Apple reports record Q4 2024 earnings with nearly $95 billion in revenue

Apple has released its earnings report for fiscal Q4 2024. The company reports $94.93 billion in revenue during the three-month period, up 6% year-over-year. This sets a new September quarter revenue record. For comparison’s sake, Apple reported $89.5 billion in revenue in the same quarter last year.

There is, however, a $10 billion wrinkle to Apple’s earnings this quarter…

M4 MacBook Pro doesn’t tempt me because Apple Silicon Macs are almost too good

The new M4 MacBook Pro is a beast, offering a phenomenal combination of performance and battery-life, with the bonus of a Center Stage camera and the option of a nano-texture display.

But I have to say that I’m not remotely tempted because, honestly, my 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro still feels to me like a brand-new machine – and that phenomenon could be an issue for Apple going forward …

The new M4 Mac mini buys Apple time for a larger iMac

While we were very confident beforehand that we wouldn’t be seeing a larger iMac this week, there are still plenty of people waiting impatiently for at least a new 27-inch iMac. Many are hoping for 30-inch, 32-inch, or even bigger.

Watch: Hands-on with M4 MacBook Pro, iMac and the new Mac mini

YouTuber Brian Tong brings us a nice video of Apple’s Los Angeles hands-on showroom event on Wednesday, which let creators get their first hands on with the new M4-powered Mac product lineup.
