PrismLinux is a minimalist distribution based on Arch Linux. The live image boots into a KDE Plasma desktop and a custom system installer which provides several popular desktop options available for installation, including KDE Plasma, GNOME, COSMIC and Cinnamon, as well as a customized Niri Wayland compositor. The distribution uses the long-term supported (LTS) Linux kernel compiled with kernel parameters optimised for speed and it also includes a pre-configured TLP utility for extending battery life.

ML4W OS is an Arch Linux-based distribution featuring a heavily customised Hyprland tiling compositor. The project specialises primarily in creating advanced configuration for Hyprland, so called "dotfiles", which are available for installation on several other Arch-based distributions, as well as Fedora and openSUSE. However, the live ML4W OS ISO image is a standalone, full-featured Linux distribution with all Hyprland configuration files, applications, icons, themes and wallpapers included. It can be installed to a hard disk using a custom text-mode system installer. The project also provides extensive documentation about setting up and configuring Hyprland.

RELIANOID is a Debian-based Linux distribution for load balancing. The project offers a specialist operating system for testing, development and quality assurance environments. Relianoid is available in Community (free of cost) and Enterprise editions.

PakOS is a Debian-based, desktop Linux distribution. The project aims to supply software and tools that will be useful for the people of Pakistan, though the distribution runs well in other regions and includes multi-language support. The project ships with LXQt as the default desktop and pre-installs many desktop applications and security tools.

Aeon is an immutable desktop Linux distribution based on openSUSE. It is a relatively small, low-maintenance system with automated daily updates, thus recommended for Linux beginners or "lazy developers". Some of the distribution's other features include a custom system installer called Transactional Installation Kit (TIK), a pre-configured GNOME desktop, out-of-the-box support for Flatpak packages, Distrobox configured to launch Tumbleweed containers, and automatic rollbacks to its last working state.

Slimbook OS is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution customised for the Slimbook line of Linux computers assembled in Spain. It offers a choice of GNOME or KDE Plasma desktops on a single ISO image which also includes some custom extensions and utilities. The distribution provides its own repositories for some software, prioritising DEB and Flatpak packages over Ubuntu's snap options. Some of the other interesting features of Slimbook OS include touchpad gestures (enabled by default), Slimbook service notifications, window tiling, the Terminator terminal emulator, a Ulauncher application for fast searching, and a day/night mode switcher.

Nitrux is a desktop Linux distribution built from Debian, but with an immutable base system, the OpenRC init system, and without any traditional Debian package management tools. It uses the Calamares system installer and includes the Hyprland window manager, Hypr utilities, the greetd+QtGreet login manager, and the Waybar Wayland bar. Nitrux emphasizes the use of AppBox to manage end-user software and it also supports AppImage and Flatpak package formats.

NetHydra (formerly HydraPWK GNU/Linux) is a Debian-based distribution designed primarily for penetration testing. It contains a collection of penetration testing tools, including tools for information gathering, scanning, stress testing, exploitation, cracking, reversing engineering and forensics. Formerly known as BlackTrack, the distribution uses a real-time Linux kernel and features the Xfce desktop.

Formerly known as BlackTrack, the distribution uses a real-time Linux kernel and features the Xfce desktop.

FunOS is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution which features the JWM graphical user interface. The project is intended to be more lightweight than official Ubuntu community editions while providing the same application compatibility and hardware support.

CentOS as a group is a community of open source contributors and users which started in 2003 and has been sponsored by Red Hat since 2014. CentOS Linux versions up to CentOS Linux 8 are 100% compatible rebuilds of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, in full compliance with Red Hat's redistribution requirements. In 2020 it was announced CentOS Linux is being discontinued and replaced with CentOS Stream, a developer-focused distribution which acts as a middle-stream between Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

d77void GNU/Linux is a Void-based Linux distribution created to demonstrate the capabilities of Void's tools, such as void-mklive and void-packages. Originally initiated as a Void respin with the Fluxbox window manager, the project has evolved to offer a wide range of window manager, Wayland compositor and desktop environment options, including Awesome, bspwm, COSMIC, dwm, Fluxbox, herbstluftwm, Hyprland, i3wm, JWM, labwc, LeftWM, LXQt, Niri, Openbox, Qtile, River, Sway, Wayfire and Xfce. The distribution can be installed to a hard disc with the text-mode d77void-installer.

Origami Linux is a Fedora-based desktop Linux distribution with immutable root filesystem and atomic updates. It uses System76's COSMIC desktop. The distribution does not offer a "live" mode; it brings up the Anaconda system installer right after the initial boot for a guided installation instead. Besides the default image that uses the standard Fedora Linux kernel, the project offers a separate image with a CachyOS kernel (a Linux kernel with various performance optimisations and CPU enhancements developed by the CachyOS distribution project). A third image, with drivers for recent NVIDIA graphics cards, is also available. Origami Linux intends to be minimal, clean, customisable and suitable for development work.

Security Onion is a specialist, security-oriented Linux distribution based on Oracle Linux. It is a free and open platform for threat hunting, enterprise security monitoring and log management. It includes custom interfaces for alerting, dashboards, hunting, PCAP, detections and case management. It also includes other tools, such as osquery (a tool for exploring and monitoring operating system data with SQL queries), CyberChef (a web application for encryption, encoding, compression and data analysis), Elasticsearch (a data search engine), Logstash (a data collection and processing engine), Kibana (a data visualization plugin for Elasticsearch), Suricata (an intrusion detection and prevention system) and Zeek (a software network analysis framework).

Venom Linux is an independently-developed, rolling-release distribution inspired by CRUX. It targets experienced Linux users. Venom uses SysV init as the main init system and BSD-like ports as software packages which are managed by a custom package management tool called scratchpkg (written in compliance with POSIX standards). The distribution offers a simple graphical desktop built around the Openbox window manager and a text-mode system installer.

Genuen is a spin of Devuan GNU+Linux consisting exclusively of Free Software (as defined by the Free Software Foundation) and a choice of several alternative init systems, such as OpenRC, Runit, s6 and SysV. The distribution ships with the GNU Linux-libre kernel. The project provides installation images for desktop and server deployments, as well as pre-configured live images with JWM, KDE Plasma, Openbox and Xfce desktops available for the i686 and x86_64 architectures.

LainOS is a lightweight, Arch Linux-based desktop distribution aimed at developers, tinkerers and hackers. As a choice of graphical environments, it offers the Hyprland Wayland compositor and the Openbox window manager. The distribution also features the Calamares system installer, personalised yet functional visual aesthetics, and a selection of useful software. LainOS is intended for users who share the admiration of Serial Experiments Lain, a Japanese anime television series.

Berserk Arch is an Arch Linux-based, rolling-release distribution designed primarily for power users, security researchers and developers. It uses a customised Openbox window manager. The distribution offers a modular environment with pre-configured desktop profiles, secure package infrastructure and curated toolsets.

KDE Linux is a user-focused, general-purpose Linux distribution. It is built by KDE and it is meant to showcase the best implementation of everything KDE has to offer, using the most advanced technologies. The distribution's base packages come from Arch Linux, while everything else is either compiled by the kde-builder tool or included as Flatpak packages. KDE Linux does not come with any traditional package manager, but supports installing Flatpak, Snap or AppImage applications. As it has an immutable base, system updates involve replacing the operating system image with an entirely new one.

PimersusOS is desktop Linux distribution based on Debian's "Stable" branch and featuring the Xfce desktop. It was built around the Pimersus web browser, a WebKit-based browser that incorporates advanced privacy and security features, including ad blocking, phishing protection and web tracking shield. The distribution aims to be lightweight, efficient and suitable for older computers.

Vendefoul Wolf is a set of lightweight, Devuan-based Linux distributions featuring various popular desktop environments, including Budgie, Cinnamon, KDE Plasma, LXQt, Trinity and Xfce. As the init software, it offers a choice between SysV and runit. Some of the distribution's other main features include the LibreWolf web browser, the Calamares system installer, an application store, and its own repository of software packages. Besides the main edition, Vendefoul Wolf also produces various community spins with alternative desktops and window managers.

Puppy Linux is yet another Linux distribution. What's different here is that Puppy is extraordinarily small, yet quite full-featured. Puppy boots into a ramdisk and, unlike live CD distributions that have to keep pulling stuff off the CD, it loads into RAM. This means that all applications start in the blink of an eye and respond to user input instantly. Puppy Linux has the ability to boot off a flash card or any USB memory device, CDROM, Zip disk or LS/120/240 Superdisk, floppy disks, internal hard drive. It can even use a multisession formatted CD-RW/DVD-RW to save everything back to the CD/DVD with no hard drive required at all.

Linux Q83 is a desktop Linux distribution based on Debian's "Stable" branch. Depending on the edition, it comes either with the Cinnamon desktop environment (a fork of GNOME created by Linux Mint), or COSMIC (a modern graphical desktop interface written in the Rust programming language, developed by System76). The distribution is available for Raspberry Pi and Radxa Orion O6 single-board computers, as well as standard desktops and workstations. Linux Q83 also comes with its own lightweight and resource-efficient web browser called W3.

AfagOS, a sister project of AgarimOS, is a Void-based Linux distribution featuring a vanilla KDE Plasma desktop. Like all distributions based on Void, it uses the XBPS package manager with the OctoXBPS graphical frontend and the Topgrade meta-updater. The distribution is free of systemd, using the runit init system instead.
