Tile-Placing Board Game Azul Gets a 33% Discount During Amazon’s Black Friday Sale

As the darkness of winter descends and people are driven to gather indoors for the holidays, it suddenly becomes a lot more important to have good board games on hand. If your board game shelf is looking a little barren, worry not; Amazon's Black Friday sale has the excellent Azul for just $21.49 – a 33% drop from its usual price.

For the uninitiated, Azul is a strategic tile placement game in which two to four players are tasked with creating mosaics to win. It's on IGN's best beginner board games list – so at over $10 off, if you've never tried it, now is a good time.

Black Friday Deal: Azul Down to $21.49 at Amazon

Azul made our list of best board game classics for good reason. In our review, writer Matt Thrower said that, "Between its beautiful presentation, simplicity and depth there’s little doubt that Azul has earned its place as a modern classic." And at this price? It's certainly worth picking up for your board game collection.

If you're looking for more board game deals, there's plenty to explore from non-Amazon Black Friday sales. At the moment, Target has a 'Buy 1 Get 1 50% off Board Games and Puzzles' offer going on as part of its Black Friday sale, and other deals will surely pop up as the week continues. For more, check out our full breakdown of Black Friday 2025.

Save Over 50% on Catan With Amazon's Black Friday Board Game Deals

Black Friday is one of the best times of year to pick up board games, full of great discounts to peruse. Among them is the 6th Edition of Catan, available from Amazon and Target for $24.99, a more than 50% discount.

Black Friday Deal: Save on Catan at Amazon and Target

Catan is meant to be played with three-to-four players aged 10 and up, perfect for holiday game nights with family or friends. As you play, you'll trade resources and construct roads and settlements in a race to 10 points. We rank it among the best classic board games to play overall, and it's still one of the best strategy board games in 2025.

There's more where that came from. Amazon's Black Friday sale features quite a few other board games, while Target has a 'Buy 1 Get 1 50% off Board Games and Puzzles' offer going on as part of its own sale. For a look at other retailers' current and upcoming holiday deals, check out our full breakdown of this year's Black Friday sales.

Amazon’s ‘No Console Required’ Xbox Bundle With Pulse Cipher Controller Drops to Its Lowest Price Ever for Black Friday

Amazon's Black Friday sale has been a real treat so far, especially when it comes to video games. Not only has the retailer been offering some incredible discounts on individual games, but it's even dropping the price on a few different bundles. The retailer's own 'No Console Required' Xbox bundle - which allows you to play Xbox games via cloud streaming through an Amazon Fire Stick - has dropped almost 50% in price during Black Friday sales.

In particular, the bundle that comes with the red Pulse Cipher Special Edition Xbox controller, a Fire TV Stick 4K, and one month of Game Pass Ultimate is 48% off at the retailer (see it here). This has brought its bundle price down from $149.97 to $77.97, and marks its lowest price ever, per Amazon's store page. Considering the list price of the Pulse Cipher controller on its own is $79.99, this is a bundle deal well worth taking advantage of while it's available.

Black Friday Deal: Save on Amazon’s ‘No Console Required’ Xbox Bundle

With Game Pass' cloud streaming service, you can play Xbox games without the need for an Xbox console. You just need a streaming device and a compatible controller... such as the Fire TV Stick 4K and the Pulse Cipher controller that make up this bundle. And with one month of Game Pass Ultimate ready to go, you can stay busy through the holidays playing games via cloud gaming. The controller is sure to be a standout addition to your setup, too. It features a vibrant red, transparent design with a silver interior and red rubberized grips on the back.

The Fire TV Stick 4K is a sweet little steaming stick, too. Alongside being able to stream games via Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming, it supports 4K Ultra HD resolution, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ so you can stream from your favorite streaming services in a high-quality format. It even supports Wi-Fi 6 for steady, smooth streaming quality, too.

AirPods Pro 3 Are Back Down to $220 in Black Friday Sales

While the whole month of November has basically been filled with deals this year, it's now officially Black Friday week. Already we've found numerous discounts worth checking out, especially on Apple devices. The brand new AirPods Pro 3 have been among them, dropping down to their lowest price yet of $219.99 across a variety of retailers.

This is a $29.01 discount from their usual price of $249, which is a nice little deal to jump on for these Apple earbuds. If you've had them in mind as a gift for the holidays this year for someone you know, or have just had your eye on them for yourself, now's the time to make a move on them.

AirPods Pro 3 for $219.99

Apple's new Pro earbuds certainly seem like a worthy investment, too, especially if you have travel plans over the holidays. In terms of noise cancellation, the AirPods Pro 3 remove twice as much background noise in comparison to their predecessor. They also boast a battery life that can last up to eight hours with ANC on or up to 10 in Transparency mode which, again, is good news for those getting ready to go on a long trip.

There's plenty more still to come from Apple this week as well. The company recently announced its Black Friday plans, with its sale running from Friday, November 28 through Cyber Monday. There's no need to wait for then, though. Amazon has already dropped some excellent Apple deals as part of its Black Friday sale event that are well worth checking out right now.

For more information on what other retailers are offering up over Black Friday, check out our breakdown of Black Friday 2025. Here, we've gathered up details on which sales are live now or start soon, alongside information on what deals we're expecting to see this year.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Has Dropped to Its Lowest Price Yet at Amazon for Black Friday

The season of savings has officially kicked off. A few different retailers have started up their Black Friday sales, including Amazon. If you're on the hunt for video game deals in particular, we've already found quite a few that are worth your time and money at the retailer, including a whopping 50% off Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (see it here for PS5 and Xbox Series X).

This discount has dropped the price of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 down to just $30 on both platforms. What makes it even better, though, is it marks its lowest price to date on both PS5 and Xbox Series X, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel. No better time to grab it if you've had your eye on it.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Drops to $30

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a game we had plenty of praise for when it was released earlier this year. Our 9/10 review from Leana Hafer said it's, "one part sequel and one part coronation, bringing a lot of the original's ideas to fruition." Not to mention, it recently garnered acknowledgement from The Game Awards, scooping up a Game of the Year nomination.

Black Friday sales are stacked with plenty more video game deals alongside this one, too. If you're looking to pick up some more, we've gathered up some of the best Xbox and PS5 game deals already available, from games to hardware and more. Nintendo's also announced its Black Friday plans, if you're hoping to get some Switch-related goodies on sale.

The PlayStation Portal Gets a Rare Black Friday Discount as Part of PlayStation’s Massive Sale

PlayStation's big Black Friday sale has officially kicked off. If you've been hoping to grab some deals on PS5 games, hardware, or accessories, there's already plenty to look through. The company is even offering a $20 discount on the PlayStation Portal right now as part of its sale, which is a nice little treat for those who have had it on their wish list or have been looking to pick it up as a gift for someone else over the holidays.

This deal is available across a wide variety of retailers as well, from Amazon to Walmart to Best Buy to Target and, of course, at PlayStation Direct. No matter if you've had your eyes on the sleek Midnight Black model or the classic White version, now's a great time to make a move on it.

PlayStation Portal - Midnight Black

PlayStation Portal - White

If you're a bit on the fence about buying the PlayStation Portal, it's worth noting that we're big fans of it. Our 8/10 review from IGN's Seth Macy said it's, "the best PlayStation 5 Remote Play solution available." We even consider it one of the best gaming accessories for your PS5, so if it's your go-to platform, this device is well worth checking out.

On top of that, Sony recently enabled Cloud Streaming for everyone on this device, which allows owners to stream games without being connected to a PS5 console. Keep in mind that you need to be a PlayStation Plus Premium member to access the PS Portal's Cloud Streaming function. The good news on that front, though, is that PlayStation Plus is also discounted as part of its Black Friday sale. New players can sign up right now and score 33% off 12-month memberships.

Dragon Quest HD-2D Remakes Are Discounted Ahead of Black Friday

Ahead of the Black Friday sale event next week, there have been some excellent video game deals already popping up across various retailers.

If you're using this opportunity to stock up your library with some new picks to play over the holidays, we've come across plenty of discounts worth your time and money.

At the moment, Amazon is offering very nice deals on Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake for Nintendo Switch 2 (which has dropped to $49.99) and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X (all down to $34.99).

If these games have been on your shopping list, now is a great time to grab them.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake usually retails with a price tag of $59.99, but this discount has dropped it down 17% so you can save $10 on it. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, on the other hand, is down a whopping 42% from its $59.99 price, which is a very nice deal for those who have been wanting to pick it up.

Both of these received very high praise from us with glowing 9/10 scores in their respective reviews. IGN's Logan Plant said Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake "is a shining example of how to remake a classic RPG and a brilliant reminder of why the original is an essential work," while writer George Yang said of the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake that it recaptures "the retro magic of the originals while giving them a modern facelift."
