.

KitGuru Says: Concord failed to grasp an audience and as a result, the studio behind it was shut down. If Fairgames faces similar launch struggles, Haven Studios may have a short-lived history.

Haven Studios founder steps down ahead of first game launch

After leaving Google following the closure of the Stadia cloud gaming service, Jade Raymond set up a new studio. Quickly after coming up with plans for their first game, Haven Studios was acquired by Sony to join PlayStation Studios. Now, ahead of the release of that first game, Raymond has left the studio.

As reported by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, Jade Raymond has left Haven Studios. Sony did not give much of a reason for the sudden departure, but the company said it remains committed to Haven Studios and their first game, titled ‘Fairgames'.

“Jade Raymond has been an incredible partner and visionary force in founding Haven Studios. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and contributions, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter.”

While an exact reason for the departure is not given, the report does note that this came several weeks after a playtest of Fairgames. It is rumoured that this playtest did not go very well, creating some concern for this game's ability to succeed.

KitGuru Says: Given this news, we'll no doubt be hearing more about Fairgames in the months ahead, as external playtests tend to result in leaks.

Days Gone Remastered update brings 40fps balanced mode alongside VRR support

5 years on from the game’s initial 2019 release, Sony officially launched Days Gone Remastered for PS5 and PC last month. While a solid upgrade overall (especially with its $10 price tag for owners of the previous release) the PS5 version in particular was missing some expected features. As part of the game’s latest patch however, PS5 players can now benefit from a 40FPS balanced mode, VRR support and more.

Making the announcement on BlueSky, the team at Bend Studio wrote: “We have an update beginning to roll out globally addressing player feedback, along with a new Balanced graphics mode, and VRR support.”

The full patch notes can be found HERE, but some of the most notable additions/improvements include the following:

  • Added a new ‘Balanced’ render mode to the Graphics menu
    • PS5 – 1800p at 40fps
    • PS5 Pro – 2160p (using PSSR) at 40fps
  • VRR support now enabled
  • Improved loading times and streaming optimizations
  • Updated input lag to feel more consistent across all render options
  • Unlocked map FPS
  • Overall audio mix improved.
  • Various audio adjustments
  • Gyro Aiming fixes

Days Gone Remastered

Sony’s first-party PlayStation releases have been quite good at supporting 40fps modes as well as VRR and so Days Gone Remastered lacking both at launch was somewhat surprising.

That said, it is welcome at least to see these additions coming within a month of the remaster’s launch.

Kojima announces Death Stranding 2 ‘World Strand Tour’

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is almost upon us, with the next project from Kojima set to arrive in just over a month on the 26th of June. Ahead of this, the studio has announced the Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2 – coming to a dozen locations starting next month.

Making the announcement via a press release, the team officially unveiled its DS2 pre-release marketing plans, writing: “KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS confirmed today that the studio is gearing up to visit 12 locations across the globe to celebrate the launch of DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, arriving exclusively on PlayStation 5 on June 26th, 2025. Fans around the world will be able to join a celebration of all things DEATH STRANDING as part of a World Tour, with special guests and events at each stop.”

Exact details on what these events will entail is currently unknown, but given that some of the shows are taking place long after the game’s launch, it’s safe to assume that this event will likely serve as a fan celebration – more so than a simple marketing tour.

Death Stranding Kojima

With that, the full list of dates and locations are as follows:

  • 8th June – Los Angeles
  • 14th June – Sydney
  • 26th June – Tokyo
  • 28th June – Paris
  • 30th June – London
  • 4th July – Seoul
  • 6th July – Taipei
  • 9th July – Hong Kong
  • 12th July – Shanghai
  • August – Riyadh
  • October – Sao Paulo
  • November – Lucca

Death Stranding was a highly unique and evocative game which – while it did not resonate with everyone – offered a strong and compelling message alongside a surprisingly calming gameplay loop. Hopefully the Death Stranding 2 World Tour proves to be just as unique and memorable as the game itself.

Star Wars: Outlaws Title Update 1.6 brings combat improvements, customisation and more

Last month, Ubisoft officially showcased the next major DLC set to come to Star Wars Outlaws – A Pirate’s Fortune. In alignment with this DLC now being officially available, the publisher has released Outlaws’ next big free ‘title update’ 1.6, bringing with it a ton of welcome changes, additions and quality of life improvements.

Releasing the patch notes onto their blog, Ubisoft officially detailed Star Wars: Outlaws’ Title Update 1.6, writing: “The new update arrives alongside our brand-new story pack, A Pirate's Fortune, bringing new improvements and fixes. It also includes a free new cosmetic pack inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, available to all players!”

The full list of changes and additions can be found HERE, but some of the most notable include:

  • The ability to free-fire Kay's blaster while riding your speeder
  • Seamless switching between two-handed weapons and Kay's blaster
  • Enhanced Trailblazer customization with new passive systems
  • New space contracts with multiple challenge types and rewards

Other ancillary fixes include the following:

  • Improved shooting when behind cover
  • Improved enemy AI when moving to cover/being suppressed
  • Improved Kay's movement animations on stairs and slopes
  • Miyuki Traders have been upgraded to full vendors
  • Performance improvements during climbing
  • Improved attaching and releasing input when using the grappling hook
  • Kay is now thrown off the speeder when hit by a melee attack
  • RTXDI improvements
  • Ray Reconstruction improvements
  • Various accessibility improvements

While Ubisoft titles do have a penchant to release in less-than-complete states, there is no denying that the publisher is willing to make rather sweeping changes and fixes to ensure the game gets closer to meeting fan expectations. It’s just a shame that we’ve had to wait so many months for some of these improvements.

Dead Island 2 is free on the Epic Games Store

While the Epic Games Store gives away a game or two each week to all those with an Epic account, on occasion the platform holder will up the value of games being offered. Such is the case right now, with Dead Island 2 and Happy Game being given away for free as part of the Epic Games Store’s MEGA Sale.

Available to add to your library from now until the 22nd of May at 4PM, this week’s free headlining title is Dead Island 2 – the long awaited sequel to 2011’s first person Zombie experience.

Following years of delays and multiple development studio switches, the sequel finally launched back in 2023 to pretty decent reviews overall, with particular praise being given to the game’s brutal FLESH gore system.

While not included with the free package, Dead Island 2 did receive two sets of post-launch DLC (alongside other free updates), with the SoLA and Haus expansions currently on sale for 30% off.

Happy Game meanwhile is an indie horror puzzler in which you must “endure and escape three unforgettable nightmares” all the while solving “deeply disturbing puzzles in (not so) charming environments.”

Both Dead Island 2 and Happy Game are available to add to your library for the next week, at which point they will be replaced by two as-of-yet-unknown games, alongside ‘Deliver At All Costs.’

KitGuru says: What do you think of this week’s offerings? Did you enjoy Dead Island 2 more or less than the average person? What titles do you hope will be offered next week? Let us know down below.

Antec showcases Vortex View AIO with 5-inch display ahead of Computex

Antec had revealed its latest AIO liquid cooler, the Vortex View. One look at it quickly makes the name clear, as it features a massive, rotatable 5-inch display mounted onto the CPU block.

The Votex View AIO cooler stands out with its 360° rotatable 5-inch IPS display. Whether mounted vertically or horizontally, the display can be adjusted seamlessly to fit the setup. Behind the display is an integrated addressable RGB backglow, designed to subtly illuminate surrounding components and fully controllable through the iUnity software platform.

Speaking of the iUnity software, Antec has rebuilt it from the ground up for expanded functionality and smoother system integration. This includes things like fan and pump curve control, multi-device sync and more.

The Antec Vortex View will be demoed at Computex, so we should learn more about the launch window and intended price then. We'll be attending Computex once again this year, so stay tuned for video updates from Leo.

Atlus announces Persona 5: The Phantom X for PC and mobile

Fans are eager to get more information about Persona 6, or official information on the rumoured Persona 4 remake. However, Atlus has other plans for the time being. A new Persona 5 spin-off is on the way – Persona 5: The Phantom X.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is set to release for mobile devices and PC, skipping consoles. The game is set in the same universe as Persona 5 but features a new cast of characters.

As far as gameplay goes, it is pretty faithful to the traditional Persona experience with a mix of social scenes and exploring dungeons. Battles are turn-based, just as they are in the mainline Persona games.

Later this year, Atlus is rumoured to be announcing a remake of Persona 4, following a similar formula to Persona 3: Reload. Persona 6 is also said to be in the works, but it isn't expected to release this year.

Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.

KitGuru Says: As this is a mobile game, a lot of the enjoyment will hinge on the game's reliance on microtransactions.

Intel may announce Arc B770 graphics card soon

Just ahead of what's expected to be a busy Computex for mid-range GPU announcements from competitors, Intel's official Arc social media accounts have been dropping hints about a more powerful graphics card. In response to fans asking for a beefier GPU following an Arc Pro announcement, Intel's X account replied with phrases like “stay tuned,” “we're just getting started,” and “more to come” over the last week. This is widely interpreted as hinting at the long-rumored Arc ‘Battlemage' B770.

The timing for these teasers (via VideoCardz) appears deliberate, as Nvidia prepares to debut the RTX 5060 and AMD is set to introduce the RX 9060 XT next week. This suggests that Intel may be planning its own mid-range rival.

Based on previous reports, the Arc B770 is rumoured to feature between 24 and 32 Xe2 CUs, paired with a 256-bit memory bus and up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory. These specs would position the B770 as a direct competitor to Nvidia's RTX 5060 and AMD's RX 9060 XT in the mid-range gaming segment.

While it's not confirmed whether Intel plans to announce the Arc B770 at Computex next week or hold a separate solo livestream event later, the social media interactions have sparked interest among enthusiasts.
