Save $60 Off the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT for Black Friday

AMD has some of the best graphics cards out there, offering a solid alternative to Nvidia's RTX lineup that even surpasses it with certain models. One of our favorite graphics cards last year was the AMD Radeon 7800 XT, which provided excellent performance across both 1080p and 1440p. For Black Friday, you can save $60 off the XFX Qicksilver AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT at Best Buy. This is one of the lowest prices we've seen this model at, so don't miss out on this limited time deal.

XFX Qicksilver AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT for $469.99

One of the major features of this XFX Qicksilver model is the Magnetic Air technology. With this, you can remove and replace the three fans instantly – no tools or removal of your GPU required. This can be a godsend if you run into issues with a fan, which usually means you have to take apart your graphics card by yourself, often voiding a warranty in doing so.

You also have access to three display port outputs on the back, which is perfect for using up to three monitors. You can even use one port for a PC VR headset – which is also on sale for Black Friday. The included 16GB of GDDR6 memory is essential for high-performance 1440p gameplay, with some 4K support even possible. This RX 7800 XT is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p.

Should You Buy Now or Wait for Cyber Monday?

With Black Friday officially here, you might be wondering if this deal may get better on Cyber Monday. The online holiday sees major discounts online across retailers each year, but as of late, these deals mostly carry over from the week of Black Friday deals. While you can't go wrong with today's price, there is always a chance this graphics card could be further discounted come Monday.

Save $26 Off Apple AirTags for Black Friday Right Now and Never Lose Your Keys Again

Black Friday is here, and Amazon and Best Buy are offering a four-pack of Apple AirTags keyfinders for only $72.99. That's 26% off the retail price and only $18.25 for each AirTag. This Apple Black Friday deal would make an excellent stocking stuffer gift idea for anyone who owns an iPhone and tends to lose small wearables like wallets, keys, or remotes. Although we saw these at a slightly lower price before Black Friday for an early deal special at $69.99, I wouldn’t expect them to drop lower since Black Friday is here and the price still remains at $72.99.

4-Pack Apple AirTags for $72.99

The Apple Airtag is a small coin-shaped device that you can put in your wallet or attach to your phones, keys, remote, or anything small enough to be easily misplaced. It works as a little Wi-Fi keyfinder that helps locate your lost objects by pinging its general location to your iPhone using Bluetooth 5.0. However, if your iPhone model has a U1 chip with Ultra Wideband, then you can take advantage of the "Precision Finding" mode. This gives you numerical distance and direction guidance when your lost item is close by. It points you right to it. The CR2032 lithium 3V coin battery is also easily user-replaceable.

If you're looking for more Black Friday deals on Apple products, the iPads are on sale and the AirPods Pro earbuds have been seen for as low as $169.99. The price keeps fluctuating, but if you see this sale come around again, jump on it because this will be the best discount we'll see for Black Friday.

The 32" Alienware 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor Black Friday Deal Just Got Better

Alienware just sweetened the deal on its best gaming monitor for Black Friday Sale. Right now, the 32" Alienware AW3225QF 32" 4K QD OLED gaming monitor is down to $899.99. That's the lowest price I've seen all year long. However for Black Friday only, Alienware just tossed in a bonus $100 Dell promotional e-gift card with your purchase.

There are some T&Cs to take note of: You'll receive the gift card within a few weeks after the monitor ships, and you'll have 90 days to use it. It's good on pretty much anything at Dell (excluding gift cards). If you're looking for the best 4K gaming monitor, this should definitely be on your short list. This is the monitor I personally use and I absolutely recommend it.

32" Alienware AW3225QF 4K OLED Monitor

Bonus $100 Dell promotional gift card with purchase

The Alienware AW3225QF was released earlier this year and is actually Dell's one and only monitor that combines a 4K resolution with an OLED panel. It incorporates Samsung's QD OLED technology; QD OLED panels are brighter than traditional OLED panels while maintaining near infinite response time, contrast ratio, and black levels. The Alienware AW3225QF is HDR True Black 400 certified with up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also boasts a 99.3% DCI-P3 color range and is factory calibrated. Other specs include a 1700R curve, 240Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync certification. Connectivity-wise, the AW3225QF has two HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC) and one DisplayPort 1.4 port, all of which are capable of 4K at up to 240Hz. There are also a couple of USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for attaching peripherals and a single USB Type-C port for charging. Dell backs this monitor up with a three-year warranty that includes burn-in protection.

Something to keep in mind is that 4K monitors require a pretty powerful GPU. 4K resolution has 2.25 times more pixels than QHD; if you want to play games in 4K, especially at frame rates of up to 240fps, you'll want a gaming PC equipped with an GeForce RTX 4070 at the minimum. If your PC is equipped with something as powerful as an RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4090, or RX 7900XTX, then this monitor would be the perfect complement.

Looking For More Black Friday Gaming Monitor Deals?

Take advantage of some fantastic Black Friday pricing on the best gaming monitors, from high-end monitors with OLED panels, 240Hz refresh rate, and 4K resolution to perfectly capable 1080p 144Hz gaming monitors that fall well within the tightest of budgets. Whether you're intending to use the monitor for your gaming PC or PlayStation 5 console, there's definitely a perfect monitor for everyone.

Get $10 Off $50 Roblox Gift Cards in Unbeatable Black Friday Lightning Deal

Are you obsessed with Dress to Impress? Or the more action-packed Tower Defense Simulator? Maybe even catching fish in Fisch?

Whichever “Roblox experience” has you or someone you know hooked, I’m sure it has microtransactions (things to spend real money on) in one form or another. Roblox gift cards can be converted into the Robux needed to make those purchases, and those gift cards happen to be included in Amazon's Black Friday sales.

While there are slight discounts on digital gift cards, the best savings you can possibly get is by going physical: Right now, you can get a full $10 off $50 Roblox gift cards.

The Best Roblox Black Friday Deal: $50 Gift Card for $40

If you’re doing some holiday shopping over Black Friday, a physical Roblox gift card is an unbeatable stocking stuffer. Though, I have to admit, getting $50 worth of Robux at a $10 discount is something you could even gift to yourself. A $50 gift card is equivalent to about 4,500 Robux. By saving $10, you're basically getting 900 Robux for free. Act fast, however, because I'm sure this Lightning Deal will sell out quick.

Depending on what month you redeem your Roblox gift card, you’ll also get a different free virtual item. In November, that gift is the Midnight Crimson Sombrero, but if you wait until December, you’ll get the Festive Deadpan Alpaca Head.

Does Roblox Have Its Own Black Friday Sale?

Roblox as a platform doesn’t have an "official" Black Friday sale, but you might find deals, discounts, and special events within specific experiences. Feel free to scroll through the Roblox store on Amazon for more discounts, or check out our roundups of the best Black Friday gaming deals from Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation.

How to Redeem Roblox Gift Cards

Once you've received a Roblox Gift Card, you’ll want to head over to Roblox.com/redeem. From there, you will need to do the following:

  1. Log into an existing Roblox account (or register for the first time)
  2. Find the PIN/Code on the Gift Card and enter it into the white box on the website
  3. Click the Redeem button
  4. If successful, a success message will appear on screen and Credit will be added to the associated account

Congratulations! You’ve now got a new amount of Robux credit added to that account that can be spent in-game on whatever you want! You can check out our guide on how to redeem Roblox gift cards for more details.

Get a Free $500 Gift Card with Select iPhones for Black Friday

The best deals on a new iPhone are almost always at Walmart during Black Friday. So it’s no surprise that this year’s Walmart Black Friday sale features the best deal on a new iPhone we’ve seen all year: Buy a select iPhone at Walmart, and you’ll get up to $500 in Walmart gift cards (see the deal here). At a store that sells just about everything, that’s nearly as good as cash. And it’s by far the best iPhone deal we’ve found this Black Friday.

Up to $500 Gift Card with Select iPhone at Walmart

If you have an eligible trade-in, you can get up to $1,500

The deal is valid on pretty much all models of iPhone 16 and 15, including iPhone and iPhone Plus (the larger model), as well as iPhone Pro and Pro Max. Alternatively, if you want to hop to the Android side, you can get the same gift card deal on Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Ultra. All you have to do is select the one you want on the carrier of your choice: Verizon, AT&T, or Straight Talk.

Personally, I would recommend going with an iPhone 16 since it’s the newest model, and the standard iPhone 16 is very close to the 16 Pro in terms of features. Both can run Apple Intelligence, the new AI features that have begun rolling out and will continue throughout this year and next. In its current state, Apple Intelligence can do things like write and edit emails, create images, identify plants and animals in your photos, and more. Siri is also getting major improvevments and can connect to ChatGPT for help when Siri doesn’t have an answer.

As noted above, if you have an eligible trade-in to offer, you can crank the free gift card amount all the way up to $1,500, which can buy you a lot at Walmart. This deal runs through December 8, which is a week past Cyber Monday. That means you have a good deal of time to consider your options and make the right choice for you.

And if you’re in the market for other Apple items, check out our full roundup of Apple Black Friday deals, which includes all-time low discounts on things like AirPods Pro, iPad, and MacBook Air.

Should You Buy Now or Wait for Cyber Monday?

With Black Friday officially here, you might be wondering if this deal may get better on Cyber Monday. Set for Monday, December 2, Cyber Monday often has exclusive online deals at retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart that you won't be able to find in stores. Generally, these deals lean toward technology items, including power banks.

Based on the price history of this Belkin BoostCharge Portable Charger, we do not expect to see it drop any further for Cyber Monday. This is the lowest this item has been since it was first released on Amazon in July 2023, according to CamelCamelCamel.

The Rarely Discounted Aura Carver Smart Digital Picture Frame Is on Sale This Black Friday

Black Friday deals are in full swing, and if you’re looking for the perfect gift for your notoriously hard-to-buy-for loved ones this holiday season, a highly rated digital frame may be your saving grace. The Aura Carver Smart Digital Picture Frame 10.1" is on sale for $139 at Amazon, making it 22% less than its normal retail price of $179. According to the price tracker camelcamelcamel, that’s one of its lowest prices ever, so now’s the time to buy.

If this frame happens to sell out on Amazon, it’s also available at Best Buy for the same price.

With 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon based on over 12,000 ratings, the Aura Carver Smart Digital Picture Frame is well-regarded, and given all that it’s capable of, it’s easy to see why. The large 10.1" HD display is color-calibrated and bright, ensuring each snap looks sharp and true to life, while the lovely white mat adds a classier feel. It can even crop the images and adjust brightness automatically to make life easier.

You don't need to worry about storage with this frame, as it connects to your home Wi-Fi and comes with free unlimited storage. Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?

Many Amazon Black Friday deals will be happening all weekend and extending into Cyber Monday. However, if there's something you see that you really want, it’s best to buy now just to be safe, as we’ve already seen a bunch of items selling out and chances are good many won’t see much of a deeper discount. Best Buy Black Friday sales and Walmart deals also happening, so you can find the perfect gift for everyone on your list.

Bowlero Is Offering 24% Off Bowling at Your Local Bowlero, Lucky Strike, or AMF Bowling Center

Looking for something fun to do with your family and friends this weekend? Bowling hotspot Bowlero is offering sweet deals for those who love bowling nights. Right now, you can use the coupon code "BLACKFRIDAY" for 24% off all lane reservations at your local Bowlero center from November 29 through December 1. With bowling being an expensive activity these days, discounts like this really count.

24% Off Bowlero Lane Reservations Right Now

If you haven't heard of Bowlero before, it has the most bowling centers in the US, with over 350 locations. Bowlero also includes Lucky Strike and AMF bowling centers, so it shouldn't be difficult for most people to find a nearby location. This entertainment giant packs in bowling, arcades, and dining in a retro-inspired atmosphere. Some higher-end venues offer even more amenities like billiards and laser tag, too. In addition to renting out lanes for a few games, people really dig the American fare like cheeseburgers and hot dogs, making it fun for kids and adults like.

If you are really into bowling, you can keep it up on the regular with a Fall Season Pass, which provides you with two free games of bowling each day and a free shoe rental. If you live in a more expensive area like me; here in the Bay Area, a single game of bowling with shoe rental costs a lot more, and this is a better bang for your buck for frequent bowlers.

The Best Apple Black Friday Deals You Can Get Right Now

The Black Friday 2024 sales are officially here, with major deals across Apple's product categories. Whether you’re in the market for a new pair of AirPods, an Apple Watch, an iPad, or even AirTags (for $72.99) to keep track of things you might lose, you can save cash at retailers across the map.

Whether you're already a fan of Apple or you're newly curious about a specific Apple product that may help you or a loved one out in day-to-day life, let’s look at the wide array of trusted Apple products on sale for Black Friday.

AirPod Deals

AirPod Pro (2nd Gen with USB-C) is on sale at Amazon for $153.99 right now. That’s the lowest price they've ever been, and I don't think they'll drop lower. Grab them if you're in the market. As for standard AirPods, both Amazon and Target are offering a $10 off the new 4th gen AirPods with active noise cancellation, as well as the identical model without ANC. I personally prefer the Pro model because the silicon ear tips work well for me, but some people don't like them.

iPad Deals

The iPad deals are also live. A baseline 9th-gen iPad is on sale for $199, the same price it was during last year’s Black Friday sale. Personally, I wouldn't pick this one up, because that model is three years old. I'd go with the 10th-gen iPad, which is on sale at Amazon for just $50 more and has a faster processor that will last longer. The iPad mini deals are great if you like that form factor, or you can get significantly more power with an Air or Pro.

Apple Watch Deals

The Apple Watch is the best smartwatch for iOS users. It's sleek, stylish and full of useful features that complement your iPhone. If you don't have an Apple Watch or you are here shopping for a fellow Apple lover, we've got good news for you: All three Apple Watch models – the Apple Watch SE, the Apple Watch Series 10, and the Apple Watch Ultra – are all on sale at Amazon, Target, and Walmart.

Apple Watch Series 10 is this year’s smartwatch model, and it’s currently on sale for $329, which is $70 off the retail price. Last year, the Series 9 (the new model at the time) dropped to $329 for Black Friday, so this is probably the best price we're going to see this year. If you're looking for a cheaper option, the Apple Watch SE is down to only $149; this is the best price we've seen for a new Apple Watch. See all the Black Friday Apple Watch deals going on this week.

MacBook Deals

This year's baseline MacBook Air with an M3 chip is on sale at Amazon for $849, a steep $250 discount off MSRP. This is a fantastic laptop for just about anybody, and will last many years with solid performance. And if you have any other Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods), it syncs up your data automatically, which is always nice. Alternatively, you can pick up 2022's M2 chip-powered model for $100 less. I'd personally stick with the M3 if you can swing it, since it'll give you more bang for your buck. However, if you need even more power for editing, creative work or gaming, the brand-new 2024 MacBook Pro with M4 chip is also on sale for $1,399.

Apple iMac with M4 Chip (2024)

Just like the Mini, the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer, got the M4 upgrade this year. This computer starts at 16GB of RAM and comes in seven stunning color options, from a staid silver to bold green, blue, and red, to name a few. The 4.5K display is the standout feature here, measuring 24". The iMac also comes with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse, both of which now have USB-C ports for charging. This machine looks great on any desk you put it on, and it packs a whole lot of computing power.

AirTag Deals

AirTags are the unsung heroes of the Apple lineup. They’re not flashy like some of the other products, but they get the job done and give you peace of mind. AirTags tell you the location of whatever you’ve attached them to; be that your keys, wallet, or even your child. A four-pack is currently on sale for $72.99, which is real close to their all-time low price of $69.99. I wouldn’t expect them to drop much lower this Black Friday.

Apple Gift Card Deal

While you are shopping for holiday gifts and you're not sure what your loved one still needs, (does your mom want a new iPad or is she attached to the older model she has?) —you can always get them the gift of free money with an Apple gift card. In fact, there's even a deal on Apple gift cards right now at Target:

Stay Tuned: New M4 Mac Mini Deals are Coming

Our Best Budget Mac for Gaming pick was $100 off for a few days, but the deal has changed as of November 26th. Check back closer to Black Friday for another expected price drop!

Apple's brand-new 2024 M4-powered Mac Mini had a $100 discount at Amazon with a clipped coupon offer, but this deal has expired. We anticipate it will drop again closer to Black Friday proper. This is a powerful computer, despite its diminutive footprint. That M4 chip packs a wallop, easily handling nearly any computing task you can throw at it. Powered by Apple’s M2 Pro chip with a 10-Core CPU, a 16-Core GPU, and a 16-Core Neural Engine, this tiny computer breezes through heavy tasks like video editing and much more.

Apple Store Black Friday Sale Dates

Apple rarely offers discounts on its products, so instead of dropping prices in the Apple Store for Black Friday, it tosses in a free gift card with purchase. This year's Black Friday sale at the Apple Store runs November 29 - December 1 and gets you up to $200 in Apple gift cards with select purchases. What kinds of purchases? Pretty much any major product Apple sells: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, etc. Personally, I'd rather have an up-front discount at the retailers listed above, but if you plan on shopping at the Apple Store in the near future, a gift card could be a fine option too.

When Is Black Friday 2024?

While sales start whenever a given retailer sees fit, actual Black Friday 2024 falls on November 29 this year. That said, many final Black Friday deals are already underway, as mentioned above. Use your best judgement about when is the right time to buy any item you're in the market for. Also see IGN's 2024 tech gift guide which includes everything from practical products to cool gadgets while you shop.

Star Wars Outlaws Has Dropped to Just $40 for Black Friday

If you chose patience with Star Wars Outlaws, then here is your reward. The new Star Wars game has been discounted in Black Friday sales, now down to $39.99 on PS5 and Xbox. That's 43% below the original list price, an extra $10 cheaper than it was just a week ago when it first reached a new all-time low price, and a much better offering for anyone who was unsure of the game when it launched back in late August.

The deal also features Amazon's exclusive limited edition content pack, which includes Rogue Infiltrator cosmetics for Kay and Nix. It's the best deal we're getting on the game before Christmas, so snap it up if you've been waiting for a sale, or want to gift it to someone over the holidays.

This would be a good time to jump on the game – it's not been long since Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment deployed a massive update bringing a host of performance and gameplay enhancements, a range of visual improvements, and bug fixes to the open-world sci-fi game on console and PC.

The publisher laid out everything new in the patch notes on its website, with Ubisoft emphasizing that these updates were shaped by player feedback, reaffirming its commitment to closely listening as post-launch support for Star Wars Outlaws continues.

More Black Friday Game Deals

Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?

The official Black Friday sales events for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo have been underway for about a week, and most decent deals have been available. However, retailers are still droping prices on some games before they go out of stock – Star Wars Outlaws being one prime example. At this point, I wouldn't wait for a better price to come around on Cyber Monday. This is the game's all-time low price; I'd jump on this now before it sells out.

Enjoy $20 Off Metaphor: ReFantazio in Black Friday Sales

Black Friday is offering up plenty of video game deals right now, including on fantastic newer releases. The Game of the Year-nominated Metaphor: ReFantazio is currently on sale at its lowest price yet, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel, of $49.99. This is $20 off its list price of $69.99. If you've been waiting for a good time to pick this one up, now's an excellent time to do it since it's still on sale at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.

Both Amazon and Best Buy have the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions on sale for $49.99, but Walmart only has the PlayStation 5 version on sale for that price.

As previously mentioned, Metaphor: ReFantazio has been nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards this year. It also earned nominations for Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, Best Score and Music, and Best RPG. We gave it a 9/10 in our review as well, with IGN's Michael Higham saying, "There’s a certain familiarity in Metaphor: ReFantazio, but Atlus takes the principles of its already excellent RPGs and refines them in a way that effortlessly ushers you through its brutal, and sometimes beautiful, new fantasy world."

There are plenty more video game deals to explore right now, too. Some of the highlights from the sale event include Star Wars Outlaws down to $40, Silent Hill 2 down to $30, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown down to just $15 for PS5 at Amazon, but you can even score great discounts at the moment on consoles and hardware.

Outside of games there are even more deals to check out. To see a collection of our favorites, have a look at our full breakdown of Black Friday 2024 where we go over the best deals at the moment on TVs, Apple devices, board games, LEGO, and so much more.

This 65" TCL S4 TV Is One of the Best Budget Picks for Black Friday

Let’s say you’re in need of a new 65” TV but you don’t want to spend more than $1,000 on one. Good news, friends: As part of Walmart’s Black Friday 2024 sale, a 65” TCL S4 TV is on sale for just $228. That’s $150 off, which amounts to a savings of 40%.

This is the newer model of our most popular TV in last year’s holiday sale, and this deal matches that one exactly. Grab it if you want a big TV but don’t want to spend a ton of cash.

65” TCL S4 HDR 4K UHD LED Smart Roku TV for $228

Based on the price, you can’t expect this TCL S4 TV to have all the bells and whistles of the very best 4K smart TVs (many of which are also on sale right now). But it has more higher-end features than you might think.

It has a 4K ultra-high-def display, complete with the color accuracy and brightness of HDR. It offers up to 120Hz and has an automatic game mode for when you want to play PS5, Xbox, or Switch. It’s also a Roku smart TV, so it has built-in access to all the streaming apps like Disney+, Max, Netflix, and the rest. It’s a totally serviceable TV that offers a great value for the price.

More Black Friday Deals on 4K TVs

If you’re leaning against picking up the TCL S4, you have plenty of other options, ranging from high-end TVs like the LG G4 (our pick for the best TV for gaming) or other mid-range options. It’s up to you, but you’re not likely to find better prices any other time of year.

Meta Quest 3 and 3S are both on sale for Black Friday, including refurbished models for some extra savings. Quest 3 clarity and ease of use is amazing, and there's plenty of accessories on offer from brands such as Kiwi design also.

TVs and Monitors

You 100% need a TV upgrade to go with that new PlayStation 5. It's the year of budget TV brand this Black Friday, with brands such as TCL delivering top tier specs at budget prices. A 55-Inch QLED TV with full HDR support and Android TV? That's insane!

Garry's Mod Has Sold an Incredible 25.4 Million Copies, Is the Best-Selling PC Exclusive of All-Time

Garry’s Mod has sold over 25 million copies since going on sale 18 years ago, Facepunch Studios has announced.

The physics sandbox is now over 25.4 million sold, to be exact, since going on sale on PC via Steam back in 2006.

Designer Garry Newman tweeted to reflect on the astonishing sales success of Garry’s Mod, saying: “When Valve first floated the idea of selling Garry's Mod on Steam I said no because.. ‘who would pay for that?.’

“Well 18 years later, it turns out that 25,560,290 people would. Glad to have been wrong on this one.”

18 Years. Thank you! 🎉

Enjoy 40% off Garry's Mod in the Steam Autumn Sale too: https://t.co/ARYX23i8J3 pic.twitter.com/dixlHoYZFS

— Garry's Mod (@gmodofficial) November 29, 2024

In September, Garry’s Mod was named the best-selling PC exclusive of all-time by the Guinness Book of Records, beating out the likes of World of Warcraft and its expansions. At the time, Newman joked that he “never imagined becoming a world record holder and not be prawn cocktail crisps related.”

Garry's Mod lets you play with models from Valve games developed on the Source engine, and its enduring popularity has seen it remain in steam’s top 100 most-played games list for years.

In July, Newman said the “Skibidi Toilet guys” had hit him with a DMCA in a wild bit of litigious irony. But soon after, an account purporting to be Skibidi Toilet creator Alexey Gerasimov (DaFuq!?Boom) said he wasn’t behind the claim, and Newman then told IGN that the matter had been “resolved.”

Newman had shared the news about the Skibidi Toilet DMCA, including pasting a screenshot of the letter he was sent. The copyright holder the letter was attributed to was Invisible Narratives, the film and TV production studio that’s partnering with Michael Bay on a Skibidi Toilet film.

The letter Newman posted specifically cited Skibidi Toilet characters Titan Cameraman, Titan Speakerman, and Titan TV Man, saying they were "all registered copyrights that are unique and representative of our brand." Sure enough, a public catalog search reveals that Invisible Narratives had indeed claimed a copyright for Titan Cameraman and three other unpublished works.

The letter added that “significant revenue is being generated by unauthorized Skibidi Toilet Garry's Mod games that are being advertised everywhere." The irony was not lost on Newman, who declared: “can you believe the cheek?” Skidibi Toilet, of course, is largely made with assets from Half-Life 2, and was originally created in Garry’s Mod.

Earlier this year, Facepunch removed all Nintendo-related content on Garry's Mod - what amounted to 20 years of uploads - from Steam Workshop after receiving a takedown request from Nintendo. Newman is currently working on a successor to Garry's Mod called S&box.

Hundreds of LEGO Black Friday Deals Are Here: Here Are My Top Picks

If you or someone on your shopping list this holiday season is a fan of building LEGO sets, you’re in luck. The official Black Friday sales are live, which means you can save a bundle on all sorts of LEGO sets at a variety of retailers. We’re sifting through the biggest LEGO Black Friday deals every day to keep this article up to date so you can grab the sets you want at enormously discounted prices. Let's face it, LEGO sets can be expensive, so now is the time to get them when they're on sale. Let’s dive in.

LEGO Star Wars UCS Razor Crest for $416

This is an awesome set for fans of LEGO's Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series. It's a massive build comprised of over 6,000 pieces, and it comes with a number of minifigures, including the Mandalorian and Grogu. If you want it, I'd definitely pick it up sooner than later, before stock runs out.

LEGO Technic Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 for $490

Another super popular discount on a set that almost never goes on sale is this $490 deal on the LEGO Technic Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000. It's a truly massive nearly 3,000 piece set. Even the deal price makes it clear it's not for everyone. But if you're a LEGO collector, now is a good time to pick this one up.

LEGO Deals at Amazon

As is often the case, Amazon is price-matching most of Best Buy's LEGO sale, but it also has a few additional sets on sale. If you prefer to make your purchases at Amazon over Best Buy, you can probably find the same deals at both retailers. That said, Amazon is more likely to sell out of products it price-matches, so you may want to remain open to making purchases at Best Buy in that case.

LEGO Deals at Target

Frankly, Target has been going nuts with LEGO deals lately. A major sale on the building block toys has just ended, but a bunch of Marvel and Disney-themed sets are still on sale, including some majorly popular Target-exclusives, like the Disney Villain Icons 100th Anniversary set. Scroll through our picks above (or the full list of deals) and pick up whatever sets you want.

LEGO Deals at LEGO Store

The LEGO Store has a sale that's available to one and all right now. You can shop the whole sale here, or slide through my favorites in the delightful carousel above. Sets on sale include the LEGO Atari 2600 for elder gamers (myself included) plus a couple of new Christmas decoration sets you can put to good use right now, and more.

LEGO Deals at LEGO Store (for Insiders)

LEGO is running an entirely separate sale for LEGO Insiders (sign up here for free). It includes some of the more sought-after sets, like the LEGO NES and Tree House. The deals run through December 2, so scoop up whatever you like. And sign up for the Insider program if you haven't already, because there's no reason not to.

LEGO Deals at Best Buy

Best Buy has some juicy discounts on LEGO sets in its early Black Friday sale. Fans of LEGO Star Wars sets can save on a nostalgic diorama of the Anakin's pod race. There's a great LEGO Batman set that includes an awesome Batmobile build. Two LEGO Art sets are on sale, both of which you can build and hang on your wall, which is pretty rad if you ask me.

LEGO Deals at Walmart

Some of the best LEGO early Black Friday deals available right now are at Walmart. The Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone set is on sale for $45, and the Marvel Endgame Final Battle Building set is on sale for $70. You can see the full sale here.

If they come back in stock, I also expect the 2024 LEGO advent calendars to go on sale for as low as $20 during the week of Black Friday, so check back here on Monday, 11/25 for an update. Advent calendars should include the Spider-Man advent calendar, as well as the Disney set (already on sale) and LEGO Friends sets. These are all unusually good deals for LEGO, so plan to grab the deals on LEGO gifts you want while they last.

Should You Wait Until Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday 2024 falls on December 2, but by and large, the deals above are the deals that will be available. Some sets that go out of stock now may come back in stock on Monday, but I certainly wouldn't count on it. So, if you see a deal on a set you've been interested in, it's best to grab it now before it's too late.

What to Watch this Weekend: It's Time for the Annual Thanksgiving Binge

Welcome to Streaming Rewind, a weekly breakdown of the new and noteworthy as we work to help readers wade through the absolute deluge of television series and movies in the streaming space.

It’s almost time for turkey! It’s also almost time for the universally accepted media catchup week, which is good, because there isn’t a whole lot new dropping on streaming or digital Thanksgiving weekend. You can finally watch Terrifier 3 at home, though, if you’re looking for a way to deeply scandalize your relatives.

Because there isn’t a ton dropping this week, here’s a quick list of shows and movies that you can stream that I loved this year and you may enjoy watching this weekend.

Hazbin Hotel (Prime Video)

I had never watched Vivienne Medrano’s hit YouTube pilot for Hazbin Hotel; I just knew that fans were ravenous for more. When Prime Video picked up the series (and then renewed for Season 2 and then Seasons 3 and 4 shortly after after the meteoric performance of Season 1), I figured it was time to give the salacious adult animated series a watch. Lucky I did, because it ended up being one of my favorite shows of 2024. Not for nothing, but I’m pretty sure my Spotify Wrapped will be made up exclusively of the soundtrack as well.

The series follows Charlie Morningstar (Erika Henningsen, of Mean Girls — the stage musical — fame), daughter of Lucifer Morningstar, as she works to rehabilitate sinners and convince heaven to give them a second chance. There’s just one problem: Lucifer (Jeremy Jordan) has given up and the angels are all dicks. If you liked Supernatural’s nuanced approach to heaven and hell and angels and demons, you’ll appreciate a lot going on here.

Twisters (Peacock)

I’ve already talked about Twisters once on this weekly what to watch list, mostly because it very recently hit Peacock. But, given that the legacy sequel ended up as one of my favorite movies of 2024, you’re getting the recommendation again. For years, folks have said that 1996’s Twister had no stakes, featuring a ton of disasters but no real consequences for its primary cast. Well, Twisters heard you. You’ll know why after you watch the first 15 minutes of the film.

Outside of that, the chemistry between Daisy Edgar-Jones’ Kate and Glen Powell’s Tyler carries the ensemble cast through a rip-roaring and occasionally absurd disaster film. For the record, I am a firm believer that “rip-roaring and occasionally absurd” should be the descriptor for all disaster films, so let that be your guide when it comes to this recommendation.

The Acolyte (Disney+)

Every time Star Wars does something interesting, something bad happens (read: the executives panic and give a bunch of loud trolls exactly what they want), but that’s OK, because we still have The Last Jedi and The Acolyte. Creator Leslye Headland delivered a complex look at the Jedi and the issues with their authoritarianism during the High Republic era, which was buoyed by lead performances from Amandla Stenberg as twins Osha and Mae and Mannie Jacinto as Qimir. While it’s a pity we won’t get the end of their story, the series’ ending already tells us that Osha and Qimir are doomed, so we’ll just have to be happy to watch The Acolyte’s cult following grow over the years.

The First Omen (Hulu)

No one was a bigger The First Omen hater than me when the film was first announced. A prequel to The Omen was dangerously close to the top of completely unnecessary film projects, but that didn’t stop writer/director Arkasha Stevenson from making a movie that I consider to be damn near essential viewing. Nell Tiger Free acts her ass off as the film’s lead, Margaret, and gives life to a wildly feminist script that, no, is not free of a few prequel pitfalls. Once you’ve watched you may join me in ignoring the film’s cringe-worthy final 15 seconds. (Yoda doesn’t show up, but it’s almost as bad.)

Shogun (Hulu)

If you didn’t watch Shogun back when it first aired, now is absolutely the time to catch up on the series — especially now that it’s shifted from a limited series and will get a Season 2. The first season of the series adapts the novel of the same name in its completion, so we’re still not sure what Season 2 could possibly be about. However, it’s hard not to get excited when Season 1 was the best series of 2024. (We’ll see if the rest of the IGN staff agrees come IGN Awards time!)

Shogun follows the stories of the roguish pirate John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis), the powerful and shrewd Lord Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada) and the whip-smart and deftly loyal Lady Mariko (Anna Sawai) as their worlds collide during a complicated power struggle in feudal Japan.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles (Paramount+)

It’s not new but it’s Thanksgiving and we honor the classics in this house (and John Hughes, John Candy, and Steve Martin, obviously). Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a Thanksgiving tradition in plenty of households, but if you haven’t watched Martin’s Neal Page and Candy’s Del Griffith schlep across several states while one desperately tries to make it home for the holiday, you don’t know what you’re missing!

New and Notable to Streaming and Digital

  • Terrifier 3 — November 26 (On Digital)
  • The Madness — November 28 (Netflix)
  • Nutcrackers — November 29 (Hulu)
  • Beatles '64 (new documentary from producer Martin Scorsese) — November 29 (Disney+)

Score Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (PS5) for Just $15 This Black Friday

There are plenty of gaming deals to check out for Black Friday. For PlayStation 5 owners, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has dropped to just $15 today at Amazon. This is a whole 70% off its list price of $49.99, marking a drop to its lowest price ever according to price tracker camelcamelcamel.

If this deal sells out, a good backup option is over at Best Buy where you can score the game for $19.99. This is a few dollars more than the one at Amazon, but still a great option to keep in mind if the $15 deal disappears.

We had high praise for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown upon release. Writer Phil Hornshaw said in our review of the game that "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown captures not only what made games such as The Sands of Time so good, but it irons out a lot of the little issues that plagued the 3D games in this series by opting for a 2D perspective – and owning it. It also works extremely well as a traditional Metroidvania, sticking with tried-and-true elements of the genre but executing on them with precision."

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has also earned a couple of nominations from The Game Awards this year for Best Action/Adventure Game and Innovation in Accessibility. We also consider it one of the best video games of 2024.

Amazon Drops Over 30% Off the Legion Go Gaming Handheld PC for Black Friday

For Black Friday, Amazon has the lowest price on one of the best gaming handhelds on the market, especially if you prefer a Windows-based operating system. Right now you can pick up a Lenovo Legion Go 512GB gaming handheld for only $472.97 shipped after a 32% off instant discount. The Legion Go shares similar specs with the Asus ROG Ally Z1 Extreme, but the Legion Go benefits from a bigger and sharper display, detachable controllers, and a larger battery.

Lenovo Legion Go 512GB Gaming Handheld

The Lenovo Legion Go is a Windows-based gaming handheld that's powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU with Radeon graphics and 16GB RAM, which is the same configuration as the one found in the $700 Asus ROG Ally Z1 Extreme. The Legion Go also boasts a a bigger and sharper 8.8" 2560x1600 144Hz IPS touchscreen display and detachable controllers like the Nintendo Switch. Since the Legion Go operates off Windows 11, it works with most PC game clients, including Steam, Origin, Ubisoft, Epic Games, Genshin Impact, Battle.net, and more.

In Jacqueline Thomas' Lenovo Legion Go review, she wrote that "it is easily the best handheld gaming PC on the market right now as measured by screen size, horsepower, and USB-C port placement, but there are some caveats. It's absolutely massive, and the 1600p display is more than even this powerhouse chip can handle. That means you're going to have to spend some time tinkering with – and specifically lowering – quality settings to get your games running properly. Even then the battery life isn’t great, and naturally you’re paying a premium over the Steam Deck OLED for the bigger display, a full Windows 11 license, and extra oomph. But if you love the idea of the Switch, where you can remove the controllers, prop the screen up on a beefy kickstand, and sit back and enjoy? This is the one for you."

After the article was written, the Asus ROG Ally X was released and has taken over the throne as the new "best gaming handheld". However, the Ally X is far more expensive: even with today's Black Friday deal, it still costs $699.99. The Legion Go is definitely a much better value for the price.

If you end up getting this deal, we'd recommend picking up a portable power bank for extended travels and a Micro SD card. We've compared the Steam Deck to the ROG Ally and although the Legion Go isn't mentioned, the article gives you a good idea of the major differences between a Steam-based and Windows-based gaming handheld.

17 Best Black Friday Gaming Deals – And Why You Should Add to Cart

This year has been packed with outstanding, highly-rated games, so it's no surprise if you haven’t had the chance to play them all. If titles like Warhammer 40K: Space Marines 2, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Silent Hill 2, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and more are still on your wishlist, there’s good news.

Whether you’re treating yourself or hunting for the perfect gift, these are the top video game deals to grab this Black Friday 2024. No mess, no fuss, just real Black Friday deals.

Meta Quest 3S VR Headset and Batman: Arkham Shadow

As part of the Amazon Black Friday Sale, you can score a bonus $75 Amazon digital credit when you purchase a Meta Quest 3S VR headset for $299. The Quest 3S also comes bundled with the Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game and a three-month trial of Meta Quest+.

In IGN's 8/10 review, Dan Stapleton wrote that "Batman: Arkham Shadow makes most of the Arkham series' defining gameplay work respectably well in VR, and its mystery story pays off."

Metroid Prime Trilogy: Visual Retrospective Art Book for $34.99

Nintendo is releasing Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective, a 212-page hardcover art book that delves into the creation and evolution of the Metroid Prime trilogy. Partnering with Piggyback, the book is set to launch on July 31, 2025. The premium collectible was originally priced at $49.99, but preorders are now available with a $15 discount from Amazon.

The anthology spans over 20 years of Metroid Prime history, offering insights into the series' development, including behind-the-scenes notes and anecdotes from the teams who brought the trilogy to life. There's also exclusive developer interviews, commentary from key creators, and a foreword by Metroid Prime producer Kensuke Tanabe.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $30

It's official, Nintendo is having a great Black Friday this year. Tears of the Kingdom is the only Nintendo Switch game released by Nintendo to retail for $69.99, but it's gotten a fantastic Black Friday discount this year. After being out of stock, it's back on sale to just $30 at Walmart. This is the lowest we've seen the game yet, and the deal applies to both physical and digital copies of the game.

In our 10/10 review, we said Tears of the Kingdom "is an unfathomable follow-up to one of the greatest games ever made, somehow improving upon it in nearly every way – be that with simple quality-of-life improvements, a genuinely exciting story, or wildly creative new building mechanics that make you rethink what is possible."

Metaphor: ReFantazio for $49.99

Among the standout offers for gamers is Metaphor: ReFantazio, the critically acclaimed RPG that launched to rave reviews in October, and has even got a nod for 'Best Game' at the Game of the Year Awards.

For a limited time, you can snag the game for $20 off on PS5 and Xbox platforms, down to just $49.99. Whether you've been holding out for it to go on sale or want the best price when picking it up as a gift, this is likely the lowest we’ll see before Christmas.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for $15

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is now just $14.97 on PS5 at Amazon, a significant $35 off its list price. Despite some disappointment from Ubisoft, the game has garnered praise for its classic feel and modern polish, with many critics calling it one of the better releases this year.

We gave Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown an 8/10, with reviewer Phil Hornshaw stating: "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown captures not only what made games such as The Sands of Time so good, but it irons out a lot of the little issues that plagued the 3D games in this series by opting for a 2D perspective – and owning it.

Silent Hill 2 for $30

If you are into horror games and still haven't played Silent Hill 2, now is a great chance to start as the PS5 version of Silent Hill 2 is more than half off at Walmart for Black Friday. As one of several Black Friday video game deals going on right now, the Silent Hill 2 remake was one highly requested by fans, and it did not disappoint.

From our review: "The remake is a modern reminder not just of an era where Konami was a master of survival horror, but also the significant power of Silent Hill 2’s unrelenting misery." So, are you ready to play one of the best horror games of all time?

Sonic X Shadow Generations for $29.99

Have you tried Sonic X Shadow Generations yet? If not, now’s the perfect time. It's down to $29.99 for Black Friday on PS5, Switch, and Xbox – $20 off the price it launched at just over a month ago. This isn’t a sign of trouble; Sega often discounts even its top-performing games during Black Friday sales. Instead, this is simply one of the season's best gaming deals.

For $30, you’re getting Sonic Generations remastered, paired with the ultimate Shadow experience in Shadow Generations. It’s an incredible package and a contender for game of the year in my opinion. Whether you're a Sonic fan or not, this is a must-play experience and a bargain at this price.

Star Wars Outlaws for $39.99

If you chose patience with Star Wars Outlaws, then here is your reward. The new Star Wars game has been discounted in the Black Friday sales, now down to $39.99 on PS5 and Xbox. That's $30 off the original list price and potentially a much better offering for anyone who was unsure of the game when it launched back in late August.

The deal also features Amazon's exclusive limited edition content pack, which includes Rogue Infiltrator cosmetics for Kay and Nix. It's likely the best deal we're getting on the game before Christmas, so snap it up if you've been waiting for a sale or want to gift it to someone over the holidays.

PS5 Fornite Bundle for $424

Sony released its entire set of Black Friday PlayStation deals last week and most major retailers have followed suit. The best deal is definitely on the consoles themselves.

The PS5 Slim Disc Edition has dropped to $424.99 (originally $500) and the PS5 Slim Digital Edition has dropped to $374.99 (originally $450). I would choose the Disc Edition because it's only $50 more and then I have the option to buy (and later sell or trade) physical disc media.

Metal Gear Solid: The Master Collection Vol. 1 for $18.99

Ready to sneak back into one of gaming's most legendary franchises? Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 for PS5, Switch, and Xbox is just $18.99 at Amazon for Black Friday. That's a stealthy 53% off its $39.99 retail price, saving you over $20 while delivering a masterclass in espionage action. At under $20, this is a Black Friday deal worth crawling through an air vent for.

This iconic bundle includes a lineup of classics that define a generation, such as Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. But the nostalgia doesn't stop there. You'll also get early entries like Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, plus rarities like Snake's Revenge and the NES version of Metal Gear. It's like a time machine for your gaming console with better graphics.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for $49.99

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has a phenomenal campaign that you can play either single-player or with up to three friends. The story is nice and twisty, pitting you and your fellow futuristic military men against the alien Tyranid forces.

Once you’re done with the campaign, there’s a whole lot of cosmetic gear and armor colors you can collect by playing co-op missions or online multiplayer matches. The whole game is just a great shooter that delivers on the fundamentals. Plus, it looks fantastic, having left behind the previous generation of consoles. You can read IGN's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 review for more details to see whether it’ll appeal to you. We loved it, though, giving it an 8 out of 10.

PlayStation VR 2 is $349.99 for Black Friday

This is one of the standout deals of Black Friday: the PSVR2 Horizon: Call of the Mountain bundle is now just $350, a massive $250 discount. At this price, it matches the cost of the standalone PSVR2 in the sale, but the bundle is the clear choice—offering an excellent game to pair with your new high-performance VR headset.

This deal puts the PSVR2 in direct competition with more budget-friendly options like the Meta Quest, making it an enticing option for those looking to dive into premium virtual reality. It’s a great opportunity for newcomers to experience top-tier VR gaming at an unbeatable price.

DualSense Controllers for $54

DualSense controllers are now just $54.99, a significant drop from their usual $74.99 MSRP. Even better, special edition models, featuring unique designs, are also discounted to $59.99. This marks one of the best deals we’ve seen on DualSense controllers in quite some time, making it a great opportunity to pick one up—or even grab a spare for multiplayer gaming.

Whether you're upgrading your PlayStation setup or hunting for a holiday gift, this Black Friday offer delivers exceptional value. With discounts this good, it’s the perfect time to invest in a high-quality controller that enhances every gaming experience.

PS5 2TB SSD for $133.99

Amazon has dropped the 2TB WD Black SN850X PS5 SSD with Heatsink down to just $133.99 for Black Friday today, and tremendous deal this year and one of the best SSD deals we've had since Prime Day.

WD Black SN850X is one of the best-performing PCIe 4.0 SSDs on the market; this is not only the best SSD for your PlayStation 5 console, but it can also be a blazing-fast boot drive for your gaming rig. Whichever you're buying it for, you won't find it cheaper before the end of the sales this weekend.

Switch/ Steam Deck Micro SD Card for $55

Looking for the best micro SD card for your Switch or Steam Deck this Black Friday? Then look no further, as these are truly the absolute best deals today. For $55 you can get a perfect 1TB micro SD card, or for $88.99 you can score one of our favorite 1.5TB micro SD cards.

My advice? Opt for the 1TB card for just $55, as that's an all-time low and one of the best deals I've ever seen for the Steam Deck. 1TB cards can go from upwards of $90+ even when on sale, so this is a rare opportunity to get a real Black Friday discount. Plus, if you're a Switch owner, there's a decent likelihood that the Switch 2 will run optimized for U3 A2 micro SD cards.

Switch OLED Bundle for $274.99

Priced at $275, alongside the standard Switch bundle for $225, if they're in stock they're the best BlackF Friday Switch deal ever. Both include a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription, making them standout Black Friday deals of 2024, and probably my favorite deal of the year.

This deal has already sold out multiple times before Black Friday (today!), and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes again before the end of the day. Even with the rumored Switch 2 likely arriving next year, it’s worth grabbing this bundle for your kids, a friend, or yourself, but do it quickly to avoid missing out, as it’s unlikely to last much longer.

SteelSeries Gaming Headsets for PS5 Are on Sale for Black Friday at Amazon and Best Buy

For Black Friday, Amazon has dropped the price of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P gaming headset to just $107.99 after a lofty 40% off instant discount. The Arctis 7P is one of the best headsets you can get for the PlayStation 5 and PC. I own a pair of these myself and highly recommend it.

IGN writer Matthew Adler reviewed the PC version of the Arctis Nova 7, saying: "SteelSeries continues to push the boundaries of what a headset is capable of. With the addition of simultaneous Bluetooth audio, you can enjoy music, podcasts, or just chat with your friends without losing your game audio – all with a single pair of headphones. The Arctis Nova 7’s new design is sleek, lightweight, and still remains one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve ever used."

40% Off SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Gaming Headset

The SteelSeries Nova 7 is the latest successor to the highly rated Arctis 7 series of headsets. It's every bit as good as its predecessor but with some welcome upgrades like a USB Type-C charging port, a longer battery life (38 hours vs. 30 hours), simultaneous wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, and multi-platform compatibility. PC gamers also have access to the SteelSeries GG app, which opens up a whole suite of customization for your audio. You can tailor your audio settings independently for each game. If that's too much for you, there are presets for specific games that are actually tailormade by the game developers. For PS5 gamers, the Nova 7 is also compatible with the PlayStation 5's Tempest 3D Audio.

The Arctis Nova 7P is definitely one of the best headsets at this price point. It has significantly better build quality compared to the official $100 Xbox wireless headset, or even to SteelSeries' own Arctis Nova 5, which also normally sells for close to this price. If you want an even better SteelSeries branded wireless headset, check out the deal below.

50% Off SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset

If you're looking for a wireless gaming headset with swappable batteries, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless gaming headset is going to be your best bet – now at the best price you'll find. Best Buy just dropped 50% off this headset for Black Friday, now only $139.99 shipped. The packaging mentions only PS4 and PC compatibility, however SteelSeries has confirmed PS5 compatibility. The only other wireless headset with swappable batteries is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, and we've never seen that model sell for under $250.
