Pluribus is a new TV show from Breaking Bad’s creator that premieres later this week on Apple TV. And a roundup of recent previews of the show, including one from a noteworthy critic, make it sound very much like a can’t-miss series.

Asus has been on a roll of sorts with new display releases over the past few years, and it’s showing no sign of slowing down progress. One of the latest, and genuinely most exciting new releases is the $1300 Asus ProArt 6K Display, which offers an outstanding value for Mac users looking for something greater than 4K or 5K.

The $1300 Asus ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV features a native resolution of 6016 x 3384 within the confines of a 32-inch panel. For those keeping score at home, that’s the same 218 pixel density as Apple’s Pro Display XDR. Granted, the Pro Display XDR is in an entirely different league when it comes to display quality thanks to its incorporation of mini-LED, 1600 nits of brightness, and 576 local dimming zones, but its base $4999 price tag (sans stand and matte texture) most definitely reflects this.

Asus has taken a decidedly more economical approach with its 6K display, providing the same amount of screen real estate as Apple’s monitor for less than four times the cost. But that doesn’t mean it sacrificed the ability to provide users with a display that performs admirably given its price. Today Apple unveiled its new intro video for Apple TV content, with music created by Finneas. In an interview with Finneas at Variety, more details have emerged about the video, including the creative process, and the three different versions debuting.

Apple has launched a dramatic new web interface for the App Store. You can now get the full App Store experience right in your browser, with dedicated pages for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision, Watch, and TV app libraries.

Apple has updated GarageBand for iOS 26. The updated version includes the new app icon that was previously spotted on Apple’s website.

Apple is hosting a Christmas tree drawing competition, inviting iPad users to submit their creations for the opportunity to have it projected onto an iconic London building. It follows the projection of drawings created by David Hockney, which were displayed on the building in 2023.

I said only recently that it’s getting harder and harder to believe Apple can deliver on the new Siri. The company’s backtracking on announcements coupled to very vague statements on revised timings were certainly not making it easy to imagine that the new intelligent assistant will deliver.

I’m not yet ready to do my own U-turn on this, and my skepticism still very much remains, but there have at least been a couple of encouraging signs in the last few days …

Via Mark Gurman, Apple has landed on its strategy for the new Siri update coming as soon as iOS 26.4 in the spring of next year. Behind the scenes, much of the new Siri experience will use Google Gemini models.

The custom Gemini model will run on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute servers, to help fulfil user requests. Apple has promised that the new Siri will be able to answer personal questions like ‘find the book recommendation from Mom’ by hunting through data on your device and generating the appropriate response on-the-fly.

Apple’s next major update to iOS 26, version 26.2, could debut in beta as soon as Tuesday, per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This would be immediately after the launch of iOS 26.1 to the public, which he reports should happen on Monday.

In the latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman outlined that Apple retail employees are being asked to prepare for an overnight refresh on the evening of November 11th, signaling potential store changes on November 12th – though they might be minor ones.
