How much you enjoy your VR headset is largely affected by the quality of the image. There might be some haptic feedback involved, but what you're most perceiving is visual. If the image that you see if blurry, or distorted, it takes you out of the immersion.

Acer Nitro 5 - Performance

Combined with its high-powered GPU, this specific model comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H processor that offers eight cores and 12 processing threads. The CPU defaults to a frequency of 2.1 GHz but can amp up to a Max Turbo Frequency of 4.6 GHz. While its competitor, the Ryzen 5 Processor, is typically better for handling multi-threaded workloads, the i5 features much faster speeds overall when it comes to single-core performance.

Last year, the Series 9 (the new model at the time) dropped to $329 for Black Friday, so this is probably the best price we're going to see this year. Just like the Mini, the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer, got the M4 upgrade this year. This computer starts at 16GB of RAM and comes in seven stunning color options, from a staid silver to bold green, blue, and red, to name a few. The 4.5K display is the standout feature here, measuring 24". The iMac also comes with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse, both of which now have USB-C ports for charging. This machine looks great on any desk you put it on, and it packs a whole lot of computing power.

AirTags are the unsung heroes of the Apple lineup. They’re not flashy like some of the other products, but they get the job done and give you peace of mind. A four-pack is currently on sale for $72.99, which is real close to their all-time low price of $69.99. I wouldn’t expect them to drop much lower this Black Friday.

Apple's brand-new 2024 M4-powered Mac Mini had a $100 discount at Amazon with a clipped coupon offer, but this deal has expired. We anticipate it will drop again closer to Black Friday proper. This is a powerful computer, despite its diminutive footprint. That M4 chip packs a wallop, easily handling nearly any computing task you can throw at it. Powered by Apple’s M2 Pro chip with a 10-Core CPU, a 16-Core GPU, and a 16-Core Neural Engine, this tiny computer breezes through heavy tasks like video editing and much more.

This would be a good time to jump on the game – it's not been long since Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment deployed a massive update bringing a host of performance and gameplay enhancements, a range of visual improvements, and bug fixes to the open-world sci-fi game on console and PC.

The publisher laid out everything new in the patch notes on its website, with Ubisoft emphasizing that these updates were shaped by player feedback, reaffirming its commitment to closely listening as post-launch support for Star Wars Outlaws continues.

Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?

The official Black Friday sales events for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo have been underway for about a week, and most decent deals have been available. However, retailers are still droping prices on some games before they go out of stock – Star Wars Outlaws being one prime example. At this point, I wouldn't wait for a better price to come around on Cyber Monday. This is the game's all-time low price; I'd jump on this now before it sells out.

Based on the price, you can’t expect this TCL S4 TV to have all the bells and whistles of the very best 4K smart TVs (many of which are also on sale right now). But it has more higher-end features than you might think.

It has a 4K ultra-high-def display, complete with the color accuracy and brightness of HDR. It offers up to 120Hz and has an automatic game mode for when you want to play PS5, Xbox, or Switch. It’s also a Roku smart TV, so it has built-in access to all the streaming apps like Disney+, Max, Netflix, and the rest. It’s a totally serviceable TV that offers a great value for the price.
