Thunderbird 145 Adds Microsoft Exchange Support + More

Thunderbird 145 now supports Microsoft Exchange via the Exchange Web Services API (EWS). Though it is currently limited to email only, support for accessing calendars and address book is expected to arrive in a subsequent update. This is just the beginning too. Thunderbird is working on Exchange support via Microsoft Graph, a newer, richer API that supports email, calendar, contacts, files and other Microsoft 365 services. Ubuntu LTS Releases Now Get 15 Years of Support

Canonical is extending its support for Ubuntu Long Term Support (LTS) releases to 15 years, up from the current lifecycle window of 12. All Ubuntu LTS releases receive 5 years of standard updates, critical fixes and security patches. A further 5 years of security coverage is available by enabling Ubuntu Pro, which businesses pay for but home users can use for free on up to 5 machines. Minisforum MS-R1 workstation floating over text.Minisforum, a Chinese company famed for selling range of mini PCs, has launched an affordable ARM-based mini workstation with UEFI boot, making it easier to run Linux distributions without the need for custom firmware or bootloaders. The MS-R1 is designed for local inference tasks, Android VM containers in Docker and edge computing.
