The $10 Joyroom Apple Watch Charger Has an Internal 2,000mAh Battery for Charging on the Go

If you need to buy a new Apple Watch charger, there's a better option than paying $29 for the official - but basic - charger. Amazon is offering Amazon Prime members the Joyroom Portable Apple Watch Charger featuring an internal 2,000mAh battery for cordless charging for just $9.91 after you apply coupon code "T6STW6AM". Now you can charge your Apple Watch on the road, even when there's no outlet nearby.

Joyroom 2,000mAh Portable Apple Watch Charger for $9.91

You no longer need to be near an outlet to charge your Apple Watch

The Joyroom charger works similarly to the official Apple charger. Like the official charger, you can plug the Joyroom charger into an available USB Type-C port. Then you simply set your Apple Watch on the base without having to plug anything in. The Watch magnetically attaches and starts charging wirelessly. However, that's where the similarities end.

The Joyroom also has a built-in 2,000mAh battery that allows you to charge your Apple Watch even when no outlet is readily available. The battery is good for two to four complete charges depending on which Apple Watch model you have. A 3.3 feet USB charging cable is included to recharge your Joyroom.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z TriFold Will Cost More Than My Car Is Worth

Samsung has announced it is just about ready to take orders for the Galaxy Z TriFold, the grotesque foldable monstrosity the company made official last month. Starting on January 30th, you'll be able to order one in black, starting at a mere $2,899. Why, that's only a few hundred dollars more than the trade-in value of my (admittedly quite old) 2004 Lexus SUV. What a deal!

What do you get for this nearly $3,000 phone? Features include: a 10-inch, 120Hz OLED display when unfolded; 3.9mm thickness at the Z TriFold's thinnest point (or 12.9mm when folded); a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor; a 200MP camera; and gobs of AI features you may or may not ever use. Internally, it sports a lot of the same hardware as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, a great foldable that earned an 8/10 in IGN's review last year. Could it unseat the Z Fold 7 as IGN's favorite foldable? Only time and testing will tell.

Samsung brags that the phone's main display has undergone "a 200,000-cycle multi-folding test," which it says is "equivalent to folding the device approximately 100 times a day for five years." Of course, durability is about more than how many times the phone can fold and foldables have been a bit of a step back when it comes to dustproofing. Samsung claims an IP48 ingress rating – which means it can resist solid objects larger than a millimeter. Small solids like you'll find in dirt and sand still seem to be a crunchy issue for the phone in YouTuber Zack Nelson's rundown of the phone on his JerryRigEverything channel last month.

Anyway, if you've got the money and the sort of gentle disposition that would keep the TriFold in ship shape long enough to justify its cost, then rejoice friend, for you'll be able to order it straight from Samsung in but a few days.

The Powerful 4K-Ready Skytech O11 Vision Radeon 9070 XT Gaming PC Drops to $1,630

Best Buy is offering a fantastic deal on a powerful 4K-capable gaming PC during a month when prebuilt prices are constantly on the rise. Right now you can pick up this Skytech O11 Vision AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Radeon RX 9070 XT gaming PC for $1,629.99 with free shipping. The Radeon RX 9070 XT is an outstanding graphics card that can run the latest games in 4K, and it's considerably less expensive than a comparable GeForce 5000 series GPU.

Skytech O11 Vision Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming PC for $1,630

The Skytech gaming PC is generously equipped across the board. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB GPU, 32GB of DDR5-6000MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Ryzen 7 7700 is an 8-core, 16 thread CPU with a max boost clock of 5.3GHz. This is a solid CPU for gaming and you won't need to upgrade it for a long time. It's cooled by a robust 360mm all-in-one liquid cooling system and paired with DDR5-6000MHz RAM, which is rare nowadays.

The system is contained in the gorgeous Lian Li O11 Vision case, which is often touted as one of the best panoramic glass cases (or, as often lovingly described, fish tank cases) on the market. It offers great airflow, plenty of room for components, and enough glass to show off your fancy setup. The entire system is run off a 850W 80Plus Gold certified power supply with headroom for future upgrades.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT Received a 10/10 at IGN

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is the only 2025-released GPU that we gave a 10/10 score. Even though it costs $150 less than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, the 9070 XT beats it out in several of the games we tested. In a few benchmarks, the results aren't even close. The 9070 XT approaches the performance of the $1,000 RX 7900 XTX but with better ray tracing and upscaling performance than its predecessor.

This is the least expensive graphics card from either AMD or Nvidia that I would comfortably recommend for playing the latest and most demanding games in 4K at 60fps or higher framerates. Check out our AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT review.

Dirty Dancing Sequel Finds Its Footing as Lionsgate Schedules Production for Later This Year With New Creative Team

Lionsgate is heading back to the dance floor, as the sequel to Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey’s ‘80s classic, Dirty Dancing, has finally found footing with a new creative team.

The company announced its plans to revisit the beloved romance film’s universe are back on track today, confirming development has kicked up again, with new members of its core creative team already in place. Production is now set to begin later this year, with Grey still signed on to reprise her role as Frances “Baby” Houseman.

Baby, we’re back. #DirtyDancing sequel - starring Jennifer Grey. Now in development. pic.twitter.com/XZa16Wic0l

— Dirty Dancing Movie (@DirtyDancingMov) January 27, 2026

Hunger Games and Crazy Rich Asians producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson have boarded to oversee Dirty Dancing 2, with Glow, New Girl, and Only Murders in the Building writer Kim Rosenstock attached to pen its screenplay. Meredith Wieck and Maria Ascanio will oversee for Lionsgate, and Grey is also on board as an executive producer.

“The role of Baby has held a very deep and meaningful place in my heart, as it has in the hearts of so many fans over the years,” Grey said in a statement. “I’ve long wondered where we might find Baby years later and what her life might be like, but it’s taken time to assemble the kind of people that I felt could be entrusted to build on the legacy of the original film… and I’m excited to say that It looks like the wait will soon be over!”

Director Emile Ardolino’s Dirty Dancing premiered in 1987 and tells the dance-infused love story of Baby and Johnny Castle (Swayze). Beyond leaving its mark with standout performances from its leads, the quintessential ‘80s movie is known for its all-time great soundtrack, featuring songs like Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes’ (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life and Eric Carmen’s Hungry Eyes.

Lionsgate’s first announced its Dirty Dancing sequel in 2020, confirming Warm Bodies’ Jonathan Levine had been brought in to direct a screenplay from Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis (Five Feet Apart). Although Levine is still involved as an executive producer, he will no longer direct, leaving the spot vacant for now.

“Dirty Dancing is that rare film that is as emotional, exhilarating, and rebellious today as it was the year it was released,” Jacobson said in a statement. “To be able to work with Jennifer Grey and Lionsgate on the sequel is a genuine joy for Brad and me. We feel so fortunate to have been invited back to Kellerman’s for one more dance.”

Dirty Dancing 2 currently has no release date. While we wait for a schedule and director update, you can read about IGN's favorite movies of 2025, including which one we think was best.

Pokémon TCG: Ascended Heroes - Where to Preorder Before Release Day

The Ascended Heroes expansion is about to kick off the Pokémon TCG’s 2026 run with its 30 January release date fast approaching, and there are only a couple of places where you can reliably buy preorders for ETBs, booster packs, and collections right now.

That’s along with not every product being launched on that 30 January release date.

As expected, the usual drops at MSRP at sites like the Pokémon Center US and UK are already sold out. Preorders at Target are already sold out as well, while Best Buy’s selection is merely marked as “Coming Soon”.

With that, outside of keeping up with deal trackers, you’ll very more than likely have to pay above retail price for the time being.

That said, we’ll give you a full breakdown of the best places to get your buy for Pokémon preorders for whichever Mega Evolution: Ascended Heroes products you’re looking out for.

Ascended Heroes Tech Sticker Collection — Charmander & Ghastly

Only a handful of Pokémon TCG products for the Ascended Heroes expansion are launching right away on 30 January, with the Charmander and Ghastly Tech Collections preorders being the best to buy first — the cheapest being at Walmart for $39.97 each (random), or at Amazon for around $43 each.

Each collection gets you three Ascended Heroes booster packs, a titular promo card, and a tech sticker sheet.

Pre-orders for individual Ascended Heroes booster packs are sold out over at TCGplayer and aren’t listed at Amazon or Walmart, so the Tech Sticker Collections give you the best value for money.

Ascended Heroes Collection Blisters — Erika & Larry

One of the first Ascended Heroes products releasing with the set’s launch on 30 January, the Erika and Larry blister packs are arguably the second-hottest to buy right now — and pre-orders can be bought cheapest for $34.99 at Amazon.

However, whichever one you get between the Larry and Erika edition (Larry’s has a Komala promo card, and Erika’s with Tangela). If you want Larry’s specifically, you can spend a little more at Amazon, with the cheapest listing available being $39.95.

Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Boxes

As is normally the case with a new expansion in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Ascended Heroes is the most in demand, but pre-orders can be bought right now at TCGplayer for $117.85 or Walmart for $149.99.

The one thing to keep in mind with each option here is that these are individual or third-party retailers trading on each platform, but what they’re offering with their listings for Ascended Heroes Trainer Boxes is all the same:

  • Nine Ascended Heroes booster packs
  • N’s Zekrom foil promo card
  • 65 themed card sleeves
  • 40 Energy cards
  • Player’s guide
  • Six damage-counter dice
  • Coin-flip die (competition legal)
  • Plastic coin
  • Code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live
  • Collector’s box, plus six organizational dividers

For the very serious collector’s out there, TCGplayer is also stocking resales of the Exclusive Pokemon Center edition of the Ascended Heroes ETB — the lowest for a whopping $399 plus $200 shipping; all of that extra money gets you an extra N’s Zekrom foil promo card, but also emblazoned with the Pokemon Center Logo, and arriving in an alternative box.

Keep in mind, however, that the Pokémon Company announced a delayed launch date of 20 February 2026 for Ascended Heroes ETBs to 20 February 2026. So, even if you do get a pre-order in before January 30, you’ll need to wait a few more weeks.

Ascended Heroes Mini-Tins

Also, with a delayed release date of February 20, listings for the Pokémon TCG’s Ascended Heroes Mini-Tins are still incredibly expensive on TCGplayer — making Walmart’s pre-order price of $29.99 the cheapest to buy right now.

Granted, whichever style of tin you’ll get among these is totally random, but is cheaper than paying over six times the price to get a specific one on TCGplayer.

Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collections

Packing ten Pokémon TCG: Ascended Heroes booster packs, a titular promo card (Mega Gardevoir ex or Mega Lucario ex; and a poster to go with it, you can buy a pre-order of the Premium Poster Collections right now at Walmart for $124.99 each.

This is currently the only place to buy, with TCGplayer being sold out. Plus, keep in mind that whichever one you get of the two will be random.

Also, The Pokemon Company also announced these collections will be released at a later date of 20 March.

Ascended Heroes Booster Bundles

Offering a box of six Pokémon TCG booster packs, the Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle is best to pre-order at Walmart — offering the lowest price of $77.95, compared to TCGplayer sellers asking for $82.44 plus $200 shipping at best.

We expect better TCGplayer sellers with better offers to be closer to the Ascended Heroes Booster Bundles’ release date, which was also announced as an even further delayed date of 24 April 2026. In the meantime, though, Walmart’s the best go-to.

Yes, at launch, there were some frame rate hiccups, but ATLUS seems to have resolved the problem so you can enjoy this classic RPG adventure in all its glory. In our review of Persona 3 Reload, Michael Higham even said, “With a stellar visual overhaul and countless small but impactful changes, Persona 3 Reload tells a timeless story of tragedy and hope with sharp emotional sincerity.”

Six Stars: This New Short Film May Be the Closest We Get to a Live-Action Grand Theft Auto Movie

The release of GTA 6 may still be a long way off, but indie filmmaker Todd Wiseman Jr. has made an ambitious new short film, titled Six Stars, that essentially brings Grand Theft Auto into live-action. The short film is available on YouTube and can also be watched via the embed below.

Wiseman Jr. (The School Duel) wrote and directed Six Stars and also produced it with Christa Boarin. Trevor Gureckis (M. Night Shyamalan's Old) composed the score.

The short film stars Anatomy of a Fall’s Milo Machado-Graner as a French teenage gamer who, according to the logline provided to IGN, “goes on an ‘American rampage’, spiraling through a world that can’t look away... where violence is packaged, shared, and applauded.“

Watch the entire seven-minute short film Six Stars via the player embedded below.

The logline adds: “Shot against the backdrop of Tampa, Florida, Wiseman Jr.’s hometown, Six Stars questions the representation of masculinity in today's entertainment while simultaneously confronting the glorification and entertainment value placed on violence, one of The United States' chief exports.”

Check out the poster and some select still photos from Six Stars by scrolling through the slideshow below.

Plus, watch this behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film here:

Magic: The Gathering Secrets of Strixhaven Is Now Available to Preorder

After the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion in March, Magic: The Gathering returns to the in-universe plane Strixhaven in April of 2026. Secrets of Strixhaven is our second outing at the School of Mages, and with it comes a host of new cards and sealed product to get your hands on, with preorders now live over on Amazon.

Preorder MTG: Secrets of Strixhaven - Out April 24, 2026

Magic is releasing an unprecedented seven mainline expansions this year, each with their own collection of different products to pick from. Secrets of Strixhaven is the next true Magic set, taking place at a previously-explored plane. With some new and returning card mechanics, this is one to keep an eye on.

See below for a breakdown of each product and their prices. And if you're curious about what to expect from Magic in 2026, we have a helpful roadmap guide to explain it all. The next big release after this one is Marvel Super Heroes, which is also available to preorder.

Play Boosters

Play Booster packs are what you'll use to build out your collection and update your decks. You can purchase packs individually or get the Play Booster box, which contains 30 packs.

Commander Decks

Commander is easily the most popular format among serious and casual players alike. With Secrets of Strixhaven, we'll be getting five new preconstructed Commander decks based around the five classes at the School of Mages.

Collector Boosters

Collector Boosters are like regular Play Boosters, but you'll receive many of the set's rare chase cards and alternate art foils. There's a reason they're so expensive!

Bundle

Bundles make a great gift or stocking stuffer Magic players. You'll receive nine Play Booster packs, an alternate art foil card, 40 basic lands, and a 20-sided spindown life counter.

Codex Bundle

Details are still scarce on the Codex Bundle, but we do know this includes two Collector Booster packs, six Play Boosters, two foil promo cards, 20 foil basic lands, and a 20-sided spindown life counter.

Draft Night

While you can use a Play Booster box to draft, the Draft Night kit is specifically set up for groups of four players to do a quick Pick-Two draft.

The Magic: The Gathering Marvel Super Heroes Set Is Up for Preorder

Magic: The Gathering is about to have a busy year, with an unprecedented seven mainline sets dropping before year's end. One of these is the highly-anticipated Universes Beyond set Marvel Super Heroes, featuring our favorite heroes, villains, locations, and more from the iconic comic books. The set releases in June after Secrets of Strixhaven, and preorders are now live on Amazon.

Preorder MTG: Marvel Super Heroes - Out June 26, 2026

We already got a small tease of how Marvel characters would look through both Secret Lairs and the main Spider-Man set, but with Marvel Super Heroes, Wizards of the Coast will be expanding into its own MCU (Marvel Card Universe, please clap).

A massive selection of sealed products will be available to preorder and at launch, and we've broken each of them down individually, detailing prices and contents. We've also put together a handy roadmap for Magic's 2026 releases, so you can plan ahead.

Play Boosters

Crack play boosters to open up cards out of the main set. You can use these packs to build your decks, bolster your collection, and even do a Booster Draft (more on this in a bit).

Commander Decks

Magic players new and old can agree that Commander is one of the best ways to play the game. With Marvel Super Heroes, we'll be getting four brand new pre-constructed Commander decks featuring some of our favorite heroes and villains throughout Marvel history. You can get them individually, in an all-in-one bundle, and even get Collector's Edition decks, which feature Surge Foil alternate art cards.

Collector Boosters

Similar to Play Boosters, the premium Collector Boosters are where you'll find the set's chase cards, like rare alternate editions, fancy reprints, and plenty of foils.

Beginner Box

If you're new to Magic in general, the Beginner Box is the perfect place to start. It comes with premade guided decks and an easy-to-follow explanation of the rules.

Jumpstart Booster Box

Jumpstart boxes serve players in a way similar to how Core Sets used to. They're Standard legal, easy-to-play expansions that feature both reprints and new cards.

Bundle

Essentially a miniature Play Booster Box. You'll get nine Play Booster packs, a foil promo card, a 20-sided spindown life counter, and a pack of 40 basic lands to customize your decks.

Gift Bundle

Gift Bundles function similarly to regular bundles, but it comes with a Collector Booster and retro comic art packaging. As of writing this, there are minimal details on what you'll get with this.

Scene Boxes

Scene Boxes are great for collectors and fans of Marvel Comics. Each one contains six alternate art cards that can be placed together to form one big scene. It also comes with a display case.

Draft Night

Draft Boxes are built specifically for Pick-Two Draft in a pod of four players. It's a much quicker and easier way to draft, but instead of traditional draft you'll (you guessed it) pick two cards instead of one.

It's paired with 64GB (two sticks of 32GB) of DDR5-6400MHz RAM, which is generous considering the ridiculous price of memory these days.

The GeForce RTX 5090 is without doubt the fastest mobile GPU you can get

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 is the most powerful mobile graphics card on the market, performing about 15% better than the RTX 5080. It also has considerably more VRAM (24GB vs 16GB), which can come in handy when playing games at higher resolutions (like on an attached 4K monitor) or if you're planning to use this as a mobile creator or AI workstation. Everyone is also aware by now that current generation VRAM is in extremely high demand, so getting 24GB of GDDR7 in a $3K laptop sounds like a great "deal" at the moment.

The GeForce RTX 5080 mobile GPU is better than the RTX 4090 mobile

The Legion Pro 7 laptop offers a robust cooling design that allows it to accomodate a more powerful GPU like the RTX 5080 without throttling it. That's important if you want to be able to play games comfortably on the display's enhanced 2560x1600 resolution. The RTX 5080 mobile GPU is roughly 15%-20% more powerful than the RTX 4080 mobile GPU that it replaces. In fact, it's slightly more powerful than the RTX 4090, which was the previous generation's flagship card. You should be able to run any game out there at consistent 60+ fps framerates.

Zootopia 2 Is Now Available to Watch at Home After a Record-Breaking Box Office Run

Zootopia 2 was Disney's biggest movie in 2025 thanks to a monstrous worldwide box office run. In fact, as of January 2026, the popular sequel has become the highest-grossing animated Hollywood film of all time and is even nominated for an Oscar. If you missed your chance to see it in theaters, the good news is that you now have the option to watch it at home. Zootopia 2 is now available to buy or rent digitally on all major VOD platforms.

IGN had the chance to review the film when it first came out and gave it a solid 8 out of 10, saying: "Zootopia 2 brings all the same animated whodunnit action and clever animal jokes as the 2016 version with a welcome new cast of allies."

Where to Watch Zootopia 2 Online

There are two options available for watching Zootopia 2 at home, you can choose to rent it for $24.99 or buy it for $29.99. If you choose to rent on Prime Video, you'll have 30 days to start watching the film before your rental expires. However, once you start playing the movie you'll only have access to it for 48 hours before it leaves your library. Purchasing the film for an extra $5 will mean you can watch it whenever you'd like (as long as Amazon retains the rights to it).

Similar rules apply to other VOD platforms like Apple TV, Fandango at Home, or Youtube. If you'd prefer to buy a physical copy of the film, you'll have to wait a bit longer.

Zootopia 2 4K Blu-ray Release Date

Disney recently announced that the physical release of Zootopia 2 will arrive on March 3, 2026. This will include 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of the movie as well as limited edition steelbook. Like all of the 4K Disney releases, the physical edition will include a variety of bonus features and deleted scenes.

Streaming Disney+ Release Date Speculation

If you're waiting for Zootopia 2 to come to Disney+, we unfortunately don't yet have a streaming release date for the film. With the physical release date of March 3, it seems likely the film will come to streaming sometime shortly after that. Based on past Disney releases, I'd expect it to hit Disney+ sometime in late March or early April. However, due to its success in the box office, it's possible that Disney will push the streaming release date back a bit further than usual.

In the meantime, you can check out all of the Disney+ deals currently available. There are a few different ways to save on a Disney+ subscription right now if you want to avoid paying full price.

Reigns: The Witcher Announced, Letting You Swipe Right on Everyone's Favorite Monster Slayer

Reigns: The Witcher has been announced by indie publisher Devolver Digital, in collaboration with CD Projekt Red.

This card-based take on The Witcher features the familiar Reigns gameplay formula where players draw random opportunities and encounters then swipe left or right to choose what to do next (yes, exactly like a dating app).

Today's reveal trailer features plenty of familiar faces from The Witcher franchise who will be familiar to fans of CD Projekt's existing trilogy of RPG titles, including Yennefer, Triss, Vesemir, Dandelion, The Bloody Baron, Roach and... Maisy the Cow? We're less sure about that last one.

Here, Geralt's quests are retold as plays by Dandelion, who holds the hero's fate in his hands. Whether sticking to the facts or stretching the truth, you'll need to keep Geralt's infamy in balance to ensure your run continues for as long as possible. And while your adventures with Geralt are likely to end in many deaths, each run will reward you with songbooks to perform on ever grander stages in the hope of ultimately reaching narrative immortality.

Reigns: The Witcher is developed by Reigns series developer Nerial, and set for launch on February 25 for PC via Steam and on mobile via Google Play and the iPhone App Store.

The release of Reigns: The Witcher this spring feels well-timed, amid a temporary lull in the launch of CD Projekt's bestselling series. The Witcher 4 is currently in "full production", its developer has said, but won't be ready in time for 2026. When it does arrive, however, CD Projekt has planned an ambitious six-year roadmap in which it will also launch The Witcher 5 and The Witcher 6. And before all of that, whispers abound that there's one final adventure coming to The Witcher 3 — though nothing, as yet, has been officially announced.

Amazon Drops AirPods Pro 3 Back to Their Lowest Price Yet

Amazon has a sweet little surprise in store for Apple users right now: the AirPods Pro 3 have dropped below $200 once again. According to price tracker camelcamelcamel, they're now back to their lowest price so far at $199, shaving $50 off their full price of $249 (see them here at Amazon). If you've had your eye on Apple's wireless earbuds, now is an excellent time to add them to your virtual shopping cart.

AirPods Pro 3 for $199

Apple's latest Pro earbuds seem like quite the upgrade over the older Pro 2s, offering up to twice as much noise-cancellation in comparison. Not to mention, they also feature foam-infused ear tips, which help keep any outside noises from getting in the way of what you're listening to. If you have any trips or long commutes on the horizon (or just enjoy wearing them around the house or while working), these seem like a great pick-up so you don't have to listen to chatty people or loud noises around you.

Alongside their noise-cancellation capabilities, these earbuds also have cool features like built-in heart rate sensing and live translation. They even have a solid battery life: when using Active Noise Cancellation, they will last you up to eight hours on a single charge. If you switch to Transparency mode, they can go up to 10 hours.

Keep in mind that deals like this often don't last for very long. If AirPods Pro 3 have been on your wish list, now is your chance to scoop them up for $199 while the discount is still available. Plus, with Valentine's Day on the horizon, this is a great opportunity to save on them if you have them in mind as a gift idea for someone you care about this year.

Magic: The Gathering's Full Release Schedule for 2026 Confirmed

Magic: The Gathering had some great sets in 2025, but it also showed Wizards of the Coast perhaps straying a little too far from what makes the long-running card game special.

That’s not to say Universes Beyond was a total bust. Final Fantasy brought in record-breaking numbers of players, and Avatar: The Last Airbender was a return to some semblance of form after the disappointment of Spider-Man.

Still, cardboard waits for no Planeswalker, and there are more sets in 2026 - seven, in total. That’s before we even get into the myriad of Secret Lair drops, and perhaps most worryingly, four of those sets are Universes Beyond.

Will they end up being closer to Final Fantasy or Spider-Man? And will the in-universe sets live up to the high bar set by Tarkir: Dragonstorm or Edge of Eternities? Here’s everything coming to Magic: The Gathering in 2026.

Lorwyn Eclipsed - January 23, 2026

If you’ve been yearning for a return to Lorwyn, the first set of 2026 is here to get things started. The set is a Universes Within to kick off the year, and marks the debut of the Draft Night Box.

You can preorder it now, and it’ll see the return of Commander Decks for the first time since 2025’s Edge of Eternities with two options: A five-color, or a Jund option.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - March 6, 2026

Wizards of the Coast revealed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at Comic-Con New York, with Universes Beyond going back to The Big Apple for the second time in a few months.

Still, expect colorful new art of the Heroes in a Half Shell, their assorted rogues gallery, and the debut of a Turtle Team Up co-op game mode.

We've got a full rundown of the product lineup, so be sure to check out the preorder guide, including a five-color Commander deck that stars all four Turtles.

Secrets of Strixhaven - April 24, 2026

We still don’t know a great deal about our return to Strixhaven, but it is getting its own tie-in novel.

This Plane has been fertile ground for fun card designs and characters in the past, so here’s hoping for something good when it arrives in April. You can already preorder the full Secrets of Strixhaven set ahead of its release date.

Marvel Superheroes - June 26, 2026

Spider-Man arrived in 2025, and now more Marvel heroes are coming to MTG, too.

We’ve already seen cards for Iron Man, Black Panther, Fantastic Four, and more, and the set will lean on comic book versions of the Marvel universe’s characters. Will it be better than the underwhelming Spider-Man set, though? We’re at least hoping the increased roster of heroes and (hopefully) villains will make this more exciting. You can now preorder all of the Marvel Super Heroes boosters and bundles ahead of their June 26 release date.

The Hobbit - August 2026

We’re going back to Middle-earth! Universes Beyond: Lord of the Rings was a colossal win for Magic: The Gathering, and the fact its fantasy theming fit so well with the card game means it feels a lot less jarring than other crossovers.

The only information we have so far is the following:

“Join Bilbo’s adventure of a lifetime with Dwarves to befriend, Trolls to trick, Elves to outwit, and songs to sing. There's gold or dragon’s fire at the end, so enjoy the journey!”

Give us some Five Armies Commander Decks, please, or at least a Smaug card that isn’t just a Token creature.

Reality Fracture - October 2026

The last in-universe set of 2026 is Reality Fracture, and it’ll feature callbacks to Tarkir: Dragonstorm and Outlaws of Thunder Junction.

The team has suggested it has a theme players have wanted for a long time, but that’s all we know so far.

Star Trek - November 2026

If you felt Wizards had got the sci-fi out of their system with the (excellent) Edge of Eternities, think again.

November 2026 will see the arrival of a Star Trek set to celebrate that franchise’s 60th Anniversary, and it’ll incorporate everything from the original series to Strange New Worlds. It even got a trailer.

Magic's 2025 Sets - At a Glance

It’s also good idea to take stock of 2025’s sets, because it was definitely a year that divided opinion.

  • Innistrad: Remastered - January 24
  • Aetherdrift - February 14
  • Tarkir: Dragonstorm - April 11
  • Final Fantasy - June 13
  • Edge of Eternities - August 1
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man - September 16
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender - November 21

That’s seven sets in total, with three of those being Universes Beyond collaborations with the likes of Square Enix, Marvel, and Nickelodeon. And, from looking at the 2026 schedule, it looks as though Wizards is looking to stick to that ratio.

Iron Circus Comics Reveals 6 New Graphic Novels for 2026

The comic book industry is nothing if not a volatile place in 2026, particularly in light of Diamond Comics' bankruptcy last year. It falls on smaller publishers to find new and creative ways of getting their books to market, and that's something that Iron Circus Comics has always specialized in. They've built an entire publishing company on the back of crowdfunding, and they'll continue to expand in the new year.

IGN can exclusively reveal Iron Circus' crowfunding slate for 2026. Scroll down to learn about six new graphic novels launching in the coming months, covering everything from fantasy to sci-fi to relationship drama.

Sleeping Wizards

Creative Team: Writer Rusty Marcum, artist Johanna Taylor, and letterer Jodie Troutman

Launch Date: February 2026

A ragtag party of wizards & thieves brave a dangerous dungeon to free themselves and find out what happened to their missing father.

“I’ve always wanted to work on a D&D-inspired fantasy comic, and Sleeping Wizards is the perfect blend of action, adventure, humor, chaos, and imagination! Iron Circus is doing incredible things in the indie comics space, and I’m so excited to be part of it!” -Taylor

Runaway to the Stars

Creative Team: Cartoonist Jay Eaton

Launch Date: April 2026

Find where you belong in the stars - Talita is an alien raised by humans and nothing fits. Her quarters aren't big enough, her food isn't quite right, and she is either walked all over or told she is too scary. All that changes when a rogue AI from a salvage ship wants her help getting back into space.

“RUNAWAY TO THE STARS is the culmination of over a decade of science fiction worldbuilding, character development, hard work, research, and love. I'm thrilled for it to finally be taking flesh as a book with Iron Circus.” -Eaton

The Goblin Throne

Creative Team: Cartoonist Melanie Gillman

Launch Date: June 2026

What forbidden terrors await in the woods? - Looking upon the Goblin Queen will lead to your doom, even if she offers to take you as her bride. For once the deal is struck, she will insist you belong to her sooner or later. It is only a matter of waiting for her.

“Iron Circus has always been an unparalleled champion of weird, horny, queer comics, and I could not imagine a better home for this book — my weirdest, horniest, and queerest comic yet. This is no feel-good gay romance — it’s a bloody adult fairy tale about divorced moms and craven lesbian desire, and the horror of finally having a real, honest love within your grasp, if only a little murder hadn’t gotten in the way first.” -Gillman

Unsounded Vol. 3 & 4

Creative Team: Cartoonist Ashley Cope

Launch Date: August 2026

Ashley Cope’s legendary 15-year webcomic Unsounded has been compiled into a complete and ultimate collection. Continue the journey with UNSOUNDED Volumes Three & Four.

“Thanks to Iron Circus Comics, this marks the first time EVER that this material will be in print. We'll see the climax of the entire Nevergreen arc and the grisly demises and trippy introductions of some of the story's most pivotal characters! Gangsters, snakemen, six-titted bird goddesses, oh my!” -Cope

Rigsby, WI Vol. 3

Creative Team: Cartoonist SE Case

Launch Date: October 2026

S.E. Case’s beautifully drawn RIGSBY WI is a refreshingly genuine tale of life on the cusp of something new, and the saga continues here with Book 3.

“I've been doing RIGSBY WI as a webcomic series for 6 years, so it’s been really cool working with Iron Circus to bring it to print for the first time. The third installment in the series, Flux is a story of bad teen relationships, picturesque walks in the woods, poorly thought out metaphors, and rural queerness — one that I hope offers catharsis to readers who have experienced something similar.” -Case

"I am incredibly excited about our Kickstarter line-up for 2026,” said Iron Circus founder Spike Trotman in a statement. “It's an almost perfect cross-section of what I love about running a publisher like ICC. Unhinged fantasy, hard-sci-fi in its feelings, ultra-relatable slice-of-life. The kind of comics we want to make are stories that stick with you by creators who know how to make you care, and 2026 is us rolling a natural 20 on that. I've never been prouder of a KS line-up."

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 – Orks Faction Deep-Dive Trailer | IGN First

Take a deep dive into the Orks faction in the latest trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4, the upcoming real-time strategy game sequel from King Art Games that's due out later in 2026 for PC. It's a mixture of cinematics and gameplay. Check it out above. And if you know anything about this universe, you probably won't be surprised that the Orks are literally driven by mayhem and sporting a reckless, no-nonsense offensive playstyle. What you may not have been expecting is the scale of the carnage.

In particular, we get a great look at the Ork superunit, the Gorkanaut, which can crumple up dreadnoughts and go toe-to-toe with the likes of an Imperial Knight. Towering over the battlefield at a scale that sets Dawn of War apart from its predecessors, the number of guns on this thing could be described as both bewildering and hilarious. And that's just what the Orks are about.

Dawn of War 4 has been our IGN First "cover story" all January long. If you missed any of our previous exclusive coverage, don't miss our exclusive Ork cinematic trailer (watch it below), our hands-on impressions of the Ork faction, a look at how kill-sync animations are being enhanced with the combat director, and an interview with the creative leads behind the project.

We've got one more exclusive IGN First bit of coverage coming your way on Dawn of War 4 later this week. In the meantime, you can wishlist the upcoming RTS if you're interested.

The Simpsons' 800th Episode Will Star Noah Wyle, Boyz II Men and Kevin Bacon

The Simpsons has announced a star-studded cast for its landmark 800th episode, which is set to include Kevin Bacon, Noah Wyle, Questlove and Boyz II Men.

Quinta Brunson and Wyle's The Pitt co-stars Katherine LaNasa and Taylor Dearden will also feature in "Irrational Treasure", an episode that sounds like it'll be a mash-up of Best in Show and National Treasure. Bacon will play a concierge in the episode, while Wyle will appropriately play a doctor.

Due to air on Sunday, February 15, The Simpsons' 800th episode will see its family travel to The National Dog Show in Philadelphia and quickly get wrapped up in a "historical conspiracy adventure," according to details first published by Entertainment Weekly.

The long-running series is of course no stranger to special guest stars. Just this year, the show's 37th season has featured Lindsay Lohan, Viola Davis, Michael Keaton, Idris Elba, Kieran Culkin, Julianne Moore, and many others. The past 12 months have also brought controversies too, however, as the show killed off Marge only to insist she will never be shown dead again, before then killing off another long-running character — this time seemingly for good.

For the 800th episode, Boyz II Men will croon a special version of The Simpsons' iconic opening music, and also sing over its closing credits. Here's hoping they make it through the episode alive.

How long can The Simpsons continue on for? The show has currently been renewed until its 40th season, which means it will remain on-air through until at least 2029. A second Simpsons movie is also on the way, set to debut on September 3, 2027.

Apple's New and Improved AirTag 2 Is Now Available at Amazon

New AirTags have dropped. Rather than announcing AirTags (2nd Generation) in a press conference, Apple issued a quiet press release to let the world know a new model of the “item finder” is coming soon. The new AirTags cost the same as the original ones, and they’re now available to order at Amazon. You can get a single for $29.99 or a pack of four for $99.99. They’ll be delivered starting February 11.

Apple AirTag (2nd Generation)

In tech terms, the new AirTags are effectively a spec bump over the originals. The chief differences are that AirTags (2nd Generation) have “more powerful Precision Finding,” longer Bluetooth range, and a louder speaker. These are all things that make the coin-sized devices better at the one thing they’re designed to do: help you locate something you’ve lost.

Apple says the enhanced Precision Finding capability lets you find items up to 50% farther away than the previous AirTag model. This is possible because AirTags 2 use the second generation of Apple’s Ultra Wideband chip, which is also used in the latest iPhone and Apple Watch models. It uses haptic, visual, and audio feedback to help you find what you’ve lost.

The Bluetooth chip in the new AirTags has also been upgraded to work from father away. And thanks to a new internal design, AirTags 2 are 50% louder than the previous model, which lets you hear the chime from up to twice as far away.

Physically, the new AirTags are nearly identical to the previous generation. They’re the same size and shape, so they’ll fit in any compatible keychains or other accessories you already own. They even cost the same as the previous model (though original AirTags are now discounted on Amazon — you can get a 4-pack for $69.99).

Save 29% Off 1st-Gen AirTags

The idea behind AirTags is that you put them in things you don’t want to lose. You can put them in a keychain so you don’t lose your keys. You can put them in a purse or instrument case. You can put one on your bike, in case it gets stolen. You can put them in your luggage when you travel, so you can locate your bags no matter where in the world they end up. You can even put them in a wristband so you don’t lose your kid at Disney World or the ski resort.

Also, if you buy them at Apple, you can get free personalized engraving on them, for what that’s worth. Maybe put your phone number on them so anyone who finds what they’re attached to can call you? I don’t know.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Trailer Shows Jessica Jones in Action, and Matthew Lillard's Mysterious Character

Marvel has provided our best look yet at Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, showing the return of Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones and the reveal of Matthew Lillard's mysterious Mr. Charles.

The newly-released trailer appears to be the same one that was shown to fans at New York Comic Con last year (where Ritter accidentally leaked some of the footage!) and again last month at CCXP in Brazil, now made available more widely.

But while the trailer's contents are not a huge surprise, it's still our first proper look at Ritter back in her iconic Netflix-era role — immediately quipping to Charlie Cox's injured Matt Murdock that he better be able to walk — as she's not carrying him.

Time to dance with the Devil.

Marvel Television’s #DaredevilBornAgain Season 2 premieres March 24 only on @DisneyPlus. pic.twitter.com/WTrubmFwt2

— Daredevil (@Daredevil) January 27, 2026

The trailer opens with seemingly idyllic scenes of Murdock and Karen Page finally, finally once again a couple (hurray!) before something causes our hero to cry out in pain. We also see Vincent D'Onofrio and Ayelet Zurer as Wilson and Vanessa Fisk sharing a tender moment, while Wilson Bethel's Bullseye tucks into an ice cream sundae at a diner — once again seemingly about to cause trouble.

There's a curious shot of someone wearing a rubber Fisk mask delivering an address to camera, and a reveal of Lillard's character Mr. Charles strolling onto the scene. A missing poster for Matt Murdock is placed on a wall, and later scenes see Murdock and Page walking determinedly underground.

Speaking to EW previously, Marvel's Head of TV and Animation Brad Winderbaum described Lillard's role thus: "He plays a character named Mr. Charles. The story is about power. When Wilson Fisk takes over New York, not just as a mayor but as a king in a way, it puts him in a new class of power players on the international stage. Matthew Lillard's character represents that."

Brief shots show another look at Fisk's prison, Murdock's former love interest Heather Glenn, Fisk beating someone in a boxing ring, and his lackeys looking like they're getting ready to get rid of a body. One notable, split-second reveal confirms Elden Henson has recorded new material as Foggy Nelson (despite Henson himself previously attempting to deny this).

The trailer concludes with a launch date — March 24, exclusively via Disney+. Marvel previously confirmed to IGN that a third season of Daredevil: Born Again was already in the works, with filming due to begin this year.

Virtual Boy Joins Nintendo Switch Online Next Month, With 2 Never-Before-Released Games Confirmed to Launch in Future

Nintendo Virtual Boy games are headed to Switch and Switch 2 via the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service next month — and two titles that have never been released before are also now confirmed to be coming.

Nintendo's infamous retro virtual reality console, the Virtual Boy, will officially join Nintendo Switch Online on February 17, following its initial announcement last year. A grand total of seven Virtual Boy titles will be available at launch with nine more will follow at a later date — including Zero Racer and D-Hopper, which never got a public release back in the day.

Originally released by Nintendo in 1995, the Virtual Boy never gained mainstream momentum and was quickly scrapped. The console has become a collector's item in the years since, while its games have remained hard to access — until now.

#VirtualBoy – Nintendo Classics comes to #NintendoSwitchOnline + Expansion Pack February 17th! Check out the latest trailer to see the games and features coming at launch and later this year. pic.twitter.com/kS3PhFtaek

— Nintendo UK (@NintendoUK) January 27, 2026

However, not only will you need a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription to access Virtual Boy games, you'll also need a dedicated Virtual Boy accessory to view their stereoscopic 3D visuals. You have two options here, either the standard Virtual Boy for Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 accessory that Nintendo's selling for $99.99, or a cheaper cardboard alternative that's priced at a lower $24.99.

At launch, you'll be able to rewind gameplay, create save states and remap controls, similar to other Nintendo Switch Online platforms. In the future, you'll also be able to change the screen's color, too.

There's no word on when further games will arrive after the Virtual Boy's February 17 arrival. For now, here's the full launch lineup, and what to expect down the line.

Nintendo Switch Online Virtual Boy Games

February 17:

  • Galactic Pinball
  • Teleroboxer
  • Red Alarm
  • Virtual Boy Wario Land
  • 3D Tetris
  • Golf

  • Jack Bros.
  • Mario Clash
  • Mario Tennis
  • Space Invaders Virtual Collection
  • Virtual Bowling
  • Vertical Force
  • V-Tetris
  • Zero Racers

Emberville Announced for PC; Aims to Be Like Diablo Lite Meets Stardew Valley

Think "Diablo Lite meets Stardew Valley" and you've got a good starting point in mind for Emberville, the just-announced pixel-art action-adventure-RPG from developer Cygnus Cross. It features Doug Cockle (The Witcher series) and Alex Jordan (Cyberpunk 2077) as voice actors, and it's due to be released for PC in Early Access on Steam in Summer 2026.

Emberville aims to go "beyond the conventional expectations of similar 'farm & fight' games, with a simple-yet-deep combat system, inherited skill leveling system and challenging boss fights," according to the development team. Customization is a big focus for gameplay, with cross-class combat skills, a weapon combo system, and a creative area that allows players to build, decorate, and customize their procedurally generated game world all promised.

You can wishlist Emberville on Steam if you're interested.

Where to Stream Every Friday the 13th Movie Online in 2026

After the success of Halloween (1978), Friday the 13th kicked off the 80's by taking the slasher genre to gorey new heights. Jason Voorhees first appeared (sort of) to terrify teens at a Crystal Lake summer camp, and its safe to say the original Friday the 13th is essential viewing for any horror fan. 12 movies and 11 directors later, the hockey-mask wearing horror villain has become a zombie, gone to space, and battled a fellow slasher icon.

For anyone itching for a slasher binge, here's where you can stream all of the Friday the 13th movies right now.

Where to Watch the Friday the 13th Movies Online

The Friday the 13th movies have consistently been pretty hard to find online. This past October, the first eight Friday the 13th movies ("the original series," if you will) found a home at Paramount+, but at some point since then were quietly removed. They were briefly available on Pluto TV, a free streaming service with ads, but they were taken away from there as well (though you can still watch plenty of slashers for free).

As of 2026, none of the Friday the 13th movies are available to stream, other than, for whatever, reason, Jason X on Tubi. Instead, your only option is to rent or purchase the movies from digital storefronts.

Friday the 13th Movies on Blu-ray

While the Friday the 13th movies may be all over the place online, Shout!Factory released a collected set of all 12 movies on Blu-ray back in 2020. The set, which happens to be on sale at Amazon for the actual day of Friday the 13th, also includes what can only be described as a ludicrous amount of bonus features. If you don't need the Blu-ray or all those extras, you can also grab a DVD set of the first 8 movies for around $20.

What Order Should You Watch the Friday the 13th Movies

The Friday the 13th franchise, like most of the 80's slashers, has a lot going on. We're talking spin-offs, reboots, crossovers, and some good ol' time travel. For those interested in the Jason timeline, we've also covered how to watch the Friday the 13th movies in chronological order.

Will There Be More Friday the 13th Movies?

While the 2009 reboot may have intended to bring back the series, complicated legal drama over franchise rights has stalled the production of any new Friday the 13th movies since. Instead, the biggest release the franchise has seen in the past 15 years was Friday the 13th: The Game, which, due to more legal drama, was delisted at the end of 2023.

Still, we may finally get that 13th Friday the 13th movie. Earlier this year, Horror, Inc announced they would be working with some of the original license holders to build up a multi-platform Jason Universe. Yes, of course that's what they're calling it. While the Jason-verse will seemingly kick off with a Crystal Lake TV show on Peacock, hopefully we see Jason back on the big screen sooner rather than later.
